Power Transfer

Keigo watched the new coverage of the USJ incident. Humming in thought as he glanced at his phone. The Commission had called him to another meeting. He thought about his younger sister, Sakura, wondering what would have happened if he had allowed the Commission train her like they did him. When Keigo had found out he had a little sister at the age of eight he was already intelligent enough to make a request to the Commission. He didn't want her involved, hoping she wouldn't turn out like him.

Although Sakura was very aware of his connection to the Commission in the later years, Keigo was keen on keeping her out of the problems and jobs. Even more when Keigo found out that her quirk turned to be similar to his. The Commission was keen on expanding on her potential, when Keigo realized there was more to her quirk than his, he worried even more. The Commission acted like hungry vultures, but Keigo tried his best to keep her out of the limelight.

It had been one whole day since Sakura had called him, and with him doing missions for the Commission, he hadn't had time to contact her until now. He picked up his phone and pressed the call button.

Sakura picked up in a second, calling to Shoto and Yukina. "I'll catch up!" Keigo could hear as she sounded more clearly when talking directly into the phone. "WHAT THE HELL K-HAWKS?! Why'd you go all dark on me you jerk! Was it the Commission again- I swear. . ."

Keigo winced at Sakrua's tone. He leaned back in his chair, his feet up on his desk as he thought for a moment. It was still nice to hear his sister's voice. He decided to go for the aloof expression.

"What? Nah! I was pretty busy with some hero work, relax!" Keigo was saying, a smirk on his face.

"Usually, you still answer your phone when you are doing hero work . . . Whatever, I'm glad you're okay. I assume you already saw the news, the whole USJ incident, right?" Keigo lost his smirk, looking down towards his feet as he held his phone.

"Yeah. Did you get harmed?"

"Of course not, I'm not dumb. However, it was quite an encounter." Sakura sighed, "Whatever that beast was made of, that Nomu was able to counteract my Manipulation. Even if the thing couldn't think for itself." Sakura looked ahead of herself, Shoto and Yukina were walking ahead of her as they were making their way to the subway.

Yukina glanced back at her briefly, and when she noticed she was still on her phone the Todoroki turned back after sending a small wave. Yukina continued to talk to her brother as Sakura listened on her phone.

"Your Manipulation. . . it's not often you use that ability. The same can be said for it to be used against you. However, you wanna give me the whole run down of what happened?" Keigo leaned forward, focused on her sisters next words. Sakura thought for a moment, did she really want to tell him?

"What, and make you worry more? No thanks. All that matters is that everyone was okay in the end of it." Sakura declared. It wasn't often that she kept stuff from Keigo, he was her usual confidant, but with her being so far from home she wasn't sure why he needed the information. He'd figure some other way to get it sure, but Sakura didn't really want to be reminded of someone else controlling her, and didn't want Keigo to hear of it either.

"Saku-" Keigo started, almost shocked that his sister didn't spill.

"Sorry Hawks, I gotta go, the Todo-Twins are waiting for me." Sakura interrupted as she said her goodbye, before hanging up the phone. Keigo looked down at the device as he pulled it off of his ear. He moved his goggles out of the way and wiped his eyes briefly. She gets that stubbornness from me. He grumbled to himself.

"ALL RIGHT ITS TIME FOR HOMEROOM EVERYONE TAKE YOUR SEATS!" Iida was shouting at everyone, everyone just stared at him as Kirishima spoke up.

"You're the only one not sitting Iida." At this Iida sat down and looked slightly dejected.

"I wonder whose gunna teach class today." Someone mentioned as a debate started. However the door just slid open and in came a bandaged hero. Mr Aizawa was back.

"Morning." He said, slightly muffled by the bandages. The whole class seemed extremely shocked about the revelation.

"It good to see you all right sir!" Iida had said, Feathers blinked at him.

"You call that all right?" She had said, looking at Aizawa. The teacher was covered from head to toe in bandages. It was surprising for him to have the ability to see anything. Wow, that's a real Pro.

"Enough worrying about me, there's something else your mind should be focusing on. Your battle isn't over yet." Aizawa's muffled voice continued. More villains?? "The U.A.'s sports festival is quickly approaching."

The class erupted in surprise, A Sports festival, after what happened? Feathers hummed at this, it would relieve some stress for the students. Be a good challenge for them.

"But wouldn't the Villains just infiltrate the school again?" Ojiro mentioned as Aizawa reassured the class.

"Since they decided to go ahead with the sports festival it shows the school is confident that everything is in order. As well as the police presence being five times than normal. What your focus should be on is the huge chance you'll get from the Festival." Aizawa explained, Mineta still had his worries. It led Izuku into a explanation of what the sports festival was and what it meant for heroes in training like them.

The opportunity of getting scouted. Sakura seemed lost in thought at this moment, being scouted was pretty handy to get noticed. She just smiled and knew it would be her current life goal to win this years Sport's festival. She glanced at Bakugo who just had a smirk on his face, and she could tell he would be some hard competition. Not to mention the two Todoroki twins.

