~~~~~~~~~~
There, in front of her door, stood Edgeshot in his pro-hero glory. Her sapphire eyes lit up with joy at the sight and couldn't help but smile at her idol hero. "E- Eijiro, thanks for walking me home," Her cheeks burned brighter than a burner on a stove, which she did her best to hide, and averted her attention to the small path leading to her door.
"Yeah, no problem! I hope I didn't make you feel awkward or anything," His face, also, brightened from embarrassment.
"N- No, not at all! I really... Appreciated your company and..." For a moment, the cybergirl trailed and began to fiddle with her thumbs awkwardly. Her sapphire eyes tried to look everywhere else so she could think of what to say until the words she needed fell from her lips. "I'm... Always here for you, if you need me. S- So text me or something, if anything's on your mind. I want to be there for you whenever... You want to hang out or get something off of your chest. Oh, wait-- w- what kind of sweets do you like?" Saito had the idea of baking him some sweets but the uncertainty made her reluctant, she wanted so badly to make him something. Despite her red face and obvious nervousness, the girl managed to pull through and ask.
Waaaah! She's so sweet and considerate! Inside his mind, comical tears trickled from his eyes while those clenched fists lifted close to his shoulders. His hysterical expression on the outside, made the lighter redhead confusedly blink at his reaction, and couldn't help but take notice of the random twirling hearts around him.
"E- Eijiro?" Her hesitant small hands inched close to one of the spinning hearts around his head and poked one of them, she was taken aback and comically jumped when it popped.
"Thank you, Uviel! I love orange flavors and specific types of syrups, what about you?" His toothy grin and closed eyes were enough to make her heart race, he wasn't aware of how she shifted nervously.
"Cool, I- I like chocolates and... Cherries, strawberries. Peanut butter and chocolate flavors," Her small smile curled her upper black lips after she used her fingers to push some strands from her long bangs more in front of her face.
"Awesome, we should go to a bakery someday and try out all sorts of sweets!" His beaming grin, his joyous energy, and the love behind his red eyes, all screamed how much he adored Uviel and he watched her shyly nod.
"Y- Yeah, cool-- I'd like that!" Her face was burning, she couldn't stop blushing. However, when she was about to step to the side to head toward her front door, she felt herself get pulled back and soft lips on her cheek.
"I'll see you tomorrow!" With that, he sprinted down the sidewalk past her house and waved goodbye over his shoulder.
Her gaze stayed glued to his backside as he gained distance from her and her upper-black lips never faltered from the smile she donned. Clearly, she enjoyed his lips on her cheek, but deep down she wanted them on her own again. She didn't know if he would kiss her if she asked, so nervousness and uncertainty about that still clouded her mind.
With a turn of her feet, the moment she began making her way through the path to her front door and towards Shinya, the said pro ninja's gray hues squinted happily for some reason. "Shinya?" Just in front of him, she stopped, curiosity took over when she blinked and noticed how his hands remained behind him the whole time.
"Uviel. While you were finishing the rest of your school-- I managed to make time to get the paperwork and fill it all in," Those sharp eyes opened to hers, and saw how her gaze gradually lit up with astonishment. He knew, by his next words, that she'd most likely tear up and so, from around his back he revealed a folder with the word Adoption on it.
"I- Is that..." Those sapphire hues reflected the very emotion, which seemed to have made them widen much more and stare at the folder in awe.
"It didn't take long at all for the adoption to be approved, since they knew I was a pro hero. You can call me Dad, if you want," A happy background lit up behind him when he smiled, his cheeks rose to prove that he was and he couldn't help but notice how emotional the girl was becoming.
"D- Dad... Dad. Yeah, D- Dad!" Joy overtook her when her eyes thinly leaked I- I'm... His kid now? Am I really? Yes, I am. I'm his daughter now, which means I ask him to go places with me and attend events that involve parents! I can spend time with him... I hardly did anything with my parents after... My limbs were replaced. This can be a new start, a new chance to spend time with a parent. Her emotional face crinkled a little after her eyes squinted slightly, to let another tear fall.
Quickly, her feet moved, and her arms wrapped around her new Dad's midsection. To say he wasn't surprised would be a lie, for he was taken aback by her sudden hug and stood there. However, after a couple of seconds, his hand lifted to gently pat her head. "Let's celebrate. Is there anything you'd like to do?" His fatherly gaze watched her head move from his form and light up with excitement.
"Y- Yeah! I wanted to... Bake something for Eijiro. I think I want to make flavored rock candy, preferably orange," Awkwardly she stepped back and used a finger to scratch her cheek.
"Alright. Do you know the recipe?" Curious, in all of his life, he never heard of rock candy so the idea truly piqued his interest.
"Yeah, I made it a few times and I have the recipe written on a card, in my... I mean-- in our kitchen," Around him she moved, pulled out her keys, and unlocked her door. With that, they both entered the house, and with a gentle movement he closed it, he was interested in checking out her living condition.
Her house was... Surprisingly dark. The window over her sink had curtains blocking the sunset's rays, there weren't very many cleaning supplies in her cabinet under the sink either. The floor had faint dust and small stains, and even the smell of eggs wafted through the kitchen as though they were never cleaned up. When he looked at the stove, there were crumbs littered and the burners looked unclean.
"Sorry about the mess. I've never really... Though about cleaning. Har-Har always said she could smell eggs and stuff but I could never figure out how to get rid of it. I... Don't really know what cleaning supplies I need and Haru can't really... Help me with that either," She felt so ashamed of not keeping her place tidy. With her head low, a frown curled her lips and was about to turn toward the sliding-door cupboard to her left, to retrieve the recipe, when Shinya spoke up.
"You get everything ready and wait here-- I'll go buy some. If you're going to cook, you should at least have a clean kitchen," After he saw the girl's head whirl to face him, he didn't hesitate to leave through the front door and disappear within seconds. The cybergirl hardly had a chance to protest, if it were her, she'd at least give him the money for the supplies.
But I could've gone out to buy them, or given him my card so he could pay for them. Why... for a moment, she trailed to ponder until recognition lit up her eyes. R- Right, he's my Dad now. He's going to want to be one. I'm not living all alone anymore... Wait-- doesn't that mean, he's moved out of his own house? Or does he want to move us out of here and into his? Confused, her brows knitted at her thoughts before she continued to rummage through the cupboard.
~~~Wani~~~

