~ Author-chan is Bored... ~
Saturday, the day after work or school where almost everyone can relax or have fun. Unfortunately, the author here is stuck typing chapters she forgot to do. Sorry back to the story; as for Izumi, Saturday is just as hectic as any other day since she's working at the Pale Moon cafe instead of dealing with the chaos that comes with UA.
Currently, Izumi is getting dressed for her shift after taking a shower. So she's dressed in your usual white dress shirt with a black bow, black waistcoat, a black pencil skirt, black 1-inch heels, and black stockings. Though Inko has suggested having Izumi wear a maid's dress to attract some more customers, Izumi has stuck to her current uniform.
'Okay... the Sports Festival hopefully hasn't attracted attention to me.' Thought Izumi as she headed downstairs to see a few people already outside of the cafe and a little less than half of them weren't usual customers. 'Oh, just my luck. Hopefully, Mineta doesn't sneak in.' She thought again as she walked into the kitchen to see her mother cleaning the oven with a monstrosity of what should be a cake on the table.
"Ah, Izumi! Let everyone in and go get the coffee machine started," Inko said before returning to the oven while Izumi opened the door and the usual customers came in first.
With that done, Izumi went behind the counter and started the coffee machine for some black coffee as the usual journalist was waiting at the register. "Sorry, how can I help you, Minashi-san?" Izumi asked as the coffee machine started and went to the register.
"The usual please." She answered as Izumi rang her up for a coffee with 4 creams and 2 sugars. "Good job in the Sports Festival though. Hardly expected that big water show you put on." She said tiredly as she went to sit down and went on her phone. But Izumi gave her the coffee before she left for the news agency, leaving Izumi to fulfill a few more orders while Inko finished cleaning the oven and started to take orders from the few people who sat down for their breakfast.
That's pretty much how Izumi's Saturday morning went as everyone else in Class 1-A were either still sleeping (Katsuki) or at the mall and planning a prank (Everyone else besides Mineta). So at the mall, everyone was at the food court talking over the plan.
"Should we even be doing this?" Shoto asked as he looked towards the group of giggling girls and guys, which was quite weird from the guys.
In response, Momo pulled out her phone and opened up a memo with their plan. "Of course. You're hardly the forward one in the relationship and think of it as a celebration for how well our class did in the Sports Festival." She said as everyone stopped making noises and quieted down a bit. "So first, Todoroki-san will talk to Midoriya-san to allow us in after hours. Then we should be able to stay if Todoroki-san can get Izumi-chan to stay with his family for the night. In the meantime, we'll decorate with what Mina-chan, Ochaco-chan, Toru-chan, and Kyoka-chan bought earlier. And since they're closed on Sunday, we have a party!"
"Sounds like a plan!" Mina said as she jumped out of her chair.
"If you wake up in a weird place, don't blame me," Shoto said before he got up and walked out of the mall with a few classmates behind him.
Now back to Izumi, she just started to serve the afternoon crowd since Inko took over the register. Currently, Izumi is preparing a strawberry shortcake, a few parfaits, and a loaf of banana bread for the few people who were going to eat at the cafe. But while that happened, Shoto walked into the cafe and sat down at a table for two people by the window.
'Let's see the cake will be ready in 5 minutes, the parfaits need to be served and the bread is baking for another 8 minutes. I'll go get the rest of the orders!' Thought Izumi cheerily as she heard some snoring in her head, but figured it was one of the spirits she had.
Either way, she left the kitchen and served up the parfaits to the customers before taking a few more orders and eventually came up to a certain important individual. "Hello, what would you like to order?" She asked as she looked up to see two different hair and eye colors, but Shoto just sat there with a small smile plastered on his face. "Shoto? What are you doing here?"
"Just wanted to ask if you wanted to meet my family. You don't have to though," he said as Izumi seemed happier than when he asked her out.
"Of course I would! But could you come back at around six, I still have to do my shift?" She asked as she held her notepad close to her chest. He nodded in response before leaving the cafe and Izumi went back to the kitchen to prepare a few more orders.
