Second to None.

It was finally time for Koda and Yukina to act as the villains against Aoyama and Ashido who were heroes. Yukina looked at her partner, unsure how to properly communicate to him as he shook nervously. She couldn't just do the same as what her brother did, as much as she wanted to the others could expect that. As well as the two out ther had quirks that would easily get them out of the situation.

Yukina just turned away, not even opening her mouth to the silent classmate of hers. She'd end this quickly when they entered the room, that's how they would win. Or better yet.

"Wait here." Was all she said as she walked out the door. A nervous look coming from Koda as she left him alone. She was in the hall easily waiting until she heard the footsteps get closer. She raised her icy arm, and shot a full force ice beam towards the upcoming 'heroes.' Both were practically encased in it, unable to use their quirks to get out. She blinked at them, holding up the tape to her view.

"Do I still put these on?" She wondered aloud, before shrugging and making her way over. Making it easy when she bound the two in capturing tape. The round went to the villains again. Koda slightly slouching in relief that he didn't have to fight his classmates. The ice thawed from Yukina's other half, before the rest of the teams went against each other. Finishing up the class for the day.

Midoriya had been left in the medical lounge the rest of the day due to the damage in his arms. The last class of the night seemed quieter as people thought of their scores from the previous test. Bakugo seemed to be seething in his seat, angered with the events, and Sakura could tell he could blow up at any moment. Pun not intended.

She kept sending him glances, as well as looking towards Shoto. Shoto didn't seem happy about the situation either. His sister was able to easily get through the test with no issue, it was his fault for not thinking ahead of what the winged girl could do. He clenched his hand as they sat through the last lecture. Ending the day in silence.

Sakura took her sweet time packing up, deciding it was best to take it slow on the way back to the house tonight. The older Peppermint twin needed to cool off, and Sakura hoped that the younger would be able to do that. She dragged herself outside to notice Midoriya, who was now wearing an arm sling.

He was confronting Bakugo, and Feathers couldn't help but overhear the determination coming from the young hero-in-training. A competitive side of her was sparked to see how he looked over his classmate. He would no longer be 'Deku' the loser, but a true hero.

Sakura smiled at him, before continuing on. Taking the subway back to the home she was staying at. It was her night to make the dish she wanted to. The supplies were there for her, the bamboo skewers, chicken, and miscellaneous vegetables. She was going to make some Yakitori for the people who were, mostly kind enough, to allow to live with them.

It took some time but eventually she called to Fuyumi who then got her twin siblings, and the four of them sat to eat. She had put her own twist on the meal, with a mix of unusual spices for the type of food she made. The twins looked over the meaty skewers with no readable expression. In the end their stomachs won over the stare down of the food as they took their first bite.

Yukina couldn't hide the surprise that caused her eyes to expand, as she looked over the food she just stuffed into her mouth. Even Shoto, who was always expressionless, now had a look of interest in his normally dull eyes. Fuyumi's eyes shot to their guest a smile spreading across it.

"You have to teach me how you did this meal. Especially when you made Shoto react like that." She whispered the second sentence to her as Sakura just grinned at her. Her pink wings somewhat fluffed behind her as Shoto kept eating his meal, his stony look now showing a hint of a smile.

Yukina couldn't help but continue to eat until she stuffed herself. She turned to Sakura when she was sure she was finished.

"This meal was quite the taste. I didn't know Yakitori could taste so different the way you make it. So thank you for the meal." Yukina glanced to Shoto, who was just finishing up himself.

"I suppose it wasn't terrible." He muttered slightly, not wanting to admit that she was not only better in class, but a great cook as well. Sakura took the compliment, stopping Fuyumi into going through another rant about respect. She thanked both of them for enjoying the meal as she started to snag the plates.

"Ohoho no." Fuyumi stopped her, eyeing the twins before they left. Halting them in their tracks. "The best way to thank Feathers for such a great meal is by doing the dishes tonight for her."

"They don-"

"Feathers."

"... okay." Sakura sighed in defeat. Perhaps this is better, she'd be able to do that call to Keigo then. Perhaps she'd be able to catch him inbetween capturing of the villains. She stood from the seat she was sitting. "I'll head back then."

The twins took the dishes and started washing them begrudgingly. They weren't really annoyed, as it didn't matter to them either way. It was more on a preference. Yukina and Shoto sat in a silence for a brief time of their washing. Shoto was the first to speak.

