"Christmas Plans"

🌸DEC. 22🌸

"Hideaki, who's next on our list?" [____] walked out of a Victoria's Secret shop, holding on to two of the franchise's small bags in one hand, and her freshly used debit card with the other.

The young butler, who rarely dressed in everyday clothes such as on that particular day, bowed his head once to greet her out of the low-dimmed store. It was where he had been patiently waiting for the girl to finish buying a present for her friend, Mina on a cloudy Sunday morning.

She used her portal quirk to send the bags safely into the butler's personal car for a much easier way to carry out, just as the guy pulled out the slip of notebook paper that [____] had given him earlier and he cleared his throat.

"Miss [____], if you already have all of the items needed for Miss Ashido's gift basket, then next on your very special list is a friend named Midoriya, Izuku."

"Izuku is next. Got it!" [____]'s expression became a little more serious as she was determined to scan around the mall for a place to shop.

After a few seconds of that, though, she lost her ability to focus when she remembered that she had never bought Christmas presents for any boys before.

[____] freaked out. 'Hideaki, what would Izuku like?!'

"That is a good question, Miss [____]. I do not know." Kaito replied with a smile. "I don't believe I've had the pleasure to meet Mister Midoriya, yet."

"True...Izuku and I were friends way before my mom hired you, Hideaki. He used to hang around Katsuki a lot, that's the only reason I know the both of them. Actually...We kind of just knew each other back then but not really? Then again, we don't spend much time together even now...."

'Which is why I'm having a hard time thinking of a good gift for him! There was a reason why he was semi-last on my list!!'

"I sense that Mister Midoriya is a really important friend to you, Miss [____]. If I may advice, why not skip this person until you have the rest of your family and friends' gifts settled, then? I wouldn't want you to over stress yourself. Clear your mind before deciding what to buy." The butler suggested.

[____] let out a sigh. "I guess you're right...Holiday shopping can really suck if I overthink it, huh? Let's see...Who's next after Izuku?"

"Mister Bakugo."

[____] bit her bottom lip for a second. "So!! Izuku it is!! Come on!"

🌸🌸🌸🌸

'Nothing...I can't find anything that shouts 'Amacchan, thank you!' in here....'

Minutes of looking into the clothing aisles of a skate shop, [____] gave up and frowned at her worker. "Hideaki...Waaah, I need help..."

"Is there truly nothing in here that sparks your interest?" He subtly eyed the pieces of clothing she kept on her hand.

"Mine? Hehe...Maybe...I saw some cute jackets, but...I'm not really in here for me so I won't buy them! I—"

"Oh? Amachi, is that you??" A familiar voice called her over. It belonged to one of her classmates, obviously.

[____] turned back to see Uraraka Ochako and Asui Tsuyu standing near the checkout area. "You shop in stores like these too, kero?"

"Uraraka...Asui...Nice seeing you, and not usually." As she admitted, she opened a small portal to stick her hand in and place the jackets back into their proper clothing rods, carefully. "I came here just to browse around for holiday gifts and you guys are— Eh?"

A slightly heavy hand rested on her shoulder. Tenya Iida was standing behind her, with a stern look on his face. "As class representative, it is my duty to remind the students in 1A, or anyone in the hero course for that matter, to not use their quirks outside school grounds!

It can be potentially dangerous and villains will take note of it if you are over exposing yourself like you are doing now. Also, you are all alone, which makes matters worse—!!"

"Iida! It's fine, it's fine!" Uraraka tried to make her friend relax with a laugh. "Amachi isn't alone, she's here with her boyfriend, isn't she?"

[____] perked up after listening to the cursed word. "Boyfriend...? Ah, no! You mean him?! He's not my—!!"

"It is my pleasure to meet all of you. My name is Kaito Hideaki and I am Miss [____]'s loyal servant—"

"— He means butler!! Ahahaha!! Isn't he funny?! Don't know why he'd say that but he's not mine, at all! He's my mother's!! Uu, that sounds ever weirder.

He's my mother's worker, not a servant at all! He has regular days off just like any other daytime job & he gets bonuses and paid lunch breaks too! Isn't that right, Hideaki?!"

"Miss [____]. Pardon me for using such intense words to describe our relationship."

"Wow, he definitely sounds like a butler, kero."

As [____] forced another laugh onto the group to make the rest forget about it, Ochako practically gasped at the news of her classmate having a butler in general. "Wow, [____], you are super rich! Does he follow you around and do as you say, too?!"

