"I'll see you in class." Shoto unintentionally cut her off, he had to change back into his uniform before homeroom class; so he was in a rush to leave.

'I can't believe I'd say such a thing to him..! What's wrong with me?! Did I accidentally let out some of my period angst to a classmate?!'

[____] could be seen panicking by her two friends after Todoroki was gone.

'No, I can't blame it on that! I've never been mad or anything during these days! I totally just pointed something out and he must feel insecure about it...I'm a bad friend! No! I'm a bad person, in general!!'

"Amacchan, Kacchan...Lets walk to class together." Midoriya was fighting off the will to hug [____] right then and there. Seeing her worry made him feel bad for the girl.

"Izuku..." [____] felt like she could cry after seeing her childhood friend give her a sympathetic smile. "What should I do...?"

"I'm sure Todoroki will accept your apology soon, it's not like he'll ignore you if you're his team partner and you'll be fighting by his side. Oh, uh, and Kacchan's! Both of their sides!"

Bakugo kept his arms crossed, clearly upset that his crush was 'overreacting' to a stupid comment she made, herself. He sighed in annoyance, but wasn't trying to hand over any words of encouragement for [____] to make up with icyhot.

'Izuku is right...This gives me more time to create a proper apology, too...I guess I should calm myself down...'

"Midoriya." For a moment, the three students forgot about the tallest person among them until he spoke up. "Thanks again for the notes...I'll see you around."

"Come on, fat cheeks. Let's ditch them already." Katsuki gestured her to stop looking at the ground and follow him instead. "Don't wanna be late to turn in the worksheets, do you?"

"Katsuki...I already set them by Mr. Aizawa's desk, before getting here...But, yeah. We should get going."

Before [____] could walk away, she intended to say bye to the person she had just met...However, after turning around and seeing that he was uninterestedly listening to Izuku's chatter and nodding every few seconds, she decided it would be best to not bother them.

Instead, she gave both of them a little goodbye wave, despite knowing she was going to see Midoriya soon.

Shinso caught her movements from the corner of his eye; he made sure she was directing them to him and for a short second, their eyes met.

Hers, as always, big and bright. His, small and leadened.

Hitoshi didn't wave back, but he did feel a little nervous as he watched her struggle to catch up to the obnoxious guy in her class.

"I see all of you showed up today. Great choice."

Mr. Aizawa walked to the back of the classroom,  starting the day off with a mini lecture before the exams would start. He counted the faces of each of his students before admitting he was proud of them in his very own way. "I will not fail any of you, this time."

"Hey, bro, can I borrow your pen?" Kaminari thought it was a good idea to ask Kirishima, interrupting their teacher's words.

"Bro, later. Listen to what he has to say, first...." Eijiro tried whispering back, but the entire class had their eyes on them since Mr. Aizawa stopped talking and just glared at Denki.

[____] hid her face from second hand embarrassment, she opened up her notebook and practically inhaled the pages off while feeling as if others were staring at her and not the two loud guys she ended up sitting in between.

"Sorry, teach..." Kaminari smiled, finally apologizing for disrupting class for the ten thousandth time that semester.

"As I was saying." Aizawa cleared his throat. "Mark your planners. Once winter break is finally over, you will be doing mandatory community service.

You may already know it, but just in case you forgot: since you are opting to become heroes. You will need to finish at least 200 hours of services to graduate. Since you are first years, we are only making it a requirement to finish 100 now.

If you do more than that, then great. If not, then... you should." He struggled to sound more uplifting than threatening as he said it.

"Aizawa-sensei! I have a question!!" Ashido was the first person to stand up from her desk and raise her hand, not allowing him to at least nod before she blurted out. "What type of community service are we going to do?!"

"Yeah, I wonder if we'll be working with the pros or not..." — "Will it be like regular high school services?" — "He said something about us getting more hours because we're studying to become heroes..."

Whispers emerged the classroom, and [____] was finally able to put her notebook down and look around her. The expressions her classmates wore were a mix of thrill and daunted.

"Great question, Ashido. Now sit down and wait to be called on to, next time.."

"Yeeees, sir!"

Again, the class quieted down for their teacher to continue. "This all depends on your test scores. Pro agencies will be watching you. Much like the sports festival, they'll be scouting you but not for you power rather how well you work among others.

That is the whole point of the combat exam, this time. I'm hoping at least half of you will end up watching over the districts with the pro heroes. Just in case they don't vouch for you, though, your community services will be up to you.

Teachers will be pinning different sign up sheets next to their classes and you may choose where to volunteer your hours. Choose wisely, though...Because you can only sign up to one."

