I ran to my next class. Thankfully, no one is in that class with me. Except Christine. I tapped on her shoulder before the class started.

"Hey, uh, Christine, can we talk after class?"I asked her. She looked extremely confused but nodded.

"Of course! That's what friends are for!"

I sighed in relief as the teacher started up with his lecture.

After class I waited for Christine. I started texting on my phone and look up some funny videos on Youtube.

Christine walked out with a bunch of books in her hands. So I helped her carry them. "Thanks, Jeremy. Lifesaver, you are." Christine smiled at me. I suddenly got over her after the play. When we went on that first date, we decided to be friends. We went on bowling trips and all that. Mostly just because if one of us loses we have to do an impression of someone and Christine loves hearing my terrible impression of Rob DeNiro. Joe Pesci is a way better impression for me.

"No problem!" I said quite loudly.

"So, what was it you wanted to talk about?" We walked to her locker so she can exchange her books for the next class.

As she was opening her locker, I blurted out,"I'm bi!"

She looked at me and started laughing hysterically. I looked at her kind of pissed. "What's so funny?! Why are you judging me all of a sudden?!"

She took a moment to regain her posture. Wiping a single tear from her eye, she sighed out still chuckling,"we all know you are. It's pretty obvious." I blushed a lot due to her remark. I hid my face behind my books just slightly.

"I mean come on, everyone sees you eyeing up legit Michael, Rich and Jake all the time. Why don't you ask one of them out?"

I blushed even more and slid down the locker,"-they all asked me out..."

Christine stopped and slammed her locker. I looked up at her before she started up. "Ohmygodyouneedtosayyesssssssssssohmygoddddd."

I looked away to the other side."Easier said than done now. I would really love to. But I kinda blew up at them when they did and I claimed I wasn't bi or gay. "

She looked at me and slid down the locker to my level. "That happened before. Before I came out and Jenna had to help me come out. I'm happily with her now."

"I don't like people judging the fact that I say one thing and then I go and do the other thing. It's like being a hypocrite, ya know?"

She nodded and held out her hand,"but what's a life if it's easy as hell? Come on, I'll help you get a grip on what to say.

"Ok, so what are you going to say?" Christine helped me up to the mirror for the 50th time.

"I— I'm going to say... ugh I can't get it! I'm scared Christine!" I gave her puppy dog eyes because I have a major lack of self confidence.

Christine smiled and looked at me. "Listen, Jeremy. Why don't you just be yourself. If you mess up then you mess up. You're human. Plus, if they still love you, then they will doubt some stutters will matter. As long as you get your point across. Saying that you love them and hoping that they won't leave or judge you."

I looked over to her and smiled. "You're right. I just hope they forgive me for yelling at them.."

Christine hugged me,"they will. Don't worry about that."
