When You Get Chicken Pox

❤️ TodoDeku 💚

Inko had to take charge whenever (Y/n) came down with something. Whether it be a cold, a fever, a stomach ache or even a headache. She had to be the one to take charge and make sure (Y/n) was being looked after property. Often overseeing her son and son - in - law's ways of trying to get (Y/n) better. More often than not, she had to take over in case they almost fed her too much medicine or put too many blankets onto her.

Despite being able to take down countless villains, spar against the greatest of heroes and stand in front of adoring crowds. The boys often get stumped when a new hurdle cropped up during their life of parenting. They managed to overcome dressing her. They overcame what to feed her and what not to feed her. They overcame the hurdle of her quirk and starting school. They were on a roll... until one hurdle hit them out of nowhere...

When their little girl grows ill...

The boys were rather hopeless when it came to caring for a sick child.

Midoriya always imagined the worst case scenario whenever (Y/n) grew ill. It wasn't always a good thing either, he'd build a rather horrible scenario into his head and then burst into tears on the spot thinking his little girl was going to die. Sometimes, he even went a little overboard in giving her treatments to help her recover. He always psychoanalysed things way more than they needed to be and ended up freaking himself out.

On the other hand, Shoto was more knowledgable and got to it but there was something he couldn't do... He'd do all the usual check ups like you would. Checking her temperature. Making sure she drinks fluids. Keeping her occupied and making sure she doesn't exert herself. But when it came to feeding her, he wouldn't stop giving her cookies.

Not that (Y/n) is complaining.

So here they were, panicking over a new type of infection/illness/disease. Chicken pox. Shoto thought it was a quirk effect. Or maybe she became allergic to something. Midoriya instantly thought she was going to die as soon as the blisters began to pop out of nowhere. The greenette hopelessly fussing over the clearly uncomfortable and easily annoyed girl. The bi colour haired male simply set a plate of cookies in her lap for her to nibble on to make her feel better.

"Shoto! You can't keep feeding her cookies!" Inko berates, taking the plate away from her granddaughter to set it on the landing for Enji to collect to take downstairs (the flame hero practically lived at the Midoriya household now anyways), "Izuku! Stop fretting or you'll scare her!"

"R — right! Sorry, mom," Izuku squeaks out sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck with an embarrassed blush, looking toward his little girl who's pulling at her clothes, "I've never seen this before mom... what do we do?"

"Well for starters, you need to change her bedsheets, then you need to get her into a cool bath," Inko says, already on the ball and begins to strip the bed of its sheets, watching as Shoto gently picks her up and tilts his head in confusion as (Y/n) edges more to his right side than the left, "Heat will anger the blisters and make her feel worse, a cool bath will soothe the itching and the pain,"

"Right!" Izuku says, determined as ever, heading toward the bathroom to run a cool bath for his increasingly uncomfortable little girl, "What else can we do?"

"Give her some medicine, it should help the soreness," Inko explains, already having the sheets bundled into her arms, spraying disinfectant over the mattress and pillows, "I have ointment cream in the medicine cabinet you can put on her blisters to calm them a bit,"

"You're the best mom!" Izuku says with a smile as Shoto begins undressing his little girl, growing increasingly worried at the amount of blisters and spots all over his daughters skin, "Be careful, Sho, we don't want her to scar!"

"You yelling at me won't help," Shoto replies as he gently releases a cool breeze from his right palm to try and soothe his whining little girl, "I don't think it's wise to send her to school this week... she could get bullied,"

"You know chicken pox is contagious," Inko says walking into the bathroom and rolling her sleeves up as she grabs the baby shampoo and baby body wash, "If you haven't had it as a child, you will get it from her,"

"Did I get it as a child?" Izuku asks, looking toward his mom as Shoto gently sets her down in the bath, kissing her forehead as she visibly relaxes into the tub of cool water.

"Yes you did, and you weren't an easy one either," Inko says grabbing a towel from the cupboard and setting in on the rim of the sink, "You refused to listen to me and you ended up scarring on your chest,"

"Oh... that's where they're from! I thought it was from training with All Might," Izuku says with a small giggle as he watches (Y/n) splash around in the bath, "What about you Shoto? Have you had it?"

"I think so... I don't know..." Shoto says softly as he gently rubs the baby shampoo into his daughters hair, "I don't really remember,"

Midoriya nods and thinks nothing of it, continuing the day as planned. Getting their little girl out of the bath, dressing her in loosely fit clothes as possible and giving her ointment every so often to keep the itching and the soothing down as much as possible. Making sure she stayed comfortable and was happy. It was all going well...

Until a spot appeared on Shoto's arm...

"Mr Todoroki, has Sho ever had chicken pox?"...

"No, why?"...

💛 KamiShin 💜

Hitoshi couldn't help but groan at the sight of his daughter absolutely covered in spots from head to toe. The girl uncomfortably shifting in her bed to try and find a way to be comfortable. Her nails gently scratching at her arms as she whines in discomfort before pouting as Kaminari rushes over and pulls her hands away. Grabbing socks from her drawer to cover her hands so she didn't make herself scar.

Of course, today of all days, she had to get the chicken pox.