In Nezu's office, Wani was in a seat, with one leg over the other and his arms crossed. The Principal kept his black, beady eyes upon the Crock across from him and placed his clasped paws on the surface of his desk. The strict, unfriendly glare that he received told him that Kyoshi wasn't the least bit amused or happy to speak with him, but he put on his bright smile and greeted him nonetheless.

"Hello! I am Principal Nezu! You see our school nurse, Recovery Girl, referred you to me. She called me not long after you left. I was intrigued that you were possibly going to see me and discuss some matters regarding your living issue," The Principal kept that friendly smile present, and his interest was piqued, he knew by just the look of the man that he wasn't a real villain.

"My living issue? Wait-- Recovery Girl told you about my..." His eyes widened showing that he was taken aback by his words. His one leg shifted to move off of his other one so that his large feet were flat on the floor.

"Yes! Indeed! Recovery Girl told me about your many absences during your Middle School years, however, she kept avoiding some topics and stated that you would be angry if she told me anything more about your past. All she told me was that you were on a path of revenge and that you were finally done with it after Serpentine was killed. So, please tell me about your past, so I may figure out how to free you. I can see just by looking at you, that you're harshly judged, so I wish to help in any way I can. There are crimes under your name, murders of heroes, and innocent bystanders as well," Once Nezu finished explaining, he noticed the Crock's fingers clench angrily on his biceps and his furious eyes sharpen. It was a sign that he hit a nerve and it was enough to tell him that he was right.

"You'll get me killed... All you heroes are annoying, for pryin' into other people's business! Why should I tell you?! You'll just have me killed or sent to prison for the rest of my life!" Through a bellowed growl from his throat, he spoke, those sharp teeth gritted from the same anger that filled his mind.

I see... He's insecure. He's scared, too. Recovery Girl told me that he was a very good lad beneath his intimidating shell and protective of kids. Perhaps this fear he's showing is caused by the trauma he went through. Nezu's thoughts echoed for a moment before he opened his mouth to speak. "I will be the one to decide whether I should have a hero escort you to prison or not. You don't need to worry about anyone killing you. As long as you have the want, to change, we won't have any reason to do so. Clearly-- you're not heartless but simply misguided," The Crock across from him seemed speechless almost, Nezu could tell by his silence and the twitch of his eye that he was right, yet again.

After long moments of explaining all that he told Recovery Girl earlier, Wani was hesitant to hear the Principal's reply. Feeling antsy made his leg bounce and kept his eyes glued to the floor, purely worried what he said would send him to Prison.

"By what you told me, you were indeed misjudged by the people and heroes. However, the unnecessary murders, won't be overlooked. Why did you kill some citizens and heroes? Their deaths seemed to have mostly been near water of some sort, please tell me," As patient as ever, the white rat shifted in his seat and with curiosity, his head tilted. A person on the verge of villainy gave him the desire to want to help the poor man, for he believed that not all hope is lost even when someone goes down a dark path.

