Buttercup Fields - bnha one-shot(?)
Fantasy!Omegaverse Bakudeku
Daily reminder that my stories make no sense :) I have this idea like a year ago and then suddenly remembered it.
---------------
When Katsuki woke up in a field surrounded by trees with a beautiful green haired omega braiding buttercups in his hair, he figured falling asleep on a hunting trip wasn't the worst choice he made.
The boy had a soft smile resting on plush lips, while freckles littered his face, and from what Katsuki could see, his hands as well. His eyes were closed while the blondes head was laid delicately on his lap.
The alpha decided to speak up.
"What are you doing?" He said, causing the boy to squeak before calming down.
"I'm tending to your messy hair. Now what are you doing here?" Katsuki sat up, looking into the swirling sea of colors within the boys eyes. He had a slight accent, most likely not from the kingdom. Katsuki struggled for a moment to understand a word or two, but managed nonetheless.
"I was hunting, and wanted to sleep. And you know, it's kinda weird to just mess with random people's hair." The alpha growled before being overwhelmed by the scent of roses and honey.
The scent was so sweet and calming, Katsuki felt as though he was floating on clouds. His body went slack as his eye lids slowly got heavier and heavier.
Gentle freckled hands caressed the sides of his head as he began falling, mind fogging up and going black.
A giggle rumbled from the greenette's throat as the previously aggressive blonde became docile in his hands.
"How do you hold so much anger?" He asked rhetorically.
"Maybe because everyone infuriates me." He responded with an unneeded answer. "I shouldn't be talking to you....I don't really know you, and I'm supposed to be back before dusk." He murmured. The setting sun painted their figures in oranges and reds.
"But here you are, barely able to move a muscle because of my scent, talking to a stranger." Katsuki tried to get up, he really did, but the scent of roses and honey brought him back down to feeling like putty.
"Do you have any idea who I am?" He tried to put aggression into his voice, but it came out in a sleepy haze.
"Of course, you're prince Katsuki Bakugou." As the question was answered, Katsuki attempted to release his own powerful pheromones, the smell of firewood and caramel leaked off him. It mixed great with the greenette's own scent, but his efforts to overwhelm him we're futile.
"And don't you fuckin' forget it!" He pointed a finger towards the sky.
The omega cooed at Katsuki. "Awwe, poor sleep puppy. I think you need to head back to the castle." Katsuki's ears flushed red at the name, but his body began moving without commands from his brain.
"I need to head back to the castle." His voice didn't sound like his own, but the words came from his mouth. The boy stood up and began walking with him, pulling him out of the way of tree roots or bushes. Katsuki was sure he would've stepped out of the way, then he remembered his body was still not doing what he wanted.
The greenette had scented him, leaving traces of his rose and honey pheromones on the alpha's clothes. 'That's why I can't do shit right now'. He thought angrily to himself.
Despite being powerless in the situation, Katsuki felt a slightest bit of pride in himself as he looked at how small the green haired omega looked compared to him.
Vermillion eyes rinsed over his body, taking in ever little detail like it was water in the middle of a drought. Birds stopped their chattering and we're replaced by the gentle chirping of crickets, the sounds echoing and making a sweet night orchestra.
The storm clouds that thundered in the distance flashed with lighting, slowly making their way towards the kingdom.
"Hmm, I hope it doesn't rain too much, my oleanders are picky with weather. Oh, and Prince?" The greenette muttered the first part of the sentence, but spoke up more and turned to the prince as the castle came into view.
"I suggest you don't tell anyone about our little encounter. You wouldn't want to mysteriously swallow a wad of white snakeroot in your sleep, would you now. It's quite a painful death." Despite the sweet tone with his words, the greenette's porcelain face was dark and questioning.
"You dare threaten me, omega?" He strained out the correct words.
"I think I do, Alpha. And you aren't going to do anything about it." The boy purred out the words, grabbing Katsuki by the collar of his cape and bringing him down to eye level.
"Right?"
His tone was mocking, almost telling Katsuki that he was not the one in control here.
"Actually, death isn't a good look on you sugar. How about just waking up in a bed full of poison ivy? I'm sure your kingdom would love to see you covered in rashes and blisters." The greenette snapped at him, baring his sharp canines.
Katsuki was not one for listening to others.
He was stubborn, and anyone who tried to tell him what to do was yelled at.
But here, stood before someone, an omega no less, who commanded him and threatened him, he couldn't help but nod and do whatever the boy said.
"Hmm, the big bad wolf isn't as bad as he wants to be."
