A/N: This chapter may be a bit short. I wrote out 2k words and accidentally deleted all of it. Then, for some reason, I didn't have any revisions except for the completely blank one. So, I'm a little pissed.

Returning to Waiting Room B, Izuku walked into the room where most of his class was waiting, but Katsuki and Shoto were in a waiting room alone since no one wanted to join them. When Izuku entered, he was given a few congratulations by his friends before he sat down next to Momo, allowing her to hug Izuku.
"I promise you, I love you for who you are." She said as she cried into the crook of his neck.
Hugging her back, Izuku wished he could've gone somewhere private to comfort the black-haired girl, but that might have started a few rumors throughout the school. So, he just hugged her tightly and whispered into her ear, "I know. He didn't mean what he said."
For one more moment, the two stayed in each other's embrace before they returned to watching the live broadcast of the festival. But the two could already see Mina and Ochako coming up with things to ask the couple.
"Hazard... Was that really your son?" Present Mic asked his co-host, still shocked from the battle he had just witnessed.
"I think so," Hisashi replied as he loosened his collar and tried to think of something to say so the audience wouldn't be on the edge of their seats. "But he certainly inherited his mother's anger."
Hearing the snarky comment, Inko glared at her husband and shouted, "I heard that! Don't make me come up there!"
Trying to loosen his collar again, Hisashi wanted to run as far as possible from his wife, hopefully, he could catch a flight back to America if she was still mad at him later. "Like I said, his mother's anger."
'Hisashi, you're done for,' Inko thought before remembering that she still had to host the last event of the festival. "Now, our next match will be between Shoto Todoroki and Hanta Sero!"
Hearing their names get called, the two fighters left their respective waiting rooms quickly with the wishes of luck from their friends. But ignoring the upcoming match, Mina and Ochako moved their seats closer to the couple in the room.
"So, how long have you two been dating?" Mina asked cheekily as Izuku went straight to scratching his nape.
Stopping him from scratching himself with a hand made entirely out of metal, Momo decided to answer the girl's question. "Officially, we have been dating for three weeks." She admitted before a light pink blush appeared on her cheeks. "Though I believe we've had feelings for each other for... much longer than that."
Trying to ignore the three girls, Izuku started to watch the next preliminary match which would be between Shoto and Hanta. Already, Izuku could tell that it would be a very one-sided battle since Hanta's Quirk worked better with obstructions and obstacles in the way than on a flat fighting stage. Nonetheless, he would at least enjoy the next battle between Denki and Ibara Shiozaki, the former being a pervert that can discharge electricity and the latter a girl with vines for hair.
As for the three girls in the room, all of them continued their conversation without Izuku interrupting them. "Have you two gone on a date?" Ochako asked excitedly, already imagining a date between two of the smartest people in the class.
In response the question, Momo thought about her answer for a few seconds before her face reddened and her pupils enlarged slightly. Noticing her expression, Mina ecstatic and said, "Tell us! Tell us, Yao!"
"How do I say it?" She mumbled, trying to buy herself some time before Mina would force her to answer the question. "We had dinner together and Izuku insisted on walking me home, but it started to rain. Instead of calling my chauffeur, Izuku gave me his blazer to keep myself dry, but... he um..."
"He what?" Both girls asked excitedly while Izuku watched Hanta use his Quirk to grab Shoto with a large piece of tape. All of the sudden, a trail of ice quickly formed from the Shoto's right foot, blazing toward Hanta before bursting into a small glacier.
"He was only wearing his white button-down underneath," Momo answered while Izuku pulled out q notepad to record notes about his fellow students and potential opponents.
"Does that mean what I think it means?" Mina asked, hopeful for something much more intimate for a couple on a first date.
Confused by her question, Momo clearly didn't have a single clue to what Mina could be thinking about and might not ever find out what it was on her own. "What do you mean, Ashido-san?"
"Did he carry you like a bride?" She asked excitedly, her eyes looking like stars for a brief moment.
"No," Momo answered quickly, her blush spreading to her entire face just by the thought of Izuku doing such a thing. "We found a coffee shop that was nice enough to let us stay there until the rain stopped." She quickly explained as both Mina and Ochako seemed to lose some of their excitement.
Still ignoring them, Izuku watched as Shoto used the other half of his Quirk to melt all the ice he had created, but the freckled student noticed that Shoto had a gloomy look on his face as he did so, almost like he was remembering a sad memory. Writing it down for later, Izuku heard Denki run out of the room hurriedly for his match.
While he watched the matches, it seemed that the girls decided to change topics since Momo and Izuku only went on one date during their time as a couple. Now, the three girls were talking about the boys that have peaked their interests during the Sports Festival.
