When They Do Your Makeup
❤️ TodoDeku 💚
Izuku hasn't done anyone's makeup for a long, long while. The last time he did someone's makeup was when he was in his first year of high school and he was helping Uraraka with her makeup. The pair were trying to see what lipstick shade would suit her and then figuring out how contouring worked. It was a very interesting yet humiliating experience whenever Izuku looks back on it. All he remembers is coming out of Ochaco's room looking like a complete clown as soon as he shuts the door behind him.
Since then, he's more or less refused to go near or even touched makeup.
It's not that he doesn't like it, it's just that he knows he's terrible at it! Once, for a dare, he tried to do a full face of makeup and ended up scaring his (three year old at the time) daughter who had nightmares for two days. Another time, he remembers using lipstick instead of something else on his homework and ended up ruining it. He's made plenty of mistakes with makeup, a lot of them being very hilarious. Izuku and makeup just don't mix. He doesn't like using it when he knows he'll make a complete fool out of himself.
His earliest traumatic memory of using makeup (it wasn't traumatic, Izuku is overreacting), was when he stole his mothers makeup bag from her dress with Kacchan. Both him and Katsuki managed to work their way into her bedroom, steal the makeup bag and do each other's makeup. Katsuki made Izuku look a picture. A hilarious picture with smeared lipstick across his cheeks and patchy eyeshadow on his temples that didn't need to be there. Izuku swears his mother still has that picture too!
So when he walks past his daughters bedroom and finds her sitting in front of her mirror playing with her hair, he can't help but watch her. The male intrigued as his daughter finishes tying off her hairstyle and grabs her makeup bag. As she grabs her foundation, she looks up and smile toward him. The male unable to stop the small chuckle leaving his lips as (Y/n)'s eyes light up.
"Hi mama, you okay?" (Y/n) asks, tilting her head as she looks in the mirror and gently pumps some foundation into her hand to begin blending it into her face with a makeup sponge, "What's up?"
"Just wondering what you're up to," Izuku hums, walking in when he gets the green light from his daughter (knowing that he shouldn't walk in without her say so) and sits down on her bed, "Where you going?"
"Me and Sakura are going out for milkshakes," (Y/n) says, smiling toward her mother through the mirror as Izuku nods along and watches her fluid moments, "She won her division in her kickboxing tournament so we're gonna celebrate,"
"Oh that's nice," Izuku hums with a small smile. The relationship between Sakura and his daughter was almost sisterly. The pair of them do everything together and there hasn't been a day when they're not together. Sakura is practically Izuku's second daughter, "Hey, cinder,"
"Yeah?" (Y/n) asks, looking toward him as she grabs her eyeliner before looking at the mirror to sort her eyeliner, "What's up? I'll be home before dinner, I'm not gonna miss cold soba Saturday,"
"No it's not that," Izuku hums before biting his lip and looking down at his lap. The male sighing as he shakes his head, "Never mind, don't w —"
"Nah; come on, mama. Tell me," (Y/n) says looking toward her mother as she finishes her eyeliner and sends him a small reassuring smile, "What's up?"
"C... can I... uh... can I do your makeup?" Izuku asks nervously making (Y/n) giggles gently and set down her eyeliner to grab her lipstick, "Please?"
"I'm nearly done but..." (Y/n) says, grabbing her lipliner and lipstick before handing it to her mother who sends her a smile as she sits in front of him, "You can do my lipstick,"
Izuku couldn't help but smile as he takes a deep breath and psyches himself up for this. He can do this. He knows he can. After telling himself a million times that he can do this, he grabs the lipliner and slowly begins to draw over her lip line. His tongue sticking out in concentration. He knew how much was riding on this. His daughter had just done her whole face and if he messed up he would run the risk of her having to do it all over again.
Breathe, Izuku. You got this! It's not the end of the world. Your daughter has put so much trust in you! Don't ruin it now by ruining her makeup! You got this!
As he finishes the lipliner, he pulls away and takes a deep breath hoping that his daughter loves the liner. She quickly checks the mirror to make sure her mama did it correctly before nodding and then letting Izuku do her lipstick. The greenette smiling when he finishes and doing a silent cheer when his daughter blows him a kiss.
"Maybe I'm not so bad after all,"...
"You're better than dad. Dad thought that my highlighting my face is actually grabbing a highlighter and putting it all over your face,"...
"Your dad is a bit slow,"...

Denki couldn't believe his luck when he walked into the living room. He's been waiting for this sort of opportunity for months and finally, finally, he's got it! He's found the ripe opportunity. Now it's there, the opening allowing him to strike. A grin on his lips as he immediately races upstairs to grab a small bag, an evil yet happy laugh leaving his lips as he slides down the banister ignoring the confused look his husband gives him.
Now is his time to strike! He mustn't let it go to waste lest he wants to wake up to another horrible surprise.
