I listen to the leaves crinkle and crunch under my feet as I walk along the sidewalk. It's Halloween night, but it's past 11pm, so there aren't many people out.
I enjoy these long walks at night, especially in the fall. The perfect breeze blowing on my face. So what if a leaf slaps me on the cheek? It's still nice.
I finally reach back to my house. Man, that didn't feel long enough. I would walk around a bit longer, but ya know... creeps...
I turn to my door and enter the security code, unlocking it. Before I open it, however, I feel like someone is behind me. Like, that weird feeling you get when someone is around.
I turn around, and sure enough, the Red Dev is standing right in front of me.
I quickly open the door and slip inside, shutting the door. I run to the living room phone to call 911, but then I hear the door open again.
Damn, forgot to lock it.
I turn around and I see the Red Devil, slowly walking up to me, sharpening his knife.
"Did you know, a human tooth contains 36 calories," The man says, staring me down as he gets closer.
"Omg you have such a hot voice," I say. He stops cold, confused at such a strange comment. Good.
"What?" He asks, loweing his knife.
"On god, it's even better when you're confused. Also damn that gaze like stare at me all night babe," I say, literally blushing and fanning my face.
He looks away, now embarrassed at such the awkward interaction.
"Oh honey boo, I'm sure you got places to be!" I say, turning him around and shoving him out the door. "Adios mi amor!"
I shut the door, lock it, and sit down on the couch. Man, that was tiring.
I wasn't lying though he may be trying to kill me but that was sure a sight to see.
