~ Remember Shockwave? ~

The beginning of July, the days start to really heat up in Japan and students can't wait to be on break. But it is also the time heroes try to be on patrol the most. With students that they can influence and villains still committing crimes, it's prime time for a hero to get their name out there.

Tonight, a cloaked figure decided not to get their name known, but rather, to test their latest weapon. This person was Izuku Midoriya and he wanted to start using the last model of his new prosthetic arm that would return his sense of touch to his right arm. He also had built plenty of other gadgets during his many sleepless nights and many of them needed a proper target to test them out on. So, Izuku was going to search for a small group of Yakuza members, the equivalent to gang members in the States and many other places.

Deciding to test out his first piece of gear, Izuku took out oddly shaped gadgets from his utility belt. Holding them out in the palm of his hand, his digital assistant, Pina, activated the gadgets. Suddenly, the gadgets came to life and folded out into small robots shaped like hummingbirds.

"Pina, activate the camera feature." Ordered Izuku as he slipped on a brand new mask, this one with one-way lenses, so people couldn't see his eyes, otherwise, the mask was the same as the previous models. A built-in gas mask and rebreather, but wrapped around his head without covering the top of it, allowing his hair to flow freely.

But as the mask came to life, Pina brought up a video feed from one of the hummingbird bots for Izuku to see. Then the video feed switched between the robots and kept up with each of their movements. After a few minutes of that, Izuku set his mask down on one of the desks of his workshop.

"What shall I record the results as?" Pina asked as the three hummingbird bots flew close together and switched their cameras to their hologram projectors, allowing the robots to materialize Pina's body as a hologram.

"Humming-Bots; the test drive was successful. Note for later: create more Humming-Bots stationed around the workshop to save power on battle-ready bots." He said, turning to his computer while sitting in his rolling chair.

Once he reached the computer, he could see a spreadsheet opened by Pina with all the information he just told her already on it. Closing the spreadsheet, he opened a blueprint for his new arm. The arm was modeled off of the one used by the Winter Soldier, but he had to actually replicate the system in his mass-produced prosthetic arm that allowed the arm to move with muscle movements and the nervous system.

Glancing over the design, Izuku looked at his prosthetic that he hardly had any use for. After all, in the three weeks that have passed, he has grown a bit more accustomed to using his left arm as his dominant arm. But now, he was going to get back his right arm, or as close as he could get to have it back.

Turning back to the desks filled with countless gadgets and parts, Izuku had three models for his new arm. The one on the left focused on making the joint as small and efficient as possible. The second model was nearly identical to the third one that was to the right of both of them. But the only difference between the two was that the second model focused more on the sense of touch instead of movement, and as of last week's tests, it worked a little too good. He could literally feel the vibrations in the air when the sensitivity was boosted to the max.

Now, he took off his prosthetic arm and felt a small ounce of pain coursing throughout his shoulder from recklessly ripping it out. But he ignored it as much as he could as he aligned his arm socket with the third model. Slowly, he moved closer to the model until his skin was touching the cold metal, one of the few things he didn't have the time or space to fix.

Once the arm was ready to be attached, Izuku held the model with his left hand to make sure it stayed aligned with his arm socket. "Pina, attach the arm starting with 0% sensitivity." Ordered Izuku before he screamed due to a piercing feeling in his skin, but once he felt his arm socket connected with the metal arm, he could move the arm around as if he never lost the arm in the first place. "Pina, calibrate sensitivity to match my left arm."

In the span of a few seconds, Izuku felt nothing from his right hand to the vibration in the air caused by the Humming-Bots flying around. And then it stopped at a level he was familiar with for most of his life.

"Calibration complete," Pina informed him before he got up and used his cloak to hide his arm.

"Alright, Pina, send the Humming-Bots out to search for that Yakuza group. If you find any familiar activity to the Yakuza or if one of the bots find themselves at the scene of a crime in progress, alert me right away." He ordered as he walked to the door and walked out of the workshop.

"Yes, sir." Replied Pina as the hologram display of her body disappeared and the Humming-Bots flew out the door.

Watching the robots disappear into the night, Izuku decided to go to one of the areas of Dagobah Municipal Beach that he had completely cleared out, allowing anyone to see the ocean from the sidewalk. As the moonlight reflected on the ocean surface, Izuku slipped on his mask and watched the camera feed of his robots. But one of the weirder perks of living in a world filled with heroes was that no one thought it was odd for him to wear his outfit, thinking he was some hero they couldn't name at the moment.

After twenty minutes, the first trace of villain activity was spotted by one of the Humming-Bots, sadly it wasn't the Yakuza group, instead, it was a bank robbery and the villains holding up the bank had hostages. So, Izuku immediately headed toward it, ordering the Pina to keep the bot watching the bank while the other two kept searching.

"Pina, tell me as much as you can about the bank situation," Izuku ordered once again as he ran toward the crime scene.