Today was supposed to be Hitoshi's and Denki's joint day off. They were planning on going out for a fantastic dinner for two before going home and having some fun before picking up their little lightning bug and get takeout for dinner. Today, especially, was their anniversary. Now, they couldn't exactly go out because they needed to look after her.

"We'll have to cancel our reservations," Hitoshi says with a small hum as he leans against the doorway, chuckling as (Y/n) uses the socks as puppets and making them eat Denki's nose with a giggle, "She's clearly got chicken pox,"

"That's okay, we can book for another day," Kaminari says with a smile, "Maybe Aizawa or Yamada could babysit her so we can go out or Monoma and Kendou,"

"Yeah, I don't think she can go to school with this," Hitoshi says looking toward his boyfriend who nods with a small hum, "She'll have to take the week off just to make sure... we don't want to infect any other kids in her class,"

"Yeah, I agree," Kaminari says before looking toward his little girl, chuckling as she makes her sock puppets eat his legs, "Baby, you don't have to go to school today, you're staying home,"

As if a switch went off in her head, (Y/n) squeals for joy, scrambling out of her bed to run around the house screaming 'yes' at the top of her lungs. Her arms in the air as she jumps and squeals for joy. Giggling happily as she crash lands back on her bed and grins toward her parents who arch their brows with a small chuckles. Denki grinning toward her.

"Could be a little less sad about it," Hitoshi says with a chuckle and sits down on her bed kissing her nose as she stands on her bed and wiggles in happiness, doing a little happy dance, "You seem very hyper to be ill, kitten,"

"She's not ill, she just has the chicken pox," Denki points out and chuckles as (Y/n) jumps on the bed happily, "Don't jump on the bed, kitten, you'll hurt yourself,"

"Come on, lets go get your breakfast," Hitoshi says picking his little girl up and smiles up at her when she wiggles happily in his arms, "What shall daddy make?"

"Pancakes!" (Y/n) squeals, clapping her hands with a bright smile, snuggling into him as Hitoshi goes downstairs to the kitchen to make her pancakes, "Pancakes!"

Hitoshi sets his girl down on the kitchen table and kisses her nose before setting to make the batter. Mixing eggs, flour, milk and oil together to make the batter before adding a secret ingredient. Chocolate chips! The violet haired male filling a bottle with the batter as he places a pan down on the stove, ready to start cooking.

Meanwhile, Denki chuckles and heads toward the bathroom. The electric blonde shuffling into the bathroom to brush his teeth, tapping his foot to the song playing in his head. Grinning to himself as he toddles back into the hallway... Only to stub his toe and accidentally let his quirk loose...

Cutting the power in the house.

The girl tilts her head confused as she looks around the now dark kitchen. Giggling as Hitoshi sets some candles up on the kitchen, the violet haired male turning to the light switches to see if the light will turn on. Cursing under his breath as they refuse to turn on.

Of course, Denki had to cut the power!

"Goddammit, Denki!" Hitoshi hells, slamming his hands against the kitchen counter as (Y/n) squeals with laughter and claps her hands, "What did you do this time?!"

"I stubbed my toe!"...

"So you cut the power?!"...

"It was an accident!"...

Shota wished that he were anywhere but at home right now. He would have preferred to be at work than at home. To teach inexperienced pupils how to work their quirks instead of worrying and fussing over a cranky little five year old and an ever growing hormonal eleven year old. To grade the reams and reams of paperwork stacking on his desk instead of trying to keep his cranky girls happy. He'd even endure All Might's stories or speak to the paparazzi than endure Hizashi fussing over the girls as if they're dying.

You see, (Y/n) was sent home the other day, coming down with chicken pox. Of course, it had to be chicken pox. It couldn't be a stomach bug or a fever. It was chicken pox. And not only did (Y/n) have it.

Eri managed to catch it too.

Since the older girl grew up in an environment where no germ could go two steps without being killed, Eri didn't catch all the viruses or the colds that children often get growing up. The first ever cold she got, Eri thought she was dying. Not saying that the Aizawa - Yamada household was dirty. It just wasn't as clean and sterile as Overhaul's base.

And both girls were cranky, annoyed, upset and uncomfortable.

Having one child with the chicken pox was more than enough for the two pro heroes who not only have to juggle Hero work but school work and training too. But two? Now you're just having a laugh!

Currently, Aizawa was in the kitchen making the girls some ramen for their lunch. Hitoshi and Denki managed to escape the house before Shota could reel them in to help look after the girls. The male had his black hair scraped into a messy man bun, stirring the noodles into the broth with a small hum. Wanting to give the girls something that they enjoy eating to try and cheer them up.

Meanwhile, in the living room, Hizashi was trying to keep the girls entertained. Eri wanted to go to school. She missed seeing Kota. She wanted to go see her friends. Actually do something instead of sitting at home watching cartoons and doing nothing! Was that so much to ask? On the other hand, (Y/n) was having so much fun not going to school.

Chicken pox was contagious, after all, so they couldn't exactly send them both to school.

Between the girls, sat Fluffy. The family cat. The feline gently snuggling into the girls, purring happily and enjoying the constant attention from her two female owners. Resting her head on (Y/n)'s lap and her tail draped over Eri's lap.

