Chapter Eight

The next few weeks couldn't go by any quicker. After Wooyoung was finished with school, he was left home a lot and because his father seemed to be home more these days, it left him to be without San and he had to admit, not having the older's company was quite lonesome.

But waking up one morning, he heard his father's voice from downstairs and... San's! Wooyoung quickly rushed out of his bed, already hurrying down the stairs, not seeming to remember that he was sort of in just a shirt and pair of underwear. By the front door was a bunch of suitcases, most of them were probably his father's but some must have been San's since he was technically supposed to stay over with Wooyoung.

"Ah, Wooyoung!" He heard his father, seeing him be beckoned over, so he made his way fully down the stairs so that he could walk up to the two.

"Just in time, I was just about to come and wake you so that I could say goodbye." He felt a pat on his shoulder, and Wooyoung had to force himself to look up at him. "Please be safe, okay?"

"Okay dad, you should go before you miss your flight." Was all Wooyoung said, he wasn't going to lie and say that he would miss him. He wouldn't. Not one bit. Being given a nod in return, he looked to San. "Help me bring my things to my car." While the two were working on that, Wooyoung went over to the couch, and sat himself down, his phone already in hand. He took a glance out the front window, by then all of his father's belongings had been placed either in the trunk or in the backseat.

Catching his father's gaze through the window, Wooyoung gave him a simple wave, and FINALLY, his father got into his car to drive off, leaving the two alone. San came back, leaving his own belongings by the front door when shutting it and went over to Wooyoung, plopping next to him with a loud groan. "Finally. I thought he'd never leave."

"You're telling me." Wooyoung laughed, shrugging he sighed. "This is going to be fun. But okay, now to talk about this beach house we're going to." Just the idea had Wooyoung all excited, the biggest smile on his face as he turned to San before something came to mind, a loud gasp coming from him.

"Byeol!" He proclaimed, making San raise his brows, who seemed confused. "What about her?"

"She'll be alone at your place! Don't you think she should come with us?" He asked, quickly standing up he looked down to San, who seemed to just laugh at his worries. "Aw~ How cute of you to worry about her so much. But no need to worry. Byeol will be staying with another friend of mine until we get back. She loves her to pieces so Byeol will be in good hands, promise." San's reassurance seemed to calm Wooyoung, who nodded. "I should probably pack my stuff then, then we should be good." San nodded, but before Wooyoung could head up the stairs, he heard him giggling which made him snap his head in his direction.

"What's so funny now?" He questioned.

"Nothing nothing... Cute tidy whities by the way." Wooyoung quickly looked down to his legs when realizing that he had forgotten to throw on a pair of pants before running downstairs, face dusted a bright red he smacked San's shoulder. "Shut up!"

~

San had told him that six of his other friends would have been joining them both on their little vacation, which Wooyoug didn't seem to mind much, but made the comment that the house they rented would definitely be full.

"Oh yeah, we actually gotta share a room, since there's only four bedrooms I believe, so you and I will share one. Don't worry~ I think there's two beds so we don't have to share one." Wooyoung bit his lip at the explanation, though he wouldn't mind sharing a bed with San if it came down to it...

The drive was long, longer than their last one, and most of it Wooyoung and San would have either been singing to songs on the radio, Wooyoung playing games on his phone or hell, he even took a nap, reclining the seat back to get himself comfortable, though he was rudely awoken at some point by San shaking him saying he stopped by somewhere to get some food.

The trip finally came to an end, as the sun began setting, Wooyoung had his earphones in watching youtube videos when he felt the car stop. "We're here!" San pulled out one of the earphones from his ear to yell, making Wooyoung nearly smack him. "I can see that, dipshit!" San gave him a cheeky grin before he was crawling out of the driver's seat, Wooyoung soon following him and going to the trunk to get his belongings. From the amount of cars that were also parked, he would have to assume that they weren't the first to arrive.

