I am so sorry I haven't updated this book in so long. I'll be honest it's because of my mental health and because of school so I am sorry once again.
Quirk: tranquility . It's odd at first but you can control someone's mind as you'd like. You can calm them down, react negatively, or even faint or cause extreme pain. Downside of this, if you use it too much, it'll cause you pain instead.

"Y/n)?" I heard my name being called so I turned in my desk and sighed. It was only my childhood friend coming over to my desk with a smile. Half the time, it means she wants me to do something for her.

"What is it, (f/n)?" I said as I turned around in my desk chair and dropped my hands from typing in my computer. "I missed you!" She exclaimed as she threw her arms out expecting me to hug her. I sighed and got up and did as so.

"I forget how tall you are! Makes me feel nice about having a mans warmth this close!" She giggled as I smiled softly and patted her back to let go. She did and composed herself and smiled once again.

"Now what did you need-?" I was beginning to ask but she cut me off by shoving her phone in my face. "Blind..dates? For who?" I asked as I finally read what was on her phone. "For you silly! I know you haven't been out there since forever" she dragged out the last phrase as she began to explain the matches she found for me.

I tried to keep up and listen but she was way overly excited and I couldn't understand. "You're going too fast (f/n). Can you just tell me why this? I never asked you to" I told her and she sighed softly and turned to look at me with a soft smile.

"I know you didn't ask for this, but it just hurts seeing my best friend waste his life on hero work that's mostly just paperwork. I worry that one day you'll die all by yourself with no one by your side" she began her little speech making me sigh and smile at her generosity. I know she meant well so the best I can do for her is to attend to these dates.

"Thank you for doing that (f/n), I appreciate it so just this once...I'll attend" I said making her smile and squeal. She jumped up excitedly and hugged my shoulder tightly. "Thank you thank you!! Okay I'll send you the location of the meet up for all the dates and make sure to dress nice, not all office clothes" she said making me blush in embarrassment. "T-that's not all I wear!"

-time skip-

I turned off my car as I looked down at my phone making sure I got the directions of the place right. I looked over and it was a little coffee shop that had really modern colors. I sighed and looked at myself in the rear view mirror.

"I hope I don't embarrass myself so much today and get this done with" I said to myself as I stepped out of my car and slammed the door shut. I shoved my keys in my front pockets and headed over to the little shop.

As I walked in, the smell of fresh bread and coffee grounds hit my nose so softly. I walked over to the counter and ordered a medium (your kind of coffee) coffee and some bread on the side because I'm a little hungry this afternoon.

I got my order and I quickly walked over to an empty booth. I went inside and sighed. I looked over to my phone and made sure when my first date was going to come. "In 10 minutes.." I thought to myself. I began to feel nervous as time passed until my date entered the shop.

I was confused as to how he immediately recognized me but remembered (f/n) made my profile for me so she had to use my picture. "(Y/n)? Right? Hi, I'm (r/n) nice to meet you" he said as he took a seat in the booth in front of me.

I grasped my coffee in both of my hands in nervousness but managed to talk. "Yeah, that's me. So, this is my first time doing something like this so I'm a little nervous" I admitted making the other male chuckle. My cheeks flared as I thought he was laughing at me.

"Sorry! I wasn't laughing at you. Well, what do you do for a living?" He asked I looked up and answered honestly. "I'm a sidekick for a hero but I'm thinking of applying to be a hero instead" I said making the other male chuckle once again.

"A hero? What's your quirk then?" He asked as he cocked an eyebrow at me. I felt a little offended but I explained either way. "Umm...okay. It's called tranquility. Basically I can control your mind however I want to" I said. He seemed like he didn't believe me so I raised my hand and softened my fingertips. Suddenly, his face fell out of tension and his eyes fluttered softly.

"See how you're feeling extremely calm?" I asked and he nodded nonchalantly. I stopped and he was brought back. "But how are you going to be a hero like that? It's better for you to just be a sidekick " he said making me frown. I'm used to people telling me I'm better as sticking at what I'm doing right now but I'm tired of that cycle.