"Daddy, I'm bored," Eri grumbles softly, watching as Hizashi pushes himself to his feet and walks over to the toy chest in the corner holding toys and colouring books.

"You wanna colour, Eri? We got some new colouring books yesterday," Hizashi offers, pulling out three colouring books for the girl, setting some marker pens and colouring pencils on the coffee table.

"No... I wanna do something else," Eri whines, shifting as her blisters begin to irritate her skin, "This is boring,"

"Ooh! I wanna colour!" (Y/n) says happily and disturbs Fluffy during her nap, the cat meowing a little annoyed before jumping away and sashaying toward the kitchen. The girl nabbing the book before grabbing the markers and begins to colour in a picture.

"I know it's boring, Eri, it's just for a little while longer," Hizashi explains, rubbing her back gently and pulling her into his arms, kissing her forehead, "It'll be okay,"

"You'll see Kota soon enough, we just want to make sure you're better before you see him," Aizawa explains as he walks in and sets the bowl of ramen in Eri's lap before sitting next to (Y/n) to feed her (the five year old wasn't very good at eating without a table right now), "Open up, (Y/n),"

"I like having no school!" (Y/n) proclaims with a giggle, opening her mouth and happily accepting the ramen, humming in delight as she swallows it down, "I get to spend more time with daddy and papa!"

"Awww, that's sweet, little listener," Hizashi coos, ruffling her hair as she has another mouthful of ramen, leaning into Shota with a giggle.

"You're cute, kid," Shota hums with a chuckle, kissing her forehead as he grabs a tissue and wipes her lips, biting back a laugh as (Y/n) makes a funny face, "Very cute,"

"Can I have a cookie, daddy?" Eri asks looking up at Hizashi after finishing her ramen, setting the bowl down on the coffee table, "Pretty please?"

"Of course, little listener," Hizashi says ruffling the older girls hair before pushing to his feet, walking to the kitchen...

Or so he thought.

He managed to catch his foot on the coffee table. Which, in turn, caused a chain reaction. He fell over the table, the bowl full of extra broth spilling on the floor. The blonde hitting his head on the floor with a small yell. His knee banging against the table as he fell.

After the initial shock, making sure he was okay, Shota bursts into tears of laughter. (Y/n) and Eri following suit. Cute little giggles and squeals of laughter leaving the girls' lips as they watch the blonde bashfully scramble to his feet.

Maybe being ill wasn't so bad.

"Are you okay, Zashi?"...

"I'm fine, just hurt my pride,"...

Mitsuki couldn't help but smile to herself as she watches Katsuki busy himself away in the kitchen. There was a batch of cupcakes on the kitchen counter, cooling down and waiting to be iced. There was a batch of cookies baking in the oven, chocolate chip, for his little girl. Brownie batter sat on the side, ready to be poured into a tin and there was some bread dough proving in the cupboard. The young blonde using up all the flour, sugar, eggs and butter in the cupboards to calm himself down.

For the past couple of days, (Y/n) has suffered rather terribly with the chicken pox. The girl would wake up crying, extremely uncomfortable and sore. The spots all over her irritating her to the point where she'd almost claw at her skin. They resorted to taping socks to her hands to prevent her from scratching the blisters and scarring. The girl couldn't move without being in an immense amount of pain which terrified the family.

They hadn't seen someone suffer so badly with them before...

(Y/n) was a tough kid. The whole family knew that. However this was getting to her, the uncomfortable itching and soreness making her extremely susceptible to getting easily angered and upset. They've never seen her so upset over something like this.

The other day, she burst into tears when her colouring markers ran out of ink and wouldn't work anymore. Then she got angry when Masaru accidentally dropped her dresses on the floor (he was cleaning the living room). Mitsuki was very tempted to shout back at her when (Y/n) had a little tantrum but she knew better.

Being Katsuki's mother needed patience... and boy, did raising the spawn of Katsuki Bakugo need patience too!

Currently, Shoto was keeping (Y/n) occupied. The boy teaching her how to make little shapes with her ice to cool her down a bit. Shoto making a little horse out of ice, making his daughters eyes sparkle. It took hundreds of tries to perfect but he managed to make many animals with ice... his favourite was a wolf! The girl giggling as Shoto makes mini cubes and spheres and pyramids of ice, the cool temperature helping her feel more comfortable.

"Squirt, do you want cupcakes or cookies?" Katsuki asks leaning against the doorway, holding freshly piped cupcakes in one hand and a plate of cookies in the other, "The other will be for later,"

"Can I have cupcakes, mama?" (Y/n) asks softly, giggling as one of the smaller ice spheres slowly melts between her fingers and drips onto her skirt, Shoto dressing her in loose clothing as promoted by Mitsuki, "Please?"

"Of course, how you feeling?" Katsuki asks, setting the plate down and handing his daughter a cupcake who eagerly bites down on it and getting icing on her nose, "Any discomfort? Pain? Feel sick?"

"I'm okay, mama," (Y/n) replies gently, shifting her weight a bit as she slowly swallows the cupcake down, "Just feel a bit icky..."

Unfortunately, due to (Y/n)'s aversion to blood, the spots and the blisters really made her feel sick. She would often wake up in the morning and her stomach would contort and twist making her feel queasy. She couldn't even eat breakfast. The parents didn't want to give her cupcakes or cookies but they knew that would be the only way to get her to eat.

