.
Arjun, as the CEO of the company, was engrossed in a high-stakes board meeting. Dressed impeccably in a tailored suit, he commanded the room with confidence and authority, discussing strategies and financial projections with the board members.
.
Meanwhile, his younger brother cum baby, Manik, sat in Arjun's plush corner office, tapping his foot impatiently as he idly scrolled through his phone. With each passing minute, his boredom grew more palpable.
Manik- "Ugh, this is so boring," (he muttered, tossing his phone aside). "I thought visiting office would be fun, but this is torture."
Arjun glanced at his brother sympathetically, momentarily distracted from the intense discussion at hand.
Arjun- "I know, Mannu. I wish I could entertain you, but this meeting is crucial for the company's future."
Manik slouched in his chair, letting out an exaggerated sigh.
Manik- "I'd rather be doing anything else right now. Maybe I should have brought a book or something."
An idea sparked in Arjun's mind.
Arjun"- Actually, Manik, why don't you take a look at reports. It might give you some insight into how the company operates and it's also your major in business studies."
Manik perked up slightly, intrigued by the prospect of uncovering the inner workings of Thompson Enterprises.
Manik- "Hmm, I guess that could be interesting. But can you explain some of this jargon to me?"
And so, as Arjun continued to lead the board meeting, he took occasional breaks to look at Manik through the window of his conference room. Because he know very well about his baby brother as he gets boar really easy.
.
As the board meeting dragged on, Manik's boredom reached its peak. With a mischievous glint in his eye, he glanced around the office, searching for a way to inject some excitement into the mundane proceedings.Spotting a stack of sticky notes on his brother's desk, Mannu smirked devilishly. He quickly scribbled silly doodles and funny messages on them, then tiptoed around the office, stealthily placing the notes on the backs of unsuspecting employees.
.
Arjun, preoccupied with the meeting, remained oblivious to his brother's antics until he noticed a stifled giggle from across the room. Turning his head, he spotted Manik attempting to stifle laughter behind a potted plant.Suppressing a smile, Arjun shook his head in mock disapproval.
Arjun- "Mannu, what are you up to now?"
Manik flashed a grin, barely able to contain his amusement.
Mnaik- "Just adding a little excitement to the day, big bro. Check out those notes!"
Amused by his brother's antics, Arjun tried to played along, pretending to scold him while discreetly stifling his own laughter.
Arjun- "You know, Mannu, pranks like these could get you into trouble."
Manik winked at his brother before darting behind another unsuspecting employee.
MAnik- "Exactly! A little prank never hurt anyone. Plus, it's hilarious."
Their conversation was interrupted by a stifled snicker from one of the employees who had just discovered the note on her back. Mannu's eyes sparkled with mischief as he exchanged a glance with Arjun, silently reveling in the success of his prank. But despite his warning, Arjun couldn't help but chuckle as he watched the employees discover the unexpected surprises on their backs. Laughter filled the room as the tension from the meeting dissolved into shared amusement. Because all of the employees in Arjun's office are adore Manik as baby...
Arjun chuckled softly, shaking his head in amusement.
Arjun- "You're lucky I'm the boss around here, Mannu. Otherwise, I might have to reprimand you for disrupting the workplace."
Mannu feigned innocence, placing a hand over his heart in mock dismay.
Manik- "Oh, come on, bhayia. Just enjoy the adventure. Besides, it's not like anyone's getting hurt."
As the meeting continued, the atmosphere in the room lightened, thanks in no small part to Manik's antics. Laughter and playful banter filled the air, breaking the tension that had hung over the meeting earlier.By the time the meeting adjourned, the employees were still chuckling and sharing stories about the unexpected sticky note surprises. Manik and Arjun shared a knowing look, a silent understanding passing between them.
.
.
As Manik reveled in the aftermath of his prank, Arjun couldn't shake off the nagging sense of responsibility. While he appreciated the humor and the temporary relief it brought to the meeting, he also knew that such antics could set a precedent and potentially disrupt the professional atmosphere of the workplace.Once the meeting concluded and the employees dispersed, Arjun pulled Manik aside, his expression serious yet tinged with affection.
.
Arjun- "Mannu, we need to talk about what happened today."
Manik's grin faltered slightly as he sensed the shift in his brother's demeanor.
Manik- "Uh-oh. Am I in trouble, Bhayia?"
Arjun sighed, his gaze softening as he placed a hand on Manik's shoulder.
Arjun- "I'm not angry, Manik. But I need you to understand that pranks like the one you pulled today can have consequences in a professional setting."
Manik nodded solemnly, realizing the gravity of the situation.
Manik- "I'm sorry, Bhayia. I didn't mean to cause any harm. I just wanted to liven things up a bit and have some fun."
Arjun sighed, placing a hand on his brother's shoulder and let him in embrace.
Arjun- "I understand, Mannu, but as the CEO, I have to maintain a certain level of professionalism in the workplace. That means ensuring that everyone feels respected and valued."
Mamik nodded, feeling a pang of guilt for his impulsive prank.
Manik-"I get it, Baba. I crossed a line, and I'm sorry."
After a moment of silence, Arjun spoke again, his tone softened yet strict.
Arjun- "I'm not going to punish you, Mannu, but I do want you to understand the seriousness of your actions. Let's make a deal: no more pranks in the office, okay?"
Mannu nodded earnestly, grateful for his brother's understanding. "Deal. I'll stick to being the responsible younger brother from now on."