As he gets downstairs, he races back into the living room where he finds his culprit. A grin, both evil and full of mischief, spreads across his lips as he slowly kneels down by them and takes a deep breath. He can't breathe to heavily lest he wants to jeopardise his mission. He needs to act like he isn't there, hoping and praying that he won't be compromised while he does his dastardly deed.
For these past couple of weeks, much to Hitoshi's disappointment, Denki and (Y/n) were going head to head in some sort of prank war. It started with (Y/n) making a balloon cake for Denki for his birthday with frosting blowing up in his face without a second thought. Then Denki switched her alarm clock at midnight to make it like she was late for school. Then (Y/n) put her fathers hand in a bowl of warm water, making him pee himself.
It's just all out pandemonium in the household at the moment. Poor Hitoshi is just stuck in the middle of it all.
So now, with his daughter fast asleep having her afternoon nap, Denki knew that this was his prime opportunity to strike. He knew exactly what he was going to do, he's been planning this out for a couple of days and finally, finally, he can put his plan into action. He couldn't wait to find his daughters reaction when she wakes up and sees what her papa has done to her face.
Her reaction is going to be priceless!
Grinning ecstatically, Denki begins to grab the foundation from the makeup bag and slowly begins to work it in. The male sticking his tongue out in utter concentration as he grabs the eyeliner and begins doodling all over his daughters face with the eyeliner. A chuckle leaving his lips as he finishes drawing cat whiskers across her cheeks before doodling little squiggles across her skin.
"You are not drawing a penis on our daughters face, I hope," Hitoshi says walking in with a cup of coffee in his hands, the male arching a brow as he assesses the drawings on his daughters face, "You draw one and you're on the couch for the next month,"
"I'm not going to draw a penis, why would I do that?" Denki asks, looking toward Hitoshi who sends him a deadpanned look which makes the blonde rub the back of his neck, "I would draw a penis on you but not on her, I have standards,"
"Not a lot of standards, clearly," Hitoshi hums, sitting on the armchair and takes a deep breath as he watches his husband draw all over her face, "Why are you doing this again?"
"She made me wet the bed! This is payback!" Denki barks before shrieking as his daughter stirs in her sleep. The little girl humming as she slowly sits up and stretches her arms over her head. Trying to play it off, Denki sits by the coffee table to do his eyeliner, "Hey sleepyhead, how are you?"
"Mmm fine," (Y/n) yawns, taking a take breath before rubbing her eyes. As she pulls her hands away from her, she notices a black smudge and frowns, "Papa!"
"What?" Denki asks innocently as she kicks his shin before running to the bathroom to check what her father has done, "I haven't done anything,"
"Yes you have! You idiot!" (Y/n) says, checking her reflection and cursing under her breath as she looks toward the mirror and sees the state of her face, "Daddy!"
Hitoshi smirks to himself as he pushes to his feet and cracks his knuckles. Denki immediately pales and scrambles to his feet before darting away from his husband with a squeal. Hitoshi smirks and runs after him, ready to catch him and pin him down for his daughter to get her revenge.
"I thought you weren't a part of this!"...
"Oh, I'm not. But I'd love to see her kick your ass,"...
"Toshi! You're supposed to be on my side!"...

Shota hums gently to himself as he sits his daughter on the couch. The male allowing his daughter to get comfortable as he grabs the makeup bag from her bedroom and checks everything to make sure he has what he needs before heading back downstairs. As he gets downstairs, he walks back into the living room and chuckles to himself. His black eyes softening as he finds his youngest daughter sitting on the couch with Sugar and Spice sitting either side of her, Fluffy curling up in her lap.
Grabbing the stool from the side of the couch, Shota positions it in front of his daughter before sitting himself down on it. The male clears his throat as he grabs the foundation from the bag and one of the makeup sponges his daughter owns, Shota mentally preparing himself in doing this after not doing this for quite a long while. He grabs a hair tie, quickly ties his hair back into a man bun before nodding to himself.
Let's do this.
Today, his daughter had a birthday party to attend. It was one of his students children's birthday party and she was invited as she is quite close with them. So Shota decided to help her get ready. He had picked out the dress she would wear (he asked many people if he chose right as he's been told he has bad taste in fashion). He had chosen the shoes too. Now, as promised, he is also doing her makeup for her.
Something that he used to do for Eri when she was younger.
Shota, over the years, has developed his skills in makeup. To begin with, he didn't know where to begin. He'd often get Nemuri out to instruct him on what to do while he sorted out the makeup. Then, after a while, he would do it himself and get better and better. He's amazing at what he does and he'd do anything for his daughters.
However, it annoys Hizashi to no end that he can't do the makeup...
Hizashi has always wanted to do his daughters makeup. Makeup is his thing! He is amazing at eyeliner! So why doesn't Shota let him do his kids makeup?... maybe it's because Hizashi can produce quite eccentric and quite 'out there' makeup looks that often scare his girls instead of making them smile.