"Feel dizzy?" Katsuki asks sitting next to her, rubbing her back as she leans into him with a small whine, "Shall we take you to bed?"

"I'm fine mama... I'll be okay," (Y/n) mumbles, wincing as her stomach pulls slightly at the sight of her blisters, "Don't like this,"

"I know, squirt, I know," Katsuki soothes, rubbing her back, kissing her head as she shifts uncomfortably, wrapping an arm around her tummy, "It'll only be for a little while longer, I promise,"

"Pinkie swear?" (Y/n) asks looking up at him and holding her pinkie out toward her mama who chuckles and wraps his pinkie around his delicately, "Have to seal it too!"

"I promise," he says smiling before they kiss their thumbs and press their thumbs together to seal it, "Good girl,"

(Y/n) sends Katsuki a bright smile before wincing and holding her protesting stomach. The girl covering her mouth as she feels a wave of nausea hit, Shoto instantly acts and grabs a bucket from the kitchen, knowing she can't make the bathroom in time and holds it in front of her.

"Let it all out," Katsuki says rubbing her back, wincing as she gags while throwing up, maybe cupcakes weren't the best thing to feed her after all, "That's it,"

"I'll get her a water," Mitsuki says and grabs a cup, filling it with water and sets it down before grabbing some flannels and soaking them in cool water, "You didn't have to feed her cupcakes, Katsuki, you know they make her worse when she's sick!"

"I was trying to make her feel better you hag!" Katsuki shoots back glaring at her, he knew he made a mistake, he didn't need his mother pointing it out like it was the end of the world, "Don't you start telling me how to raise my kid!"

"Finished?" Shoto asks (Y/n), kissing her forehead as she nods groggily, setting the bucket down, her eyes watering, "Don't cry, it's okay,"

"It hurts," (Y/n) whimpers, snuggling into Shoto as he picks her up, Masaru grabbing the bucket to empty it and clean it out, "I'm sorry,"

"Don't be sorry, you're ill, it's okay,"...

"Can we watch Disney movies and cuddle?"...

"Anything for my little princess,"...

💙 ShigaDabi 💜

Dabi had his hands full for the next week or so. His little girl, unfortunately, caught chicken pox off some kid in her class whose parents didn't care about the wellbeing of others.Who lets their child go into school with chicken pox? Sure, he knew it was better to have it as a child than an adult, because when you have it once you never have it again. He wasn't too worried about looking after (Y/n), he saw his mother handle his siblings when they had chicken pox so he knew what to do... more or less...

Unfortunately, Shigaraki caught it too.

Shigaraki never encountered the chicken pox, mainly because he never had a social life when he was a child. Mainly focusing on his and his mentors goal of taking down All Might and training himself up to finish that goal. The worst thing he came down with as a child was eczema (and that was his quirks fault). Add the chicken pox to it and it was hell...

With chicken pox added to the males eczema, Shigaraki was in for a long, long week of trying not to scratch. He didn't want to scar.

So not only did Dabi have to look after an unhappy (Y/n) but he also had to look after a rather miffed Shigaraki.

And that wasn't a good thing...

Currently, the scarred male walks into the shared bedroom where Shigaraki and (Y/n) are cuddled up. The girl keeping her papa's wrists down so he isn't tempted to scratch. She didn't want her papa to hurt himself more! Dabi sends her a small smile and sits down on the bed holding some soothing ointment cream to help the itchiness of the blisters. To at least relieve some sort of pain that Shigaraki was experiencing. Blisters and irritated skin wasn't the best combination after all.

"Who's first?" Dabi asks as he ruffles his daughters hair, chuckling as she grins up toward him.

"Do papa, he keeps wanting to scratch," she says softly and snuggles into her papa's side, "I can't wait,"

"That's very sweet, baby," Dabi says as he squirts some cream into his finger and shifts toward his uncomfortable boyfriend, sending him a small smile, "It only lasts a week, I know you're uncomfortable Tomu,"

"God this is annoying," Shigaraki curses under his breath as Dabi begins rubbing the ointment along his neck first, the male hissing at the contact, "I'm gonna kill whoever gave this to her,"

"I know it's annoying babe, I know," Dabi reassures him, beginning to rub ointment over his face and arms, "You haven't scratched have you?"

"He hasn't, daddy! I made sure he didn't," (Y/n) says with a proud smile, being a responsible little bean for her parents by helping them both out. She couldn't help but feel responsible for giving Shigaraki the chicken pox, so she wanted to help as much as she could, "Papa's very strong though,"

Dabi chuckles as Shigaraki leans into him almost affectionately. The pale, blue haired boy often only showed affection when it came to his daughter or his boyfriend. And when he was ill or upset, the affection increased tenfold. The leader of the League was like a puppy.

"I promised to get (Y/n) some cake when this is over," Shigaraki says softly into his boyfriends cool skin while Dabi begins rubbing ointment into his daughters face, "Since she's being so helpful,"

"Well, I have a little treat for you both since I know how hard this week has been for you," Dabi admits, kissing his boyfriends nose with a smile as he runs his fingers through his boyfriends knotty hair, the scarred male making a mental note to brush his hair later, "Natsuo and Fuyumi got some takeout for us and I may have spoiled you both,"

"What is it daddy?" (Y/n) asks, whining as Shigaraki pulls her hand away from her neck, the girl wanting to scratch at her blisters, "Papa they hurt!"