"I think our date is over for today" I announced and he looked at the clock in the shop. "Oh shoot! I'm almost late to my kids birthday party!" He ran out of the shop not even looking back at me and I sighed. "And he was a married man, sheesh"

The other dates either went horribly wrong or rather okay but none of them made me want to go see them once more. No one really struck at my beliefs and dreams. I sighed as I looked down at my empty coffee cup and bread plate full of crumbs. It was almost about to be 9 pm and I had to get ready for work the next morning so I stood and threw away my trash.

I headed back to my booth and as I stood to take my jacket a bell rung signaling someone came inside the shop. I turned to look and I made eye contact with the stranger. He had dirty blonde hair and had very big red noticeable wings on his back. He looked like he rushed here.

I turned back around and took my jacket but a soft gloved hand slammed softly onto the booth table. "Excuse me?" I asked as it was the same stranger from before. "I'm so sorry I made it late! You're (y/n)? We were scheduled for 8:30?" He said trying to catch his breath. I was surprised such a man like him matched with me but I nodded.

"Yeah we were. I'm sorry but can we meet another time? I have to wake up early for work tomorrow " I said with a forgiving smile. I turned to leave and he quickly ran over to me and opened the door for me.

"Wait! I really want to have this date with you. I'll make it up to you! Can I buy you dinner?" He asked as I stepped out of the shop and slid my jacket on since it was a little chilly but not too much.

The sky looked really pretty, a nice gradient from dark purple to a red orange. "You know what? Sure. I'm quite hungry" I said admitting I haven't eaten anything the whole day except for that bread.

"Thank you! Okay do you wanna fly over there or walk?" He asked with a smile. I rose an eyebrow and questioned him. "Fly? What do you mean by that?" I asked. His smile grew even more as he stepped back a little and cleared his throat.

He then rose his red mighty wings as big as he could and flattered them in front of me. I was so amazed that I stepped a little closer to see them better. "These feathers are so red that's really cool!" I took my hand and rubbed one.

He gasped at the sudden contact and I pulled my hand back and apologized immediately. "D-don't worry! It's just that I can..feel the sensation" his ears were a bit red but I didn't know if it was because of the weather.

"I would love to fly but I'm actually scared of heights" I admitted as I looked down at my feet in embarrassment. He stepped forward and smiled. "It's okay (y/n). I haven't dropped anyone yet so Cmon!" He said encouragingly.

I looked over at my car and sighed. 'Fuck it this is a one time opportunity so might as well do it. I'll just ask (f/n) to come get the car later'. I slid my phone on my pockets and gripped my jacket tightly.

"S-so how are we going to fly?" I asked shyly. He jumped a little at my agreement to flying but composed himself back. "I'll carry you. I won't touch you inappropriately, I promise " he said. His words made my heart flutter at how careful he was being with me.

I nodded as he then pulled his arm underneath my back and the other one on the backs of my knees. "Hold on tightly around my neck. If you're scared, just press your head against my neck" he said with a toothy grin. I nodded. I didn't feel like saying anything because if I did, a sob will come out.

"Okay, little feather..here we..go!" He shouted as I felt my weight being lifted away really high. My arms around his neck tightened as I looked at the sky. It wasn't so bad, I thought. I looked down at the many buildings and houses and my eyes shot wide open in fear.

"Oh fuck! Oh fuck! This is way too fucking high!" I exclaimed as the man I was being carried by only began to hum quietly at me. I turned to look up at him and he looked back down. He gave me a smile and went back to look at the sky.

My heart was jumping out of fear and out of love? I shoved my head in his neck like he said and inhaled his scent. He smelled like vanilla with a hint of cinnamon. My body began to relax at the smells and my fear began to go away. He continued to hum a soft melody before we reached our destination.

"Here we are. Best Korean bbq in town. Well, how was the flight?" He asked as his feet glided softly against the pavement and made his stop. I looked up at him and only mumbled incoherent words.

He let me back on my feet but the second I was off, I fell down on my knees. "(Y/n)?! Are you okay?" He asked as he hurriedly came to my side. I smiled and shook my head. I took his reaching hand and stood up by him holding onto my back.

"I-I'm okay. Just a little shooken up a bit" I admitted making him chuckle slightly. "Well, let's get you some food to freshen you up" I clung to his arm as we entered the restaurant and ordered a booth.

-time skip-

The date went so well I was convinced this was all just some dream I was having during my bathroom break at work. I found out his name is actually keigo but his hero name is hawks. He is also a top pro hero but somehow I didn't recognize him.