"Right, close your eyes," Shota hums, pumping some foundation onto the sponge before gently blending it over her skin with a small hum, "What look were you thinking? Natural?"
"Yeah, with eyeliner," (Y/n) says, fluttering her eyes open as she looks up at her father and smiles, "And sparkly eyeshadow,"
Shota chuckles and nods with a smile, grabbing the other shades to begin contouring her face gently. The long haired male finding it almost therapeutic as he does his daughters makeup. His daughter sitting patiently and happily, smiling to herself as he sorts out the contouring and then reaches back into the makeup back to get the eyeshadow.
Once he has the nude colours, he gently begins to wipe eyeshadow all over her eyelids. The male sticking his tongue out in concentration as he makes sure that it's not patchy whatsoever and it's all blended correctly. A smile on his lips when he realises that his work is always going to be amazing, his daughter already looking ethereal as he grabs the eyeliner and proceeds to do the cat flick at the end of the eyeline.
As he finishes up, he gets his daughter to open her eyes. He quickly assesses his work, making sure that both eyes are identical in their appearance and that everything looks perfect. Once happy, Shota nods and kisses her nose with a faint chuckle before handing her a handheld mirror so she can admire her appearance.
"What do you think?" Shota asks, tilting his head as he runs his fingers through his hair and clears his throat, "Be honest, too. Don't say you like it if it's just to be nice, honesty is the best policy,"
"I love it, papa," (Y/n) says, setting the mirror down onto the coffee table before wrapping her arms around Shota's neck and cuddling him tightly, "Thank you so much,"
"You're welcome, kitten," Shota coos, rubbing her back before pulling away and tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, "Ready to go?"
As (Y/n) scurries off to put her shoes on, Hizashi pouts toward his husband. The blonde crossing his arms over his chest as he frowns at the love of life. Arching a brow, Shota looks toward his husband and smirks.
"Why can't I do her makeup, Sho?"...
"Because your idea of makeup is horrible,"...
"Wh — is not!"...

Makeup has been Katsuki's life.
This is no understatement. Ever since he was little, he has been educated in the importance of the use of makeup. How to make someone look dynamic, how to make them look fierce. He knows what contouring makes someone look sharp and sophisticated and what contouring makes someone look soft and sweet. He knows what colouring represents what and how to use them. His parents have been educating him on fashion and appearance for years. He's been in the game for so long that he even knows how to do eyeliner with his eyes closed!
Katsuki knew that if he didn't become a hero, he probably would have went into the fashion business. He would make everyone looks hot as hell or as cute as a button and he the best fashion designer out there. Fashion, hairstyling and makeup has been his life! He's grown up with parents that are the biggest fashion designers in Japan (except Best Jeanist)! Of course he's going to know his polka dots to his spots and his denim from his suede.
So, whenever his daughter can to him in need of having her makeup done, he could do it without a second thought. He needn't worry about if it's going to be messed up because he's Katsuki Bakugo, he doesn't mess anything up! He's great at everything! He's the best at doing anything and everything. It's almost as if he's his daughters own personal makeup artist in some aspects.
Not that he's complaining. He loves doing his daughters makeup!
A faint chuckle leaves his lips as he leans against the doorway of his daughters bedroom, ruby irises watching as his daughter begins to braid her hair. Her eyes focusing on her reflection as she makes sure that her hair is all in place, that there isn't a hair out of order. In the background, echoing around the room, is a playlist full of her favourites songs. The girl getting ready for a day of shopping with her friendship group. She's already clad in denim overalls that stop mid thigh and a white ribbed shirt underneath. After tying off her braids, she takes a deep breath and looks up at her mother.
As if everything falls into place, Katsuki grabs the makeup bag from the dresser and sits down in front of her on a small stools. The male smiles to himself as he grabs the foundation from the bag and the makeup sponge that goes with it. A faint chuckle on his lips as his daughter closes her eyes and trusts Katsuki with everything. The girl even smiling to herself as Katsuki begins to blend the foundation into her skin.
"So what's the plan for today?" He asks, smiling as his daughter flutters her eyes open to look up at him, "Where and who are you shopping with?"
"My friends from school," (Y/n) says, closing her eyes again as Katsuki places the foundation under her eyes, "We're gonna go to that new clothes store that grandma Mitsuki opened up in the mall. Grandma said that I could bring a couple of friends and we could have the store to ourselves!"
"Oh that's nice," Katsuki hums, gently blowing on the powder to set everything in with a small hum, "So what friends are coming,"
"Uh... Kyomi is coming," (Y/n) says, letting her mother do her eyeliner while she fiddles with her hands, "And Ryumi,"
"What about Hyuna?" Katsuki asks, tilting his head as he grabs the lipstick to do her lips, "Is she not coming?"
