We both did various parts, but for the most part Ren wrote Deku's POV and I wrote Ocha's!

Ocha's Pov

The girls and I are in the locker room together. It's pre-training time, and we're putting our hero costumes on.

'Soooooo, I'm ready for training!' Mina declares. 'Who else?'

'You sure you're ready? Because you haven't even finished putting your costume on,' Jiro says, pointing at Mina's feet where her boots are missing. Mina grins sheepishly.

'Ready to see 'Dekuuu'?' She looks slyly at me. My face turns the colour of a cherry.

'W-what do you mean?' I stammer. 'I mean, he's my best friend so of course I want to see him, but-'

'Are you sure he's your best friend?' Mina raises her eyebrows. 'Nothing more?'

I roll my eyes, trying to hide my panic. 'Well I was going to say that you guys and Iida are my best friends too but nevermind, you meant something else.'

'Answer my question!' Mina demands. 'Are you and Midoriya-'

'Mina, leave her alone,' Tsuyu says. 'We're about to train, you don't want to distract her or anything.'

Mina sighs. 'Argh, fine. But you guys are no fun!' she skips out of the locker room, leaving the rest of us.

'Don't worry about it, Uraraka.' Yaomomo gives a warm smile. 'She's only teasing you.'

'I know, but sometimes she just gets me thinking...' I cup my face in my hands.

'About Midoriya?' Toru says from over my shoulder.

'Toru!!!'

Deku's Pov

I'm sitting in the locker rooms with the rest of class 1a's guys. I was the first to finish changing into my hero costume, but I haven't left just yet because I'm waiting for Todoroki and Iida.

'I'm jutht thaying, it'th not fair that Deku ith gonna get in on with girlth before us!'

'h-huh?!' I stuttered while turning to face Mineta,

'w-what do you mean?!' my face most likely burning.

'you know what I mean!' Mineta whined while Kaminari nodded his head "all the girlth like you! you're gonna get to touch Urarakath boobs an-" he was cut off by Iida, who chopped him on the head with force. 'Mineta-kun! women aren't objects!'

'wh- what?! Uraraka and I are j-just friends!' I say while flailing my arms around and then hiding my face in my hands.

Hippity skippity, time is an illusion and we'll all die eventually

Ocha's Pov

We reach the training centre and Mr Aizawa pairs us up for sparring. I get paired with Sero.

Deku is sparring with Mina a few metres away. We keep smiling and waving at each other, and Mina is doing the same with Sero.

5 minutes later, Mr Aizawa calls us back to the group. He puts us into groups of four, and Sero and I are grouped with Deku and Mina.

Mina suggests that we swap partners. She goes with Sero and I go with Deku.

'Hey, do you think Ashido and Sero are acting strange?' Deku asks me.

'Hmm, I'm not sure...' I cast a look over at them. They're talking with each other too, but I can't hear what they are saying. 'I mean, they were looking at each other all throughout sparring, but it didn't seem like anything weird so I decided to just leave it alone.'

'Okay,' Deku smiles at me. We stare at each other for a moment, before I hear a weird sound and look to my left.

Sero's tape flies towards us and wraps around me and Deku. A split second later my face is just centimetres away from his.

Mina cheers. Blushing profusely, I accidentally activate my quirk and we rise into the air.

'Even better!' Mina yells happily.

'Mina, look what you've done!!' I yell angrily at her. Mina's expression falters a little, but she tries to defend herself.

'You asked for it!' She calls to us, putting her hands on her hips.

Deku's Pov

Honestly, at this point, I could have been redder than Kirishima's hair!

my best friend, my crush, the girl who saved me at the entrance exam and has stuck by my side ever since, had her...

Chest, uhm, pressed against mine because we were stuck in the tape of a shippers wrath.

I quickly whipped my head sideways, avoiding any eye contact with Ochaco at all.

"Aah, I'm so sorry Deku!" She said, distressed and embarrassed, I'm sure she was avoiding eye contact with me too.

"A-about what?" I stutter, knowing she's referring to whatever situation we had managed to get into right now.

"About this whole thing! Mina was teasing me about it in the locker room, I should have known she would pull something like this!" She replied with a hint of defeat, turning her head back towards mine.

"I-it's okay!" I reply, looking her in the eyes. "I don't think anyone expected this!"

"you know what I mean!" Mineta whined while Kaminari nodded his head "all the girlth like you! you're gonna get to touch Urarakath boobs an-"

I'm quickly brought back to what situation we're in, I'm pressed UP AGAINST OCHACO'S CHEST!

