Izuku was finally feeling content after years of being alone and constant work. He still had to work, but he felt nice doing it. It had been a couple of days since Ms. Uraraka had let him stay here, at the class 1-B dorms. It was about an hour before school started, but he had no hurry. He was mopping the kitchen floors, since they were dusty from a summer of not being used. He wanted to put extra work into this, since he wanted it to look nice. Or, per se, wanting Ms. Uraraka to be impressed. She felt familiar to him, almost like a long lost friend. He didn't want to let that go, so he needed to do the best he could to keep her as a friend.

     That thought, about Ms. Uraraka being his friend, brought up other thoughts. He quickly realized how grateful he was for having such good friends.

     Usagi, for he met him at the orphanage he grew up at. His first friend, and maybe his best.

     Eri, she always talked to him, anytime, anywhere. If he had something on his mind, she was there.

     Ms. Uraraka, she saved him from his hard life, and quite possibly death.

     All these friends, and the way they treated him. He saw that he needed to do something for them. A surprise, as a way of thanking them for being so nice to him. He went back to work, but his mind was somewhere else. He was thinking of ideas to thank his friends.

     Usagi

     Usagi couldn't believe the pent up rage inside him. What those people did to Midoriya, and at himself for not noticing it. At least it turned out okay in the end Usagi thought. He heard about Midoriya getting his dorm. It made him happy that Midoriya was out of that hell-hole that he somehow managed to call home. Him and Eri were talking as they were walking to UA. She was nice, contrary to his first thoughts about her. She was actually really nice, and laughed at his jokes. It made him feel nice, but he already had liked someone else. It was easy to bring up to his dads, but not really anyone else. He had been lost in thought when he noticed Eri talking to him.

      "...about him?" she said, finishing her sentence.

      Crap! I have no idea what she said! Usagi thought, and frantically tried to find something to say back to her.

       "Mhmm! Yup!" Usagi said, hopping it would work.

        "Great! So how'd you meet Midoriya?" She asked.

         Backfire! Backfire! Usagi thought. He would have had a different answer if he heard what she said. Something along the lines of 'No' or 'Get out of here'.

        "Well, Um.." Usagi started. He scratched his head. "We were actually in the same orphanage together. We made a quick friendship since we both looked up to heroes." Usagi said, remembering his past with Midoriya.

         "Really? I'm so sorry.." Eri said, looking ashamed to what she said.

         "It's fine, actually, if it weren't for that green-haired fuzzball, I wouldn't be the person I am. I look up to him, even though he's younger than us. He has.. A.." Usagi scoffed, signaling Eri to what he meant, and she quickly shook her head in understanding "But even because of that, he still wants to be a hero.." Usagi said, amazed he actually got that off his chest.

         "That Midoriya really is amazing, isn't he?" Eri said as she thought of the things that Midoriya's done for her. I have to pay him back, anyway I can.. She thought, needing to do it.

         "Yup." was all Usagi said.

          They headed into UA Highschool and said their farewells and they went to their respective classes. He looked at Midoriya and immediately felt better. The color had returned to his skin, and even looked happy and.. enjoying himself. He saw a small, bright, twinkle in his eyes previously not there. Usagi smiled to himself. "Yo, Midoriya!" Usagi said, waving at him.

           Midoriya turned around and flashed his bright smile at Usagi. "Hey Usagi! How's it been?" Izuku asked, waving back.

            Usagi put down his bags and sat at his desk, next to Midoriya. "It's been good. Wont have to worry about my friend spontaneously pass out anymore." Usagi said, laughing a bit, but then realizing he said it too soon.

             Midoriya laughed. "You got that right. Dude, at the dorms, they have a FRAME for the mattress! It's so comfortable, you gotta come over. There's even a T.V.!" Izuku said, so happy for the dorm.

             Usagi didn't say that those were common amongst houses. He let Midoriya be happy. "Awesome dude. I'll make sure to come over sometime." Usagi said.

             Ms. Uraraka took role, and announced that they would be doing Algebra, English, Chemistry, and some basic fighting techniques at the end of the day. "That's surprising. A normal day at a Super Hero school." Usagi whispered to Izuku.

            Izuku snickered a bit and covered his mouth to hide his grin. He turned back to Ms. Uraraka and took out his Algebra Journal. They were working on Quadratic Equations. Usagi wasn't so good at this, but Izuku was flying past it. "Jeez dude, I knew you were smart, but c'mon. Let me catch up a little." Usagi said as he was stuck on the third problem. 