"I was hungry... How am I supposed to survive when no one will even let me get a damn job?! I can't sleep in hotels, have my own home, or eat what and where I want, without someone screaming or pointing fingers my way-- claiming I'm going to hurt them! I have to live on the fucking streets!" It seemed the Principal had hit another hard nerve because the Crock slammed his strong hands on Nezu's desk and growled furiously. The sound reverberated throughout the room, which seemed to strewn papers that sat on the corner of it.

"I... See... Very well, then. There is but one option you can do, to earn the peoples' trust and clear their misjudgment," Unfazed by the rough slam Kyoshi did, the Principal's beady eyes closed to ponder how to put together his next words. Living on the streets and trying to survive, his heart clenched with anger from how poor the Crock was treated.

When his gaze opened to the beast across from him, his carefree attitude dropped and watched as the Crock remained silent. "I will call some people and have some things arranged. You joined a Middle School that taught them how to get the hang of their quirk and provided proper education. That school would've opened opportunities for you to become a hero... Which you were aware of, I'm sure. Just knowing that alone, proves that you had the heart to become a proper hero because-- you were interested in where the school would lead you to. So, my advice... Take some hero course classes to make up for what you've missed. I could provide a long-term tutor for you if you wish, to privately catch you up. However, the tutor will only test and teach you from the books so you'll know the basics of a hero. Physical and hero tests, and training, must come directly from a hero who chooses you since you are too old to join U.A," After his explanation, not once did his smile return, all seriousness filled the air between him and Wani.

That was until a shadow veiled over the Crock's eyes when his leaned-over position straightened up. "While you're doing all of that, I will be speaking with some heroes and companies to arrange a meeting to help sort out the mess the citizens put you in," Those black, beady eyes couldn't help but notice Kyoshi step back and let all of his weight slam his butt back into the chair. Astonished, slack-jawed, disbelief in his eyes, and slumped in his seat. It was clear to Nezu that what he explained was incredibly shocking to the beast and he deeply hoped he would accept.

"I'll..." Wani's quiet words grumbled and trailed for a moment, everything he heard from the Principal left him stunned. "Think about it," For once, there was no hostility or anger behind his voice when speaking to a hero. He couldn't muster the negative emotion when the man across from him could potentially save him from being wrongfully killed or attacked by heroes, again.

"Yes, think about it! Whatever decision you make, will be final. Come and visit me again when you have," Out of his seat, the Principal quickly opened a drawer and pulled out a small piece of paper to write on. A permission slip, he wrote Valid Visitation on it and walked over to the Crock with it offered to him. "This will permit you to see me when you've decided. It shows who you will be visiting and it can only be used one time-- since there is only one puncture hole to prove its use," The white rat explained thoroughly to make sure Kyoshi knew, as his bright smile and joyous aura returned tenfold.

Cautiously, his clawed hand inched and took the slip from his small paw. Those slits were glued to its bland color and the written words in ink; he was still having a hard time believing that the guy was willing to help.

