~ SMASH! ~

"Teams Midoriya, Todoroki, Bakugo, and Tokoyami move on!" Midnight shouted as the teams started to disassemble and celebrate in their own way. More specifically, Ochaco and Mei cheered and high fived while Hitoshi just sighed. But the happy couple immediately hugged each other, well more of Izumi hugging Shoto and him patting her head. "Now, all of you can go get to your seat because the first match will be... *Spinning Noises* Izumi Midoriya versus Hitoshi Shinso!" She shouted as the two students stopped whatever they were doing to glare at each other, but they were taken out of the arena and into separate waiting rooms as Cementoss created an arena out of pure cement.

But as the two fighters were called back to the arena, where they continued to glare at each other despite being teammates just moments ago. "On the left, we have Hitoshi Shinso from the General Course, also known as the ever-sleepy puppeteer. Then on the right, we have Izumi Midoriya from the Hero Course, also known as the multi-outfit maiden!" Present Mic announced as Izumi was annoyed at her nickname. "Let's get this battle started!"

"Remember first to be knocked out of the area or is unable to fight loses!" Midnight shouted as Izumi used her One For All armor in its full glory. But she quickly activated a 5% Full Cowl to make green lightning surround her armor and body which seemed to wow the audience.

Though, she already knew Hitoshi's strategy was to taunt her and she believed she would be ready for anything he could say. "Nothing without that armor, huh? Bet that boyfriend of yours is only there for the fame of getting you pregnant." He taunted as Izumi gave him a death glare, but if looks could kill he would be in Oblivion.

"You bastard!" She shouted as her pupils shrank and she felt the control of her body become farther out of her grasp.

"Now be a good little princess and walk out of the arena." He said as she turned around and slowly started to move towards the edge of the arena.

'NO! I have to beat him!' Izumi thought as she watched her body continue to walk from within her mindscape.

"Then why don't you?" Nana asked as she stood next to Izumi in her mindscape. "You carry the hopes and strength of 8 other people, myself included. So grab my hand, and we'll get through this." She said again as she held out her gloved hand and Izumi grabbed it before their hands glowed a bright golden color.

In reality, Izumi's finger glowed as it forced out all the power of One For All it could muster, knocking Izumi out of her trance. Then she turned around as she glared at Hitoshi and used a more violent Full Cowl at 10% to use the pressure created from her punch to push him out of the arena.

"The winner is Izumi Midoriya!" Midnight announced as Izumi held her left hand which her now broken finger was on. So she helped Hitoshi up before going to Recovery Girl to heal her finger.

After that happened, Tenya Iida 'fought' Mei Hatsume, but it really was just to show Mei's inventions before she stepped out of the arena and basically forfeited the match. Though it was Shoto versus Sero Hanta next, Shoto literally trapped tape boy in a glacier which won him the match before he had to unfreeze the poor tape dispenser. Then the next match was Ibara Shiozaki versus Denki Kaminari, but Ibara could summon vines that protected her from Denki's electricity before she pushed him out of the area using the same vines.

Once those matches were done, it was Fumikage Tokoyami versus Momo Yaoyorozu which ended fairly quickly as Fumikage overpowered her before she could use her quirk. Next was Mina Ashido versus Yuga Aoyoma which was swiftly taken by the former when she made Yuga's belt malfunction and threw him out of the arena. The seventh match was Eijiro Kirishima versus Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu who both were completely evenly matched, though they had to do an arm wrestling match as a tiebreaker, ending in Eijiro winning the endurance battle. But the last match was Katsuki Bakugo versus Ochaco Uraraka, which made an epic match for the last of the preliminaries but Katsuki was more offensive and defeated Ochaco who Izumi laid on her lap as she rested.

Now with the first Quarterfinal match, Shoto once again froze his opponent in a glacier, so Ibara had to be unfrozen by the former. Though Izumi didn't fight since Tenya had to leave for family matters. Next was Eijiro versus Mina but Mina was outclassed by Eijiro's defensive and offensive capabilities before he pushed her out of the arena. And last was a win for Katsuki by default because Fumikage forfeited because he knew he couldn't win and Katsuki was a sadist. But as a bonus, Katsuki and Eijiro fought which ended in Katsuki's ticket to the final round.