           "Read it carefully. It tricks you a bit in there with the wording." Izuku said, not even looking up. 

            Usagi tried it and found that it had worked. "Thanks" He whispered back to Izuku.

            "Mhmm" Izuku said, mostly paying attention to the work. He was in full school mode.

              Usagi let him work, he knew Izuku felt like he had to prove himself. He went over to work with some of his other friends. Mainly Teien and and a girl named Tisho. Teien lived in his neighborhood, and he introduced him to Tisho. She was the tallest in the group, and Usagi was the shortest. He didn't mind.

               "Can I work with you guys?" Usagi asked, as he sat down, knowing the answer.

               "Sure. Did you get bored of that Midoriya kid already?" Teien asked, only partially joking.

               Usagi laughed "Nah, I just let him work. Anyways, How are you Tisho?" He said, turning his attention to Tisho.

               "It's good.. We got a new cat at the house, and the cat is actually nice." She said. She had already been done with her worksheet. She was just reanimating her pencil and make it draw doodles itself.

                "Awesome! Maybe I could talk to it sometime." Usagi said, referring to an old joke between them. He used to randomly talk to animals, and people thought he was crazy.

               They laughed a bit at it. He saw Teien looking somewhere else, with a weird look on his face.So, naturally, Usagi looked at the direction he was looking. It was at Izuku, but this girl was sitting next to him. She had Wires coming out of her earlobes.

              "Who's that girl?" Usagi asked.

              "I think her name is Frieta Kaminari. Isn't she the daughter of EarphoneJack and Chargebolt?" Teien said, looking at Usagi.

               "Yeah, I wonder what her and Izuku are doing" Usagi said.

              Teien looked at Usagi, without Usagi noticing. Why does he like that deformed Midoriya more than he likes me? Teien thought jealously.

               Usagi kept staring at Izuku. He loved his determined eyes, his attitude, his personality. But what Usagi was unsure of, was if Midoriya liked him back, but of course, Usagi would have to keep that thought to himself, and his dads.

Izuku

              "So you're really the the daughter of EarphoneJack and Chargebolt!?" Izuku said, fanboying. He was completely oblivious to the fact that she was blushing and covering her face with her hands and her wires.

             "Y..Yeah!" Was all she could muster to say.

             "Is your quirk like Earphonejack, but it emits Electricity instead of sound!?" Izuku kept going on.

             "S..Spot on!!" She said, extremely flustered.

             "I'm Izuku Midoriya by the way! Pleased to meet you!" Izuku said, extending his remaining hand for a handshake and bowing.

              She nervously took it, and immediately blushed. "I..I'm Frieto K..Kaminari.." She said.

              Then, the kids that have been bullying Izuku came over.

              "Kaminari, why are you hanging out with this deformity?" The boy, the leader one, asked.

              "C..Come on Enki! He's not b..bad!" Kaminari said, trying to defend her newfound friendship in this boy.

              " 'C..C...C' Aw shut up." The girl in the group said.

              "S..Stop it Duoy!" Kaminari said to the girl.

              "Lighten up, we're just messing with you." Enki said, laughing and walking away. But as he walked away, Enki whispered something into Izuku's ear.

              "How's life treaten' ya', you bum"

               Midoriya looked away, as they walked past after Enki said that.

               "I..I'm so Sorry! My friends usually are better than that! E..Ever since they joined UA, Th..They've changed!" Kaminari said, frightened that her newfound friendship might come to a quick end.

               There was a shadow covering Izuku's eyes. "I..It's fine. Not your fault, there's no need to apologize." Izuku said trying to comfort her. "C'mon, lets meet one of my friends, you'll like him."

               Izuku walked over to Usagi and introduced His new friend. 

               "Nice to meet you. I'm Usagi Bunni, This is Teien, and that's Tisho." Usagi said, gladly welcoming them into the friend group.

               "Nice to meet you Tisho, and nice to see you again Teien." Tisho smiled and shook Midoriya's remaining hand. Izuku held out his and to Teien, but all he got was a grunt.

                 They worked together on the Algebra problems, and eventually finished. They went through English working together, and partnered in twos in Chemistry. Teien got paired with Enki, which neither of them were happy about.

               Combat training was hard, but everyone got through okay. Some were even play fighting. The Bell Eventually rang, and everyone went home.

             "Cya' tomorrow guys!" Izuku said, waving off his new friend group.

              They said their collective byes and went off.

Fretia

           I actually talked to him today!! Fretia thought, as she blushed and thought about her day with Midoriya.