"You did well in hero training." Was all he said to Yukina, who glanced over at her twin in a slight shock. A small smile creeped over her as she felt thankful.

"Thanks. However the students were far more interested in your power. You froze that whole building in seconds. You are far superior in your Ice the I am. I was so focused on fire before..." her voice drifted off as Shoto seemed slightly distant.

"I was reckless. I thought I'd be fast enough to freeze Feathers with her partner. And even then when I made myself to their room I didn't even think of where she would had been. I only saw her partner and got cocky." Shoto stated, still mad at himself for messing up so hard. "If that was real, the villains would had gotten more hostages and I would had been killed easily. I'll have to work better and harder to overcome Feathers."

"We can work together for that Shoto. We just have to think differently. No more showing off." Yukina nodded, agreeing with herself as she explained to Shoto. Shoto glanced at his sister, a new found determination in his dual colored eyes. A ghost of a smile was shining towards her, and Yukina couldn't help but feel just as determined.

The two finished the dishes before they went back to their rooms to rest. It would be a new day tomorrow, and they had to be ready for it. Meanwhile Sakura paced her room, it wasn't a nervous pacing, but sitting still was not something she really wanted to do at this time.

"Figures that son of Endeavor's would try to pull something like that." The laugh on the other end of her phone showed. Hawks had listened to his sister's story of her time at the academy so far. Feathers on the other hand seemed to be in a thoughtful daze while talking, her mind almost drifting and not really knowing all she was revealing to her brother.

The phone call seemed short, as if the older sibling didn't exactly have much time, even if it was getting to sunset. However with the whole hero business, sleep isn't always an option. Sakura wasn't quite sure why, but she didn't really feel fully convinced that something wasn't up with her brother, but she decided not to push it for now. Instead she climbed into bed and began to rest.

─── ❄️ ·🔥· 🪶 ───

The next day the school was swarmed with reporters. Feathers was swarmed by them asking questions of All Mights teachings and how he was fairing.

"Uhh-" Feathers never really did good in front of cameras. She was pretty sure that Keigo had made her allergic to the fame. Too much and it could cause problems. To her relief Mr. Aizawa had come over and essentially relieved her of the attention.

She used it to inch away as they practically begged Aizawa to get All Might to come do an interview. To no avail as they were shooed away. A sigh of relief came as she made it to home room nicely. Aizawa had started the class off by commenting on the Hero Course the day before.

"Let get down to business then," he started after the whole thing was over. "Our first task will decide the future of you all." A sudden tense aura spread throughout the area. "You need to pick a class rep." Oh thank the lord. The sighs of relief almost harmonized.

Everyone started talking at once, wanted to be picked for class rep, Feathers just sweat dropped as they were all practically begging for it. How is anyone gunna be class representative through this mess. Even Bakugo demanded it.

"Silence!" Iida got the classes attention as everyone calmed down briefly. "The class rep's duty is to lead. That not something that anyone can do. You must have the trust of every student first. So I say why don't we put this to a vote!" He was shaking, still he had raised his hands like the others in a want to also be class rep.

He's got a point though. And he's pretty logical about it. Although Feathers was interested, she already knew she'd vote for Iida. To her he seemed capable enough and was quite smart all together.

The debate started as Aizawa got into his caterpillar like state in his sleeping bag. Working to sleep while the kids decided their fate. The votes were on.

The results happened about 5 minutes later. Mostly everyone had voted for themselves, however the three were, Izuku with 3 votes, Momo with 2, and Feathers with 2. Iida sadly only ended with 1 vote, the one from Feathers of course. However Iida seemed happy at least he got 1.

"Huh?! How did I get three votes!!" Midoriya seemed extra nervous about it, even if he did vote for himself. The man didn't seem like he'd get more then his own. Bakugo, to no surprise at all, seemed annoyed with this outcome.

A scoff came from Feathers, "you'd think someone who explodes at every comment would get voted for?" Bakugo turned to Sero and Feathers, who both made comments about him. Shouting annoyingly.

One second later Midoriya was shaking in front of the crowd, however there was a 2 way tie for second. Momo looked to Feathers and she waved her away. "You're way better strategically speaking Momo, you can take deputy." She just looked in shock but nodded and walked to the front to stand next to him.

