Chapter Four

"So you mean to tell me," San started while holding the door open for Wooyoung, allowing him to leave the diner first before he would step out to head to the car, "That you, a twenty one year old have never gone swimming before?" He was shocked to hear. They were talking while eating their breakfast and Wooyoung had admitted that he never swam before, not even in a pool! How sad was that?!

"Well if you can count swimming in a bathtub when you're a small child then yes, I've been swimming before." San could groan. "That does NOT count but holy shit. I would have assumed you've at least been in a pool. You sad sad person. Wow. So this means you have no swim trunks right?" He questioned while getting into his car, seeing Wooyoung shake his head from the corner of his eyes as he went to turn on the car engine, grinning. "Okay. So we're going shopping then." He didn't even give Wooyoung time to protest, already making his way to the nearest clothing store he could think of.

"You look around my size, maybe one or two smaller." San commented while pulling up into the first parking spot he saw available, nodding his own head he took a glance at Wooyoung's body and nodded.

"Yeah. You would fit something I'd wear." Motioning Wooyoung to follow him he stepped into the shop, already heading for the men's summer wear so they could pick out some swim trunks. San needed to get himself a new pair anyway, plus shopping was fun! He could see from the corner of his eye Wooyoung lookin at the different shorts that were out for display, grabbing a simple black pair for himself while San grabbed a baby blue pair. "Do I have to like- Actually try them on?" San nodded at the question, making Wooyoung groan.

"Ugh. I always hated trying on clothes when shopping. Even as a kid." He would complain, making San laugh. "Oh relax, you'll be fine. Besides we gotta know if they'll fit correctly. Don't wanna be swimming just for them to easily slip off now would we?" Smirking, he went to the worker to let him know they would be trying on some clothes, knowing he probably embarrassed Wooyoung at the comment alone.

They were led to the changing area, San stepping in one room and Wooyoung stepping into the room just next door. Locking the door, San unbuttoned his jeans and easily slipped them off along with his shoes. Keeping underwear on, he tried on the trunks he got and grinned to himself in the mirror. Damn. He looked good in blue.

"You good Wooyoung?" He hollered while he was changing back, hearing a little 'yeah!' Came from next door. He stepped out, now waiting for Wooyoung, crossing his arms over his chest he waited. "I got sunblock and towels at my place. Can just swing by there and then drive to the beach." He called, watching Wooyoung come out finally with the shorts folded.

"How long is the drive anyway?" He asked, San having to do the math in his head before shrugging. "About a ninety minute drive from Seoul." He saw Wooyoung's eyes widen. "Are you sure we should do this? What if my dad finds out I skipped class to have a day at the beach?" His worries started to build, making San roll his eyes.

"Well first off ditching school was your idea in the first place so if we get busted won't be my problem but yours. I'm just supposed to do everything you tell me to, and two, I doubt he'd find out where you are since we would be at the beach, BUT if he was to find out just say fuck off! You're twenty one. People at this age shouldn't even have to worry about what their parents think. I know I never cared what they said, even when I did live with mine." San's words did seem to calm Wooyoung a bit while they went to purchase their shorts.

"I guess. I just- Never went against my father before."

"Somehow I'm not surprised." San received a glare at that. "But really. Just don't think about it okay? Right now you're fine, just think about the awesome day you're gonna have. Who knows? Maybe you'll get some beach babes." San wiggles his eyebrows in his direction, making Woo tug at the collar of his shirt, clearing his throat.

"I uh- Don't really like girls in that way." Woo admitted, making San shrug. "Alright cool, me neither. Maybe instead we'll find you a hot lifeguard to give you mouth to mouth." There San went again, wiggling his eyebrows and made Wooyoung groan and push him away.

Laughing, he pulled out his card and paid for their shorts, and left for his car with Wooyoung following along. "We can go into my place and change there, then grab the stuff, even some snacks we can eat on the beach then get going." Turning on his car San was already driving back to his apartment, besides, he knew that they would probably come back pretty late so he wanted to make sure Byeol would be okay on her own for so long.

Getting there, he grabbed his bag and hurried out, Wooyoung following behind with his own bag. With his keys, he went into his apartment building and up the stairs to the third floor and with his keys, unlocked his front door and stepped in, taking off his shoes. When Wooyoung was in and taking off his own shoes he shut the door.

"Nice place." He heard Wooyoung compliment, making him shrug.

"Eh. It's not much but it's home, especially when you have someone to keep you company." Wooyoung raised a brow and instead of replying as if on cue Byeol came running from wherever she was sleeping and rubbed up against San's leg. He could hear the little gasp from Wooyoung as he crouched down.

"Oh my god! She's so cute!" Wooyoung gushed over the cat, who seemed to already like the younger because she went over and rubbed up against him.

"Her name is Byeol." San said while he stepped back to just watch the two. He saw how happy Wooyoung was and it made him smile too. "She's adorable. I've always wanted a cat but dad always said no." San chuckles at the pout and hummed.

"Well now that you and I are supposed to be with each other a lot you can always stop by here and play with her. She's a pretty social cat- as you can tell and she's very friendly." Leaving Wooyoung with Byeol he went to head for his bathroom to change.

God, Wooyoung couldn't help but admire over how pretty Byeol was, especially her eyes when they glistened under the light! He could almost cry, especially when he'd watch her press her face against his hand when he would leave it hovered over her head to see what she would do. He ended up remaining where he was until San came back, wearing the trunks and a light grey tank top.

"Figured you'd want to wear something a little lighter than a regular shirt during the drive over so I put a tank top like his one in the bathroom. It's just down the hall, last door on the left. I already got a bag with the sunscreen and towels." San motioned to the bag on his shoulders.

"And while you're changing I'll gather some snacks and shit for later." Nodding, Wooyoung followed San's directions which led him right to his bathroom like he said. Shutting the door behind him he locked it. Assuming they would probably just change back into their clothes when they would be done swimming, when he was changed he folded his previous clothes and stepped out of the bathroom, holding them. "Are we taking out other clothes with us?" He called as he went back to the living room, by then Byeol was now on the couch, stretching herself out to get herself more comfortable.

"Well if you want!" He heard San from the kitchen and soon came back over to him, opening the bag so Wooyoung could stuff his clothes into them.

"Probably a good idea to do that now that you mention it, can change in the changing rooms they have here or something." Nodding, he went to get his shoes while San was stuffing his own clothes in the bag. Once that was said and done he put his shoes back on, before looking up to Wooyoung with a smirk.

"Time for the beach!"
