"Thank you for the food! I'm so glad that places like these are open for 24 hours!" Kirishima clapped his hands together once to show his gratitude to [____] for taking him to the same breakfast diner she walked in with Bakugo the other day. "After we're done here, I promise I'll walk you home and we can meet in a few hours to go to the mall and help you find something awesome to wear for your date— That is, if Bakugo is still mad at us and won't answer my calls."

The time was around 4:20 AM. She had somehow convinced Eijiro into giving her relationship advice since she thought that if she asked Mina or anybody else in their class, they were going to tease her or talk about it in front of her crush. Even though she didn't mind; there was an incredible chance that Katsuki wouldn't respond lightly to that.

"You know what he likes, the most. So it's no problem buying you food in exchange for your great help, Kiri!" She saw him scarf down some pancakes in less than a minute as soon as their order was in front of them. "S-So, in the meantime....Can you tell me...if Katsuki has a certain type of girl that he l-likes?"

With a mouth full of food, Eijiro still managed to talk. "I gotta be honest with you, I never heard my bro speak anything about girls...All he talks about is being #1 and the best at everything. He kinda has a huge ego. Makes it a little hard to love a guy like that, don't you think?"

"As if it wasn't obvious..." [____] gave him a pained smile. "Sometimes he can be a jerk, but....I know he's a sweet and caring person in general."

"Yeah! He is super cool! I look up to him a lot— His fighting style and his techniques, the way he moves and does anything with such confidence. He's also incredibly smart, and has an amazing sense of justice. [____], what do you like about him?"

'Now it just feels like I'm in the wrong....For saying I liked Katsuki's physical appearance first, when he asked me the same thing a couple of days ago. Kiri's appreciation is way purer than mine; Hagakure's too...She was able to list other great qualities of him as well....'

"I...Like...All of that, too..." She bashfully looked down to her plate of scrambled egg-whites and steamed spinach. She had ordered the same thing Bakugo bought for her, in an attempt to stick to her diet just for him. "I also think that he's attractive...And I like that he cares for me, even if he doesn't show it very well..."

Kirishima stopped eating only to study the red tinge in her cheeks and her embarrassed expression. He even felt his own face get a little hot. "That's dangerous!"

"Eh..? What are you talking about?"

"[____], your face. When you look like that, I can totally see why my friends wanna ask you out."

His compliment didn't help [____] go back to normal, so they both sat there, blushing at each other. Kirishima shook his head to get the second-hand embarrassment out of his system. "You really oughta stop acting that way with others, blushing whenever a guy speaks to you isn't a good feature if you really want Bakugo to be your boyfriend..."

"Ah—! But I'm not doing it on purpose! I just...I'm not very good at interacting with people, I didn't have many friends growing up except for Izuku and maybe even Katsuki, if he wasn't such a bully. I went to a handful of schools across the countries, I couldn't speak to anyone else aside from my parents and their translators..."

"I get it....Attending different classes with people who can't speak our language could make it hard to talk to them...But didn't you have like a pen-pal or something? We all had to write to others internationally while in middle school...Don't you remember?"

[____] did have one pen-pal acquaintance. His name was Jake and he was from the UK. He wanted to practice his Kanji while she was studying English. Although she stopped sending him letters as soon as their pen-pal assignment was over and they were graded for it. To her, this person wasn't even considered anything other than a good grade. "I don't know anybody who still keeps contact with those..."

"What are you talking about?! I do! I have tons of pen-pals from all over Japan!! I told myself that one day, I was going to befriend at least one person from every single country, it's like one of my goals to be known internationally; as a hero or not! I just want to be a friend to the people!"

[____] clapped her hands a few times to show her support. "What a great idea, Kiri! I believe in you."

"Thanks, thanks, I know..." Eijiro took her comment as a form of praise and he finally gave her an answer to her original question. "[____], I think Bakugo would pick a girl like you over the rest. He likes the attention he receives from others, too— But that's only if they fully respect him.

Girls that just fawn over his looks and nothing else are shallow...They probably don't care about his feelings and just want to be seen with him in public.

Also...I been wanting to tell you this for the longest time, I think your quirk is super awesome. Have you ever thought about how strong you could be if you practiced a lot more?" He suddenly asked, changing the topic once again.

