Hope that he truely has changed.

Speeches are being spoken.
Most of them about being careful.
Staying calm...and growth.

He stands up, a drink in hand and talks.

Talks about how he knew he would be the best (he also thanked people too but no one points it out).

He looks around the room and he sees you.

In the back. An emotion flickers in his eyes.

Your hope slips away.

Murmurs go around asking who is Deku.

You know what he'll say. So you say it with him. Knowing that he hasn't chaged. His smirk telling it all.
