"Mother, when I grow up, can I become a hero like All Might?!" I asked excitedly, as I jumped on Mother's lap.

"Of course, F/N." She smiled warmly, hiding the pain behind the generous smile.

"I believe that you can be a hero, so can you be my hero?" She asked, smiling gently. Grinning, I looked up at Mother's E/C's eyes.

"Of course, Mother!" I laughed, hugging her tightly around the waist.

"Thank you, F/N..." She whispered, ruffling my H/C locks.

"I just hope you don't get his quirk..."

"Start exercising, F/N!" Father barked, as I painfully stood up after emptying out my stomach. My three older siblings, Himari-nee, Akio-nii, and Asahi-nii, stood from the doorway, watching with big, fearful eyes.

I glared into Father's cold, lifeless, pink eyes from the cold, tile floor and mustered all my courage and started to shout at him.

"Why the fuck should I?!" I yelled, balling up my tiny fists. His eyes flashed dangerously, and unconsciously, I stepped back.

"This is why you should, F/N." He growled, and sent a ball of black fire to my way.

***PAUSE FROM THE BOOK!!!***

L/N Reo

Description of L/N Reo: Reo is an egoistical man. He is on par with Endeawhor-I mean, Endeavor's bad parenting. Reo is the 3rd hero, and best friends with Endeavor. He forced L/N M/N in a quirk marriage right after college by bribing her family with money. However, like Endeavor, he maintains his image outside of his house, acting like a 'hero.'

Quirk: Shadow Flames

Description of Quirk: Shadow Flames is quite similar to Hellfire. If it wasn't for their appearances, the society would've assumed they were siblings, better yet twins. Shadow Flames was a quirk that produced flames hotter than Endeavors. If he could've controlled it better, he probably would've surpassed Endeavor. Shadow Flames was also formed by the shadows of any sold object, living or non-living. This is why he is most rendered useless in night, due to no shadows as much as the day.

L/N M/N

Description of L/N M/N: M/N is a wonderful woman. She is quite powerful, having a quirk that could get her to the Top 10, possibly the Top 5 if she had chosen the hero path. She had taken the academic path, and wanted to become a teacher. She was so close to achieving her dreams, but Reo had crushed it. Right after graduating from her college, she was going to start looking for job interviews right away, only to be getting a phone call that her parents sold her off to some rich dude. She gave birth to four children, Akio, the eldest, Himari, the second, Asahi, the third, and lastly, you, the fourth.

Quirk: Glacial Manipulation

Description of Quirk: Glacial Manipulation was basically what the quirk is called. The quirk allowed M/N to control and produce glacial things, in other words, ice manipulation. It is different from Rei's quirk since she can only produce ice, but M/N was a bit more powerful, being able to control ice or snow along with making it. If she overused it, her sense of touch would disappear for a day or more, depending on how long she used it.

Your oldest brother, Akio

Description of L/N Akio: Akio is a stubborn but caring child. He is nine years older than you. He was the first 'tool' to be created, but was deemed useless after showing his quirk.

Quirk: Frosted Shadows

Quirk Description: Frosted Shadows is quite a strong quirk, but not strong enough to satisfy Reo. Frosted Shadow allowed the user to frost the shadow of another object, living or non-living. For example, if there was a villain near him, and if he could see his shadow, he could frost it just by looking at it, which makes the villain frozen. The drawback of this quirk was that he would get a fever.

Your older sister, Himari

Description of L/N Himari: Himari was six years older than you and a kind girl. She was the second 'tool' to be thrown away due to her quirk.

Quirk: Glaciate Healing

Quirk Description: Glaciate Healing was a hopeless quirk in fighting, but helpful for medics. The quirk allowed the user to heal anyone, even herself, with ice or snow. However, if she overuses her quirk, she would get fatigue.

Your second older brother, Asahi

Description of L/N Asahi: Asahi was four years older than you. He was a shy, helpful boy, and had an average quirk. He was the third 'tool,' and a failure.

Quirk: Shadow Manipulation

Quirk Description: Shadow Manipulation allowed Asahi to manipulate shadows from any living or non-living thing. It was helpful in the heroics section to make villains stay still, but Reo was unsatisfied once more.

***RESUME FROM THE BOOK***

"AHH!!" I screamed in pain as the black flames engulfed the right side of my eye.

"F-F/N!" Himari-nee shouted, as she started to come close to me. However, Mother beat her there.

"Why must you do this, Reo?! She is just a child!!!" Mother shouted angrily, as tears seeped down her pale face.

A loud slap was heard, and Mother was holding onto her cheek while kneeling on the floor, wincing. I looked in rage and disbelief Father, and rushed over to Mother.

"Are you ok, Mothe-" I started as tears rolled down my cheeks, but was interrupted by Father slapping my cheek as well.

"Heroes don't cry, F/N." He said, looking down at the two of us in annoyance.

"And M/N, don't disturb F/N's training lesson." He muttered only so we could hear, and left the room, stomping.

"Mommy! F/N!" Akio-nii, Himari-nee, and Asahi-nii ran over to us, and Himari-nee started to heal us while the boys hugged us.

"I-I'm sorry, Mommy, F/N!" Akio-nii cried, as he draped his arms around our shoulders.

"I'm the worst son ever!"

"I'm so sorry!"

"I'm the worst big sister you could ask for! My useless quirk can't even heal this burn!"

"I-It's okay, Himari-nee, Aki-nii, Asahi-nii! Having a scar like this is nothing!" My voice wavered as I smiled.

"I'm fine! You four are the best children ever." Mother cried, as she too put on a shaky grin.

Little did I know was that she was not fine at all.

One year later...

"Mother! Mother! I got your quirk!" I exclaimed proudly, as I produced a ice swan in my left hand.

Mother smiled the brightest I have ever seen before, and a little bit of...relief?

"That's wonderful, F/N!" She beamed, and pulled me into a hug. Ever since the 'incident,' I had an ugly red scar on my pale skin, so it stood out quite a lot. Luckily, my E/C eyes were not damaged.

"I'm happy I have your quirk, Mother, even though it's only on my left hand!" I smiled, as I also wrapped my small arms around her back.

One week later...

"M-Mother?!" I said desperately, standing in front of the mirror as I held my hair in the bathroom.

"What happened, F/N?!" She yelled, as she burst in the room.

She watched with fear in her eyes as my H/N hair split in half, so it was white on the left side and black on the right. My own eyes widened as my left eye became blue and my right a dark red.

"N-No way, b-but the doctor said that your quirk would be-!" She was interrupted by Father stomping into the bathroom.

His emotionless eyes became as big as saucers in surprise.

"Well, what's this?!" He grinned maniacally, as black flames burst on his facial hair.

"Looks like Doctor Hinashinto was wrong! You have both our quirks, don't you?!" Father smiled eerily once more, giving me the chills.

At that time, I didn't know what hell would await me...
