"Class, here are the results from yesterday's written exam." Mr. Aizawa wasted little to no time to cut through the chase a few seconds after his students were sitting still; waiting for his lesson. "Don't look so tense, I'm going to read them out loud but before I do, I'd like to remind you all that even though you were graded individually on this, your overall score will be decided after tomorrow.

It'll all depend on teamwork tactics you and your partner will face head-on. Keep that in mind. Oh, and by the way, it'll be broadcasted on live television, so, now let's—"

As expected, most of the students interrupted him out of surprise. "Ehhhhh?! Why didn't anybody tell us, until now?!"

In the middle of all the whispers and gasps, Mina raised her hand as she stood up without permission. "Mr. Aizawa! I'd like to be excused for tomorrow, I'm going to be on my period!!"

"Yeah, me too, Mr. Aizawa!" Kaminari followed with the joke, "I'm not going to be on my period, but I am going to develop a high fever by tonight and I should rest until I recover!!"

"SILENCE."

Their teacher made everyone stop talking with just one loud word. Even [____], who was one of the few students not saying anything, gulped from fear.

'Scary! He looks like he's about to kill someone with just a glare..!'

He focused back to his papers, not giving his class a chance to relax. "Just in case you guys feel like not showing up, need I remind you that it is mandatory. Ill or not, if I don't see you in the arena when it's time for you to fight, I will unarguably fail you this semester.

Now, let's move on to the scores. I will start from highest to lowest; you are not allowed to move or speak until I am finished. Number one, with a perfect score of 100/100, it's Bakugo, Katsuki."

'Katsuki!! Amazing!! I knew you were going to be one of the top ones, but the very first one?! Perfect score?! Where did you even find the time to study?!

We all kept hanging out during the weekend, was I not even with you, most of it all?!'

"Two, with a score of 99.6/100, Yaoyorozu, Momo. Three, with a score of 99.1/100 Todoroki, Shoto."

'Todoroki is number three..?! I'm already making both of them look bad with my scores, if I'm anymore below they are!!'

"Four, with a score of 98.2/100; Midoriya, Izuku."

'Izuku! I'm proud of you! Thank you so much for the notes, I totally wish I could of taken advantage of them..'

"Five, with a score of 98/100; Iida, Tenya. Six, with a score of 97.9/100; Tokoyami Fumikage. Seven, with a score of 95/100; Ojiro, Mashirao. Eight, with a score of 94/100; Shoji, Mezo. Nine, with a score of 91/100; Kirishima Eijiro."

'Kiri is number nine?! Well, he was the one taking the whole studying part more seriously than the rest of us, that time we went to the Kamo district's mall...'

"Ten, with a score of 90/100; Hagakure, Toru."

'My name hasn't been called yet...Even Hagakure has 90 points...I'm starting to kind of panic, now.'

"Eleven, with a score of 88/100; Koda, Koji. Twelve, with a score of 87/100; Uraraka, Ochaco. Thirteen, with a score of 86.6/100; Sato, Rikido. Fourteen, with a score of 86.6/100; Asui, Tsuyu. Fifteen.... wait, no? This can't be right...."

The classmates who's name had been previously called didn't seem to mind the worried look on their teacher's face. Though, the ones who still didn't know their grades were internally screeching as Mr. Aizawa turned around and shuffled through the paperwork on his own.

After figuring out that there was no mistake; he cleared his throat one more time to continue. "Fifteen, with a score of 56.8/100; Kaminari Denki."

[____] could hear a little 'yes' coming out of her neighbor's seat.

'Ahhh, so he really is number 15– Mina's list and in this test's grade...How funny.' [____] smiled a little, 'Nevermind that, the numbers just dropped from an 80 to the 50's...!! Which means!! Me?! Am I below that?!'

"Sixteen, with a score of 55/100; Jiro, Kyoka. Seventeen, with a score of 45.6/100; Mineta, Minoru."

The more the numbers lowered; the more she could hear Mina's light gasps since her name hadn't been called, either.

"Eighteen, with a score of 45/100; Ashido, Mina."

A loud sigh followed; [____] wasn't feeling any better, though. '18....There's only 3 more spots left!! Please, anybody!! Don't make me be the last one!! Let me be after Mina, please! I tried my hardest!! I don't want to disappoint Katsuki—!'

"Nineteen, with a score of 34/100; Aoyama, Yuga."

'34?! So I'm less than 34?!'