"No, she and Aiya had a fight," (Y/n) says, looking toward her mother who arches a brow, "Aiya kissed Hyuna's boyfriend and told Akako not to tell anyone but then she told Hyuna so now they're not talking,"
"So is Aiya coming?" Katsuki asks, always interested in the beef that goes down in his daughters friendship group. She has a huge friendship group and it's safe to say his daughter is the most popular girl in school so she knows all the dirt, "Or no?"
Although he wants to know everything about the beef in his daughters friendship group, Katsuki has always been on the fence about his daughters group, despite how interesting their feuds can be. He doesn't want her to get mixed up in something that'll make her feel upset... however, he knows how smart his daughter is. She can be very manipulative when she wants to. She's always the one that people think would be so gullible because of who her father is but...
She isn't a Bakugo for no reason!
"Aiya's coming, only because she owes money to Kyomi because Aiya decided to break her new lipgloss at school," (Y/n) says with a faint smile, giggling at her mothers snort, "It's really petty, I know,"
"And Akako?"
"Nope, she called Ryumi fat on her post the other day and Ryumi punched her," (Y/n) replies, spilling all the dirt to her mother who drinks it all in with a grin. His daughter doesn't get into fights. She's smart and she's strategic. She refuses to get into petty feuds that end in tears then friendship again, "Plus Iku is coming and last time I checked, Iku and Akako aren't on speaking terms after Iku threw chocolate milk over Akako's dress at her birthday party,"
"Your friends don't get along huh?"...
"They're drama queens, it's what they do. They'll get over it and be friends in a week,"...
"Your friendship group scares me,"...
💙 ShigaDabi 💜
"Dad, can you do my makeup? I'm going out with friends later," (Y/n) asks, walking toward her father who immediately sits up and stares at her like she has two heads. A faint sound of confusion leaving the males lips as (Y/n) sets the makeup bag in his lap, "Just natural, please... nothing too big. We're just going shopping,"
Dabi sits there like a deer in headlights, staring at his daughter dumbfounded as she sits in front of him and waits for him to get started. The fourteen year old girl waiting for Dabi to pull out the foundation and begin to do her makeup just like she found out he used to do for Fuyumi when they were kids and Toya was still Toya and was still at home. Her eyes staring toward her father expectantly, waiting for him to begin the process. A grin on her lips as she watches Dabi fumble over opening the make up bag.
Dabi hasn't done this sort of thing in years... he hasn't even done Toga's makeup because she believes that he's horrendous at it. To be perfectly honest, he is horrendous at doing makeup. Dabi can't count the amount of times he's used a makeup product the wrong way whenever Fuyumi asked him to do her makeup when they were kids. He used the lipstick as blusher. Foundation was always forgotten about. Eyeliner went everywhere.
Don't even get him started on contouring!
As Dabi opens up the makeup bag, he stares at the contents like they're foreign aliens. The male gawking at the prestigious packaging that seemed to make the makeup look expensive. It almost seemed like a crime to be holding something that must have cost a fortune in his scarred hands. He didn't even know what to use for what. He didn't even where to start! Do you start with blush? Eyeshadow? Lipstick?!
What's a highlighter?! He thought those were that stationary that highlights key words in passages! He's never heard of makeup highlighters! And Bronzor?
Now they're just making up words!
As he assesses each of the contents, he notices his daughter slowly getting more and more annoyed at how long he's taking. She can't be late to see her friends! They're going to take the train to Tokyo and go shopping! She can't look like she's been dragged through a bush! She has to look amazing and show up everyone else that's there! She wants to stand out but her father is stopping her because he's too worried about the damn packaging!
"Dad, do you —"
"I got it, don't you worry," Dabi hums, still confused as he looks between liquid and powdered foundation. Does he use both? Or does he just go with one of them? What makeup brush does he use? Why is there a sponge?! His mind reels with a ton of thoughts as he keeps pulling out more and more things, "Oh my god, how much do you need?!"
"That's not a lot, you should see what my friend has," (Y/n) says simply, rubbing the back of her neck as she recalls her friend having a whole shelf dedicated to just makeup and skincare alone, "Now do you know how to do this? Or shall I just ask Auntie Mimi?"
"No, I can —"
"No he can't," Tomura cuts in, smirking toward his husband as Dabi glares his way and places the makeup on the coffee table, "You can't do makeup. Himiko won't even let you near her with makeup and she drinks blood! What does that tell you?"
"Hey! I can too, do makeup. I —"
"Dabi, let's be honest," Tomura hums, crossing his arms over his chest as he watches his husband make a sound of disagreement, "You can't do makeup for shit,"
"Fine, if you're so amazing and cool," Dabi hums, pushing to his feet and leaving the space in front of his daughter vacant, "Go ahead. You try,"
Tomura sneers playfully at his husband before sitting in front of his daughter and pulling out the makeup. His eyes immediately widen like saucers as he assesses each and every one of the products like they're aliens. A small nervous chuckle leaving his lips as he sets them down and shakes his head. His mind reeling at the fact that people put all that on their face.
