Also sorry for the wait, I had moat of this complete, but then strange stuff started happening and I had to rewrite this, but honestly I think it came out better. Anyway... ENJOY!!!!!

Her instincts told her that this was her chance.

They screamed in her mind, yelling at her to bring down the lightsaber against the girl who had ran up to her and wrapped her arms around her, as if asking for a death sentence.

All her teachings, all that she could remember were to kill. And that this was the perfect chance.

For a scary second, Killiana almost did.

But then memories clashed against her mind like an avalanche of bricks and boulders, almost making her black out.

The sour taste of her food.

She had dismissed it as nothing, the food tasted horrible anyway. Maybe it was just another form of punishment that Baldy had sent them. There didn't seem to be any use in complaining, so she kept to herself.

The cold.

Slowly, the world seemed to darken. It was small things at first. The others were too loud. The blanket wouldn't warm her. The ground was uncomfortable and the training too hard.

Then it got worse.

The fear, the anger, the hate.

She started to be afraid, jittery, nervous. She worried about the state of Spectre E, she worried about the various illnesses that could rest in the dirt, the food, everywhere. She was scared of what the Inquisitor planned to do with them, why he kept them alive for so long.

Then she started unleashing her fear through anger. She became more aggressive during training sessions, more aggressive towards the others one day. However, Killiana remembered when Spectre E had talked to her late at night one day, worried about her when it should've been the other way around and she was angry at him for that, but at the same time understood. And she decided to hide it, only expressing it during training.

Then she started hating everything.

She hated the way they had to honor Baldy as if he did everything for them. She hated the way Cowboy, well, existed and hated the way Ezra was giving him a second chance. She hated the kindness that the others were giving him a second chance. Because he didn't deserve it. Because she hated him and the others had to see that.

She hated the fact that she was stuck in the base. A prisoner, an eternal slave, a pawn. She hated the fact that she couldn't escape.

It started to become overwhelming, consuming, offering her a solution.

At first she resisted, trying to block away the voices that banged into her head, taunting her. It was just so simple. Killiana could be comfortable, be free, she remembered the night before she gave in, how a part of her seemed to give up slightly. She still remembered what they said:

There's no hope. You already tried to escape countless times. There's no way out.

There's always a way out, we just have to find it.

At what cost? How long will it take? You should've given up years ago, no matter what that foolish boy kept telling you. They're all lies. False hope.

We haven't given up for years, why should we now?

Because those were just evidence of the hopelessness of your situation. You had to learn it sometime.

Exactly. They gave us experience. We'll get stronger, smarter. We'll stick together because we're family. We will be free.

Family? Are you that sure of their loyalties child? You're so naive, even after all these years. How many have you watched go, either dying or the Inquisitor taking them away? How many times are you going to watch Spectre E suffer because of this? He's attached to them still, even now, bonded with everyone that he's met because he believed he could save them and look where it led him.

No...

He's told you the story countless times, how he trusted the people who seemed to care for him. The moment they were free to get rid of him, they did.

The others are different.

Different? Tell me child, how are they different? Everyone's the same, cruel and dark. Everyone's driven by greed and selfishness. There's no changing them.

That's not true! Ally, she cares for all of us, has cared for all of us since she was little and never did anything bad to us! Ezra, her brother, he's loyal, always sacrificed himself just so we won't get hurt, making sure we don't lose hope! Ruby, she's watched out for others, making sure we're alright if we're hurt and even gave me her food when I was sick and Baldy wouldn't give me any! Jai, he can be annoying, but he tries to cheer us all up, making everything seem better! Zare, he can be pretty serious sometimes, but he helps us with plans, pointing things out that we'd usually miss!

And what has that all been for hmm? Fail after fail while the you all continue to struggle. But it could've all changed, you could've been free if it wasn't for that jedi scum. And how has he helped? He's only made things worse for you...

Spectre E... he told us to trust him and if he does...

Just remember my words...Remember my warning to you...

The last straw...

Spectre E having to rush his healing, having to suffer more because of Cowboy's arrogance, it made rage firmly plant itself into her soul, her being. She remembered lashing out on him, because in the end, he didn't care for them. All he wanted was to save his own skin and escape. That's why killing him had seemed so right at the moment, and she was tempted to do it.

Until the others started screaming her name, which they all agreed would never be said unless it was an emergency.

It stopped her from choking Kanan to death... at the moment. The urge to do it, to get revenge, had only grown once Baldy had separated her from the group and explained to her her true potential. He had tempted her with the sweet taste of revenge if she obeyed, and she hoped that would happen.

Hope.

Despite having turned to the Dark Side as Baldy called it, Killiana could still feel their pain, their worry, their hope. It was frustratingly annoying, being able to do that, because after a while, the girl wasn't sure if the hope she was feeling was hers, or not. And in the end, it didn't matter. Sure, she still obeyed her Master loyally but she still had hope. Hope that she'll get out, hope that things will get better. Hope that the others would escape, hopefully without her because she was a lost case.

That was why when she saw they came back, Killiana attacked.

Faintly, almost as if they were far away, the girl heard a scream of, "ALLY!" a whisper telling her that she was directing her anger at the wrong person.

Then everything seemed to clear, she finally heard the words that we're muted for so long. Setting her eyes on her enemy, Killiana charged and brought the blade down.
