Today, Izuku Midoriya was once again in his workshop, albeit a much more furnished one with the help of Inko.
Now, the warehouse had a brand new floor attached to the catwalk, but they used the second floor to store spare parts most of the time. While the lounge area expanded slightly to accommodate more people with tv, a mini-fridge, and three couches. Also, the workstation went from one desk to tables along the wall and a few placed around the workshop, though the ones that weren't against the wall usually held Mei's projects.
At the moment, Izuku was using one of the brand new computers to design a disguising system and a cloaking system. So far, he'd been able to theorize how a cloaking system would work, but anyone with keen eyesight or thermal sight would still see him. As for the disguising system, it was going quite poorly.
First of all, Pina did quite a bit of research and she couldn't find much that would allow him to disguise himself as anyone at any time. Of course, she found the classic nanotechnology and the alien tech theory, but not even the best heroes had that kind of thing.
So, he focused on designing a cloaking suit for camouflage, well, until he noticed Mei looking over his shoulder. "Something wrong, Hatsume-san?" He asked with no emotion in his voice, which upset her.
"I heard Pina talking about nanotech and got interested." She replied as he spun his chair around to face her. "You thinking about starting to work on it?" She asked cheekily, only making Izuku sigh as he brought his mask to his face.
"It's been a month and I've barely been able to work on stuff with UA on my mind. So... maybe," he said nervously before attaching his mask to his face. "Pina, facial masking." He ordered before a few sparks started to come from the mask.
Deactivating the feature, he took off his mask and placed it next to the computer. "That's progress at least and it didn't blow up," Mei said, both of them chuckling from her countless inventions that blew up in their faces. "But at least starting the design can't hurt, plus if it does work, you can basically make anything you desire."
"True, but I need an easier way for the time being. Any ideas?" He asked as Mei had a glint in her eyes.
Rushing back to her personal workstation, Mei grabbed a pencil and notepad as she thought of ideas on the spot. "We can start nanotech, maybe just try asking around for some tech, costumes are always a simple option... I got it!"
"Hm?"
"We can make a hologram projector!" She exclaimed as Izuku thought about it and Pina immediately started pulling up sites. "It'll even help with other stuff!"
"Like what?" Izuku asked as Mei threw her notepad and pencil on the table.
"Have you ever watched those Iron Man movies from America?" She asked frantically as Izuku nodded, starting to understand what she was saying. "If we make some kind of drone or attach a projector to our equipment, Pina can show us more accurate images and diagrams! Maybe we can even give her a little holographic body! Let's get to work on it!"
Spinning Izuku around in his chair, the both of them started to design a projector drone and attachment. But of course, they were other things going on in this world of powers, to be revealed in time.

A month later, Izuku was in his uniform for his first day of school, but he had his utility belt on instead of a regular belt. Grabbing his bag, Izuku stood at the door with his hand on the doorknob but stopped as he heard a giggle behind him.
Turning around, Izuku saw his mother in her hero suit and knew immediately that she was the source of the giggle. Looking at the heroine, she crossed her arms under her bosom as she smiled at Izuku. "I'm proud of you, Izu. I've always wanted to see the day when you became a hero and it's getting so much closer." She said while a lone tear ran down her face.
Without a word, Izuku ran up to Inko and brought her into a hug. "I made it! I'm going to UA!" He cried out, still not over the news after a month. Once the two stopped hugging, Inko wiped a tear of Izuku's face before he ran toward the door. "Bye Kaa-san!" He exclaimed as he slid down the railing and started his trek toward UA.
And after half an hour of taking a train and running, Izuku walked into UA and started searching for his classroom. Of course, the most prestigious hero training school had to have the most complicated layout in the world. Thankfully, they provided each student with a map of the campus, but it hardly helped with so many doors and floors.
Eventually, he made it to a door with 1-A painted on the door, though the door was twice as tall as him. Opening the door, Izuku was immediately hit by what felt like a bag with a bowling ball in it. Throwing whatever hit him through the hall, Izuku got up to see an angry girl with pink skin and pink hair, she also had antennae but he was more concerned with what she threw at him. Looking down the hall, a very small purple-haired guy was unconscious with a nosebleed.
Realizing what she did, the pink girl nervously laughed as Izuku looked back and forth between the midget and the alien girl. "W-What happened?" He nervously asked as he stood in the doorway and saw a few other people staring at the scene the girl caused.
"Two words: tiny pervert." She replied as Izuku glanced at the 'tiny pervert' and left him laying in the hallway. "Name's Mina Ashido and sorry about that," she said as Izuku stepped into the class and closed the door behind him.
Before Izuku could introduce himself, a brunette girl tackled him to the ground in a hug. Looking at what knocked him down this time, he saw a familiar brunette girl with a blush applied onto her cheeks and a cute, round face.
"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" She yelled as she hugged him, but he took a moment before realizing who the girl was.
"You're welcome, but... can you let go?" He asked as she got off of him, allowing everyone else in the class to see the boy that karma seemed to affect the most. Though what he did to deserve the surprise attack and affection was still a mystery.