"If I can't scratch, neither can you," Shigaraki says with a small smile, kissing her little button nose and she pouts adorably up at the male, "What did you get?"

"Well; our favourite takeout and I got you the latest video game that you've had your eye on for a while and I got (Y/n) her fifteenth princess dress," Dabi says and laughs at Shigaraki's pained groan, (Y/n) did love princess dresses (and she had way too many than her parents would like to admit), "Happy?"

"Yay! Thank you daddy!" (Y/n) cheers with a giggle, clapping her hands with a grin as she hugs Dabi, snuggling into him, "You're the best!"

"I do try, baby," Dabi hums with a chuckle as Fuyumi and Natsuo walk in, Natsuo sending Shigaraki a small reassuring smile.

"I got some painkillers for you to help with the pain," Natsuo says as he sets the down on the bedside table before sitting next to his niece and pulling her close, "Hey gorgeous, how you feeling?"

"It annoying, uncle Natsuo," (Y/n) says with a small pout, snuggling into the males warmth as he holds her close while Fuyumi turns the tv on to put one of her favourite films on, "I wanna go play but I can't!"

"Well, Auntie Himi hasn't had chicken pox and neither has Auntie Magne so you have to wait until you're better," Natsuo reminds her, chuckling as she whines. Her Auntie Magne and Auntie Himi were her favourite people to play with! It wasn't fair!

"How about we watch a movie, sweetie?" Fuyumi asks with a smile as Dabi unloads the takeout and hands his boyfriend his dish and his daughter her dish, "We can watch whatever you want,"

"Ooh! Can we watch Avengers?" (Y/n) asks, her eyes glittering as Fuyumi giggles, the girl had an obsession with heroes at the moment, "Please?"

At school, (Y/n) met her first ever hero! She came into school to tell the children all about the villains she encountered and how you can be anything you want. She was an inspiration to all young girls across the country being in the top 10. Rabbit Hero : Mirko. (Y/n) found her idol. She even got a picture and it was signed too! It was pinned up on the girls cork board in her room. Being the niece of one of the teachers and the granddaughter of Endeavor had its perks.

Even Hawks would babysit her! But that's because Hawks knew Dabi from childhood.

Although, Dabi was rather apprehensive about letting the winged hero look after his girl. Only because of how close he was with his father. It had nothing to do with Dabi doubting Hawks' ability to look after a child... well... kind of.

"Which one? The first one?" Dabi asks and chuckles as she nods happily with a giggle, "First one it is,"

"I can't believe she likes marvel,"...

"DC sucks babe,"...

"Marvel or DC, baby girl?"...

❤️ KiriMina 💖

(Y/n) wasn't a happy little bean.

All weekend, she had been excited to go out with her mama on an 'educational' field trip to her fathers agency to learn all about becoming a hero. To watch her daddy train and spar with Uncle Bakugo and Uncle Kaminari. She was so excited to go back to her fathers agency to watch him work and to try out some of the equipment with her mother. Then her week had to be ruined...

By the dreaded chicken pox.

Mina had to visit the school, from time to time, to pick up some work that was meant for her little girl. Her Auntie Momo and her Uncle Iida would homeschool her (sometimes Mr Aizawa would come and help out too!) instead of the girl being tormented at school. Sure, some parents had their concerns and their disagreements about homeschooling your child because of bullies but this was Mina's girl. She knew was it was like to be ridiculed for your appearance.

And being bullied takes a toll on your mental health, education and your confidence.

So when they went to the school together to get their work, (Y/n) accidentally bumped into someone. Who, Mina assumes, was probably infected with the chicken pox. Which then lead to where she is now:

Trying to keep (Y/n) in bed.

Much to the parents misfortune, (Y/n) didn't like it when she was stuck in bed. She hated being bed ridden with nothing to do. She wanted to go outside and play! She wanted to go dress up and play princesses or tea parties with her stuffed animals! She wanted to see Ikuya! She wanted to sit on the couch and watch Disney movies! Why did she have to stay in bed?! It was so boring!

So, ignoring her parents wishes of staying in bed like a good girl, (Y/n) decided to sneak out of her bedroom. Refusing to lay there like Sleeping Beauty or Snow White until someone came to make her feel better! She didn't need to wait for her daddy to come and give her cuddles! She wanted to leave!

Princess didn't need no man! Well... except her daddy...

Giggling quietly to herself, (Y/n) tiptoes out of her room before darting down the stairs, giggling triumphantly as she gets to the bottom of the stairs. Still no sign of her parents. This was great! With a grin, she skips toward her toy box to pull out her dolls. So far so good! No problems so —

Then Kirishima hoists her into his arms from behind making her shriek in surprise. The girl whining and whinging as the redhead kisses her cheek and heads back to her bedroom. (Y/n) struggling in her fathers arms as Mina follows them holding her lunch.