Behind him, Dabi laughs to himself. The male almost laughing in a gloating manner as he watches his boyfriend almost combust at the sight of the makeup. Tomura hasn't seen anything like this before. Last time he checked, a foundation was something that was to do with construction. What is this?!
"You put all this on your face?" Tomura asks with wide eyes, staring at his daughter who nods indifferently while Tomura assesses the lipstick, "What even is this?! Where did you get it?"
"Grandpa took me to the makeup store with grandma and bought me some makeup," (Y/n) says with a shrug, taking the lipstick from her father and setting it down. "Why are you being so weird with it?"
"Because that's weird!" Tomura squeaks, grabbing onto Dabi as he stands up and stares at his daughter as she rolls her eyes and begins to do her makeup herself in the small handheld mirror, "Who puts stuff on their face?"
"Papa, you can't talk, you have really have skin,"...
"Pfft! She told you—"...
"Dad, you have shit skin too,"...

"I wanna have a go at doing (Y/n)'s makeup,"
That was the last thing Mina had imagined her husband saying on a Saturday afternoon while they were snuggling on the couch watching a movie. The pinkette couldn't help but smile to herself as she looks toward her red headed boyfriend and sits up, her eyes sparkling with happiness at the serious look in her husbands red eyes. The grin on his lips was of determination as he looks toward his daughter who's snuggled in her blanket with Gumdrop (her pet chinchilla) eating a stick of carrot.
Eijiro has always wanted to be a part of things in his daughters life. He's read up on everything he can so he understands what his daughter is going through. He's read about bras, he's read about periods (making sure that he has everything he needs in her hamper) and he's even read books about being a woman so he can grasp his understanding of it and let his daughter know that she isn't alone and that she's in a safe environment. Eijiro has tried to be the best father he can be. That's his goal in life, after all.
Recently, his daughter has become obsessed with makeup. She loves the colours and the amazing looks she finds on social media's and she desperately wants to have a go at making the designs herself to see what they'd look like. She's done her own too and they look amazing, Mina has even posted a couple on her own account to show everyone how creative her girl is. To know that Eijiro wants to be a part of that is going to mean so much to her...
"What were you thinking?" Mina asks softly, kissing his cheek with a small hum while Eijiro grabs his notepad from the coffee table. Mina's eyes widening at the sheer amount of makeup looks he had concocted, "Oh baby... there's amazing,"
"You think? I just thought of these," Eijiro hums with a smile full of pride. A chuckle leaving his lips as Mina flicks through the designs, "They're based off of everyone's hero costume. Katsuki kinda helped me with a couple,"
"She'll love these," Mina hums, smiling to herself as she gently traces the Pinky design with a small giggle, "Oh she'll absolutely love them,"
Excited, Eijiro pushes to his feet and heads toward his daughter. The girl slowly looks up from her lap and sits up, gently moving Gumdrop so she's still comfortable. As she sits up, Eijiro slides beside her and wraps an arm around her to pull her close. Slowly, he slides the notebook into her lap for her to flick through, her eyes widening slightly with realisation as she looks toward her father. The male nods which causes her smile to stretch wider across her face.
"Want me to do your makeup?" Eijiro asks with a smile, almost chuckling when his daughter nods enthusiastically and rushes to get her makeup bag. The girl setting her chinchilla down onto the coffee table to go get it, "I'll take that as a yes,"
Unable to stop the fond laughter, Mina shakes her head and picks up Gumdrop. A faint giggle leaving Mina's lips as she places Gumdrop back into her pen. Seconds later, (Y/n) arrives back with her bag full of makeup, her eyes twinkling with excitement as she spreads all her makeup products across the coffee table. The girl almost combusting with the amount of excitement coursing through her veins.
Her dad finally wants to do her makeup! This is the best day ever!
Grinning like the Cheshire Cat, (Y/n) slides onto the couch in front of her father and looks up at him expectantly. Her legs slightly swing with excitement as he grabs the foundation from the array of makeup products and begins to work on his daughters face. The male almost in his element as he blends in the foundation with Mina in the background keeping an eye on things. The girl making sure that Eijiro isn't using too much.
Getting makeup for herself was a hassle in itself, let alone getting makeup for her daughter... Mina and (Y/n)'s skin tone is very difficult to buy in foundation colours and when they do find it, it's usually extremely expensive. Having to find pink and light pink foundation is like finding a needle in a haystack. Contouring is also a hassle in itself!
That's why Mina is releasing her own makeup brand where all skin tones will be included no matter how rare or how common it may be! She's even investing in foundation for invisible people like Hagakure!
Lucky for her, Eijiro has had his fair share of having makeup done to him and doing makeup to other people. Having six sisters speaks for itself, after all. His younger sisters would want to do his makeup while the older ones would want him to do theirs. So that's why Eijiro is so comfortable with doing this. He's done this thousand times before and he'll do it a thousand times more.