"You sure it's not a mistake?" Midoriya said with chattering teeth. A sigh just came from Momo as she looked at the one she came second to. Soon it came to lunch.

Feathers had sat again with Midoriya, Iida and Ochaco. Midoriya was already expressing his concerned for the class rep.

"Shouldn't had voted for yourself then Midoriya." Feathers feasted with a smile as she glanced at him from the side. His face went read as he stammered a bit.

"R-right, I guess I just didn't expect to be voted for." Midoriya was saying. Iida spoke up after Midoriya, trying to ease his stress.

"You'll do great, you think quick under stress, that will make you a worthy leader. You also demonstrated lots of strength, that's why I voted for you." Iida stated as Ochaco put her word in.

"Didn't you want to be rep badly? You do have glasses so you'd fit the part. . ." Izuku sweat dropped at her comment, as Sakura just couldn't help but let out a laugh.

"Wanting a job and being suited for it are different things Ochaco."

"But you are suited for it." Feathers commented after taking a drink.  "You were able to ring in all the students to do a vote in the first place, and you stated logically why it was such a good idea. You were quite the leader in there I would had said. It's why I voted for you."

Iida seemed thankful for this comment.  As the four continued Iida had mentioned his family, going into an explanation of who they were. Continuing their conversation before a loud bell started ringing.

"Huh?"

"What's that?"

"WARNING, LEVEL 3 SECURITY BREACH."  The warning announcement started.

"No way-"

"All students please evacuate the building in an orderly fashion."

A few people stood up to run as Iida turned to the person next to him. Asking for an explanation.

"It means someone's manage to get past the barriers. I've been here three years and this hasn't happened. Let's go!" The student didn't leave in an 'orderly fashion.' In fact no one has most people were running and yelling.

At the same time the hallways were extremely crowded, so much so that Feathers just started flying above her friends to avoid being squished with her wings. She winced as she saw the three metaphorically become squished fruits.

Feathers glanced out the window, and rolled her eyes to see it was literally just the press that had been swarming outside. She called down to Iida and the others.

"It's not any attack, just those Reporters that were outside earlier." Feathers informed, Iida was trying to get some words out but the wave of students was just to strong. Most of 1-A were being drowned in the people.

Iida tried scorching through everyone before an idea popped in his head. "Feathers! Can you pick me up!" Feathers blinked at him briefly, before understanding where he was going with this.

"Yea here, grab my arms," she started grabbing him by the wrists before pulling upward above everyone. Good thing I've been doing that lifting, man he's heavier then I thought. She clenched her eyes closed but managed to use some of her feathers to lift him up easier.

"Get me in front of everyone!" Iida started, as Sakura pushed herself and Iida forward towards the exit sign. She couldn't hold on forever she winced as she tossed him forwards.

"Sorry Iida!" She called before Iida crashed into the wall, landing on the exit sign. She sent her feather to pin his clothing up there so he could gain his footing. He turned to everyone after holding onto the pipe above him.

"EVERYTHING IS OKAY!" Iida had shouted, making everyone in the hall stop. They all looked up at him  as he was balancing on the exit sign when he was explaining. "It's just the Media outside, there's nothing to worry about. We're UA students, we should be remaining calm and proving that we're the best of the best."

The students started to calm down as Midoriya looked up at Iida with a smile. As the issue had started to resolve. After the commotion died down everyone had returned to class.

"Alright class rep- it's time to start." Momo was urging a shaming Izuku to speak, as he looked down when he started.

"Alright it's time to decide the officers, but before that. I think Iida should be the Class representative. He was the on that captured people's attention and calmed everyone down. So he should be leading our class from now on!" Feathers had nodded in agreement as she looked to the shock Iida. The whole class started agreeing to which Iida stood to accept the job.

Yukina seemed to roll her eyes, she had glanced at Feathers, who was one of her votes. She was a little annoyed she had just 'passed' it on to Momo after the two had the same amount. Yukina would never admit it to her face but she thought of the winged hero-in-training to be a natural born leader. In reality she didn't care who won, as long as it was over now.

That was the first half of the day, just a lot of debate and election stuff. Feathers couldn't wait for it to be done with. She just wanted to get to Hero training today. However she didn't realize what was really coming.
