Today I will be reviewing 'Pyaar Actually' by ParizaadeDvn which tells the tale of SIX different individuals and THREE love stories in ONE book!

Are you ready?

Lets begin!

With many of the cast members already being together in previous movies, this is actually perfectly been chosen! I LOVE IT ♡ Check that :D

As far as I know, this is inspired from movies like Love Actually, where there's many different love stories with many popular actors and actresses.

At first, I couldn't imagine all cast members in one movie but because of the concept of the book it truly works out great.

Each and every character were lovable but personalities were overly used, meaning it was nothing new.

Coming down to Anushka and Jay, they stood out the most but the others lacked with strong, different and unique factors about themselves.

Reading the summary and character descriptions for the sequel for this book, I can already see the change in the characters and the personalities seem to stand out more for all which is a plus.

The plot itself is working around the love stories of six lives. This book is more character based than plot, but still works very well because of the concept.

The relationships between the characters, the writer definitely knew what they had, but emotionally nothing has stricken a chord in terms of twists that should occur in their lives being it's character based.

The first scene of the book is used often, usually when a writer can't come up with an opening.

There were many scenes that were entertaining and I truly loved. It only lacked scenes where we get to know the characters on an emotional level.

I'm hoping in the sequel we get to see more of the struggles the characters go through while their love story is taking place. In a book as such, it is strongly needed since there isn't a bold plot and the goal only being love.

POV change makes sense in this story. At times, it wasn't needed given it was very small, but if it's small, it needs to have feelings and perhaps more description.

Word choices, descriptions, emotions and actions have only been briefly told though out. There are minor mistakes when it comes to punctuation and paragraphing but that can be solved.

By the end of the book, the writer has definitely got better word choice, grammar and layout. It's only a matter of editing.

- Editing needs to be taken in place which is the only change I see that needs to be made initially.

- Try and add more description to the chapters. I don't need to tell you how because I know you can since you did near the end chapters of the book :D

- To help make your characters stand out, create character profiles. Maybe base their personality traits and habits from people you know and have met.

I hope this helped you and the advice and points I have given (purely my opinion) will help develop the book.

Any questions?

If you want your Bollywood book to be reviewed or you think it simply has potential room for improvement, just fill in the form on the first chapter.

Until next time...