"But really, thank you for saving me during the exam." The brunette girl said while bowing to him. "My name is Ochaco Uraraka, what's yours?"
"I'm Izuku Midoriya," the green-haired boy said as he got up while clutching his head. "It's nice to meet you."
With both of them smiling, the perverted midget was thrown back into the room as someone dragged someone in a sleeping bag. This person was none other than Lure, or Inko Midoriya, and Izuku was less than pleased to see her at school, especially on his first day.
"Alright, find a seat!" Inko ordered as everyone took a seat, but Izuku was frozen in place.
Taking advantage of the situation, Ochaco grabbed Izuku and shoved him into the seat next to her while she sat in the corner. But there was one empty seat left, so Inko threw the tiny pervert again and used her quirk to make sure he landed in the seat, albeit upside down but nothing's perfect.
"Hello, class, as you probably know, I'm the Telepathic Hero: Lure." Introduced Inko after dropping the sleeping bag she was dragging. "But what you may not know is that I'll be one of your two homeroom teachers." Immediately, the class burst into cheers and random shouts, but she only continued when everyone became quiet. "But for now, you all can get to know each other while I leave your other teacher, Eraserhead, to watch over you. I'll see you later~!"
With that, Inko ran out of the room to do who knows what but left twenty teenagers to their own devices. Unfortunately, a pink-haired girl barged into the room. "Where's Midoriya!?" Mei exclaimed before spotting Izuku and dragging him out of the class.
"Should we be concerned?" A blue-haired guy asked to the rest of the class.
"Leave Deku be, he probably got caught for cheating his way in." Answered Katsuki angrily in the opposite corner of Ochaco.
But in reality, Mei dragged Izuku to the Support Department's workshop to give him experimental rocket boots that she had 'perfected' early in the morning. Though anyone else would think that he was ditching, he would prefer to be ditching than taking boots that could blow his feet off.
At least he returned in time to get to the actual lessons, but it was the start of the boring regular classes that even heroes dreaded. Which makes more sense to why everyone was excited near the end of the day since all they had left was their Foundational Hero Studies class. And walking into the class was Inko, but she had a bored look on her face as she stood with three fingers held up.
Then two fingers.
Down to one finger.
And then no fingers.
"I am entering!" Shouted a voice that would belong to a man above men as All-Might the American hero and Symbol of Peace across the world. "Like a normal person!"
'You are certainly not.' Though the mother and son duo that no one realized the relationship between. It was quite disappointing that they didn't make the connections.
"Hello, class! I am your Hero Studies teacher along with Lure who recently came back from America!" All-Might shouted which was absolutely unnecessary yet excited most of the students there. "Today we'll be doing... indoor battle training!"
"Awesome!" Shouted a humanized Pikachu along with Mina the alien girl.
"So, go grab your hero suits and go to Field Beta!" All-Might shouted as Inko pressed a button on the wall, making four shelves come out, each with five briefcases with a number and a name inscribed into them.
Everyone slowly got up as they grabbed their suitcase and walked toward the locker room by following the map they were given. And eventually, everyone was changing in the locker room, but this time Izuku got rid of the pervert problem who found a hole in the wall between the locker rooms. With a group of thankful girls, everyone slowly came out of the locker rooms and went to the Field Beta.
Currently, at the mock city of Field Beta, all of the students were gathered with Inko and All-Might facing them. "Now you all look like heroes!" All-Might shouted.
'Katsuki/Bakugo looks like a villain and the others look like someone's cosplay.' Thought both Izuku and Inko with an unnoticed sigh.
"Alright, we'll have teams of two go against each other. The hero team will try to capture the other team and touch a paper mache bomb. The villain team will either wait until the ten-minute timer is up or capture the heroes. Understood?"
Everyone nodded in response as most of them started to get excited about their match and couldn't wait to get started. But there was still one very important question: what are the teams? And answering everyone's prayers, All-Might pulled out a small box labeled lottery in a crude handwriting that belonged to the giant blonde man.
"To spice things up, we'll use this lottery to pick teams!" Shouted All-Might as everyone slowly picked a slip of paper with a letter on it, signifying which team they were on.
Once everyone got a slip of paper, they found their teammate and Izuku got paired with a purple-haired girl with auxiliary cords connected to her ears. They formed team F, but Izuku still hadn't learned why Inko was there yet no one else seemed to care.
"Let's have team A versus team F first! Team F will be the heroes!" All-Might shouted before leaving the mock city and bringing the other students to a surveillance room, though he didn't tell anyone they were supposed to be going there.
With a few minutes to get prepared, or however long the teachers wanted, both of the teams glanced at each other, recognizing their competition. But once Team A left, Izuku and the purple-haired girl looked at each other's outfits.
The girl, whose name was Kyoka Jiro, wore a leather jacket, leather pants, and boots with stereos built into them. She also had a salmon pink ripped shirt under all that along with a pair of white fingerless gloves.
As for Izuku, he wore a cloak that ended at his ankles and started under his chin. But under it, he wore a muscle shirt, kevlar vest, leather gloves, and a pair of jeans. Though he also had his utility belt, tasers, and mask. The actual mask was all black with plexiglass lenses to see with a respirator built into the rest of the mask and holding it onto his face.