'Why does he sound so scary when he gives us advice?' [____] thought just as he directed his attention to her.

"Amachi, you received your hero costume this morning. It's located in your locker. Make sure you wear it for today's exam. No gym uniform for anybody in class A."

"Right!" [____] perked up after hearing this.

"Now, on to the basic rules of the combat exam. Before we head over to the arena, you guys will have to walk in a straight line to the..."

"Todoroki! Can we talk, please?!" [____] almost sounded desperate as she rushed to catch up with her classmate before they all headed to the locker rooms to pick up their stuff.

It was apparent that the classes were going to take a school bus to a sports arena for this event; granted that there was camera men waiting to go live pretty soon, the classmates didn't have much time to hang out.

They were supposed to get their costumes and meet in the front of the school with their teachers; Shoto would usually take his time to do things like this but after seeing [____] run up to him; he knew they were going to waste it if they spoke. "[____], we have to get our stuff. Can we talk later?"

"Ah! I know, but...!!"

"I will see you later."

"Todoroki, wait —!!"

"—Ahh, I'm SO excited to see your costume, [____]-chan!!" Ashido pulled her friend over to the small group of girls she was walking off with. "Momo-chan, do you think it'll be fancy or flashy?! Let's make it a bet!! 1,500 yen for me if it's flashy!"

"Mina, I was in the middle of—"

"I think it's gonna be fancy!" Ochako joined in, but had a little request. "I don't wanna bet money. Let's bet with something else! Mina, you will give me that cute bracelet you have if I win."

"Oh? This one? But I JUST got it!" Ashido let go of [____] to show off the purple string bracelet with a cute pattern she was wearing. "I bought it from this really pretty girl at the store, the other day..."

While the two continued to chat about it; [____] tripped on something and almost felt to the ground if she hadn't caught herself in time. "What the..?"

Hagakure was clearly the cause. "I wonder what I'll get if I say your costume is going to be simple and lack originality."

"Isn't yours invisible?" [____] asked bluntly.

"I'm going after you in the exams, I hope you know this."

"Thanks for the heads up. I'm not in the mood to take you serious right now, though."

Toru was taken aback by her attitude. 'Did she developed one overnight?! This girl keeps finding new ways to piss me off! I hate her!'

[____] was thinking almost the same about her. 'Hagakure seems more bitchy today...I wonder how she'll react if I tell her I spent the night with Katsuki. Will she finally back off? Maybe she won't believe me.'

"Anyway, girls!" Ashido was brought back into the group after handing Uraraka the purple bracelet she had claimed to love and protect a few minutes ago. "Let's get our costumes and sit near each other in the bus!! We can talk about who are the cutest boys in school! Actually, we don't even have to settle for anyone in UA, let's talk cute boys from all around the world, that's even better!"

"I usually denounce talks like these, but...There is something about being included that make me feel all giddy inside..." Yaoyoruzo was now walking close to [____]. Given that they were both the most quiet ones in the group, she thought she could share her feelings for a second. "I'm sorry. Was that dicey of me..?"

[____] rarely talked to girls. Growing up, she only had two friends she could remember and they were both guys. Being part of Bakugo's team allowed her to meet Mina and she was practically friends with everybody. So in a weird way, [____] understood where Momo was coming from. "Not at all, I get like that too when I talk about the person I like..."

"Bakugo, right?"

[____] gave her a nod. "There's so much I wanna say about him...I wonder if I could trust others to understand it, heh..."

"What the shit is this fucking shit?" Bakugo didn't touch the small white box Kirishima left on his lap as he sat on a bench outside the school and waited for the entire class to show up.

"Jeez, bro. Did you eat swear words for breakfast? Open it and find out."

"Just for that." He taunted his friend by moving his leg and allowing the box to drop on the floor. "Fuck your shit."

"Dude, do you get off by being a dick all the time? Have some manners every now and then..." Eijiro moved his school bag to the floor so he could properly get on one knee and pick up the box. "Anyway, I bought you this gift and you could of just said you don't want to open it so I could of done it for you—"

"It's finally happening!!" Ashido's gasp caught the attention of many other students, including her teammate's. "Kiri is proposing to Bakubabe!!"

"What?! I am not! I was just picking this up!!"

"I'M GONNA MURDER YOU!!"

Sero was within distance, he found himself running to his team leader to wrap his arms around him, intentionally holding him off from hurting any of the girls. "Don't worry, Ashido. I got your back."

"Sero, thanks! What a gentleman!"