Analyzing the villains, heroes, and others involved in the situation, Pina listed a few of the details directly on the video feed while keeping the others on a small list off to the side of Izuku's vision. "Currently, Mt Lady and Eraserhead are near the scene with the former trying to negotiate with the villains while the latter tries to find another way in."

"Wait, is there any way for me to enter the building without the villains suspecting me?" Izuku asked, seeing the flashing of police car sirens just a few blocks away.

"Eraserhead is going through the roof, but other than that, there is seems to be no other entrance except for the main entrance." She informed before the camera of the Humming-Bot zoomed in on the villains. "There are three villains at the scene, one of them has sharpened nails and is watching the tied up hostages while the other two are in the vault. Also, the vault is wide open, presumably due to one of the other two's Quirks."

'Sharpened Nails. Okay, I'll have to avoid close range combat at first, then I should engage the other two in battle.' He thought as he ran up to the scene, right behind the police line that had formed to keep the onlooking civilians from watching.

Of course, Izuku went through the police line and ignored the officers that were guarding it as he ran straight toward the bank. Behind his back, he grabbed one of his taser guns with his left hand, but it was completely new like his other equipment since most of it burned up at the end of the USJ incident. When he got close to the bank, the villain watching the hostages noticed him and was about to yell to alarm his two accomplices, but found two taser darts latched onto his body and shocking him before he got the chance.

Once inside the bank, Izuku held up a finger where his mouth would be, signaling to the hostages to be quiet. But unfortunately, the villain that he just tased dropped to the ground with a loud thud, alerting both Mt Lady (who was taking pictures with fans) and the two villains in the vault.

"Hey, go check that noise out." Ordered one of the villains in a feminine voice, yet still as stern as any man would sound. It seemed that the other villain followed her orders as he walked out the vault with his hand outstretched and the bones of his fingers sticking out like tiny blades in the tips of his fingers.

Unfortunately, he saw nothing out of the ordinary except his accomplice passed out on the floor. All of the sudden, the vents near the top of the ceiling burst apart, allowing Eraserhead to drop out of it with his goggles over his eyes. Immediately, he nullified the villain's Quirk, but it showed no result since it was a mutant-class Quirk.

Blinking, Aizawa stared down the villain but then looked down to see Izuku hiding behind the counter and staring at him like he was an idiot, not that he could see it though. Not recognizing Izuku, Aizawa just went back to looking at the villain and grabbed the capture device around his neck. But before he could get the chance to use it, Izuku raised his left arm above the counter and shot his taser darts directly at the villain, using one of the Humming-Bot to make sure he was in the right position.

With another one of the villains out for the count, Izuku jumped over the counter and walked along the wall, slowly approaching the vault as Eraserhead untied the hostages and quietly let them go. In the vault, the only female villain at the scene finished stuffing a duffle bag full of wads of Yen and watched the opening of the vault until she saw Izuku. Bringing her hand up, she shot a gun at him, only for the bullet to be blocked as Izuku brought up his metal arm. Although he deflected the bullet into the wall, it felt like an actual bullet just grazed his skin.

"What in the world?" The woman exclaimed, but she wouldn't get an answer as Izuku shot his taser at her, incapacitating the last of the three villains. Grabbing her body with his new arm, Izuku left the bag full of money and handed her, along with the villain with bones coming out of his fingers, over to the officials.

Grabbing his Humming-Bot, Izuku was ready to leave but both Mt Lady and Eraserhead stopped him before he got too far. Keeping a grip on Izuku's shoulder, Mt Lady turned him around and asked, "Who are you and what do you think you're doing?"

"Last year," Izuku paused to try and think of something that wouldn't reveal too much. "The press called me Shockwave, and yet again, I'm doing your job for you." He finished speaking and slipped away from her grasp before he disappeared into the night.

This time, Mt Lady tried to run after him again, but Aizawa finally put together all the details and used his capture device to hold her back. All he claimed was that 'Shockwave' was probably busy and that seemed to be enough to get Mt Lady to stop her attempt.

As for Izuku, he kept weaving through alleyways and streets until he was sure he was out of sight from the two heroes. With no wandering eyes around, he hid and enlarged the camera feed within his mask lens. "Pina, did the other two Humming-Bots find anything?" He asked as he let the third one go again.

"One of them found suspicious figures resembling the suspects from the last Yakuza incident, so it followed them to an abandoned laboratory in the outskirts of town. It would take you approximately thirty minutes to walk there and twenty minutes if you ran there." She informed him as Izuku sighed.

'How I wish I could drive,' Izuku thought before he started running with Pina's guidance.

In an abandoned laboratory, one of Izuku's Humming-Bots watched five Yakuza members drag a little girl with white hair and red eyes into a storage closet before they locked her in there. Then the Yakuza members just waited around, making sure the little girl didn't try to break out, though after a few seconds she stopped trying and the Humming-Bots could faintly pick up her crying.