The rest of the day went by normal, and Sakura kept glancing towards Bakugo, an idea popping into her head. When the lunch break came around the class started pumping themself up. As Sakura stood to walk over to Bakugo.

"Deku, Iida, Feathers." Sakura stopped briefly as Ochaco said her name in a low tone. "Let's crush this sports festival." She said darkly, a focused look on her face. Sakura couldn't help but let out a slight laugh. The three nodded and agreed. However when they invited Sakura to come eat with them she called back.

"One moment guys!" She said as she finally turned back to Bakugo. "Hey Poprock."

"What do you want Birdbrain." Bakugo growled as he was gathering his things.

"I know you don't 'owe' me or anything, but I got a request for your spiky haired self." Sakura continued, earning a look from him. He just wanted the annoying girl to get to the point. "Beat me up!"

"What the." Bakugo blinked, pretty confused by the request. "What kind of stupid request is that Birdbrain?! Are you really that dumb?"

"Nope!" She said poping the 'p' "I mean, I need help with my combat training, and well, you are pretty good at that. So beat me up yea? It will be useful for both of us."

Bakugo looked over the winged blond. He could tell this was mostly to figure out how he fought and maneuvered, but in his mind this worked both ways. He'd be able to see the full extent of how this winged quirk worked. And although it would be a hell of a hassle, and a lot of trouble, he grumbled in agreement.

"Fine, but I'm not holding back."

"Wouldn't expect you too! Meet me at the gym after class! I already have it reserved for the week." Sakura smirked, at first she was planning on reserving it to practice alone, but it helped out when she thought of the idea. The festival was about two weeks away, and she wanted to be ready. She ran out to meet up with her friends, as Izuku seemed interested.

"What were you talking to Kacchan about?" He inquired.

"Oh I just asked him to teach me some moves, he agreed." Sakura smirked at him.

"Kacchan did?" Izuku was genuinely surprised before he remembered what he was going to ask. "Oh yea! Uraraka! Why did you want to become a hero?"

"Actually." Ochaco seemed slightly embarrassed as she put a hand at the back of her hand. She started to explain, how she was in it for the money. About how her parents run a construction business and not having much business lately. So she wanted to make money for her family. Feathers applauded the cause. As Izuku turned to Feathers next a familiar voice called out to them.

"There you are! Midoriya, my boy!" His boy? Sakura turned. "And Miss Feathers too!" Sakura looked around and than back, pointing at herself confused. Me? "Care to eat with me today?"

This is it then hm? Sakura glanced at Midoriya who just nodded, she supposed it was time to talk to All Might after seeing what form he was. Feathers sighed and agreed, saying their goodbyes to the other two as she followed Midoriya into the lounge.

They sat in silence for a second as Feathers glanced between the two. If she really wanted answers she could use their feathers to get them, but what's the sense of privacy then. All Might was in his weak skeletal mode and this made Sakura think for a moment.

"All Might. . . Is Izuku your son?" She broke the silence. As All Might coughed up blood in shocked. Midoriya also looked at her surprised. That's obviously not it. "Perhaps I got it wrong. It's just, I heard what Midoriya said when he talked about punching that Nomu. About how his punch didn't work on him and how concern he was when you were going to fight it. But that wouldn't make real sense to mention it unless you both had the same quirk or something. Like All Might saying "my boy" too, you kinda raised the question."

"No." Small Might said. "It's a bit more complicated than that." All Might wasn't sure on what to say to Feathers about his quirk One for All. However with how she deduced that Izuku and him may have the same quirk, she may be more perceptive to tell if he was lying in the first place.

"I don't fully have a place in asking anything Sir, apologies. It's just a bit confusing why you wanted me here." Sakura shrugged. All Might looked over the young winged hero-in-training and started explaining. Went into detail, his injury, on how he was limited in being in his hero form, and how he encountered Midoriya. In the end he did explain everything, One for All, giving the power to Midoriya, everything. It sort of confused Sakura, why would All Might reveal such a huge secret to her?

"That's a lot." She mumbled.

"Yea, and now after the Nomu fight I can only stay in that form for a total of fifty minutes." Feathers blinked, a worried pit in her stomach knotted.

"F-Fifty minutes?!" Midoriya said, was this because they couldn't get away? Because they didn't help him fight? The guilt slightly grew as he continued.

"If I try and stretch it I can probably maintain it for a total of an hour and a half." He was explaining to Midoriya, probably bringing up the seriousness of his condition. The green haired boy looked down while gripping his knees.

"I- I'm so so-" he was about to say before All Might interrupted him.

"You don't need need to apologize. There are more important things to talk about. The sports festival- with how you are now, you can't use One for All. So what's your plan?" Sakura glanced at Midoriya. She now could connect the dots on why the boy was breaking so much when using the quirk he obtained.

