Work was so hard today but I'm not the type to let my anger get the best of me. My boss gave me my coworkers work since they were "sick". I asked him why he didn't just leave it in his desk and he'll get it done when he comes back but he simply gave me a stare that read "do it or you're fired".

So here I am, obviously upset that I have to stay after to finish my work and the extra work I was given. I was planning to hang out with tokoyami today but no.

I sighed as I tried to calm down. I didn't want to get emotional at work because that would be the worst. These days, me and tokoyami wouldn't have enough time to hang around each other since I left early in the morning and came back late at night.

I brushed off my negative thoughts as I slapped my cheeks to stay awake and finish as fast as I possibly can. I slipped on my reading glasses and fixed my posture in my chair and began to work.

Around some hours, I was finally done. I quickly got up, excitedly and stretched my arms. "Finally I can see him" I whispered to myself as I rushed my papers into my suitcase, forgetting to close it properly.

I shoved my glasses into their case and pushed in my chair and headed to my car. I saw that it previously rained but my cubicle didn't have any windows so I wouldn't know.

"Looks a little gloom-" I said to myself and heard a loud splat right next to me. I looked to my side and saw my suitcase half open and my papers that I just finished on the ground. Inside of a big puddle.

I sighed really loudly not trying to break the act as I quickly got on my knees and picked them up. I patted them down on the sidewalk but it was also wet so I air dried them and shoved them back in my suitcase.

"It's okay it's okay" I kept telling myself as I threw my case inside the passenger seat and got my keys for my car. I plunged them in and twisted it. The engine won't start. I tried again and again and it wouldn't start.

I put my hands on the steering wheel and laid on my hands. I slightly sighed as I got back up. "(Y/n) it's okay just take the bike" I said as I got my suitcase out and got out of my car. I locked it and went inside of the building. I unlocked my bike with the lock and got outside.

Biking to my home isn't very far but I'm scared of the night since I can get mugged and even worse, killed. Yeah the heroes would be there to help but they can't always save everyone.

I pressed into my chest to stop my heart from beating so fast from fear. "It's okay. Do this and you can see toko" I said and a smile came on my face. I gulped and went on my way home. I was going to play music on my phone but I was too scared so I just payed attention to my surroundings.

I was a block away from my home and suddenly my vision became so blurry. I looked down and noticed I was crying. The tears kept coming as I pedaling desperately now as I reached my home. I threw my bike into my garage and closed it again.

I got inside by the door leading inside the house with hope in my eyes to see tokoyami. I spotted him sleeping on the couch with a movie playing in the background. Dark shadow was up as he was waiting for me. He spotted my figure and quickly woke up tokoyami.

It was too much for me and my tears came falling down even stronger now and I began to sob. "(Y/n)?..what happened are you okay?" Tokoyami said as he quickly got up and came to see if I was hurt or anything. He took my hand in his as he stared up at me with worried eyes. Dark shadow was also looking at my figure to see if I was hurt as well.

"I-...*hic*...miss y-you" I sobbed to him as he lightly held me as I fell down onto my knees. I didn't understand as to why I was full on crying into tokoyamis arms since I have seen him this morning. But just needing him here was the only thing I wanted the whole day.

"(Y/n)..let's go take a bath, yes?" Tokoyami asked me as he helped me up on my feet. I got up and wiped my tear faced face and nodded shyly. He nodded as he led us to our room and he took my bookcase inside and it opened up just as it did to me previously.

"I'll let these out so they'll dry overnight" he informed me as he took the sheets of paper out and placed them down onto our carpet for them to dry. I smiled at the small action as I began to strip from my work clothes.

I got inside my favorite towel and headed to the toilet. "I'll start it up for us" Tokoyami said as he went towards me and placed a small peck onto my forehead. "Okay and thank you" I said with a soft voice as I looked down shyly.

He smiled and started up the bath and got some soap inside for the bubbles. I wiped my face and played with my hair until the water was done. "You can get in first" he told me as he striped from his clothes in front of me. I didn't want him to see my embarrassed state so I quickly removed my towel and got in.

When the hot, warm water hit my body it made me tense up. For a while I just sat there, feeling the water move around me. Tokoyami got in and sat across from me. He laid against the water faucet even though it was uncomfortable. He wanted me to have the flat wall so I can relax against it.

I did and as my back hit the wall, I flinched a little and sank inside the water. My knees were up though poking out since I'm too long for them to be able to sit criss cross.

After some time, I sat up to start to wash my body and hair but Tokoyami moved closer to me. "Let me wash you" He said with a smile. "Thank you baby" I said warmly as I turned around in the water and let him wash me.

I felt his soft hands wash my neck and back with the sponge and my eyes started to hurt again. Soft kisses were left around my body as he washed the surface. I started to cry again but silently this time.

I didn't mean to but a soft hiccup escaped from my mouth and Tokoyami turned me slowly. "Was today a bad day at work?" Tokoyami asked me worryingly as he caressed my face softly.

I nodded slowly as I couldn't speak clearly since only sobs would leave my mouth if I did. He sighed and he leaned close to my face. He kissed all over my face. My eyes, my nose, my cheeks and finally my lips.

"It's okay (y/n), you don't have to repeat today again" he said and just that it gave me hope for tomorrow. I wiped my face again and held our foreheads together. "Yeah, you're right" with a small smile.

We finished washing ourselves and our hair as well in a while. I headed to our room to change as Tokoyami drained the bathtub water and cleaned the bathroom. I sat in my bed drying my hair with a towel and saw Tokoyami come in and went into my dresser. I was about to ask him what he was doing but he came back with a boxer of mine and a big shirt that belonged to him but I sneakily his inside my dresser.

He walked towards me and stood in front of me with a smile. I quickly got the hint and stopped drying my hair as I stood up and he slid his shirt over me. Then he helped me get into my new boxers and it was a struggle since I kept slipping off my foot from not being able to keep my composure up.

I sat back down in bed and fanned my face since it was very bright red from Tokoyami being so nice to me today. It was like he was a perfect man. Well, he is in fact. He changed into his Pjs and turned off most lights except the one in the hall.

"Let's go to sleep and I'll make sure we can hang around tomorrow" he said as he got in and I followed him as well. We scooted closer to each other until I accidentally hit his beak. "Oh! Sorry!" I apologized as I was planning to say something else. He lightly laughed and kissed my cheek.

"You're all good baby" he said as he opened his arms and I snuggled inside and his strong scent hit me and I instantly smiled. His scent was something I could never forget. I laid on his chest as he rubbed my arms in a soothing way and fell asleep knowing today was a bad day but at least it was over.