[____] shrugged after taking a bite of her food. "Honestly, becoming a hero wasn't even something I've put much thought about. I usually do whatever my parents tell me to... My mom gave me the option to attend U.A or become a model and since I don't have the confidence to be in front of cameramen 24/7....

Hero work processed a lot better, in my head... Saving people... Helping others... It sounded a little bit scary at first, but after seeing how hard all of my classmates work... it really gives me the courage and motivation to do the same, you know?

Izuku tried to save me from Katsuki's attacks once, when we were kids... I felt defenseless then, but I really don't want to feel like that now. I want to be able to look into people's eyes and say, 'don't worry, I'm here for you', too..."

"It sounds like you went for the right path, then." Kirishima handed the shy girl a huge grin. "You'll be a great hero someday if you keep practicing! I can totally see it— You're going to be so manly!"

"Kind of the opposite of what I'm trying to hear, but okay..." She sighed. "Thanks, Kiri...I guess I'm probably thinking too much when it comes to relationships; I would always read or hear things like 'just be yourself and it'll all work out' and you're sort of telling me 'be yourself, but a lot stronger' when it comes to Katsuki, aren't you...?"

Eijiro blinked a few times; he had completely forgotten what he was there for in the first place. Relationship advice— Not hero advice. He tried to play along with the idea she had gotten from his words. "Ahahah, yeah...That... Um... I would tell you not to become too strong just yet. Bakugo can also want to feel needed, like any other guy would."

"Katsuki isn't like the rest...So I find that hard to believe."

"Well, that's true but... Isn't it normal? To want your partner to see you as someone you could entrust all of yourself into? Things like...Your feelings and your thoughts..Your body too—"

"OK!! I get what you're trying to say, so please stop speaking!!" [____] requested a little too loudly, making a few people around their table look at them for a second.

Again, Eijiro blushed. "Th-That's not what I was talking about! Bakugo isn't the kind of guy to just sleep with someone before marriage, I think!"

"You think?! Wait, but what's the other way to interpret what you just said?! I'm not even thinking about having sex with him, yet—!!"

"You just added a 'yet' to that— like if that's going to make this any less weird! Why are we speaking of this, right now?!"

They both kept raising their voices at each other, making some of the guests curious of what they were talking about, others just viewed them like a couple of shamefaced idiots and paid no attention.

[____] could feel a few stares on her; so she put her head down onto the table, hiding herself from them. "I don't know, Kirishima! You're the one who brought it up!! Ahhhh—! People are looking!!"

"Relax— It's only because we were being too loud..." The second her eyes met one of her forearms, Eijiro was able to stop blushing. "I'm gonna go use the bathroom...I'll try to call him one more time and see if he's still mad or not. I'll be right back, okay?"

[____] grumbled in response. "I'll be here...."

As soon as she couldn't feel his presence; [____] looked back up to find that nobody was paying any attention to her. "Finally, I can calm down..."

She grabbed her cell phone to check the time. It was almost 5 AM.

'Somehow, it feels like my heart is beating out of my chest...I'm not even tired anymore, after having that weird chat with Kiri....

It already seems morally wrong to even think about it. I don't wanna give myself physically to anybody at this age, but the image of Katsuki, on top of me...Looking sort of exhausted, for some reason...I wonder why I don't hate it...'

"Hi, I'm here to pick up an order for Shoto... I called in about fifteen minutes ago..."

'Todoroki..?!'

[____] had to stand up to make sure the guy who just walked in the diner was one of her exam partners— As if his two toned hair wasn't a dead giveaway.

"[____], what kind of phone accessory is that?" Shoto decided to sit in Eijiro's spot while waiting for his food to be ready to go.

He pointed at the white puppy plush she got from the weird magician yesterday. She decided to place it in a key strap that she could connect to her phone case. "Ah, it's not for the phone...But..."

She unhooked the toy from her device and lightly tapped it on his head before handing it to him. "Press it's little paw."

Shoto followed her instructions, only to hear his current thought coming from the pup.

"I'm sleepy."

"Oh, it can read your thoughts.." He seemed a little unamused by it.

[____] simpered at his serious expression. "Yeah, I got it yesterday at a magic shop. Isn't it kind of cool? Though, it only works if you don't know about it, so you can't use it on the same person twice or anything of the sort— Hey! Todoroki, what are you doing?!"

He kept pressing the dog's paw real fast after tapping it on her own head, just to see if he could say anything other than 'woof'. "I want to hear yours, too..."