He's actually really fun to be around with. He jokes about literally anything that he can come up with and is really nice to waiters and waitresses. That's a big plus. He's respectful and really patient with me, and anyone he's around with.

I'm still in shock as to how a man like this was able to match with a guy like me? No redeeming qualities? A sidekick not a lot of people know of? Office job? Not as exciting as it sounds.

The night was coming to an end and I pulled out my wallet to pay for the meal we just ate but keigo stretched out his hand and shook his head. "It's on me remember?" He said as he slipped out his own wallet. "O-oh! But I'll pay for my order since it's more pricey" I said and he shook his head again.

"I insist" he said with a hand on where his heart is supposed to be located at. I smiled a little and placed my hand just like he did on my own chest. "But I insist keigo" he knew I was going to keep going to he stood up abruptly and took the receipt from my hands. "Too bad cause I'm already paying!" He said playfully with a smile as he began to walk away.

"God damn it!" I said as I sat against the booth and looked at our table. There was a red feather on the table and I picked it up with my hand. His feathers were remotely really big and their pigment is really strong.

I kept observing it and sighed. "I'm finding more reasons to like you, keigo" I admitted but then the feather in my hand moved a little. I looked at it closely and shrugged my shoulders. "I know for sure you wouldn't fall for a guy like me though but it was fun while it lasted" I said as I placed it back down and cleaned up the table as much as I could to help the waiters and waitresses a little bit.

A few minutes passed and keigo came back and cleared his throat. "May I take you to your place?" He asked and I nodded. We walked out of the restaurant and sighed.

"I'll fly a little low because we just ate and I don't want you getting sick on me" keigo said making me chuckle and nod. "Thanks for that keigo" we then flew back up at the dark night and I mustered the courage to look down at the many lights and advertising on billboards as well.

"Holy shit it's you!" I shouted as I pointed down at an advertisement for male hair shampoo. It was a scene where keigo was showering with the shampoo but his upper half was exposed. I blushed when his uncovered chest came up and looked to the side.

"W-woah. Didn't know they were going to show that to the public!" He nervously laughed making my stomach feel all kinds of things, and not because of the food.

-time skip-

We made it to my place and keigo held onto me before I could fall like last time. He walked me over to my door and I turned around with a saddened smile. "Thanks for today keigo. I had a really great time with you then I did the first half of this day" I looked down at my feet as he let go of me since I can stand now.

"I'm happy we got to spend this night together" I said shyly. He then took a step forward and looked up at me. "(Y/n), why do you sound so sad? I had a blast with you and can't wait to do this again!" He said placing a hand on his waist.

I looked up at him and was shocked. "Wait, you want to see me again?" I asked not believing as to what I'm hearing. "W-well yeah. I mean I really like you and I didn't know spending this time with you made me really happy once in a while " he said scratching the back of his neck nervously.

I couldn't believe it. Keigo wants to hang out with me again? He actually likes spending time with me? I felt so happy and so warm that I stepped forward and brought my lips onto his on a soft but passionate kiss.

Keigo was taken by surprise as he didn't know what to do. This was his first kiss even though he's over 20 already. He shakily placed his one hand on my waist and the other on the back of my neck. He tilted my head back as he kissed back as equally as me.

I was getting so excited that I almost forgot to breathe. I pulled away and gasped for air and keigo did as well. We looked at each other and laughed at how our faces were so flushed and a little sweaty from nervousness.

"I'm glad we share the same feelings keigo" I said making him blush and place his gloved hand on the top of my head and patted it lightly. "Me too, little feather"

"Well, goodnight and I hope to see you again soon" I said as I unlocked my front door and walked in. I was about to close my door behind me but keigo held it open slightly. "I-I didn't get y-your number!" He said as he nervously took out his phone with his shaky hands.

I blushed and quickly typed my name and number in and then looked around. I quickly gave him another kiss and he had such a love struck look as he waved me goodbye and walked away a little.

He then kneeled a little bit and then his wings fluttered wide open and he took off to the dark night. I closed my door and felt all kinds of things. I felt those damn butterflies all over in my stomach. I quickly took out my phone and dialed (f/n) to give her all the details and to thank her, and also to ask her to get my car before it gets towed.