"Edgelord, huh?" Both of them said before laughing at each other.
"Name's Kyoka Jiro. You're Midoriya, right?" She introduced with her hand on her hip and another out for a handshake.
"Yeah, glad to be on a team with you." He replied as he shook her hand. "But what's your Quirk, if you don't mind me asking."
Pointing to her ears, Kyoka extended the cords to point toward her heart. "These cords can amplify my heartbeat or be used to help me hear things better. What about you?"
"Oh... I don't have a quirk, hehe," Izuku laughed as Kyoka looked at him wide-eyed.
"How did you get in? Heroes need Quirks! You're no better than some kid without a Quirk!" She shouted as Izuku went silent and serious.
"Heroes! Villains! The timer starts now!" All-Might shouted over an intercom around the city.
Looking at Kyoka, Izuku kept his serious expression. "Jiro-san, look for the bomb and I'll take care of Katsuki." He quickly ordered before running into the building where the 'villains' were supposed to be.
Kyoka ran after him, but Izuku seemed to be faster than her as he traversed through a mock building floor by floor. Activating his mask, the glass that protected his eyes glowed a faint aquamarine before forming two slitted eyes, though it was entirely for intimidation.
But continuing his search, Pina mapped out the area of the building that Izuku had seen with no trace of the bomb and a few explosions heard from upper floors. 'He's warming up and building up his sweat. I'll have to be careful.' And when he got to the third floor, he got blasted back down the stairs by an explosion. "That's the third time today!" Izuku exclaimed as he got up, his cloak hiding his body.
"Ready for a rematch, Deku?" Katsuki asked, ignoring the joke Izuku made. "Cause I'm not gonna hold back!"
Once Izuku got back up, he walked up to the third floor to fight Katsuki properly while Kyoka tried to sneak around them, but neither of them seemed to care about her presence. Without a second of hesitation, Katsuki charged toward Izuku and went for a right hook aimed for his opponent's head.
"Predictable," Izuku mumbled as he pulled out one of his tasers before grabbing Katsuki's outstretched arm and pulling him by the arm. With Katsuki surprised by the counterattack, Izuku hit him with his elbow and made Katsuki hit the ground.
As Katsuki got back up, Izuku held the taser without his cloak hiding it. "You still have that damn taser." Grumbled Katsuki as he spat out some blood before charging at his opponent again. This time, he used both his hands to sandwich Izuku with two explosions, only for Izuku to duck under the explosions and wince from it.
Punching Katsuki in the gut, Izuku quickly used his taser gun and shot it at him as well, incapacitating the blonde walking nuke. "T-There, one down." He said with a wince from the blast that was just over his head a moment ago. "Let's go for that other guy."
Surprised by the quick battle, Kyoka looked at Katsuki's incapacitated body before following her teammate. But once they reached the fourth floor, Izuku stopped Kyoka from moving and pointed at her ears before pointing to the ceiling. Acknowledging the signal, she plugged one of her auxiliary cords into the wall before hearing the impatient footsteps of their last opponent.
"He's waiting up there. Be careful." She whispered to him as he smirked behind his mask.
"I have a plan, just be ready in case it doesn't work." He said calmly before he pulled small robots out of his utility belt. The three robots he pulled out were shaped like hummingbirds with a very small projector built into the bottom of it.
Then, with a single voice command, the robots disguised Izuku as Katsuki, clothes and all, except for his scowl. But looking around, Izuku didn't see anything out of the ordinary before turning to Kyoka who was surprised once again.
"H-How did you- "
'Katsuki' put a finger over Kyoka's lips, silencing her before he gently pulled her earphone jack out of the wall. "I used a hologram, so I'll sneak up there and I want up to wait at the stairs. If anything touches me this disguise goes away for a second, so I'll try to approach him just like Katsuki would."
Once Kyoka nodded, the two walked toward the next flight of stairs carefully, but 'Katsuki' started to stomp angrily, starting his act. Stepping onto the fifth floor, it was nearly empty except for the fake bomb and a blonde guy dressed like a 90's pop-star.
"Bakugo, what happened?" Kaminari asked as 'Katsuki' grunted while walking closer to the bomb.
"Couldn't find the nerd or that stereo chick." He grumbled as he stood next to Kaminari. All of the sudden, he kicked the humanized Pikachu before grabbing onto the bomb and stopping the hologram to reveal Izuku still cloaked and masked. "But I found out who the winners are."
Grunting in pain, Kaminari tried to get up but felt so much pain from one kick to the ribs, luckily for him, Izuku helped him up as Kyoka revealed herself to both of them.
"The Hero team wins!"
~ But neither will guarantee survival ~
A/N: I know this one is a bit forced and rushed for Izuku especially since he got that cool protagonist act for a while instead of the nervous one I said I was going to use. But he already knew he would win in this fight since he knows Katsuki would be alone and his disguise would trick anyone since barely anyone knew each other.
Again, lots of details stay in my head, like how Izuku has a plan the entire time but never tells Kyoka. Though let's just put it as a case where he wants to keep his secrets to himself.
Anyway, thanks again for reading!