"I already know how it works, though! So it can't be helped, sorry..."

'I wouldn't want him to know I was just thinking about Katsuki, anyway.'

Kirishima showed up behind [____]'s seat, startling her when he greeted his classmate. "Todoroki, what's up? Why are you holding that dog toy..?"

Todoroki was a little relieved to know she wasn't hanging out with Bakugo. He handed the puppy back to [____]. "Kirishima, good morning."

"Kiri! I forgot to show you this, watch!" [____] swiped the plush lightly on his forehead to introduce everybody what he was thinking.

"Why was Todoroki holding that dog toy?"

[____] kind of laughed at it. "I guess you're very straight spoken, aren't you, Kiri? To say what you actually think, out loud...how funny hahaha..."

Two or three minutes later; [____] finished explaining to Todoroki why she was having breakfast with Kirishima and not Bakugo— Who she was supposed to be training with instead. She tried not to give away too many details, though.

"Bakugo got upset over something insignificant and walked away? Sounds just like him..." Shoto was able to summarize it perfectly while sitting right next to Eijiro.

"Hey, it wasn't insignificant if you actually knew what it was!" The red haired guy tried to stand up for his best friend in his place, but [____] signaled him to not say much.

"Besides that...Todoroki, why are you picking up food all the way here?" [____] asked him. "Is it for you, 'cause if so..Why not just eat it with us?"

"But we're about to leave." Kirishima added. "You're gonna have to finish alone—"

Todoroki wasn't fazed by his rudeness. "It's not for me, actually. It's for somebody else, so..."

'I wonder who it could be...His mom, probably?'

"Do you have a secret girlfriend or something?!" Kirishima very suddenly asked the question [____] took days to find the courage to inquire.

"Kiri— You can't just ask him that!!"

"No, I don't have a girlfriend, yet." He looked straight into [____]'s eyes as he said it; which gave Kirishima the details he needed to know.

'His voice sounds soothing, but why is he looking at me so fixedly...? Do I also have a huge ego or am I truly the girl Todoroki is crushing on...? It would make a lot of sense...But I can't just assume it, if he hasn't made it super obvious...'

"[____], will you be able to practice with me at six, today?" Shoto reminded her about it; "We could go eat more pastries after we're done."

"Um...About that..." [____] was starting to feel nervous yet again; so Kirishima took a stand for his best friend's future relationship with the girl.

"Todoroki— Bakugo and her are sort of dating already, did you know?"

"Why would you tell him such a thing—?!" The girl was planning a way to leave the guys on their own, without making a dramatic exit through one of her portals. "It's not like Todoroki even cares for stuff like that, right?!"

Shoto didn't change his expression, he remained calm even while asking. "What makes it 'sort of'?"

Eijiro thought of what to say. "Well...Bakugo is just taking his time on making it official, I guess. He's probably coming up with the manliest way to confess his love, as we're speaking."

"So in other words, they're not dating."

"Eh...No! They definitely are! Right, [____]?! Tell him what you were saying earlier, about Bakugo aski—"

The girl couldn't stand listening to them anymore, so she covered her ears with her hands. "Guys, please! This isn't fun for me! Stop talking about my love life like if it's important to anyone other than myself....Also, I'm sorry...That I was being rude, just now..."

"Shoto? I have a pick up ready for Shoto?" One of the waitresses called him out.

"[____], Kirishima; I will leave now. I'll see you two tomorrow at school. Good luck with the written exam." Todoroki took a stand and walked away from them without watching [____] lightly waving goodbye.

"That was strange..." Kirishima whispered to her the second he left the diner with a brown paper bag filled with food. "[____]; it's so obvious this guy has a thing for you. Todoroki is usually quiet, so it's hard to tell..

That's not good...you allowed him to join you guys' team...Bakugo is probably mad about that way more than you'd think. But he's still willing to stay in the group and work with him just for the sake of having you fight along his side.

Aww, that's very sweet. [____]! Bakugo is super manly, isn't he?! He put his own feelings aside for you, so don't push him away and go for a guy like Todoroki!! Give him time, [____], he'll open up soon, I pinky promise!"

"Kiri...." [____] looked down to her plate. She hadn't eaten much at all yet she was already feeling full just by thinking about her crush.

'Push Katsuki away? I would never....I like him far too much...Maybe it's starting to become love; if I knew exactly how that felt... I still wanna believe that it is, though.'