"Now on the right, we have the walking blizzard, Shoto Todoroki!" Present Mic shouted as Shoto walked to the right side of the arena. "Then on the left, we have the walking wardrobe, Izumi Midoriya!" He said as Izumi walked to the left side of the arena with a tick mark popping out of her forehead.

"Fine,  if I'm a wardrobe then I'll change clothes!" She shouted agitated as she erupted in blue flames, but it disappeared to reveal a brunette girl in a white and blue dress that was decorated with some gold armor. Though what really sold it was the giant claymore with a blue handle and crystal in the golden guard which led to a shiny white blade. "Will this suffice?" She said with a cute feminine voice but had her sword stuck in the ground.

"Told ya gold was your color," Shoto said playfully as Izumi smiled at him and grew blue wings of fire from her back. 

"Don't be afraid to ruin the outfit now." She said back playfully as she giggled.

"Alright, love birds- "

"I take offense to that." Said a blue phoenix behind Izumi but he quickly disappeared after that bit.

"Okay... Let the battle begin!" Midnight shouted as Shoto tried his glacier attack, but Izumi brought her sword out of the ground before slamming down and breaking the incoming ice.

With their opening act out of the way, Izumi picked up her sword but then started to drag it behind her using her left hand as she walked towards Shoto. But he tried his glacier again and again as she kept swinging her blade which destroyed the ice each time.

"Shoto, if you truly love me. Please don't hold back, not just here either," Izumi said and winked at Shoto before she struck her blade into the ground before her left arm's armor was covered in flames that radiated more heat the Endeavor's own flames.

"You never cease to impress me. But do you honestly expect me to use his power!" He shouted as he sent three streams of ice towards Izumi who summoned her wings to fly out of there while a giant icicle formed below her. Using her flaming left arm, Izumi melted the ice on contact as she flew to the ground.

Then her arm was extinguished before she pulled her sword towards her just by thinking about it, but she leaned it on her shoulder. "Who said it was his power? I always thought it was your power, a little treat from the one I love." She said before slamming the blade on the ground as flames sprouted from the ground and started to sprout towards Shoto.

And out of self-defense, Shoto used his left side to break the flames with his own after seeing how effortlessly Izumi's blue flames melted the ice he created. And the flames broke apart into separate paths around Shoto but disappeared shortly after.

"Told you it was your power. You should be proud to have such a gift, not many have such a powerful quirk." She said as she flew back to the side of the arena she started on. "Let's give them a show, shall we?" She said as she held her sword to the point where the blade was between her eyes.

"Fine, just for you." He said as his left side erupted in flames and his right side started to freeze over.

As their final attacks, Izumi's blade erupted in blue and white flames while Shoto started to use his ice and fire to pincer Izumi before she swung her blade down vertically. But Shoto's attack got to her first as she was pushed out of the arena with some burns on her right and cuts from the ice on her left. And shortly after she was sent out of the arena, her attack hit Shoto but he brought his arms to protect his face from the flames which burned him yet he hardly moved back, though the flames seemed to be healing him as he felt his energy and stamina come back.

"You're too nice for your own good." He said as he walked towards Izumi and picked her up bridal style before bringing her to the infirmary.

"And Shoto Todoroki is the winner!" Midnight shouted after coming out of her hiding spot behind Cementoss. "Don't worry everyone, the final match will be coming soon when both fighters are ready!"

But back to the infirmary, Shoto laid Izumi down on one of the beds as Recovery Girl gave them some time to themselves before going to heal the poor girl. "Izumi, why? Why would you give up your chance to win for me?" Shoto asked as a tear came down his face.

"I don't need to win." She said simply as he looked at her as she gave him a small yet warm and loving smile. "I did my job, you'll use your full power, right?" She asked as she flinched from the pain coursing through her body like poison.

"O-Of course, f-for you, Izumi." He said as he started to tear up but Izumi weakly brought her hand to cup his cheek and wiped away some of his tears.

"Shoto, don't cry. I made my choice and that was to let you win it all." She said with another warm smile as if she wasn't almost impaled by ice and burnt to a crisp just moments ago. "Now go out there and win! I won't accept any less from you." She said before he wiped away the rest of his tears and put her hand down onto the bed.

"Alright, but please don't ever do something like that again. You could've died there." He said before Recovery Girl stepped into the room.