"Of course he does, that's sort of his job..." [____] sighed, letting go of the fact that she had already embarrassed herself enough for one day. "Besides that...Ochako, Asui, Iida...I'm glad to bump into you guys. You three are Izuku's closest friends, aren't you?"

🌸🌸🌸🌸

"Izuku's name! Hideaki, cross it out for me!!" [____] happily asked as she carried the bag out of the store and into another one of her portals. "I haven't realized just how handy my quirk can be, I hope it doesn't make me lazy..."

"Certainly, Miss [____]. Do not worry, I will set a reminder for our florist to prepare a special gift basket for each of the friends who helped you today." Kaito said as he checked off her friend's name with a purple colored permanent marker. "Next on your list is Mister Bakugo."

[____] froze up. "Suki is next..? I know I should be even more excited about him, but then..."

'I feel like...I'm stressing out, all of a sudden...'

🌸🌸later that night🌸🌸

"WHAT?! What do you mean you guys are not coming over for Christmas time?!" Even though she was in her bedroom and the doors were closed, [____]'s voice echoed her entire home after dinner.

A pair of maids that were dusting off the living room area from the bottom floor stopped doing their duties for half a second thanks to the girl's whining. "Dad! You two said you would be here before the 25th! Am I supposed to spend it alone—?!"

"I know what we said, honey; but your mother's career is on the line if we don't do this..." Manato Amachi waved his hand at the screen, trying to calm his only daughter down through the FaceTime call.

A call he had to make, after to losing a flip coin battle with his wife to figure out which one of them had to be the 'bad parent' in this scenario.

"So it's mom's fault that I'm going to be alone for Christmas..."

"Exactly— I mean!! No! It's not her fault, darling!! We have to be more understanding, you see? She's in a predicament right now; this new company requires her to attend a week-long holiday shoot and if she doesn't do this, well...

Let's just say mommy will have a bad reputation in this business and she won't be able to land high-end jobs for a while, hehe..."

As Manato struggled to explain how showbiz could work to his teenage daughter, [____] bit the inside of her cheek, irritated by the lack of physical comfort her parents had ever given her.

It wasn't just during the holidays when her mother's work had to get in the way of important family events. It was during [____]'s elementary graduation in Belgium, her middle school play in Argentina and not to mention the many different themed birthday parties that her mother planned but never attended.

Either because Himeko Amachi was always busy and her schedule would get the best of her, or she was simply just too tired to continue on with the festive activities and would rather head to bed and leave everything in the hands of her husband and/or her handy set of different maids and butlers.

Her father worked hard, too. Though he would always be off during certain holidays and even then, he worked in the family's business which obviously meant— he could leave as early as he wanted to as long as he got his work done first. Time was hardly an issue for Manato; it was just his role as Himeko's assistant manager that kept him away from his kid for the most part.

All of these memories, every single one. [____] remembered it all. Although, she was never the type to hold grudges against others, especially when she knew how demanding her mother's line of work could be.

Instead, a younger version of [____] held on those feelings; she kept them close and locked away from her hardworking parents. Up until that day, after she had counted the days to reunite with her parents again before Christmas time. [____] had enough.

"Now, honey, lets not forget that wherever you are, we are always with—"

"— With me. Yeah, I know dad." She repeated the words her parents used to tell her each time they were separated by certain events. She tried to smile but wasn't sure if it was even possible. "Thanks for letting me know. I'll figure out what else I could do this year for Christmas..."

"[____], we love you."

"I love you guys, too."

"There will be plenty of more Christmases. Trust me, next year will make up for this one. We can go back to LA. Or any other country you'd like to go to besides USA? We can rent a vacation home and drink hot chocolate together. I'd buy you all the—"

"Dad. It's okay." [____] shook her head. "Trust me, I'm fine...But I have to go to bed now, I still have another week of school before winter break...So take care, alright?"

"[____]..." Manato grew tears from his eyes; the thought of his little princess growing up and him not being able to stop her from it was already making him want to brawl like a kid. "Goodnight to you, sweetheart. We love you so so so much."

"Goodnight, dad."

"[____], whatever you decide to do for the rest of your life PLEASE DON'T START THINKING ABOUT BOYS—"

[____] couldn't of pressed 'end call' at the rightest time, on accident. "Oops...I probably should text him and apologize for that...But something is telling me he'll cry even more if I do..."

'I can't think of what to do all alone on Christmas Eve...Should I try to ask one of my friends for advice?'

🌸DEC. 23rd🌸

"Eh? Christmas Eve?" Ashido's smile faded little by little as she questioned the reason behind [____]'s serious tone.