"Twenty, with a score of 32/100; Sero, Hanta."

'I'm last...I'm the last person...How embarrassing.'

"Twenty-one, with a score of 27.7/100; Amachi, [____]."

The girl could of sworn she felt her soul leave her body, in that moment.

'That's...far worse than I anticipated. I'm so behind, from everybody else...my two teammates had breath-taking scores...Katsuki was right, how am I even in this class?! I'm so stupid!!'

It was what Mr. Aizawa said next, that made the girl feel like things weren't as bad as she thought. "To the last five people on here...You may have a chance of redemption during combat, as long as you polish off your skills with your teammate."

During lunch, Mina told [____] and the rest of her close friends, that it would be a good idea to join Bakugo's table for the first time ever. "Our team leader got the best score! Let's celebrate!! I'm making Momo tag along because she's my sweetheart! Oh, and Toru and her partner want to join too!"

"A-Are you sure about this...?" [____] was still unconvinced, especially since she wasn't comfortable having Hagakure around her. She had waited until they were already sitting on the lunch table to ask her.

"The guys aren't here yet, they're probably still buying their lunch so it's fine!! As long as Kiri also agrees with this— He can't kick all of us out in one go. [____]-chan, stop worrying! Let's think of what we wanna eat, now!"

The girl covered her face with the palm of her hands, resting her elbows on the table and letting them slide to the sides, hitting her forehead by accident. "Ow...Honestly, I'm not even hungry after hearing my test results..."

"27 isn't so bad! I've heard worse, trust me!" Ashido wasn't lying about that, either. She knew her guy friends' brains were the size of a walnut when it came to written exams.

"But I would also be super embarrassed, being last place and all." Toru tried to sound friendly as she said it. "You even scored lower than Kaminari, that's gotta hurt you, somehow..."

'Hagakure, you're enjoying this, aren't you? Well....It's not like you're wrong. I am pretty bummed out, Katsuki's notes were so easy to understand so I don't know how dumb I have to be to get such a low grade...'

"Toru! Stop being a meanie to [____]! My baby girl probably couldn't focus, knowing she's paired up with two of the hottest guys in class. She's love-struck, [____], I'm on the same boat! I blame my lack of studying on Momo— Her perfect boobies kept distracting me!!"

Yaoyorozu was keeping quiet to herself the entire time; not knowing what to tell their new classmate about her terrible scores. That was until Ashido made her act shy. "M-My what?!"

"Don't be shy, we're all jealous!" While Mina continued to tease her, [____] went back to sulking.

'....How am I going to face Katsuki, now? I can already picture him being angry with me...After he went through the trouble to give me his notes, like Izuku...I'm so screwed...It's not even funny...'

"Stop fretting, already." Hagakure was the only person who understood [____], right then. Given that she also felt strong emotions towards Bakugo. "You think he'll like the face that you're making? It's so annoying..."

"Hagakure..." Because her best friend was being too loud and closer to Momo, [____] was sure the girls couldn't hear them. "Why are you giving me advice?"

"I'm not. I'm just saying; he's right over there, ordering lunch and I rather eat next to him when he's less angry about something."

[____] could hear two of the guys' voices behind her; it was Sero & Denki. She looked back to see them having a mental breakdown in front of the entire cafeteria.

"We're gonna fail!! We're so fucked, dude!!" — "We didn't even practice yesterday and we'll most likely won't do anything today, either!"

"Idiots. Why wouldn't you?!" Bakugo started yelling at them. "Shut the fuck up, I can't focus on today's menu with all your crying!!"

'He looks less mad, already...I'm glad he got the top score. I'm so proud of him, but I bet it's not like he'll care if I say it...'

"Bonjour!" Aoyama appeared right beside his exam partner, holding his tray of food. "I don't believe we've met before, mademoiselle. I am the shining hero—"

As he was about to properly introduce himself to [____], Sero called her out, urging her with his hands to go stand next to the guys.

"Oh, right. I have to pay for their lunch." [____] reminded herself. "Aoyama, right?! You're Hagakure's partner! Hold that thought for a sec—!! I'll be right back—!!"

To his team leader's demand, Sero only shrugged. "Dunno, man. Earlier, I said whoever gets the best score has to pay, then [____] went ahead and offered just in case you were going to—"

"Shut up already. I get it." He cut him off. "Put your money away, fat cheeks. I'll pay for these fuckers."