Mina couldn't believe her luck. She really couldn't. How she managed to score a guy as amazing as Eijiro is beyond her. She has a beautiful little girl who is her whole universe, she wouldn't ever trade the for anything. She has the most amazing husband who is sweet and kind and handsome and chivalrous. He's also an amazing dad...
She wouldn't change that for the world...
"You okay, mom? You in your own world?"...
"I'm just happy sweetie,"...

Humming a soft tune to himself, Katsuki stands in front of his bedroom mirror in a suit and tie. The male smirks to himself, winking at his reflection as he adjusts his cuff links and his collar, making himself look as presentable as he possibly can. A faint chuckle leaving his lips as he grabs his cologne and sprays himself, Katsuki's head filling with self compliments as he tells himself that he's going to be the most handsome hero at the gala (well, him and Eijiro). The blonde thanking his lucky stars that his parents are fashion designers otherwise he'd look like an utter mess.
Leaving the bathroom, with a towel wrapped around his midsection, is Eijiro. The redhead wolf whistles at his husband, biting his lip as he winks at the blonde who chuckle and presses his lips against his own for a split second. The couple smiling between one another before Eijiro quickly slides into his underwear and then into his suit. The redhead smirking toward Katsuki as the blonde does his tie and kisses his cheek for good measure before checking themselves out in the mirror.
Tonight, to Eijiro and Katsuki's excitement, the hero commission is holding a gala for heroes. Its a yearly event that heroes of all ranks and of all ages go to, to sit back and relax, have a drink and socialise with other heroes. It's their way of giving the heroes a night off (sure there's still heroes on duty) but they all have a night to themselves without worrying about being called to a scene. It's a sort of thank you for dedicating your lives to saving others for this year.
Both Eijiro and Katsuki enjoy the gala, they love having the evening where they can just have a drink, have a laugh and just enjoy themselves. Eijiro always goes to see Amajiki (who gets dragged to it by Mirio) to see how he is. Katsuki always goes to see what Shoto is up to and what Izuku is up to (totally not to catch up with them). The top three heroes always socialising with one another and having a laugh at Shoto whenever he says something stupid.
However, this year, they decided to bring their daughter.
With no one to keep an eye on their daughter tonight, (Y/n) had no other choice but to go with them. It's not that they don't trust her, she's been left on her own many times, it's just that she's been having a rough couple of days and Eijiro believes going out with them will make her feel better. It's not a bad thing that she's going, to be honest they can't wait to take her.
Eijiro knows that Izumi is going as well so she will have someone to talk to at least! Plus, Eijiro ships them both so hard that he really wants them to date (but he won't say anything to Katsuki since Izumi is Izuku's daughter).
With both Eijiro and Katsuki dressed, the pair of them take a deep breath and head toward their daughters room. A faint smile plays on Katsuki's lips as they find (Y/n) in her room standing in front of the mirror with a jumpsuit on. The jumpsuit was designed by Mitsuki herself, made with silk fabric that makes (Y/n) look stunning. The girl had just finished tying her hair into a pair of messy braids.
"Aww, don't you look beautiful?" Eijiro coos, hugging his daughter and kissing her forehead as the girl hum and snuggles into her mother, "My beautiful little pebble,"
"Ma!" (Y/n) whines, pouting toward her mother who chuckles and scrunches his nose as she pokes his nose with her index finger, "How long have we got to go there for?"
"Well, if Uncle Deku leaves early you can go with him, sound good?" Katsuki asks, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear as she nods gently and giggles when Katsuki pokes her nose, "And you can stay over there if he's happy to do that,"
"Plus Izumi, Ichika and Hinata will be there," Eijiro tells her, smiling as (Y/n) smiles to herself at the knowledge that Izuku's twin daughters and son will be there, "So you won't be on your own,"
"Now, before we go," Katsuki says, heading into the hallway to get a makeup bag from his bedroom, "Let's sort you out with some —"
"No!"
Immediately realising that her father was planning on putting makeup on her, she pushes her mother out the way and races downstairs. Eijiro curses under his breath as he looks to Katsuki who looks back, the pair of them communicating mentally before nodding and racing down the stairs after their daughter. Katsuki growls to himself as he gets downstairs and finds no remnants of his daughter in the living room.
"You know she hates makeup," Eijiro groans, looking around downstairs as he checks the dining room and underneath the table, "Why did you say anything?"
"It's just a bit of eyeliner, I wasn't gonna give her a full face of foundation," Katsuki grumbles, heading out into the garden and looking up at the treehouse with a small hum, "Oi! Get your ass down here!"
"No! You're gonna put makeup on me!" (Y/n) yells back, crossing her arms over her chest as she snuggles into her beanbag chair, "I don't want to wear makeup! It sucks!"
