The family stopped in every store at the mall. Himeko would always find something to buy, even if it wasn't what she needed.

"Oh, baby, look!" She gasped at a pink toilet that she saw on display. "It's so pretty! I'll take it!"

"But, Hime-chan, we already have toilets in our bathrooms..." Manato wasn't trying to talk her out of it, but he really didn't see a point in buying it.

"Yeah...But they're not pink! Look at it, [____]-chan! What do you think?!"

[____] gladly supported her father on this, "We don't need it."

Himeko felt almost heartbroken at her response. "How is it that you are my daughter if you don't find this toilet pretty?!"

"It's not like I find it ugly, mom...It's just not needed..I—" [____] stayed quiet as she watched her mother ignore her and pull out her credit card to buy it anyway. "I'm going to the restroom.."

"Do you want daddy to tag along?!"

"NO." She walked past her father and hoped he wouldn't follow after her.

"Ah...It feels so good to be by myself..." [____] loved her parents, but growing up she didn't have permission to go out on her own so she felt very suffocated by them sometimes.

Now that she had turned fifteen and it was decided she was going to stay in Japan, it felt good to know she was going to have some time to breathe and not live with constant headaches from flashing cameras or traveling.

She used the restroom and quietly walked around the mall, not intending to catch up with her parents for the most part.

'It's been so long since I came here...It looks a lot more modern now...'

Small recollections of memories moved in her mind, she would come to the same mall with her parents to do the same things...

She looked around, noticing that there were a lot of people her age hanging around in groups, meaning they were friends.

'Is this what you do when you have friends?' She wondered, staring at some of them for a few seconds.

The girls looked so happy and confident, laughing and chatting with guys.

She had trouble speaking with anyone other than her family or people employed by her family.

She continued to walk on her own. Occasionally closing her eyes to listen to all the people around her, talking. Conversations everywhere, none of them made sense to her but she enjoyed listening even if it was for a second.

It felt peaceful.

Then, a certain group of friends caught her attention.

"Hey!! You can't be kicking the soda machine too hard, it's not going to work if you do it like that!!"

"Shut up! This piece of shit ate my money!"

"What if a guard catches us? Should we run for it?"

"You do whatever you want. I'm not leaving until I get what I paid for."

[____] looked at the three guys, one of them was kicking a vending machine, the other two were looking around to see if they were being watched.

"Oi, Katsuki! Just leave it."

[____] eyes widened. The more she stared at the blond guy's back, the more she remembered his name and his temper.

'Is he...The same guy from elementary? The one who tried hitting me...That time...'

The more she thought about it, she also remembered the other kid, who was trying to help her all along.

"That's...Katsuki..."

"Hey! Just leave the machine alone, already!" His friends were getting nervous by the seconds. "We can't get in anymore trouble, our parents will ground us."

"Like I told you, you can leave if you want to! I'm not forcing you to stick around! But I payed for my orange soda so I'm getting it!!" When he turned around to yell at them, [____] recognized his face perfectly.

Red, angry eyes and thin furrowed eyebrows. That's the guy who bullied her for the first time.

The day she got her quirk.

In a way, [____] blamed him for her family moving. She heard her parents arguing a lot after the school notified them about Izuku's injuries and how they thought it was an act on bullying. [____] never told any adult who it was who hurt Izuku, but it was only because he made her promise not to tell anyone.

I'm an attempt to talk about that day, [____] walked straight towards the guys and held on to her coin purse.

"Katsuki! Huh—-?" The friends noticed her immediately, she felt them staring at her but she remained still.

"Stupid machine—!!" Katsuki was kneeling, trying to shake it since kicking wasn't working. He didn't look at [____] until she put in some yen inside of it and pressed the button for orange soda.

The machine magically worked again and dropped the item. She grabbed it, then locked eye contact with the blond guy. "Here. Take it."

Katsuki stayed still.

She heard one of his friends whisper "oh shit" before they took some steps back from the two.

'W-What did I do?! Isn't this what he wanted?!'

"I don't need your help, get lost." Katsuki finally answered and it wasn't the kind of reply she was expecting, so she remained frozen.

With her arm still stretched out, the drink remained in her hand. "Ah...?"

"I'm bored, let's get out of here." He sighed, giving up on his quest to get a drink and ordering his friends to follow him.

"What a weird girl..." She heard the other guys talk among themselves.

"Yeah, she just walked straight up to us, like if we know her."

"Eh...?" She placed her arm down. Confused by the whole situation.

'But they do know me!! Don't they remember?! And what sort of person doesn't take a drink someone bought for them?! He was there, it's not like I opened it and put something in it!!'

She cursed at herself for even trying to buy a guy something. What was she trying to do?

"I just wanted to talk about that day...I guess..." she put the cold drink inside her purse, along with her coin wallet and slowly walked straight ahead.

"Why didn't you take the drink, Katsuki?" One of his friends asked as they walked inside the arcade. "That was what you wanted, right?"

"She was pretty cute, too..." the other began to fantasize, "I would of taken it, and her number."

"Was that what it was? Was she trying to hit on you??"

"She must be stupid to try to hit on a guy first, especially if that guy is Bakugo!!"

They started laughing while their leader found a game he wanted to waste money on. "I don't care who she was or what she was trying to do, girls are annoying."

"If you say that enough times people are going to start thinking you like guys."

"Like I give a shit what people think."

"That's true..."

A few moments later, [____]'s phone began to ring over and over. Meaning her father was worried about her whereabouts.

"Well, it was interesting talking to someone, at least..." Even if he was rude, she was pretty hopeful to see Katsuki again. "I wonder if Izuku is also still living around here..."

She caught up with her parents and they continued their family date until it was time to go home.

They shopped, ate some fast food and watched a movie together. It was a good night for the three of them, it went smooth since nobody recognized Himeko with her hat and sunglasses on.

As soon as they got home, [____] was heading towards her bedroom but was stopped by a certain conversation her father was having on the phone while her mother wasn't around.

"Hello? Oh, Masaru! You got my voicemail! Was that...? Dinner at your place sounds great! You bet your ass I'll be there!!"

[____] remembered who her father's best friend was.

Knowing she'll see Katsuki again, and knowing her father's love and inability to say no to her, she waited for him to hang up his phone and asked if she could tag along.