WHAT DO I DO, WHAT IF SHE'S UNCOMFORTABLE, NO IF SHE WAS UNCOMFORTABLE SHE'D SAY SOMETHING RIGHT? OR WOULD SHE JUST KEEP IT TO HERSELF BECAUSE SHE THINKS THAT WOULD BE POLITE, IS IT POLITE?! IF SHE HASN'T SAID ANYTHING IT'S BECAUSE IT WOULD BE WEIRD TO SAY SOMETHING SO DOES THAT MEAN I SHOULDN'T SAY SOMETHING?! BUT THEN AGAIN IF SHE DOESN'T LIKE THE POSITION WE'RE IN THEN I SHOULD SAY SOMETHING RIGHT? UGH, BUT HOW WOULD I BRING THAT UP-

Ocha's Pov

'Umm, Deku, are you oka-' I begin to ask, then realise what's wrong. 'oh. oOH-'

'Aaaaaah!!' Deku scrunches his face up in embarrassment. SO CUTE!!!

'Uhm... D-deku, are you okay?' I repeat.

'Uhhhmm, hard to say,' He says sheepishly. 'A-as long as you're alright?'

'Well yeah, I mean it's not really like we can do much about it,' I laugh nervously.

Deku's Pov

"I- I guess you're right," I admit with a small chuckle

"is there anything I can do though, to make it..." I trail off as Ochaco looks to the side, I couldn't be more glad she was avoiding my stare though.

"Y'know, less... w-weird?" I finish.

"Uhm, I.. uh," Ochaco pauses to think for a moment, I guess I never realised how pretty she looked until she was literally inches away from me.

'Your eyes are really pretty up close you know...,' I mutter absentmindedly, mostly to myself.

Ochaco tenses up, 'W-what?' she stuttered,

'Uh, uhm-' I stammer, SHOOT, NOW I'VE MESSED UP! uUuhHm, how do I play this off?! 'Um, nevermind, heheh...'

She looks me in the eyes before saying, "I guess there isn't really a way, huh?", followed by a few giggles.

Jeez, I never noticed how contagious her laugh is, I couldn't help but just laugh along.

Ocha's Pov

'ALRIGHT YOU TWO!' We hear a loud voice from below and look down. All Might is shouting up to us. 'WE'RE GOING TO GET YOU DOWN NOW.'

'It's okay, All Might!' I shout back. 'I can get us back down!' To prove my point, I slowly descend towards the ground.

(Ren: why didn't she do that at the start you ask? Plot convenience-

Lily: She was distracted by Dekuuuuu XD

Ren: indeed she was

Lily: Ya XD)

Deku and I grin at each other. We eventually land on the ground and use one of Momo's thin swords to chop through Sero's tape.

'Yay, we made it!' I smile, before giving Deku a quick hug which he returns.

'Soooooo,' I raise my eyebrows at Mina. 'All Might, what's the punishment for Ashido here?'

Mina's eyes widen.

'Hmm, well I think Ashido will be getting detention for that little prank,' All Might says. 'Although I do ship you two! That's what you millennials say when you want two people to be in a relationship, isn't it?'

Deku and I both turn red in the face. All Might definition of 'ship' only makes it worse. 'Umm, yes, it is...'

'Wonderful!' All Might declares. 'Oh, and Sero will be getting a warning.'

'Please All Might!, it was her idea!' Sero exclaimed.

'Yes, and that's why I said you'll be getting a warning, not a detention.' All Might replied. 'You still went along with it.'

Anyway, All Might figured out all the details and things went back to normal after that.

Later that lesson, Deku and I were sparring again.

Deku Pov

"Hey- AH!- Uraraka" I shouted at her while she threw punches my way "Isn't it kind of weird how All Might ... said he shipped us? haha," I mumbled the last part, realising halfway through the sentence this is gonna be weird to bring up.

"A-ah, nevermind, that's a really weird question huh? of course it's weirdthatAllMightsaidthatanyway-"

I said as fast as I could, rushing the end so she hopefully wouldn't hear it.

Ocha Pov

'That's okay! Yeah, it's weird of All Might to say that,' I laugh. 'And kinda embarrassing honestly.' I grin.

'Yeah, I'm sure he didn't mean it though,' Deku grins back.

For a moment there's silence, but comfortable silence. Like it's just me and him.

We keep sparring for a few moments, giving the occasional laugh and, 'HAHA, YOU MISSED!' Then All Might calls everyone over to the group again for the end of the lesson.

Over the next while I'm in a great mood. It seems that talking to Deku has made me feel a whole lot better about the whole incident we had today. Which makes me like him a whole lot more.