"Well mama and I wear it," Katsuki calls up the ladder, waiting for his daughter to come down so he can catch her, "I was only going to put eyeliner on, mama's wearing some. You can match,"
"Dad! I'm not five anymore!" (Y/n) barks, throwing a pillow down at her father with her teeth grinding together as she looks down the balcony of her treehouse, "I don't want to wear makeup! Okay! If I have to wear it, I'm not going!"
"Honey, why don't we just do the eyeliner?" Eijiro calls up, throwing the pillow back up for her to catch as she makes grabby hands, "Come on, don't you wanna look pretty?"
"I'm pretty without makeup! Makeup doesn't make you beautiful, it just enhances," (Y/n) grumbles, shaking her head while Eijiro realises his mistake, "Anyway, you said beauty is natural! Why do I have to wear it if I don't want to?"
"You're right, you don't have to wear makeup," Eijiro says rubbing his temple as he takes a deep breath and looks up, "Look, your dad was wrong to go and put makeup on you without asking you. If you come down, we'll go and you don't have go wear it... and we'll get you takeout tomorrow? Yeah?"
"You promise?" (Y/n) asks carefully, narrowing her eyes as she looks at her parents. Eijiro sends Katsuki a look making the blonde nod, "I don't have to wear it?"
"No you don't, we're sorry for trying to put it on you, now let's go,"...
"Fine, you better get me that food,"...
"We will, honey,"...

Makeup is always a very risky topic when Tenya is concerned. He's not against it, he doesn't hate it or anything. He's just not very fond of it, he doesn't really like the society he's in where 'if you wear makeup, you're much more prettier than if you're natural'. It's not that hates that sort of thing but he doesn't want his daughter to think that she has to wear makeup to feel beautiful. His daughter is beautiful the way she is, if she wants to wear it then he'll fully support her but...
He doesn't want her to think that she has to wear it to attract people to her. His daughter is so beautiful and so gorgeous that he doesn't know what he'd do if she got really self conscious because she doesn't wear makeup... he just hopes she's a lot like her mother. Ochaco doesn't wear a lot of makeup (mainly because she couldn't afford it at that time in her life) and she managed to attract Tenya. However, she does keep it natural when she does and that's what Tenya loves about her.
Tenya is just very traditional like that.
So, believe his surprise, when he walks into the living room to find his daughter sitting on the couch with Ochaco doing her makeup. The blue haired male arches a brow as he walks closer to have a better look at what his wife is actually doing to his daughters face. The little girl smiling to herself as she allows her mother to blend the foundation into her skin with a small hum. Ochaco giggling as she looks toward her husband.
Silently intrigued, Tenya sits down on the armchair and watches them with a soft smile. The male watching as Ochaco slowly grabs the pink eyeshadow and the white eyeliner to begin her work. The brunette humming a soft tune as episodes of Friends plays in the background, (Y/n) mumbles the words every now and then as she waits patiently.
(Y/n) has always been more than happy for her mother to do her makeup. I mean, she can do it herself, Ochaco has taught her how to do her eyeshadow and her eyeliner. She's been taught how to blend in her foundations and contour her face and give her a natural glow. However, there's just something about letting her mother do her makeup that makes the fourteen year old girl bubble with happiness. Maybe it's so Ochaco and her could bond a little bit more and gossip.
"What's this for?" Tenya asks, tilting his head as he watches his wife gently begin to trace out her little design she has in store for her daughter, "How come you're doing this?"
"Remember when I told you I have to go to Mina's five year old daughters birthday party at the weekend?" Ochaco begins, looking toward her husband who nods as the memory finally strikes his mind, "Well, I've been told that I also have to have a go at face paint and stuff. So we brainstormed a couple of ideas and now we're trying them out,"
"Interesting," Tenya hums, smiling to himself as he watches his wife as she finishes sketching out the shape of the things and takes a deep breath, "So what's this design?"
Without uttering a word, Ochaco slides the sketch toward her husband. The glasses clad male smiles to himself as he assesses the design before humming in approval. Not too shabby. He appreciates the simplicity of the design, it's nothing too daring. He actually loves the design. It's got soft colours that represent and reflect Ochaco's kind personality and it's not too flashy.
His eyes flit back to his daughter who's sitting happily and patiently in front of her mother, the girl smiling to herself. Tenya could practically feel the happiness radiating off his daughter.
"This would be great on a shirt or a dress... for like merchandise," Tenya begins, smiling as he looks toward the design on his daughters face, "It looks great, Chaco,"
"You think so? I had YaoMomo help us create it too," Ochaco hums with a bright smile, giggling as she kisses her daughters nose. The girl sitting incredibly still as she lets her mother continue on with her design, "I think it's cute,"
"It is," Tenya hums, kissing her cheek before admiring her handiwork. The brunette finally finishing shading in her design with a small hum, giggling when her daughter flutters her eyes open and giggles her way, "That's adorable,"
"You think so?" Ochaco asks, looking toward her husband who nods and kisses her cheek before grabbing one of the handheld mirrors nearby, "What do you think, Angel?"