"Daddy! I don't wanna stay in my bed!" She grumbles, crossing her arms over her chest with a big pout as Kirishima sits her on her bed and kisses her forehead, "I'm bored! It's so boring!"

"You have your tv right there," Mina says with a giggle, sitting next to her daughter as she sets her lunch in her lap, "It's just so you can get better quicker, Princess, I know it's boring, mama and daddy will try make it interesting,"

"But I wanna go outside!" She whines, bashing her fists against the plush covers of her bed, pouting as Mina scoops some tomato soup into a spoon and holds it to her lips, "Mama! I don't want soup!"

"Princess, come on, if you eat your soup you can grow big and strong like daddy," she says with a soft smile, kissing her cheek as she reluctantly takes a mouthful of the soup with a pout, "Good girl,"

"We can cuddle and watch a movie, if you want, Princess?" Eijiro says, rubbing her back as (Y/n) reluctantly eats the tomato soup, chuckling when she makes a sound of disgust, "We can make popcorn and have some candy,"

"Yeah!" She squeals with a big smile, clapping her hands before whining as it angers her blisters, "Owie..."

"Here, sweetie," Mina says, grabbing some ointment and gently rubbing it into the blisters to calm them down, humming a soothing song to her little girl to calm her down as she whines, "Don't scratch, it'll scar and we don't want that do we, Princess?"

"Nope," she says with a giggle, smiling up at her mother as she kisses her nose, "Thank you mama,"

"You're welcome," she says as Eijiro walks in with a bowl of popcorn and a couple of bowls of candy, the male sitting on the other side of his daughter and kisses her cheek, "Wanna watch Disney movies?"

"Hmm... can we watch All Might movie?" She asks tilting her head, Uncle Katsuki making her sit through the movie more times than the girl can count, "Pretty please?"

Kirishima chuckles and nods, flicking through the channels until he finds the movie recorded on his tv. Katsuki must have recorded it when he stayed over at the weekend (Katsuki always stayed over every so often to babysit (Y/n) while the parents go out on date nights). The redhead turns the movie on before settling the bowls down between their laps, Mina hungrily grabbing handfuls of popcorn.

As the movie begins, (Y/n) nestles into the covers and yawns sleepily, nibbling on some candy while she gently watches the movie. Her eyes increasingly growing heavier and heavier as the movie proceeds. A small sigh leaving her lips as her head finally hits the pillow and she's out like a light.

Eijiro chuckles silently and nods toward (Y/n) as he looks at his girlfriend. Mina coos and makes sure she's tucked in properly before kissing her forehead.

"She's like you when you're ill,"...

"I don't like being in bed when I'm ill, it makes me feel worse than I already am,"...

"Alright Bakugo Jr."...

❤️ KiriBaku 🧡

Heroes never got sick! That's what Katsuki would tell her all the time. Heroes never get sick which is why they're so cool! Being sick is for weaklings! For pansies! (Y/n) never got sick! Never, ever ever! She wouldn't let anything stop her from becoming a hero! Not a measly cold! Not a measly fever! Nothing would stop her! Heroes were strong! They never got sick! Never!...

So why was (Y/n) staying at home when she was completely fine?

They didn't know how she got it or who gave it to her or why she had it, but (Y/n) came down with the horrible chicken pox. Eijiro thought maybe it was going around her grade considering chicken pox is quite common around her age. And Bakugo.... Well, Bakugo blames Midoriya's child, like always. If in doubt, always blame Deku or his kid, that was the way of Bakugo Katsuki.

The thing is, when (Y/n) is sick or she's unable to go to school because of something, she's ten times more likely to fly off the handle and get angry. Anything could set her off. Last time she was sick, Eijiro dropped her lunch on the floor (in accident) and she was in a mood for a couple hours. She wouldn't even talk to Eijiro no matter how hard he tried!

So how were the pair supposed to look after her when she had the chicken pox?!

Currently, Katsuki was in the middle of taping mittens to the girls hands despite her trying to bite and kick him off. The girl shrieking and screaming at him to get off, trying to overpower him with the little strength she has. Eijiro standing in the doorway, ready to step in whenever necessary, wincing as Bakugo pulls away with little teeth marks on his upper bicep. The girl whimpering as she tries to shake the mittens off.

"Daddy! Get them off!" She yells with a whine, trying to kick them off with her feet with a small sob, "It itches!"

"You're not scratching because you'll scar," Katsuki berates, flicking her forehead making her whine and hold her forehead with cute pout, "Calm yourself down otherwise you'll get worse,"

"But it hurts daddy!" She yells close to tears, whining as she bites at the mittens to pull them off, "Itchy!"

Kirishima walks over and hushes her gently, picking her up and kisses her forehead. Holding her close to his chest as he heads to the kitchen and grabs some ointment from the medicine cabinet, the girl helplessly trying to get the mittens off to scratch at the blisters. A whine leaving her lips as Bakugo pulls her hands away gently.

"Breathe, you'll make yourself worse," Eijiro whispers gently, bouncing her softly as she whines, "I know it hurts, I know. Can you be a good girl for mama and daddy? We can have spicy curry for dinner if you behave,"

"Daddy will be make it extra spicy if you stop scratching," Katsuki soothes, holding her close as she snuggles into him with a small whine, "That's my girl,"

"It hurts..." she complains as Eijiro gently begins to rub cream onto her blisters, the girl sitting in her fathers lap as they situate themselves in the living room with (Y/n) nibbling on a cookie, "Don't like chicken pox... it can die..."

