Bobette was running away crying after what Vee had said to her and wasn't paying attention to where she was going, causing her to bump into the Star of the Show, Dandicus Dancifer.

Bobette: Oh, sorry! I didn't see you there.

Dandy: Why are you here, anyway?

Bobette: I'm looking for my friends, their names are Rudie and Ginger, as well as my pet rock, Coal.

Dandy: Yeah? Why should I care? I'll have you know that you're not supposed to be out here.

That statement alone shocks Bobette.

Bobette: What?! Why not? I'm a Main Character, just like you and your dog, Pebble.

Dandy: Oh, you're a Main Character alright, just not a true one. Don't you have a basement you should be locked in?