"I can't promise that and you know it," Izumi said before he walked away smiling and Recovery Girl kissed her forehead as she was put to sleep, only to awaken in her mindscape.

~ Mindscape: Floating Island ~

"What you did was noble, Izumi." Said an old yet powerful voice as Izumi opened her eyes to see a magnificent dragon towering over her. It loomed over her with it's glistening white scales and blue features from eyes to claws.

"Thank you, but I only did what I felt was right." She replied as she stood and saw the dragon's body as big as a mountain, yet it gently laid in front of her as if it didn't care.

"Noble as it may be, you should wake up and watch his match." The dragon said as Izumi's body began to fade away yet she felt her energy returning to her body. "We'll see each other soon."

~ Reality ~

As soon as Izumi woke up, Shoto's match barely started as she saw the match on tv and he tried to trap Katsuki in ice, but the latter quite flying out of reach. Using the slow start to the match as a time waster, Izumi stumbled towards the stands even though Recovery Girl told her to rest until she's fully recovered. Yet in just a few minutes, Izumi was sitting down behind the rest of Class 1-A who didn't notice her since they were watching the final match unfold.

Down in the arena, Katsuki flew close to Shoto as he tried to blow him up, but Shoto was quick enough to use a wall of ice to prevent that explosion from reaching him. And the match continued like this, Katsuki going in for an attack and Shoto defending with ice. Of course, Izumi got tired of the anti-climactic battle after she gave Shoto what energy she had left after theirs.

"Shoto, fight with all you got!" She yelled as Shoto looked at the trace of the voice and his eyes met Izumi's own before he was slammed onto the ground with an explosion. With that, his fire erupted alongside his left side and he blasted Katsuki back but it didn't do much since his skin was somewhat fireproof from his quirk. Yet it ends there as Katsuki was bombarded by attacks of ice and fire, though as they continued to be sent his way, they became sluggish and predictable. Using that advantage, Katsuki flew above the line of fire and continued to fly higher.

When he got high enough, Katsuki started to spin with his explosions creating a twister of smoke and hidden explosions around him, going right for Shoto who tried to use a wall of ice to prevent to the incoming attack. But Katsuki broke through the wall and continued his onslaught as Shoto used his fire to blast him right in the face, though he barely did anything as Shoto was sent flying from the attack. Then right before he was about to be sent out of the arena, Shoto created a slide of ice to bring him back to a tired Katsuki before punching him in the face for the hell of it and then actually sending him out of the area with a stream of fire from his left arm.

"*pant* I *pant* did it *pant*," He said though tired as Izumi came down to the field and put his arm around her to help him get to the infirmary. "Guess what *pant* comes around *pant* goes around." He joked as Izumi pretended to drop him but helped him back up before he found himself in one of the infirmary beds.

~ Time Skip ~

After about half an hour, Shoto and Katsuki were rested up before they stood on the podiums with Izumi taking third. "Alright, ladies and gentlemen! It's time for the award ceremony and here to present the awards is All-Might!" Midnight said as All-Might jumped down in front of the top three contestants and Midnight opened a box holding the three medals.

"Taking Third Place, we have Izumi Midoriya!" He said before placing the bronze medal over her head and then on her neck. "Great work, I'm proud of you for helping Young Todoroki." He whispered to her before patting her head, though she'd only let Shoto do it, she made an exception this time.

"Thank you, sensei." She said politely as he took the silver medal out of the box.

"Taking Second Place, we have Katsuki Bakugo!" He shouted into the crowd as everyone saw that Katsuki was in a straight jacket and had cement rising up around his feet. "You did great, though your opponents may not have been up to par." He said to not upset the boy any further as most people know what happens.

"Shut up, old man." He grumbled under his breath in response before All-Might took out the gold medal.

"And you, Shoto Todoroki, are the grand winner!" All-Might said as he placed the medal on Shoto's neck. "I'm glad you used your power." He whispered to Shoto who nodded.

Out of the blue or green, Shoto grabbed Izumi and lifted her onto the First Place podium. "But I couldn't have done it without Izumi cheering me on." He said before they kissed and Izumi's cheeks flushed pink as she realized that thousands of people were watching this, but closed her eyes and kissed him back.

A/N: I hope this lives up to your expectations, but I will make the next chapter a bit of filler so I can relax a bit while I write chapters for other stories.