"I know, pebble, I know," Eijiro coos, kissing her nose when he finishes, sending her a big smile, "Good girl! You're so brave!"

"How about you help daddy make dinner?" Katsuki asks holding her close, "You can help stir the pot,"

Much like her parents, (Y/n) didn't like sitting there and doing nothing. She wanted to get stuck in. She hated when she was bed ridden or stuck on the couch with nothing other than a blanket and her stuffed shark. So whenever she was off ill, her parents would often keep her occupied with anything and everything to prevent her from getting upset from doing nothing. Cooking was always something that (Y/n) loved to do, Katsuki even taught her how to make curry a week ago using his mother's secret recipe.

Mama Eijiro wasn't allowed to know!

Slowly, (Y/n) toddler to the sink with Bakugo and gently washes her hands. The parents getting her to use soap that doesn't irritate her blisters before gently patting them dry. Eijiro tying her Ground Zero apron around her before grabbing a headband to push her fringe out of her face.

"Daddy can handle the knife work, pebble," Eijiro says kissing her cheek as they all stand at the kitchen counter, watching Katsuki begin to slice onions, carrots and other vegetables to put into the pot, "You okay? How's your skin? Still itchy?"

"Yeah..." (Y/n) says with a small sniffles, going to rub the back of her hand against her eye before whining as Eijiro shakes his head and pulls her hand away, not wanting her to infect her eye and get something worse, the male gently letting her use his finger, "How long til it goes?"

"Well, it usually goes within a week," Katsuki replies as he begins stirring the pot, adding a selection of spices and chicken to the curry, the delicious smell of curry and spices filling the kitchen making (Y/n)'s mouth water, "But it'll be okay, it should go away soon, brat, daddy and mama will help you beat the chicken pox's butt,"

"Yeah! We're gonna defeat the evil chicken pox until it's gone!" Eijiro says with a grin, kissing her cheek making her giggle, "No one messes with our baby and gets away with it!"

"Yeah! We're gonna kick it's butt!" (Y/n) says with a small giggle, throwing her little fists into the air with a grin, "Make it cry!"

"Atta girl!"...

"Can I stir the curry now, daddy?"...

"Course you can, babe,"...

Tenya went into overboard as soon as he realised his little girl had the chicken pox, he wouldn't let her do anything unless it was to go to the toilet. Everything else, he did for her. He made her lunch. He carried her everywhere around the house. He swaddled her in blankets. Gave her more cookies than usual. If Ochaco didn't know any better, she would have though Tenya was the mother of their little girl. Ochaco couldn't get a word in edgeways when Tenya was caring for their little girl.

The speed hero instantly messaged and alerted all the parents within his daughters class. Telling them that his daughter has 'regrettably' come down with the chicken pox and that they should look out for the signs just in case if it's spread. Always looking out for others, making sure that everyone was aware.

Then, to help his little girl feel as comfortable as possible, to make sure that she wasn't in pain, he bought soothing ointment to help the blisters. As well as that, he bought some medicine for her to help the pain. He even cut her nails so she didn't scar when she scratched and put socks on her hands to prevent herself from hurting herself. Making sure she wore loose clothing and even had her take a cooling bath to stop the blisters from hurting her.

He always took (Y/n) coming down with something very seriously, after all.

Standing in the kitchen, talking with one another about anything and everything, stood Ochaco and Tsuyu. The two women drinking their teas as they talk about their lives so far. Tsuyu telling Ochaco all about her new addition to her family, her aunt having another baby meaning she had a new baby cousin. The frog quirked female wanting to help out with (Y/n) so she was making her favourite chocolate pudding while Ochaco made her some got chocolate with whipped cream, shaved chocolate and marshmallows.

"Tenya's going overboard in caring for her at the moment, he's not letting her lift so much as a finger," Ochaco says with a giggle, stirring the cocoa powder into the milk and letting it dissolve, "It's adorable, really, you don't often see Tenya act like a mother hen,"

"He's always acting like a mother hen, Ochaco," Tsu replies as she whips the chocolate pudding with a small ribbit, her tongue sticking out in concentration, "If (Y/n) got so much as a paper cut he'd hit the roof,"

"Yeah, you're not wrong," Ochaco replies with a smile, looking up from the counter as Tenya walks in with a small hum, "Hey Tenya, how are you baby?"

"Alright, (Y/n)'s getting uncomfortable again so I'm gonna rub ointment on her," Tenya says as he opens the medicine cabinet before pulling the ointment out, "Then we're gonna cuddle and watch movies,"

"I made her hot chocolate," Ochaco says, smiling as she follows her boyfriend toward the living room where her little angel is curled up on the couch, shifting uncomfortably from the blisters pressing into her skin, "Hey Angel, mommy made you got chocolate,"

"Thank you mommy," (Y/n) says with a smile, giggling as Tenya gently rubs ointment across her arms as the ointment tickles her softly, "Hi Auntie Tsu!"

