He had finished purchasing three boxes of apple juice from a vending machine, handing one to each girl without offering if they'd like some. "I know I'm not gonna make it very far, specially with Sero as my partner, over there...."

"Bro, fuck you, hahah." Hanta laughed at his friend's diss. "But....wouldn't you absolutely fail if you don't go?"

[____] tried to cheer her friend up, considering that last time she was doubting herself, he was there to buy her a muffin as a form of consolation. "Thanks for the juice. Also...Hanta is right, Kaminari! It's better if you try your best, you might get some points for just showing up, at least."

She didn't think about it, but it was the very first time she had ever said Sero's first name. It caused the tall guy to feel a little nervous. "[____]..."

"My girl is so sweet!" Mina gave her best friend a smile before wrapping her arms behind her back; squeezing [____] as they continued to walk. "You care for everybody, don't you?! Even idiots like Denki—"

"Wha— HEY! Bakugo isn't here, I'm supposed to feel safe around you guys!"

"Give it a rest, dude. Anyway, it's not like we'd completely fail these tests. You and I, we're a lot stronger than what everybody else thinks." Sero also tried to bring Denki's spirits up. "At least I am, anyway."

"Why is it always someone's job to insult me?! I charge all of your phones whenever you guys want me to!"

'I haven't thought about it...But that's kind of true; Kaminari is nothing but nice to everyone...Yet, we all kind of push him aside 'cause he's a tiny bit too much, sometimes...'

[____] thought, 'One Katsuki insulting him is more than enough...I gotta stand up for him! We're all annoying, at some point! Not cool to treat others like they're less...'

Mina had stopped hugging [____] at the right time; since it was then when she decided to stop her tracks and show the golden-haired boy some much needed verbal support, along with the rest of her friends. "Yes! There's a lot of teams I know you two can beat! So, Kaminari & Sero...! Give it your all! Same with you, Mina & Kiri!! I'll be rooting for you guys, too! You're amazing. I'm so lucky to be your guys' friend."

After letting the compliment soak them up, the guys' admiration for [____]'s kindness grew even stronger. Kirishima, who thought it wasn't a good idea to bring their friends' hopes up in that way, sighed. "Ahh, that's easy for you to say...You're the one who's working with Bakugo, after all..."

"—Not to mention, Todoroki." Hanta added. "He can also be kind of scary when he fights seriously..."

Denki spat out his apple juice before laughing at his partner over the sports festival incident. "Don't mind, Sero! Don't mind!! Hahahahaha—!!"

The rest of her friends joined in the laugh, including Sero himself. "I was dead the moment I entered the arena, wasn't I?!"

"W-Wait, what does that mean? Why is it funny?" [____] wanted to laugh, though she had no idea what the inside joke meant to the rest.

Mina finished her small container of juice in a few seconds with three or four big gulps. "[____]-chan; the sports festival, UA has one every year this was our first time attending. Todoroki obliterated him. You didn't see it?!"

"I didn't even know there was such a thing..."

"You should check it out, online!! That's totally how Bakubabe formed this team! He picked us, out of everyone in class who was offering to help him!"

"Really? Sounds like fun! I wonder if he would of picked me, at that time, too.." [____] held on to her juice box.

'There's a video of Katsuki fighting against our classmates. I wonder how cool he looks...Since it's made for the public, will it be okay if I watch it more than once?

I could never say this in front of our friends, but I kind of want to just stare at him forever. Maybe I could stare at this video, instead?'

Mina let out a 'pfft' from her mouth in response to her friend's serious question. "You're joking, right?! He totally would!! Your quirk, it would of helped anybody so much that I'm sure other team leaders would be fighting over you!"

"I can't imagine it..."

Denki disagreed with her. "[____]! You're strong, stop doubting yourself, please! You're making my heart break a little each time you look sad, I like you too much— Ah."

Sero pulled his exam partner away from [____], he felt as if he needed to have an honest conversation about personal space with Kaminari, after all this time. "Listen, sorry to change the topic here. But I completely forgot to bring lunch today, so let's all make a bet. Whoever gets the highest scores in the written exam gets to pay for lunch!"

Kirishima was never the kind to refuse free food, so he immediately went along with it. "YEAH—! Wait, why the best scores..?"

"Are you kidding? If I say the worst, me or Denki are done for—"

"Will Katsuki be a part of this, too?" [____] asked Sero.

"I mean, he's our team leader, so he kinda has to be."

"Ah, then that's not fair!" [____] jumped in front of him, sticking up for her crush, who wasn't there. "You guys are going to make Katsuki pay, I know! He's kind of amazing, so there's no doubt in my head that he's gonna have one of the top scores! I'm gonna be close to last, I'm sure. So, I offer to pay in exchange of him—"

"[____], I didn't even think about it, in that way!! Sero, you're trying to be slick. Bakugo's girl really knows you guys already." Kirishima was proud of her, he made it very clear at that moment. "So manly [____], you'll defend my buddy's rights even when he's not here. Wouldn't you?!"

Sero tried to laugh his feelings off; He was actually a little hurt to see how far [____] would go for their team leader, no matter how rude he was to everybody, including her. "Kind of takes away all the fun, but okay...If Bakugo can't pay, then [____], you're welcome to do it...Though, I don't even know why you'd wanna buy all of us lunch..."

"I have the money, so its okay!" [____] shifted her expression from light anger to something much more kind. "Thank you, Hanta! For letting me do this!"

