Iida sat on the couch that was located in the common room very late at night. His day was very stressful and he needed cheering up. Removing his glasses, he rubbed his eyes sighing.

 "Bad night Iida?" a voice said as it entered the common room. Iida could make out whose voice that was. The voice belonged to none other than Hanta Sero, his crush. Iida turned around and began to feel bad. Did he wake him up? 

"Sero, I- what are you doing up? I didn't wake you, did I?" Iida said feeling sorry. "No you didn't besides, I would have to be asleep first to be woken up," Sero said with his trademark smile, the smile that Iida fell in love with. 

Sero walked behind the couch and leaned on it. "So, bad day? Want to talk about it?" Sero asked. "N-No, but, thank you Sero," Iida replied sadly sighing, hiding the subtle blush on his face. Sero then started to think about what to do to cheer up the class rep.

"Hey, Iida, lay on the couch," Sero said having an idea. Iida looked at him confused. "That is not how you are supposed to sit on a couch Sero," Iida said. "Just do it," Sero said. He loved Iida and wanted him to smile, even if Iida was headstrong about Sero's idea.

Iida then groaned and laid on the couch. "Ok....now what?" Iida asked before he saw Sero climb over the couch as he landed on top of him. "Hi!" Sero said giggling. "H-Hi," Iida said nervously. He had never been this close to Sero before, it made him have butterflies in his stomach. 

"W-what are you doing?" he asked stuttering. "It's called cheering you up! Is it working?" Sero asked. Then they leaned their foreheads against one another, noses touching as well. If Iida wasn't feeling the butterflies earlier, he definitely was now!  "Y-Yeah, it is," Iida replied, smiling. 

Sero then lets out a little giggle that made Iida's heart skip a beat. "Good, I'm glad," Sero said. They stayed in that position for a bit, only hearing the sound of the clock ticking on the wall. Yet, despite that, it was silence, a pleasant silence. 

Iida then decided that it was now or never. "H-Hey Sero," Iida said, making Sero look at him confused. "C-Can I... can I kiss you?" Iida finally said. "W-Wha??" Sero replied, face going redder than Kirishima's hair and eyes. Did Iida, his crush since the first day of UA, really just ask that? Iida, finally realizing what he had said to the tape boy, goes red.

"I am so sorry!" Iida said looking away. "Iida-" Sero began to say before Iida interrupted him. "That was very wrong to ask I am so-" Iida was saying before he felt Sero's hand on his cheek, causing him to face him. "Prez..." Sero said staring into his eyes.

Then he kissed Iida, who was shocked at the boy's sudden actions. He finally melted into the kiss holding Sero closer. They stayed that way for about a minute until pulling away for air. "You never let me finish speaking," Sero said with a loving smile. Nothing else was said, except 6 words from Iida, which were "Sero, will you be ...my boyfriend?", and 1 from Sero, which was "Yes." 

What happened after that was another kiss. The love that was shared between them now was something warm and comforting. They loved it, as much as they loved each other.