"Hello, (Y/n), kero," Tsu hums with a smile, walking in with a bowl full of her famous chocolate pudding, setting it down on the coffee table for her when she's ready to eat it, "I made your favourite since mommy said you weren't feeling very well,"

"I'm okay! Daddy says I have the chicken pox!" (Y/n) says with a big grin, snuggling into Tenya as he swaddles her in her blanket, "It's an infection that causes rashes and spots! It's itchy too! Daddy said it should go within a week!"

"I see," Tsu says as she hands (Y/n) a spoon to dig into her chocolate pudding, the girl happily eating the chocolatey goodness as she does a little happy dance, smiling toward her daddy who chuckles ruffling her hair, "Are you sad you can't go to school this week?"

"A little bit... I miss Hiko!" (Y/n) says with a giggle, her mouth full of chocolate pudding, smiling with her chocolate stained teeth, "But daddy's keeping me on top of work so I don't miss anything!"

"That's good," Tsu replies sitting down in the armchair as she sips at her tea, "Do you want to be as smart as daddy one day?"

"Yeah! I'm gonna be the smartest hero ever!" (Y/n) proclaims with a giggle before whining as the blisters run against her shirt, "Owie!"

"I'll go get the ointment,"...

"Why don't you give her a bath?"...

"She just had one this morning!"...

Chicken pox was running rampant through (Y/n)'s grade at kindergarten. Every few weeks, a couple of classmates would go home as they had caught the dreaded infection. Unfortunately, it was contagious... so it was practically inevitable for (Y/n) to catch it.

And not one of the pro heroes responsible for (Y/n) were ready for the moment when (Y/n) caught the chicken pox.

Not in the slightest...

It wasn't even three hours into the day, it was around quarter to three in the morning, all three parents were plunged out of their sleep to the sound of their little girls cries. In an instant, the three darted out of the bed to take action. Ending up with Todoroki slipping on the bedsheets, Bakugo being tangled up in the bedsheets and Midoriya stubbing his toe on his nightstand. The three ignoring their own problems to help (Y/n) with hers.

Shoto was the first one in her room, instantly flicking her bedroom light on to find her wriggling uncomfortably. Her face bright red with tears streaming down her cheeks as she sobs uncomfortably. Katsuki is next, pushing Shoto to the side and pulls the girl into his arms, hushing her gently.

"Shhh, baby, shhh," Katsuki soothes, rubbing her back as Izuku teeters in with some hot chocolate, whipped cream and marshmallows, "Whats wrong? Are you okay?"

"She's covered in spots," Shoto points out, sitting beside Katsuki as he grabs a tissue and gently wipes her eyes, sending her a reassuring smile as she whimpers, "Is she ill?"

"It's chicken pox," Izuku points out as he sets the hot chocolate down and grabs some ointment from the bathroom next door, "She's uncomfortable,"

"Awww, my poor little snowflake," Shoto coos, pulling her into his arms and gently cuddling her from behind as Izuku begins to rub ointment over her arms and legs, the girl whimpering and whining as she shifts, "Daddy's here,"

"Drink some hot chocolate, sweetie," Katsuki says holding the mug toward her and smiles gently as she slowly takes a sip before shaking her head and whining, the heat angering the blisters, "You don't want it?"

"Hurts my hand," (Y/n) murmurs, snuggling into Shoto's right side, the coolness of his skin making her feel more comfortable, "Like cold,"

"The heat must be angering the blisters," Izuku says muttering to himself as he goes off on a tangent, "If heat makes them even more painful then we should put the air conditioner on. Maybe she could stick by Shoto instead of having a cold bath because that could lead to hyperthermia if it's too cold and I don't want her to get even worse. Maybe we should give her an popsicle, if she's struggling to drink water then —"

"Izuku, it's too early for this shit," Katsuki curses rubbing the bridge of his nose as he heads downstairs to get a cold drink for his little girl, letting Shoto have the hot chocolate instead, "She doesn't like heat, that's all you have to say,"

"Stop overthinking," Shoto says, a lot more calmly, toward his greenette boyfriend who sheepishly rubs the back of his neck with a giggle, "She'll be okay, it's nothing major, all children get this at some point, right?"

"Yeah, I guess," Midoriya says with a smile as Katsuki comes back with a cool drink, handing it to (Y/n) who happily begins to drink it, "Wanna sleep with us?"

"Would that infect us though?" Katsuki asks tilting his head confused, "We have to wash her sheets,"

"Well we had it when we were five, Kacchan," Izuku says with a smile before looking toward Shoto, "How about you Sho?"

"Yeah I had it," Shoto says, letting (Y/n) play with little spheres of ice he created to soothe her blisters, "It wasn't that bad considering my cold body temperature,"

"Not all of us are privileged like you Shoto," Katsuki says, chuckling as (Y/n) tries to eat the ice sphere and her mouth is suddenly ten times bigger, "Don't eat it baby, you'll choke,"

"Okay mama," (Y/n) says with a giggle, holding the sphere in her hands as she studies it, "No school?"

"No school," Izuku confirms with a small smile, "Just to be on the safe side, we'll give it a week or so,"

"Yay! I get to stay home and see no one!"...

"(Y/n)!"...

"What? I don't like talking to people,"...