"N-Not a problem, I guess...?"

With only a few more minutes before the school bell rang, the students made it to their home room class. Mina was the first to separate from the group, just to tease Momo about her good looks, like how she usually did.

[____] stayed behind with the guys, only because her assigned seat was between two of her friends'.

"So you really do like Bakugo, huh..?" Kaminari was close to admit defeat about it, but he decided to give it one more try, just for the heck of annoying Katsuki.

"I do!" [____] didn't deny it; making two of the guys feel like dropping to the ground from emotional trauma.

"Give up, Denki! Give up!" Sero did a little chant for himself, but changed his name to Kaminari's to not make it obvious. "She likes someone else, so stop trying..."

'Are they being serious..? I can never tell, with them. They're always laughing, so it could be just another one of their jokes...' [____] kept her thoughts to herself.

"You know what I'm gonna do?! I'm gonna write something on his desk, that will make me feel better!" Denki hurriedly searched his school bag for a sharpie, not a washable marker, and opened the cap as he got closer to Katsuki's empty seat.

"Yes, dude! Draw an angry cat taking a shit!"

Kirishima tried to stop his friends but only verbally, since he also wanted to see one of them get in trouble with his team leader. "I don't think he'll like that..."

"What are you guys doing?" Toru was already sitting in her own chair, after rushing to class a few minutes before Bakugo's team members entered the room. "That's labeling school property, and it's not allowed."

'Funny she says that...Didn't she do the same thing to my locker?'

"Who is trying to label school property?!" Tenya had overheard, he was more than ready to scold some of his classmates, that's when Kaminari shoved the sharpie into his bag, without putting the cap back on.

"Crap, Iida heard! Dang, Hagakure— Why couldn't you let me do it?! We all equally dislike this dude!"

"Whatever..."

'Little do they know...She doesn't dislike him at all, actually. I'm still upset about our fight yesterday, Hagakure...But...I kind of want to thank you for stopping them from tagging Katsuki's table...That was actually nice of you...

I couldn't say anything, since it feels like anytime I do...I make things worse? Kaminari...I know you like me. But didn't I already rejected you twice? And Sero...? You, too?'

"Ahhhh—! Bakugo! I'm gonna kill you, dude! For stealing [____]'s heart without giving me a proper chance!!" Denki declared at the blond's empty seat; scared right after he heard the blond's voice coming into the room.

"What the fuck are you idiots doing next to my chair?! Get the hell away from there!!"

"Katsuki—!" [____] was happy to see her crush in person after watching him fall asleep for the first time ever the night before. She was way too content to even care for her other friends, who were getting lectured by Tenya. "Good morning! Did you sleep well?"

Bakugo ignored her, for some reason. Walking past her and sitting down, with his eyes closed.

[____] took a step closer, "Um...Katsuki? Did you hear me?"

"Yeah, I heard 'ya. Just don't feel like answering pointless questions."

'Was it really pointless...? He told me last night that lately, he couldn't sleep very well. I'm genuinely concerned for him...He seems upset. Should I back off?'

She just couldn't do it, though. So she stiffened up her posture and asked him something else. "Katsuki, you were running late. So, did you ended up eating anything this morning?! Do you want this juice box that Kaminari bought for me, earlier?! I'm not gonna drink it—"

"—The fuck?! Does it look like I want something that an idiot got for you?! Why do you even continue to accept their shit?! Get out of here already, fat cheeks. You're annoying as hell!!" He irritatedly answered.

[____] closed her mouth. 'He's being extra mean today...Maybe I'll back off, for now...'

"—And that's the 5th reason why ruining school property is not a bright idea, you guys!" Iida was on a roll, boring the three guys to death with his talk; Kirishima somehow got pulled into the chat so he was trying to stay still to make his friends not feel alone. "Now, let me list the 10 reasons why it's dangerous to use sharpies in class, Kaminari Denki—!"

"Bakugo, what's going on, man?" Sero was eying his two friends the entire time, he couldn't hear much through Tenya's never ending lecture, but he noticed the girl suddenly stopped smiling.

"Nothing is going on, soy sauce face. Mind your own damn business."

"Eeeh..." Hanta gave him one of his famous smirks, ones that Katsuki hated to see, just to mock him. "Oh! That's right! [____], did you know that teachers and staff felt unsafe around Bakugo after the sports festival was over, so they literally had to tie him up like a rabid dog while declaring the winners, it was hilarious!"

'I don't get why he's laughing about it...That doesn't sound funny...Rather, kind of scary.'

"I'll show you the video today, during lunch!" He teased the blond while he was at it; "Bakugo, what are you looking so mad about? Don't tell me you're afraid of [____] seeing you like this?"

"Fuck no— I'm not afraid of anything! Show her whatever you want; just leave me alone, soy sauce face."

'As I thought, Katsuki is actually mad about something...He's always rude, but his tone is a lot more serious today. Something ticked him off... I hope he gets to calm down, as the day goes by... Is there anything I can do?'

"Not being afraid is something inhumane. There's gotta be something you're scared of." Hanta continued to taunt Katsuki. "Hey, aren't you scared of your mom? Cause—"

"Shut the fuck up already, and go to hell!!"

"H-Hanta, don't make him anymore mad, please!" The third time [____] used his first name to request something, Sero stopped smiling. "Let's get to our seats, already. Yeah?"

"...Sure thing."