"Everyone else is already inside I'm assuming, sucks we were the last ones here, we can't choose our own room now." Seeing the pout San had, he shook his head, slinging a bag over his shoulder, he grabbed what he was able to, and letting San take the lead, Wooyoung following right behind. As they approached the front door, Wooyoung could already hear loud voices from inside, one of those voices pretty deep compared to the others. Before San could even open the door it suddenly flung open, Wooyoung quite literally jumping back as someone, who was way taller than him or San came colliding with the pink haired man.

"San! About time you got here!" So this was the deep voice he was hearing. Both were laughing before getting up from the ground. "Yeah, sorry about that. Oh! This is-"

"Wooyoung I assume?" The tall man was soon looking to him, he cleared his throat and nodded, holding up a hand out for Mingi to take. "I heard a lot about you! San complained to me lots of times about how much of a brat you are!" San's eyes widened hearing that, Wooyoung scoffing and turned to said man. "Oh really? I am huh?" He questioned, San letting out a nervous laugh. "Well you gotta admit you kind of are, especially when we first met but you're cool now, I swear!" He even held his hands up in defense. Dropping it for now, he turned back to Mingi who took his hand for a handshake. "It's nice to meet you as well, uhhh...?" He only just realized that he never got this stranger's name.

"Mingi! I'm Mingi. Come on, the other guys are excited to meet you!" Without waiting for any response, he was suddenly dragged, accidentally dropping his bag from the force of being pulled. He was dragged into a room of strangers, the loudness of their voices seemed to quiet, eyes on him which made him grow a bit nervous. But thank god San came to the rescue, he felt a hand on his shoulders.

"Guys this is Wooyoung. Wooyoung." He pointed to each person while giving him their names, he first pointed to the red head sitting on the couch. "That's Seonghwa, he's the oldest of us all," And then he pointed to the man who was clinging onto Seonghwa. "That's Hongjoong, his boyfriend." And then he pointed to a man who seemed to be even taller than Mingi. How was that even possble-

"This is Yunho." San then leaned into his hear. "Mingi has the biggest crush on this guy, but he's too scared to say anything about it." He said to him, a little 'oh' coming from Wooyoung. Yunho seemed to give Wooyoung a bright smile. Damn, this Yunho guy reminded him so much of a golden retriever.

He heard a coming from the second floor, making Wooyoung look to the ceiling. "Most likely Yeosang, he's never been too much of a social person, you'll meet him during dinner. Where's Jongho?" San had turned over to Seonghwa, curious of where the youngest had gone. "He's probably with Yeosang." San nodded before laughing. "They also have a thing for each other, Yeosang and Jongho, but they're both too stubborn to really say anything. It's crazy." Wooyoung giggled at that, and turned to the front door, where most of his stuff had been left abandoned. "Let's go put our stuff in our room." Wooyoung suggested, San nodding and turning around himself.

Wooyoung following behind, he picked up his stuff he dropped and again, followed San up the stairs. They look around, and once they found the only vacant room available, two twin beds next to each other were in the middle of the room, Wooyoung took the one on the right, while San took the one on the left. Before he'd go to get the remaining of his stuff Wooyoung sat down, blowing silent raspberries before gazing to the window that was by the head of his bed.

Seeing the view of the beach, it made him smile. "Wow. It looks beautiful." He commented, San had nodded in agreement, but soon Wooyoung took a look to San. "Your friends seem nice, hopefully I can get along with them. Do they... you know- know?" San had nodded, sitting down on his own bed. "Yeah, they do, so no need to worry about them, actually Hongjoong is a boss himself."

Wooyoung's eyes had gone wide at that. "What? Him? Really? He seems the smallest out of all of us-" San seemed to laugh over how Wooyoung reacted. "He may be short but he can probably kick all our asses, don't underestimate him, but other than that he's a cool person, you'll get along with him great. He actually grew up in this business too, so that's one thing you guys have in common." Hearing this, Wooyoung turned his gaze to the window, hearing Mingi letting out a loud laugh and smiled.

He knew he would have an awesome time with them all.