They were waiting on the train stop for the rest of their group, the boys had visited a coffee shop nearby to buy pastries for each other; [____] built up enough courage to ask Mina about her plans to see if she could somehow fit herself into them.

"Well...My entire family and I visit a specific restaurant each year...Kind of like a tradition? Why are you asking, [____]-chan?"

'Tradition...I can't meddle in that!' [____] shook her head; mentally crossing Mina out of her list.

"Uh, no reason! I was just wondering, that's all..."

"Well, what does your family do?"

"We don't really have a set thing, yet...I guess it all depends on what my mom wants to do each year? It varies..."

"I see..." Mina nodded a few times, trying to think of a way to lighten up the mood when she heard the guys' voices coming from behind them. "Oh, they're here again! I wonder what type of pastry they chose for us?!"

"I can't believe they didn't let us pick for ourselves..." [____] recalled having a small stare down with their group leader after he decided that girls had no say in what they would eat when he was going to pay for it. "I could of paid for us, too..."

"[____], don't sweat it. I'm sure the guys just wanted to spoil us or something. We are the cutest girls in our group!"

"We're the only girls..." [____] reminded her friend.

'And yet, somehow, I feel like the cutest one in this whole group is Katsuki...'

She eyed her team leader, who was the only person not holding anything as they walked closer to them. Kirishima had two brown paper bags, Sero held on to a tray of hot drinks and Kaminari had the other two paper cups on his hands.

"What are you staring at, freak?" Katsuki made [____] snap out of her daydreaming phase as soon as he opened his mouth. "Close your mouth already, would 'ya?"

"My mouth was not open!" She defended herself.

"Yeah it was— You see me and your jaw drops to the fucking floor, don't lie." He gave her a smile, which was a clear sign that he was just messing around with her on purpose.

"It's going to be winter break soon and we're not gonna see much of each other, Katsuki...Wouldn't it be nice if we don't do this in front of our friends, anymore?" [____] genuinely wondered. "I want us to be nicer to each other—"

"I'm already nice enough, so don't push it."

"D-Don't interrupt me, please." She took a step back, feeling a little nervous as she requested.

"Well, don't be saying stupid shit." He took a step forward, purposely trying to corner her somewhere.

They were, after all, standing close to a brick wall. However, Kaminari unknowingly broke off their conversation to hand [____] her pastry. "[____], look at it. Doesn't it look yummies nummies??"

"What..?"

"Get the hell out of here, dunce face!"

"We had to let him go, you two were acting like a couple again." Kirishima only shrugged when his best friend looked at him for an explanation. "Gotta say, dude...You two completely forget we are here sometimes and just go at it."

'Go at it...?' [____] thought about what that could mean.

"Kiri, do we argue a lot, you mean?" She took the pink frosted pastry from Denki's hands to take a small bite out of it.

'It's so good...'

Eijiro shook his head once. "Nah, not argue. You can call it flirting, I guess. You two do it a lot as if we don't exist. [____] is on to something, bro. It's gonna be a new year after winter break...

You guys should settle all this sexual tension already. You're gonna make the rest of us feel uncomfortable if it continues."

"I-It's nothing like that, though!!"

"Gross, I'm not sexually attracted to this one." Bakugo crossed his arms, denying everything he could think of [____]. "I don't care if we don't see each other for a week; a freak like her will remain a freak during the new year and fuck what the rest of you think. You all have to learn to shut the hell up and mind your business."

"Jeez, so bossy."

"Super bossy." Sero agreed with Kirishima.

"Super duper bossy." Mina nodded. "But super duper hot!"

"Extremely hot— I mean, bossy!!" Kaminari wasn't thinking much, he just wanted to be a part of whatever was happening at the moment. "Extremely bossy!! You guys know that's what I meant, right?!"

While the rest were distracted by laughing at the guy; Bakugo looked down at [____], who was taking another bite of her food. "Do you like it?"

"Ah?" She looked at it one more time. "I do...It has a raspberry and cream filling inside...It's so sweet and delicious. Thanks for buying this."

"I picked it just for you, fat cheeks."

[____]'s heart might of skipped a beat in that moment. 'So sweet...Katsuki can be so sweet, sometimes...'

He waited for her reply but after a few seconds passed by, he decided that seeing her flushed expression was enough to thank him. He sighed. "I gotta go calm those idiots down before we go inside the train....So, see you."

'When we're alone, he doesn't call me anything...When we're alone, he's much nicer and that's why I don't care for his insults anymore.