And at closing time or six pm, Izumi quickly changed into a pair of black shorts, a white shirt, and a slightly oversized forest green jacket with her usual red high tops. But she bolted out of the cafe and found Shoto just outside, though Inko was sighing because Izumi left her to clean the kitchen once again.
"Ah, Shoto! So we're walking to your house?" Asked Izumi as Shoto saw some of Class 1-A out of the corner of his eye, but still saw that the cafe was open.
"We're going to take the train, but don't worry, we'll be there before dark." He said as the two left and most of Class 1-A walked to the Pale Moon cafe with bags in their arms.
Quickly, they entered the cafe as Inko heard the ringing of a bell and hurried out of the kitchen with her apron on. "Sorry, we just closed- "
"Midoriya-san, we're from Class 1-A!" Mina shouted, interrupting Inko who just remembered their faces from watching the Sports Festival. "Can we set up your cafe for a party tomorrow!?" She asked nervously and loudly which seemed a bit out of character, but the mother of Izumi had to have a lot of power if Izumi is anything to go off of.
"Fine, but you're cleaning up and make sure you pay for anything you break." She said sternly as she used her quirk to pull a kitchen knife towards her. "If you don't, then you'll see someone scarier than Izumi..." She said extremely threatening before all of them nervously nodded, but she just happily went upstairs to eat dinner.

~ Brought to you by Izumi and Shoto walking together ~
The next day, since the author is getting some writer's block, started with Izumi and Shoto waking up in the position they were cuddling in. Though it was entirely Izumi's idea since Shoto was just going to have her spend the night in a guest bedroom. Either way, Izumi got dressed in a black cardigan, red undershirt, and some jeans before heading out with Shoto for some surprise.
So they apparently had to take the train and Shoto wouldn't let Izumi know where they were going at all until Izumi could see the familiar buildings and agencies that surrounded Musutafu city. 'A surprise near home... nope got nothing.' She thought as some random guy ran through the train and enlarged himself near the front most train car. 'He's back, huh?' She thought again as the train started to tilt towards the left and the broken train car had no roof.
"Izumi! Get the villain!" Shoto shouted as he used his quirk to support the falling train and Izumi was snapped out of her stupor.
While Shoto had stopped the train cars from tipping onto the street, Izumi started to run towards the villain as her eyes changed to a silver color along with her hair. But her clothes changed from their pastel colors to a vibrant white with some metal decorations with it, forming a small dress and stockings. Though what was most spine-chilling wasn't the death glare she was giving the villain, it was the ice forming around her out of thin air.
Without a second thought or any thoughts for that matter, Izumi instinctively drew out water molecules in the air to create ice around the villain's feet, securing him in place. But at that point, she started to strut slowly towards him with ever-growing icicles around her. "Hand yourself over to the authorities and we won't waste any more time here." She stated as the villain looked back in fear, but Izumi brought an icicle close to his face. "Are we clear?" She asked sternly as the villain shook his head and Izumi left him there for the cops while she returned to normal.
"Nice display, though I can tell you're tired from just using an inkling of my power." A deep and wise voice rang out in Izumi's head as she recognized it as the dragon's voice she met after her fight with Shoto. "Call me Shimo, but I believe your boyfriend needs you right now."
With a small nod, Izumi went back to Shoto who led her back to the Pale Moon cafe where apparently there was a surprise. "You take me away then bring me back, it's like you don't have anywhere else you can go." She commented but Shoto didn't even react as he started to open the door to the dark cafe but closed it right after they entered.
"CONGRATULATIONS!!!" Everyone from Class 1-A shouted as Izumi instinctively pulled out a sword to defend herself, but realized basically everyone she knew was there. Well, besides the dirty pervert and egotistical bastard.
~ Thank you! ~
A/N: Thanks everyone for sticking with this story, even though I just got writer's block and may be missing out on a lot of plot or character development opportunities that I make but never use anyway. Either way, this chapter is just to get the newest armor out and get myself ready for school.
The question of the day
I'm going to put this story off after the Hero Killer arc but in the meantime, what story should I work on?
Also, if you have any requests or ideas for this story, send them over on my Questions And Tags book. You can also ask me practically any question there!