"Cute girls are coming. Bakugo, your ugliness will scare them away." Kaminari 'warned' his friend as he sat close to him. "Stop growling. Look hot."

"Kiri, what's in that box you are holding?" [____] questioned the guy, who was just starting to get up. "It's a ring..?"

"It's not a— Seriously, Ashido...You suck for that." Kirishima took a second to let his friend know he was disappointed in her comment. "Look, Amachi. It's just a friendship bracelet, nothing like that."

[____] placed one of her palms in front of him, ready to receive the box she was asking to see up close. When she opened it, she noticed the red colored band looked pretty similar to the one Mina gave Ochako. "Ooh, it's so cute."

"No, it's manly, like Bakubro. I got an orange one 'cause that's his favorite color, see?" He showcased the accessory on his wrist before further explaining. "...I'm thinking we should all have one, so if Bakugo won't take it this one, then why don't you keep it?"

"Ah..? Me?"

"Yeah. He was already iffy about accepting it and I bet he will try burn it so I'm not even gonna try to give this to him anymore. Maybe if he sees all of us wearing one, he'll cave in...?"

"Maybe..."

Eijiro let out a small chuckle from watching the girl overthink. She blew air in her cheeks and stared pretty hard at the bracelet. "Just wear it, don't think much about it."

"But this will seriously look like I'm matching with you..." [____] said out loud. "Unless...I can convince Katsuki to take it?"

"Be my guest but I really don't care much anymore, bro."

'I don't like being called 'bro' but..I'm already getting used to it when it comes from Kiri...'

Eijiro shook off her silence with a light shrug and turned back to the rest of his friends. "Hey everybody! Hm? Where's Bakugo?"

"Todoroki pulled him aside to speak with him." Kaminari seemed to be the only one interested enough in the question to explain. "Something about team plans, ionno..."

"Team plans?! But then, what about me?!" [____] heard this, and became a little sad to know she was left out of such conversation. "Kaminari, can you show me where they went?"

"Can you forgive me for what I did this morning?"

[____] laughed. She had forgotten about it for a long second. "Sure..."

"That was easy. Can you go on a date with me sometime?"

"Wha...Sorry, but I can't."

"Then I cant tell you."

"That's unfair!"

"Denki, Stop." Sero finally meddled in their business to give the girl the answer she was waiting for. "[____], they went that way, but you should stay because it's almost time for us to go...They'll come back soon enough."

"Maybe so, but...."

"Talk about clingy..." Hagakure whispered to herself; it was audible to Sero only because she was sitting right next to him on the bench.

Hanta raised an eyebrow in confusion. "Did you say something, Toru?"

"Eh? No, I did not."

"I could of sworn—"

"Hey, extras." His team leader interrupted everybody from whatever they were doing. [____] was glad to see him standing next to their other team member. "I just wanna remind you that I'm gonna win out there. So don't get butt hurt when I destroy you all."

"You're always so cocky." Mina let his threat go very easily. "But you're hot, so if I'm gonna be losing to anyone it better be to two hot guys like you and Todo."

"That's not a heroic way to see things..." Momo nudged her.

[____] walked over to her partners, placing the red bracelet in her pocket to forget about it. She had something more important to worry about; and that was to give a proper apology to Shoto.

"Todoroki! Can we talk?"

"[____]—"

"Is everyone here? Let's start lining up to get to the bus without making things hard." Mr. Aizawa's deep voice called out to his students.

"Todoroki!" [____] wasn't trying to let anymore time pass by. She would of felt terrible to work along side someone she just insulted. "Can we sit in the bus together?!"

"Sure..."

'Yes! I get to have enough time to apologize, this way! But...'

She looked at her team leader; who was too busy trying to shake Ashido off him to listen to [____]'s request. "Come on, Bakubabe! Sit next to me! Let me touch your biceps for once!"

"Fucking shit. Let go off me, black eyes!!"

'I guess it's okay if I do this...I'm sure he won't mind.'

With that uncomplicated mindset; [____] followed after Todoroki, leaving the rest of their friends behind.

[an; SORRY FOR MISTAKES ITS 2 am I'm tired ALSO SORRY I TOOK FOREVER TO UPDATE IVE BEEN WORKING LOTS AND LOTS like seriously my day usually starts at 3-4 am I go to my first job until 1pm and from there I go to my 2nd job 2-10pm. I get home to clean/cook and fall asleep right after

I've had days off but I usually spend them with my daughter & husband. I haven't had enough time to do any hobbies since it's the holiday season I've been taking in extra shifts but I'm hoping it'll all change quickly!! So sorry!