Katsuki...I wanna ask you...What if...We spend Christmas Eve together? Would that be okay?'

🌸💥🌸💥

During lunchtime, Midoriya excitedly rushed to Bakugo's table to say hi to his childhood friends and give each of them a small gift. "Amacchan, Kacchan! What are you two doing for Christmas?"

"Who invited you here, nerd?! LEAVE!!" The leader of the group didn't greet him very kindly, fortunately the rest did, including [____].

"Izuku, hi! And I'm not sure yet; personally...You are?"

"I'm having dinner with my mom and then I'm going to attend this event where you give donated gifts to the less fortunate kids around the district. It's something like—"

"What the hell is this shit?!" Bakugo stared disgustingly at the Christmas card that was placed in front of him since he wouldn't take it from Midoriya's hands.

"It's a Christmas card. My mom got one for each of you guys, she said she's glad you're back in Tokyo, Amacchan. She hopes to see you again soon!"

"Your mom did...?" [____] smiled at the thought of being remembered by Izuku's mother. Inko only knew the Amachi family for less than a month, but she was always grateful to have little [____] play with little Izuku and Katsuki. She used to babysit them from time to time, after class.

"So this comes from Aunty, huh." Upon hearing the word 'aunty' fall out of Bakugo's mouth, the rest of his friends looked like they've seen a ghost. "...What? What the hell are you all looking at me for?!"

"Bakugo...Did you just call Midoriya's mom your aunt..?" Hanta asked out loud.

"Huh?! No, I fucking didn't!"

Kirishima was the only one not surprised by this, since he had heard it before a couple of times already. He sipped on his drink before saying: "Yeah, he did. He sees Midoriya's mother as family."

"Which means you see him as your cousin?" Mina tried to irritate him, which was absolutely working.

"No, I don't see this shit nerd as anything!! Fuck, I regret meeting all of you right now!!"

"Relax, Bakubabe. I'll get you some orange soda if you forgive me for bringing it up!" The short haired girl stood up, ready to go for a drink run to the vending machines. "Anyone else wants something else?"

Kirishima raised his hand as if he was in class and about to ask a question. "Ashido; me! Can you get me something too? I don't care what it is as long as it's manly!"

"Izuku...Your mom and you...Would you say the dinner she prepares each year is like a tradition in your family...?" [____] asked him personally as the other guys talked over each other.

Izuku only blushed because he felt as if [____] was trying to have a staring contest. "Wha— Hah..Umm...I-I w-wouldn't say tr-tradition...But I guess-ss so???"

"My sweet angel, why are you so interested in what others are doing for Christmas?" Kaminari finally asked since he had also overheard [____] talk about it with Kirishima, earlier. "Are you gonna be doing anything with your parents?"

"No reason! I, uh...I guess I've been feeling really curious lately? Ahahah..." [____] was tired of lying about it; she thought that right then would be a good time to say what's been on her mind all day. "Alright, the truth...It's just that..We were supposed celebrate it together, but turns out that my mom has to stay another week in Venice for a holiday shoot..."

"So you'll be spending it alone? What about your weird butler or your maids?" Sero invested himself into the conversation.

[____] shook her head. "A lot of them were scheduled to be off and...Hideaki asked me if I wanted him to stay behind but I haven't given him an answer just yet. I guess I am waiting for someon—"

"You're an idiot." Bakugo, with his arms crossed, interrupted her yet again to throw in his two cents. "You're what? Waiting for someone to just forget about their plans and ditch their families to be with you?

So your old folks couldn't make it. Big deal. Your perverted dog wants to stay behind and isn't that what you want? To spend it with someone? You could of asked more of your workers to stay, also. You're just making it worse for yourself, you're not alone, quit whining as if you are."

"Dude..." Sero was the only one courageous enough to disagree with him. "Enough."

"Uh, it's alright!" [____] laughed it off. "He's right, it's not really a big deal. I can distract myself just fine, so like...I don't wanna interrupt others' plans at all. Rather, I was just wondering if someone would...? Um...what's the word? Uhh..."

'Get it together, [____]! Don't cry in front of them!!' She told herself.

"I was just...I was hoping someone would..."

'But he's right...I don't have to be alone at all. I could ask Hideaki to stay if I wanted to...I guess I'm mostly upset about my parents, again...'

"I-Invite..."

'He still didn't have to be so mean about it...'

"S-Someone like me...over...Sorry." Her voice was trembling.