"You know, Yao, I didn't really see much between you and Midoriya. I always thought you'd end up with Todoroki," Mina commented with Ochako agreeing to the statement.
"Todoroki-san hasn't shown any interest in anyone, so if he did love someone, he'd go out of his way to help them, right?" Momo asked in return, accidentally insulting Shoto while he was out of earshot. "Izuku has gone out of his way for me without asking for anything in return and he'd do the same for any of his friends. I suppose I like that attribute of his."
With a shrug, Mina leaned back in her chair, "I guess every girl likes something different, but I really took you for someone who likes the stoic and distant prince."
"I don't believe someone like that would be of too much interest for me." The black-haired girl replied as Izuku watched Denki flirt with Ibara, quite terribly too. "What about the two of you? Has anyone caught your eye?"
"I don't think anyone can keep up with me," Mina boasted while Ochako took more time to think of an answer.
Taking her time, Momo and Mina grew curious about Ochako's answer especially since she had to have someone on her mind at this point. "I... I don't really like anyone that way." She admitted with a slight stutter.
Deciding not to pry further, Momo looked at Izuku to see he was too busy watching Denki's Quirk get completely countered by Ibara's Quirk. But Mina as the cupid of 1-A wasn't just going to let Ochako go without telling her.
"Spill it, Uraraka!" Mina yelled for everyone in the room to hear, but like before, they ignored it in favor of watching Denki being disqualified since he overused his Quirk in an attempt to electrocute Ibara.
Walking past Mina, Tenya put his hand on her shoulder and said, "Ashido-san, you shouldn't pressure someone into saying something they are clearly uncomfortable saying. It is highly unjust behavior for someone training to be a hero."
"Fine," Mina complied disappointedly as Tenya walked away so he could be ready for his match.
"Thank you, Iida-kun," Ochako mumbled so hardly anyone could hear her, making her appreciation go unnoticed.
Without anymore gossip going around, everyone watched the rest of the matches in silence while they tried to strategize for their next fight. With some help, Momo and Ochako had thought of a strategy to make up for some of their shortcomings, especially one-on-one combat.
As for Tenya's match, it took longer than most of the other matches but had turned into Mei's personal product showcase instead of fight. Once she had finished showcasing her creations, she stepped out of the area, disappointing both Tenya and Izuku, but at least the blue-haired fighter was going to move on to the next round of matches.
After those two, it was a fight between Mina and Yuga to find out who would move on. During their fight, Ochako started to space out as she imagined how her battle against Katsuki would turn out. Though it wasn't like the brunette had missed too much since Mina quickly made Yuga be forced to concede once she had caused his belt to malfunction.
When Mina returned, it was time for Momo's match against Fumikage and she was shaking before she even got to the arena. Seeing this, Izuku grabbed her hand and stopped her from leaving the waiting room so he could at least calm her down enough to stop her shaking.
"Momo, just remain calm, and remember, Dark Shadow is weak to light." He told her as she tried to calm herself down. She kept trembling though, so Izuku tried something he believed would work, he called upon Serena. 'Serena, can you help calm Momo down?'
Instead of getting a proper answer, Izuku felt his eyes shut forcibly before Serena took control and Izuku's eyes changed so they were now slit and a light shade of green. "Momo, whether you win or lose, I'll... we all will be proud of you. Just try your best, okay?"
"Alright, I'll try my best." She replied before Izuku lost his grip on her and she left to go to the fighting stage.
Sitting back down, Izuku stared at the screen and watched as Momo stepped onto the stage, ready to start the battle. And immediately as the fight started, Momo made a shield to block an incoming attack from Fumikage's Dark Shadow. Blocking a few attacks, Momo made flashbangs and threw it at her opponent to weaken him, allowing her to charge in closer. Once she was close, she was going to create a pole from her hand to push Fumikage out of the arena, but he reacted quicker than she could create her weapon, allowing him to use Dark Shadow and push her off of the stage, securing him the victory.
As soon as the match had ended, Izuku had bolted out of his chair and burst through the door of the waiting room. Ignoring the shouts of his classmates, he ran through the hallways and found Momo right as she had entered the hallway. Still running, he hugged her and didn't let go for a whole minute with only his worry on his mind.
"Izuku, you can stop." She said weakly, clearly not getting enough oxygen into her body. Letting go, Izuku was the one crying when it should have been Momo feeling the most upset about the turn of events. "It's okay. I tried my best, right?"
"Yeah," Izuku stuttered out as Eijiro passed by the couple, trying not to ruin their moment while he went to the stage.