[____] didn't quite understand the issue, so she shook her head. "But, Katsuki—! I really don't mind paying! I have tons of credit cards on me, so—"

"Who the hell do you think I am?! Letting you pay for all these assholes' meals and crap...You have to stop doing that."

"It's not like I do it all of the time..."

"Bakugo, stop being a dick. You think you're so cool just 'cause you got first place." Kaminari was holding on to a notebook, he opened it up to a page where he sloppily wrote down his classmates' names. "Well guess what?! You're #5,000 on my 'hot guy' list!! While Kirishima is #1!"

"You think I'm hot?" Eijiro wasn't listening until he heard his name and the word 'hot guy' mixed together. "Wait, aren't you supposed to make a 'hot girl' list, instead?"

"Oh, shit. You're right." Kaminari closed the notebook. "I guess I was too mad at Bakuho to realize it."

"Fucking dumbass." Bakugo scoffed at his shit nickname. "Anyway, fat cheeks. What are you gonna get? I'll pay for yours, too."

[____] wasn't feeling hungry at all, the butterflies-running-around her stomach was giving her the already-full effect. "Katsuki, I wanna say... I'm really proud of you..."

He felt his face get hot out of nowhere. A knot on his throat stopped him from spewing an insult or two in response.

"I—!!" [____] was nervous too, she couldn't believe she'd say her thoughts out loud. "I'm sorry!! What I meant to say, was that—!!"

"Bakugo, isn't that your mom, over there?"

Eijiro didn't mean to ruin their moment, but he had to warn his best friend about Mitsuki walking into their school, wearing tight jeans and a leather jacket instead of her usual attire.

She looked lost for one second, but noticed her son right after he yelled at her. "What the fuck—?!!"

"Katsu-chan!! It's me! Mommy!!" She acted like if she hadn't seen him in a while, jogging her way towards him like if he was the best thing that had ever happened in her life. "Come, give me a hug!"

"Get the hell out of here, old hag!!"

Her expression quickly changed; she looked more like her son whenever she forcefully smacked his head. "What did you just call me?! In front of your friends, too!! —I'll kill you! Say 'sorry' to me, right now, Mister!!"

"Ah, so that's where he gets it from..." Kaminari was one of the few people who had been into Katsuki's house but haven't stayed long enough to hear them argue.

"Seriously— LEAVE!! Fuck!"

"I came all the way over here to say goodbye!! And you wanna treat me as if I mean nothing to you! I'll embarrass you in front of the entire school if I have to, so apologize!"

'This is already kind of embarrassing enough...' [____] gave his mom a weak smile since she made eye contact with her.

"Manato's cute daughter! How are you?" Mitsuki forgot all about her son and so she wrapped both of her soft hands over the only girl's, who was within her reach.

"I-I'm fine...Why do you need to say goodbye for...? May I ask?" [____] could feel her legs almost shaking from how close her crush's mom was getting to her face. "K-Katsuki's mom...?"

"Don't mind me! I'm just admiring your beauty!"

"What beauty are you talking about?! She's fucking disgusting—" Bakugo pretended to not care for [____] in front of his mom; he really didn't want her to sniff out his true feelings.

He had no idea that Mitsuki already knew, and she was there to uncover more of his thoughts before flying out of the country for a day. "Don't disrespect girls like that!! I'll take away your video games and laptop, understand?!"

"I don't give a shit! Do whatever you want, but LEAVE!!"

[____] sort of laughed. "I really don't want to be a part of this..."

"I'm not leaving until I receive my apology!! I told you already, I'm here to say goodbye so I'm going to hug you in front of all your friends as punishment!!"

"What the fuck are you saying goodbye for?! Can't you just call me, like a sane fucking person?!"

"Your dad was called for a work-related interview in another country; He really didn't want me to go but I convinced him, otherwise! So, we'll be heading out now but will be back tomorrow before your exams, to show you all of our love and support!!"

"Haah?! I don't care about any of this!! Why don't you leave, already?! Who the fuck said it was a good idea to let you in here, anyway?!"

Mitsuki finally let go of [____]'s hands to grab a hold of her son's. "Come here, you little shit!!"

"Don't fucking touch me!" He struggled at first, but ended up being pulled to another part of the school by his mom, who had her arm wrapped tightly around his neck. "Fuck—!!"

[____] blinked a few times, her mind was already left blank, along with their other friends who remained still.

Sero finally asked, while laughing. "What the fuck just happened?!"