Outside of the building, Izuku was walking up to it with his two other bots scanning the exterior of the building for any suspicious activity or guards. Thankfully, there were none and Izuku cracked open the door before trying to go in as quiet as possible. But he stopped as soon as he got in, hearing the voices of one of the Yakuza.

"What was that?" A low masculine voice asked to the others.

"I don't know, but someone has to check it out," a feminine voice said this time.

"Tai, go check it out." Ordered the presumed leader of the group in a masculine voice, not quite deep but it was still recognizable.

Whoever Tai was got up and walked out of the room the others were in, but the Humming-Bot kept still in the room and stuck itself near the floor, hiding as a discarded project or tool. Immediately upon hearing the sound of footsteps, Izuku kept his taser gripped tightly in his left hand while reading his right arm to deal a serious blow or block something again.

Walking closer to the source of the footsteps, Izuku waited until Tai got close to the entrance before he punched the gang member in the face with his metal arm. With the same arm, Izuku grabbed the guy before he fell to the ground and laid him down gently before realizing that he accidentally broke the guy's nose.

'Sorry, I didn't mean to!' Izuku thought as he realized he was now in a lounge, albeit very dusty with a few broken furnishings. Nevertheless, he analyzed the building to pinpoint the rest of the members and realized they were on the second floor, which turned out to be an entire lab barren of any chemicals but it still had a few old tools laying around. Moving toward the stairs, Izuku traded out his taser for one of his explosive disks and got ready to throw the disk. "Pina set the disk to level two."

The empty ring on the disk seemed to start glowing a very dull reddish-orange as it started to activate. Pressing the button that resided at the center of the disk, Izuku threw it at the wall on the second floor and made it bounce to land on the second floor, right where the Yakuza members should be.

"What's that?" The low masculine voice asked frantically. His question was answered as the disk blew up right in front of him and had enough force to blast him into a wall head first, knocking him out.

The other three got off a bit luckier with just a little knockback into the old tools, which bruised or scratched their back if anything at all. Then, Izuku ran up the stairs and pulled out his taser on the first member he saw standing, shocking the nameless goon. Now the only two members that were left was the sole female of the group and what Izuku presume to be the boss since they had more gear than any other member of the group.

"It's just a kid! Let's get him!" The boss ordered as he pulled out a knife and the girl seemed to take out a piece of her hair before it sharpened into a blade-like contraption. Running toward Izuku, the boss was punched in the gut with Izuku's metal arm while he dodged the girl's blade.

Ducking down to dodge another slash of the girl's blade, he kept his grip on his taser and slammed it into her abdomen, shocking her until she fell to the ground and lost consciousness. Which left only the boss, who stumbled back to recover from a fist full of metal from Izuku. Without a word, Izuku shot his taser's darts at the boss and kept shocking him until he was unconscious as well.

'That's the last of them,' He thought as he went over to the Humming-Bot that was in the room and attached it back to his utility belt. With one last scan of the room, Izuku went over to the closet that the gang trapped the girl in. "You okay?" He asked as he knocked in the door, only hearing the faint crying of the girl in response. "I'm going to open the door, now."

Slowly, Izuku opened the door as he saw the white-haired girl in the fetal position, crying into her small white dress. "W-What are y-you going to do to m-me?" The girl stuttered out as Izuku dropped down to his knees, getting closer to eye-level to her.

Sighing, he held out his metal arm for her to grab. "I came here to help you. My name is Izuku, what's yours?"

"E-Eri." The girl stuttered once again, not even moving from her position in the closet.

"No need to be scared, I beat up those scary people for you already." He tried to comfort her, yet it still seemed to do nothing. So, he sat down in the closet and used his metal arm to wipe away her tears, then he noticed the horn on the right side of her head and it was glowing.

As soon as he wiped her tears away, Eri seemed more shocked than anything. "W-What?" She stuttered as Izuku grew curious about why she was so surprised, though Eri couldn't see it through his mask. "I-I didn't hurt you?"

Making one last check through the Humming-Bots cameras, Izuku figured that the area was safe and took off his mask. "Don't worry about hurting me, I've been hurt plenty of times." He said as he moved his cloak to reveal his metal arm in all of its glory. "This isn't my real arm, it's something I made to replace it when I lost it a while ago." Despite the saddening story, Eri seemed to have stopped crying and held onto Izuku's metal arm. "So it'll all be okay, I'm here to help."

"R-Really?" Eri asked, her horn's glow dimming ever so slightly until it stopped glowing altogether.

"Yeah, how about you come home with me for the night, would you like that?" He asked in return as he helped Eri up, but she wouldn't seem to let go of his metal arm. At least now, he could feel her grip.

Walking out of the abandoned laboratory, Izuku grabbed his mask and called Inko before he called the police to pick up the trash he left behind. But that night, he took a little girl home, only to discover that her mother disowned her and she had 'killed' her father just days prior to their meeting.