"Actually, now that you mention it, once I used it against that Nomu I didn't break my arm." He mumbled, looking at his hand in thought.

"What was different this time?" Sakura asked tilting her head, maybe she'd be able to help where All Might couldn't when it came to training with Midoriya. There was no answer at first as Midoriya thought about the moment.

"It was the first time I used my quirk on another person." Sakura placed her hand on her chin, thinking for a moment.

"You subconsciously held back." All Might pointed out, as he nodded. Sakura having a slight light bulb go on in her mind. "But as it stands now I don't have much time left to stand as the Symbol of Peace. There no doubt the Villains have noticed. The reason I gave you this power was to pass the torch, for one day that you can say 'I am here!' Like I have"

Sakura didn't envy Midoriya, in fact she felt horrible. It was a lot of weight All Might was putting on the boy's shoulders. He was only what, fourteen? And All Might expected him to just become the next Symbol of Peace.

"We have two weeks." Sakura was saying, "two weeks before the festival. This week I asked Bakugo to work with me. But by the sounds of it I have another week where I can help." Sakura looked to Midoriya, who seemed stress after the proclamation All Might gave him. "I think I have an idea on how to help you with your destructive self. After hearing the comment that you self consciously held back I think I'd be able to assist in you doing so again with my own quirk." She mentioned, spreading her wings behind her.

"Your quirk?" All Might and Midoriya questioned. How would her pink wings help the young man work. Sakura hummed to herself, and nodded. The Number One hero trusted her to give her the information of One for All, the least she could do was give it back.

"Most people believe Hawks and I to have the same quirk, 'Fierce Wings', but to be honest that's not it at all. Yes we both have wings, but the two quirks could be anything but. Hawks is able to fully control and use his feathers as sharp weapons. He can hear vibrations with his feathers too, to get a better feel for what people are saying or doing. My feathers can't exactly do that type of scouting, with the vibrations and all that. My quirk has a different name. 'Empathic Feathers.' Instead of hearing vibrations and hearing people talk, my feathers allow me to connect to someone's feelings. Thoughts. Based on how they feel I can manipulate them to thinking a certain way, influence them to act on feelings I project to them. It also allows me to communicate to them through the mind. However it can be dangerous to use it sometimes, if I use it on someone with a stronger will power than I, they can do the reverse back."

Midoriya's eyes widened, now realizing exactly what had happened during the Nomu fight. He had saw Feathers instinctively fly to the leader after he recalled the Nomu. In that moment the Nomu had reversed the manipulation.

"If what you say is true, that he wasn't using 'One for All' at its fullest extent, I can assist helping Midoriya with, if willing, the mind set of only using so much. It may be hard at first, but with a weeks training it's a good start." All Might looked over the sister of the Number 3 hero. He never encountered Hawks in his time, but she did give him a good idea on how she was raised. Sakura was quite intuitive, and her quirk was quite a powerful one if honed correctly.

"Wow." Midoriya's eyes almost glistened as he looked over her feathers. Her quirk could do all that. Midoriya nodded, as he thought himself. He wasn't quite sure what Feathers had in mind for the training, but if she was able to assist, it would be good to hear her out. "Sure, whatever you have in mind, I'm willing to learn!"

Sakura stood from the spot she sat, bowing to the two. "Classes will be starting back up soon, I'll leave you guys to continue your talk. Next week Midoriya, we'll meet up some place and I'll help where I can." She turned to All Might once more. "Thank you, sir, for trusting me with such a huge secret. I won't let you down when helping Izuku."

She excused herself as she left the room, leaving the two to continue their chat alone. She aimed to finish classes for the day. Eager to learn from her explosive classmate. A symbiotic relationship of training. When the day came to a close, she was grabbing her stuff to leave. When the door swung open, she blinked at the amount of people around. I presume they are scouting. . .

"Hey Poprock, I'll meet you there." She smirked, using her wings to hover above the crowd. "Hello students! Nice to meet you all! Good luck at the sports festival, I'm sure it'll be interesting." She called to him, now realizing how glad she was that the door was so huge. She just flew over the crowd to an emptier spot before landing on her feet. Some of the students just watched her in shock, as she just waved back at them again, heading to the gym first.

She had gotten into her U.A. Gym outfit. She looked around the size of the gym, a finger on her chin as she thought of how the training would go. Would Bakugo even show up? She shrugged as she went to the back room, pulling a punching bag out to train alone while she waited. She tilted her head looking at the bag, standing in a fighting position as she swung a kick first.

"You're off-balance Birdbrain." Bakugo had said from behind, as he strolled into the gym. He dropped his bag off near the wall, as he looked at the other blond. Sakura turned herself towards him. She showed a closed eye smile before tilting her head and a shrug.

"Thats why you're here Poprock. Teach me some tricks, will ya?" He rolled his eyes, muttering under his breath as he pushed off the wall he was leaning on. Making his way over. There was a lot to do in a week. . . but he'd get the information he needed to beat her.