[____] hadn't noticed just how watery her eyes have gotten. If she hadn't gone up and rushed to the restroom on her own, she would of cried in front of her friends for no good reason.

💥💥💥💥

"Amacchan!! Wait up!" Izuku tried to run after her, though it was no use after he realized what direction she was going to. "I hope she's okay..."

"She'll be fine. She's just a crybaby." Bakugo stated. "She'll get over it soon enough."

"Yeah, but that still doesn't mean you had to be a fucking dick, dude. Her feelings are still valid. Think about them, for a change."

Hanta was speaking clearly, but all Katsuki could hear was nonsense. "What did you say, soy sauce?! Can't focus on your words when they're coming from your plain looking ass face."

"Ei, tell your boy he's cancelled for making [____] cry." Sero, instead, gave the right to scold their team leader to his best friend, who was in the middle of finishing up Bakugo's food while he wasn't looking.

"What the fuck?!"

"Bakugo, you're cancelled." Kirishima even licked his fingers after he devoured the entire plate of spicy ramen without stopping to fan his mouth. "Holy shit, dude. This is hot...Where's Ashido, with our drinks?!"

"Stop eating my food, shitty hair!! This is the fourth time this month!! Also, what the fuck do you mean I'm cancelled?! You're all idiots, I swear."

"Kacchan, when do you think Amacchan will leave the rest room?" Izuku even sat on her spot and got comfortable to ask.

"Fuck's should I know?! LEAVE THIS TABLE, DEKU!!"

"Guys...I feel bad that [____] wont spend Christmas time with her parents, this year..." Kaminari brought the subject back up for his own opinion on it. "I mean, if only there was something we could all do to make her believe in Santa again."

"Santa? What the heck? Were you even listening to what she was saying?" Kirishima had to laugh before taking Denki's words at heart. "She just wants to spend Christmas time with somebody she knows."

"Christmas time is fucking stupid. Why even celebrate it? Honestly." Bakugo scoffed at everybody sitting on that table.

Each of the guys reluctantly agreed.

🎄DEC. 24🎄

'My parents would of been home by now...I wonder if I should give them a call? I'm still kind of upset...'

The time was 5:30 pm, and [____] was sitting on the main living room's couch, saying goodbye to each of her house workers that walked out of her home and wished her a good night.

"Only one left..." She was counting them, so far four maids and two security guards had left. [____] looked briefly at the TV screen that was playing a couple of American Christmas movies on an English channel.

She then looked back at the young butler, who was wearing his uniform and smiling with his eyes closed as he stood behind the couch, waiting for a task. "Miss [____], what kind of butler would I be if I leave you all alone during Christmas Eve?"

"I don't know...I feel bad, seeing you like this...You could at least wear something more comfortable. I won't be going anywhere tonight, so you can relax too."

"If that is what you want, then please excuse me as I head to my room to change." Kaito bowed his head once and left her alone for more than ten minutes.

Within those ten minutes, though; hard knocks on her front door were heard and [____] immediately freaked out. "W-Who is it?! Hello?!"

'I should probably wait for Hideaki to come downstairs and answer...But then, if it's a mugger, he'd definitely get hurt! I don't think he knows how to fight! I've never seen it...?'

More hard knocks, this time it sounded as if the person behind was trying to kick the door down.

[____] grabbed her cell phone and the nearest tool she could find in her fireplace. "No one is home, I'm sorry!!"

💥❤️⚡️🖤

"....Did she just say no one was home?" Sero whispered to his friends as they all stood outside the Amachi residence wearing Santa outfits(that Kaminari graciously purchased) and holding on to sacks of fake presents.

"Yeah, she's fucking stupid." Bakugo touched the bridge of his nose to show his friends just how much of a headache he was getting from going along with the scheme. "Let's get out of here, she's—"

"Yo! Amachi! It's just us!" Kirishima had the bright idea to yell it out. "Guys, why didn't we just text her and asked her to look outside?"

"Maybe 'cause we are fucking stupid as well." Hanta chuckled. "We don't do so well coming up with plans like these in such a short notice...If only Ashido could of helped us this time and shown up...."

"Open the door, my angel! It's us, Santa!!" Kaminari shouted.

"Why did this one show up, again?" Katsuki basically hissed at the golden-haired guy. "One idiot is enough already, fat cheeks would of been fine without any competition tonight."

The door slowly began to open up, and it caused all of them to zip their lips. [____] dropped the fireplace pitchfork to cover her mouth at their outfits. "Katsuki!! Kirishima..Kaminari and Sero?"

To be continued...
