"Are you sure Sero didn't want to come? Or are you just covering for him?"

"Dumbass I told you already! He said he was tired and he'll hang out another time.. damn you are nosey."
Bakugou muttered while taking a sip from his lemonade. It was a typical night for the Bakusquad, they all were going out to do something fun!

Last week was the arcade and this week was a restaurant! They all were ready to go until they realized Sero was taking more time then usual.. Kirishima went to his dorm and was greeted with a very tired Sero.
He insisted that he was tired and that he'd join them another time.

And that's all was said between the two. Kirishima didn't really want to push it because he knew that feeling too. Sometimes the social battery needed a recharge! However, most of the Bakusquad had their suspicions.

"Maybe he's getting some extra credit from Mr. Aizawa? He did say he needed some extra lessons in Algebra."
Mina said whilst turning the wheel to her car, out of all them, Sero and Mina were the only ones who had their license yet.

"Nah, he looked pretty tired at the door. Plus he was in his pajamas. He wouldn't go to study in that."
Kirishima insisted in the back seat whilst eating some of his leftovers.

"Yo, Bakugou you guys share a dorm, have you noticed he's been a little off lately?"
Denki shifted over from his seat to rest his head on the head cushion of Bakugou's seat. Bakugou quickly pushed him off.
"No, I don't. You guys are probably just looking to deep into it. He's fine."

"It doesn't feel the same without him though! We need all of us."
Mina whined, Sero was usually her eating buddy. They always shared food together because sometimes the portions were too much.

"I mean there's always next week! We can always catch a new movie or something?"
Denki suggested, trying to brighten the mood. "I guess so.." Mina muttered.

Bakugou was in his own head, why did he not come? He get Sero said he was tired but that has never stopped him before. If anything that was his type of excuse.
"Soy sauce and the others always stay up late..what made it different today?"
He thought to himself while music was blasting through the car. He smiled at his friends having a good time, but he wasn't going to be satisfied with just thinking he's tired. He wanted to know more.

~Timeskip: Back at UA~
8:30pm

"Goodnight Oldman! Check on Sero for us okay?!"
Denki shouted from across the hallway, Kirishima and Mina laughing at his little remark.
"Shut up!"

Bakugou heard the other two say Goodnight to him as well before leaving to their rooms. He knew that they weren't going to be sleeping for awhile. With his hands in his pockets he continued to walk in the now quiet hallway. Everyone must have been out with family, friends, or maybe just doing their own thing.
It was so quiet that even the silence seemed loud. It didn't bother Bakugou though, if anything he preferred the quiet sometimes.
His eardrums have to go through enough when using his quirk all day.

After all of the walking he's finally made it to his dorm room, he saw the dorm light was on..
"Tch.. damn liar."
He mumbled. He leaned in towards the door to find out if he could hear anything coming from the room, no luck. He shrugged and simply unlocked the door with his keys and walked in.

"Sero, what happened to be tired huh? If you just didn't want to come you could've said that-"

"Baba!! Baba!!"
Sero exclaimed. He kicked his feet happily and made small babbles. He reached out his hands for Bakugou, he kept babbling "baba" over and over like he was trying to say the blonde's name.

Baba.

That's all Bakugou needed to hear to understand what was going on. Sero ended up regressing when they were away.. how though?
Bakugou usually can tell right away when Sero is about to regress. He's been helping take care of him ever since he found out Sero was a little 4 months ago. He's been getting better at noticing signs for when Sero was between headspace's, but this time it was like it didn't even cross his mind.
Of course he knew that Sero could regress any time he wanted to. That wasn't the problem at all! He just felt a little guilty for not being there for Sero.

"Hey buddy, how have you been?"
Bakugou smiled and walked towards the regressed boy on the bed, he cupped Sero's cheek and ruffled his messy hair. He giggled and leaned in to Bakugou's warm hands, they felt rugged and dry.. but Sero didn't mind. The affection sent him into a feeling of bliss.

"Sorry I was away little guy, I wish you could've called me.." Bakugou didn't hold that against Sero, he noticed that Sero wasn't saying any words. Just broken words and babbles, he must've regressed really young.

"You should be asleep, little man. Let's get ready for bed." Bakugou lifted Sero up with ease and laid him down on the bed. He went under Sero's bed and got out a box of Sero's little stuff.
He was very private about this. He didn't want anyone else knowing decides Bakugou, Jirou, and himself.

Bakugou got out a pull-up, a long-sleeved legless onesie, and a pair of sweatpants.
"I'll make this quick, sorry if it gets cold bud."
Before changing him Bakugou handed Sero his stuffed bear, he squealed and took it happily. He made it dance on his tummy and waved his hands around. In his own little world the bear was a hero saving everybody, all the citizens were thanking him and giving him praise.
His bear saved thousands of people! Mr.Bear always knew how to save the day or make people smile.

"All done, Bub. Thank you for being good for me."
Bakugou lifted Sero into his arms again and started to rock him back and forth a bit to help him get tired. But there was no sign of him sleeping soon. His dark eyes were wide open staring at him, laughing and babbling words to Bakugou.

Bakugou sighed and shook his head, a little smile creeping from his face. "What's got you all riled up, hm? Maybe the lights off will help you."
Bakugou placed Sero in his bed, tucking him in the soft and warm blanket.
He walked over to the Tv and turned off the lights go the dorm, everything was now pitch black.

Sero whined a little out of fear, the lights were just on! He hated just being in the dark. But he calmed down slightly when he heard Bakugou's voice, "Sssh, Sssh, it's okay.. I'm coming."
Bakugou was true to his word and laid down in the bed next to Sero, the regressed boy instantly clung on to him. Bakugou cursed to himself realizing he forget to brush his teeth.. plus he really didn't want to sleep in clothes he was outside in. But he knew Sero wasn't going to let go anytime soon, so he just shrugged it off. There was always the morning.

He could feel small shuffle movements coming from the little one, he held him close and started to shush him softly. "It's okay, I'm here. Rest your eyes buddy, try and close your eyes."
Small whines came from Sero whilst he tried to get in a comfortable position. But it didn't take him long to find the perfect spot.. because his mind felt so at peace. He hardly ever falls this deep into his regression  like this. But when he does, it's like his whole body feels at peace.

"There you go, kid. Rest your eyes."
Bakugou patted Sero's back gently to help soothe the regressed boy. Eventually, all he could hear was soft snores from Sero. Bakugou smiled, "Sweet dreams, kiddo."
He pulled some of the blankets close to him snd started to get comfy himself. He made sure that Sero got a good amount of blankets too though!

Bakugou allowed his eyes to droop down..
Letting his mind and body get the rest it so rightfully deserved.