With a simple nod, he stood, and slowly, quietly made his way to the door. No response, no word given, Nezu watched as the tall beast left his office in silence and bewilderment. "I bet I'm going to see him really soon," His smile broadened at the thought, delighted, that there was a chance to help a villain become good and possibly a hero at that.

~~~Haru~~~
Embarrassment would be an understatement, with the situation she found herself in. During their trek, she wanted to visit the store to grab some eggs and possibly some new, cheap undergarments. However...
The brunette held some underwear up and just realized, that they weren't for women. Her astonished hazed eyes and the redness of her cheeks proved how taken aback she was, even more so since she sensed Hitoshi nearly face-palm. "W- W- What... Did you say? This is for... Men? I wanted to buy some women's briefs, how was I supposed to know? I'm blind," The girl's words proved her awkwardness when they wobbled uneasily. The faint heat could be felt radiating from his body and from there she could tell that he was just as embarrassed as she was. Although, with her strong hearing, she was able to pick up on the boy's quiet, stifled chuckles and the slight movement of his palm down over his mouth.
"Oh my, she must be shopping for her boyfriend.~" A Girl whispered as she passed by and eyed the two with adoration before she made her way to a different aisle. Those very words made both of them light up like a Christmas Tree, the entirety of their bodies turned red at her comment, and quickly, the snake girl shoved the underwear back where she got it.
"Maybe... I can help you find them. I've never really helped with shopping for women's clothes before though," Shinso mumbled with a shy grin curling his lips and his eyes averted as if to hide his embarrassment. Once he saw her walk away in a different direction, he spotted her pure red face that she tried so hard to conceal and swiftly reached out to grasp her wrist. "You're..." He began, both with deep crimson on their faces. "Going the wrong way. Come on, I'll show you," Even though she was a snake, her hands were incredibly soft and fit nicely in his own. It was pleasant to feel, nonetheless, with a smile, he tugged her back and led her down a different aisle.
"Wait! You're not allowed to shop for women's clothing! You can't--" Frantic, still embarrassed, she couldn't wrap her head around the fact that he likes her. The heat he radiated, the drumming of his heart that she could hear which picked up speed after he grasped her hand, all made her mind spin with confusion. However, once she sensed him spin around, she stopped dead in front of his face and could feel the warmth of his breath.
"Yes, I can. I said this before, don't be so reluctant to ask me for help. Besides-- Saito isn't here to help with your clothes shopping right now... You can trust me," His purple eyes moved just slightly, and saw her barely gaping lips. Soft, glossed, delicate, it nearly tempted him but he knew better and gulped down a craving he didn't think he'd have. His gaze looked everywhere else with multiple blinks to avoid staring at her lovely lips, that was until he peeked at her astonished blind eyes.
"You're right, um-- thanks," A few steps back was what she took to get away from his warm breath and to take in some fresh air to calm her rapidly beating heart. I don't know what to do, why can't I stop feeling like this?! This feels so weird! Those blind hues were glued to the floor and remained as wide as dinner plates.
"A- Anyway... Past this aisle," From there, time passed. The brunette wasn't aware that Shinso picked a cute color without her realizing it. He couldn't stop smiling at how adorable the women's briefs were when he saw them and even found her size when she told him. Now they were leaving with a carton of eggs and the new bundle of briefs he picked out for her.
Their trek down the sidewalk was silent and awkward, Haru was heading towards Uviel's house when Shinso spoke up. "You're staying with Uviel?" His purple gaze moved to view the beautiful hues of pink, orange, and red from the sunset on the horizon.
"Yeah! Well-- she did mention that I could stay at her place if I wanted, since my... Dad was killed. I should probably call her and let her know I'm coming over, haha! Wait-- no, she hates it when I barge in unannounced. I should totally scare her.~" A few giggles escaped her lips when a mischievous grin formed, she always enjoyed messing with her.
"How about..." Shinso began, lifted his hand to rub his neck, and felt more awkward than he felt before. "You stay at my place? I have a small extra room you can stay in. I mean-- it'd be pretty weird to stay at a boy's house, I suppose. I just thought... Maybe, Saito would prefer to spend some quality time with Edgeshot tonight since she's going to be his daughter soon. I wouldn't want anything ruining their bonding time," He wasn't aware that his words made her face light up just as red as before in the store, however, she knew he wasn't looking so she did her best to not seem embarrassed.
"R- Right! Yeah! That's cool, she rarely spent time with her parents before they were killed..." For a moment, her voice trailed off, and recalled memories of when she held Uviel close, letting her cry into her shirt. The cybergirl's words of regret and denial of their death continued to ring through her ears, pain was unbearable at that time.
After her voice had quieted, she sensed Hitoshi move his head slightly in her direction but didn't know that his purple hues were focused on her saddened blind ones. "I mean... After her limbs were replaced with cybernetics, she stayed hidden for the rest of her life and refused to go outside very much. So her parents were always so sad that she didn't leave the house... Anyway--" Within seconds after she spoke, her beaming aura and a bright smile replaced her once depressed expression. "Let's go to your place then! I could whip together some boiled eggs, or I could make us an egg sandwich if you want! Ooh, dude, how about a chicken and egg sandwich with cheese and ketchup?!" At this point, Haru was practically drooling at the thought.
Both tan fists clenched with eagerness, although, despite her excitement over the food ideas, she didn't know that Hitoshi stared in awe at her sudden change in mood and her random burst of thoughts. He always found it amazing how bright and sunny she could be when her heart began to fall into the dark. Her positiveness, her energy, it was like a breath of fresh air he found himself addicted to. "Sure. You bought some eggs after all, so-- I don't see a problem with it," His shy grin formed the minute he looked away and kept his gaze glued to the sidewalk.
"Hahaaaa! Awesome! Then let's hurry! I'll ask Max to send a text for me!" Quickly from her pocket, the brunette cheered and pulled out her phone. With an easy step of placing her thumb over a scanning lock on her screen, it read her fingerprint and it lit up with a blue glow. "Max, text UV-Ray!" Within seconds, she heard Max's voice ring out, questioning what she'd like him to type and her lips parted again to speak. " Type: UV-Ray! I'm going to spend the night with a school friend so don't worry about me! Have fun hanging out with your soon-to-be Daddy, girl! Haha!" Her bright smile never faltered, the phone soon made a beep sound and Max told her that the text was sent. "Okaaay, come on! Lead the way!" From behind, in front of the sunset, one fist pumped high above her head and her free arm hooked around his.
