"Mom...When am I going to get my quirk?"

The question caught the pretty silverette off guard and she accidentally spilled hot coffee on her beloved husband's shirt. "Oh, honey! I'm so sorry!"

It was another unusual morning for them to spend breakfast together, [____] was aware of her mother's fixed schedule and her father was dreading to head to work soon.

Family time wasn't meant to be stressful.

"[____], you're too young to be thinking of all that." Her father tried to explain, "You'll get it when you get it. There's still more time."

"And if there isn't, Mommy can land you a nice job modeling!"

"But I don't wanna model."

Once again, the words surprised her mother to the point where she pretended to almost faint. "What!! Why not?! You're my daughter, aren't you?!"

"Amachi-sama," one of the many nannies the family goes through appeared behind them and bowed to her parents. "If I may interrupt, its time to take her to school."

"Goodbye, my sweetie!! Have a fun day and remember!! Papa loves you!" Her father sent kisses her way as [____] silently followed her babysitter to the car.

"I hear you wanna challenge me?! I am the grrrreat great GREAT hero of all time!! I stand for the people and will protect them at all costs! I am AAAAALLL MIIIIGHTT!!" Izuku played with his action figures right in front of [____] during lunch time.

For the past two or three days, he had been hanging out with her in fear that Kacchan would try to torment her again.

He liked Kacchan but he also didn't want his new friend to feel afraid, being by herself.

It's not like Katsuki cared wether the quirkless kid wanted to hang out with him or not, he was fine being with his posse of strong kids who followed him around. Though he did notice Deku being friendly to his new challenger.

"Hey...Have you gotten lost or something?" [____] asked Izuku as he took a sip of his juice box and went back to imitating All Might's victory speech.

"W-What do you mean?"

"You've been hanging around with me a lot these past few days...Do you really think I'm scared of your friend?"

The green haired kid shyly shook his head. "It's not that you're scared of Kacchan...It's more like, in case he does something I want to protect you, Amacchan."

[____] remained silent but blushed a little. No one had ever said they wanted to protect her, she hasn't even heard those words coming out of her parents!

Before she could say anything to thank Izuku, a familiar voice creeped upon them. "Hey, guys! Look! Deku found a new friend and she's just like him!"

[____] didn't have to turn around to see who was the one making her new friend get all jittery with just words.

"K-Kacchan..."

"She's quirkless and weak!"

[____] wasn't offended by his comment, but she was furrowing her eyes in anger. He just insulted her new friend, Izuku. He claimed he would protect her and in return, she should at least do the same, right?

"Hey...." she got up from her seat. "You need to leave him alone."

In a second, Kacchan's bright red eyes glistened in amusement. He was finally going to give this girl what she's been asking for. "Aha, you wanna fight, fat cheeks?!"

'Fat cheeks?!'

[____] gasped at the rude comment. He really did get on her nerves, what was his problem?

"Let's go!!" She yelled, not expecting a yellow flame to come out of the blonde kid's palms.

The impact didn't hurt her, it went right over her shoulder but she definitely felt the heat. She stood still, she heard all these rumors about his amazing quirk but seeing it in person as he was aiming it at her...just left her gutless.

"Kacchan! Don't hurt her!" Izuku tried to get in between them, but Katsuki wasn't throwing anymore explosions after the first. "Please!"

"Meet me at the park tomorrow after school, you asked for a fight so that's what we're gonna do." He smiled almost devilishly. "If you decide not to come...I'll hurt you so bad that you'll end up in a hospital."

"Amacchan, don't pick a fight with him!" Izuku followed after his classmate on a Tuesday afternoon. She was on her way to the park as soon as school was over. "Kacchan is really strong."

"Even if he is...Its too late to back down." She couldn't challenge someone and then not go...What kind of person would forgive all that? Specifically Katsuki. He would just do something worse.

"Besides...He is really rude to you, and me...He needs to learn how to be kind."

Izuku covered his mouth, afraid that it he'd say anything, someone close to Kacchan would hear it.

"Don't worry, Izuku," [____] smiled earnestly at her new friend, "I'll protect you."

'I wonder...Did I make the right choice by coming here?'

Katsuki was right, she was quirkless. Not only that, but his own power was scary and capable of actually knocking someone out. What she basically had agreed to was for him to hurt her with her consent in mind.

As she began walking slowly to her destination, Izuku ran to catch up and place his hands on her shoulders. "Amacchan! Please don't do it!! Please don't fight Kacchan today! Let's talk to him, instead! Maybe we can come to an agreement—"

"Y-You're right." She nodded immediately, maybe she just needed to hear it one more time to make sure that's what she wanted to do, all along. "I should ask him to back down from it, maybe in exchange of something..."

'But what could Katsuki want from me? I can't think of a thing!'

Izuku smiled at her, "Right. Kacchan will understand!"

They were thinking too much about it they didn't realize they reached the park in a matter of minutes.

Katsuki was there already, laughing about something with his friends but he hadn't notice her, which relieved her.

'I should think of a way to make him change his mind about the fight...I really don't want to hurt anybody or get hurt...'

"U-Um!" She spoke, holding the straps of her backpack tightly. She closed her eyes and bowed before he could insult her. "P-Please forgive me! I do not wish to fight with you, after all! You are stronger than me, and I don't have a quirk, so can't we just try to come up with another way to resolve this?"

Her sudden apology and foolish words surprised Bakugo for a mere second. He smirked, "Ahh? You're backing out of a fight that you started?! You're a stupid girl, you know?!"

[____] sorta knew all along that he wouldn't back down, but to ignore her sincere apology and call her stupid for it? She was surprised.

"I came all the way here for a fight, so a fight is what I'm gonna get." He walked closer to her, punching his palm and letting his quirk get the best of him. "You try to back down?! You, you're even dumber than Deku! At least Deku takes what he gets!! You run your mouth and then try to apologize. I'm not falling for it, I'll burn you!"

"Kacchan! Please! She's not joking about it, she really is sorry!!" [____] noticed one of Katsuki's friends was holding onto Izuku the whole time so he won't get in between them. Even then, he was trying to fix things.

"You shut up, Deku!! This is your fault, too!" He yelled back and signaled his friend to punch him in the stomach.

"L-Let him go..." [____] pleaded. To see her only friend being held back and hurt.... "I-I'll give you my allowance money until I'm old! I'll give you my lunch or do your homework until we graduate, but p-please let him go!!"

"You think I care about your money or food?!" Katsuki was really growing tired with all her talking. "I just want you to fight me!! So stand up and show me what you got!!"

He threw multiple explosions at her, [____] could see them coming closer, they were so fast. She knew she was going to get hurt, yet, she felt a cold rush all over her chest and shoulders that lead to her hands.

Flinching, she stretched her arms, trying to shield herself...That's when everything went blank.