Taking the mirror from her father, (Y/n) looks at her reflection and smiles to herself. A faint giggle leaving her lips as she sees the soft pastel pink mini plants and stars across her nose and cheeks. The girl couldn't help but smile as she looks at her mother and nod happily.
"I love it! It's so good, mom,"...
"Really?! That's great! I've still god a bone of creativity in my body!"...
"We should celebrate with chocolate pudding!"...

Shoto hums softly as he fiddles with the hem of his shirt, the male puffing his cheeks out in utter boredom as he stares at the tv. A small sigh leaves his lips as he leans back into the armchair and watches one of the movies that he loves to watch, despite the fact that Katsuki and Izuku hate it and thinks it shouldn't have even existed. The dual quirked male had been trying to think of a way to cheer up his little girl for the past few hours, thinking about what he could do to make her smile again...
Recently, at school, (Y/n) hasn't been having the best time. With the talk of high school the hot topic, everyone has been excited about going to U.A. Everyone has been telling each other about how strong they'll be and how amazing they'll be as a hero. Some of them have already started training while others are working on trying to ace the entrance exam. The excitement about going to a prestigious hero school was evident in the air. Everyone was bigging everyone up... well...
Until the teacher decided to tell the class that (Y/n) wanted to go to U.A. and the class went ballistic...
So, to try and deter the girl from going, they've been quite horrible. They've written 'Quirkless Nobody' in big red letters on her locker. Someone's told her to hope for a quirk in their next life (which Katsuki went ape shit over and sued the kid for everything he had). Someone's even tried to use their quirk against her to make her see how weak she is (Shoto went apeshit and sued too).
It's gotten to the point where (Y/n) can't even step foot out of the house without breaking down. She doesn't want to even see her best friend because everything is just too hard for her.
So she's been homeschooled for the last couple of days...
So the three parents have been trying to cheer her up, make her smile again because she hasn't smiled for days. Izuku had made her katsudon, that didn't change anything. She picked at it and then walked off after ten minutes. Katsuki bought her new acrylics, she loved them but she didn't smile. They just couldn't figure out what they could do to make her happy...
Resorting to his last resort, Shoto pulls his phone out and pulls up his mother's contact. He takes a deep breath and decides to text her. Hoping and praying that she gets the text as soon as possible and replies even quicker.
Hey Ma, what did you use to do
with Fuyumi whenever she felt
upset?...
Sent, 18:58
With Fuyumi? We'd bake cakes,
we'd play dress up. Sometimes
I'd do her make up. Why?
Sent, 19:00
Just (Y/n) isn't feeling good right
now. I want to make her better

You'll know what to do honey,
she's your little girl. So do what
comes naturally. You're a great
father Shoto, you'll know what to do

Thanks mom

Trusting his gut, Shoto takes a deep breath and grabs the makeup bag that belongs to his daughter. The male smiling to himself as he walks toward his daughters bedroom. His mother always gave him the best advice. Baking didn't work with Katsuki. She isn't really fond of dressing up, her anxiety doesn't allow her to do that plus she is a bit too old to play dress up. However, they didn't try makeup.
As his daughter has gotten older, she's been more interested in makeup. She watches videos on her social media, she admires her grandmothers work whenever she visits the designer studio with her mama. She's even done a couple of designs on her grandmother after she sketched a couple of her own designs. It reminds her of painting and allows her to release her artistic skills in another way.
As he arrives to her door, he takes a deep breath and gently knocks on the door. Once given the green light to go in, he slides into the room and shuts the door behind him. The male finds his daughter curled up in bed with an array of sweet treats surrounding her as she watches one of her comfort movies. Emperors New Groove playing on the television as she snuggles into Snowball who's fast asleep with a bone in his mouth.
"Hey dad," (Y/n) hums, looking up at him for a split second before clearing her throat and staring back at the tv, "What do you need?"
"Well, I was wondering if I could try something," Shoto begins, sitting beside her on the side without the dog before pulling her close, "Could I do your makeup? Just for fun?"
"Sure, if you want," (Y/n) hums, sitting up properly and turning on her nightstand lamp with a sigh. The light showing her heavy eye bags and bloodshot eyes, her nose sniffling as she gets comfy, "How was your day, dad?"
"It was good..." Shoto begins slowly, his heart breaking at the sight of his daughters sadness before grabbing the foundation and beginning to work it over her skin with a brush, "Your mama and I managed to win those court cases, those two kids aren't allowed to apply for any hero course for three years,"
"You really didn't have to do that," (Y/n) says softly, taking a deep breath while Shoto sends her look that she can't see as her eyes as shut, "There's no point me going to U.A anyway... I'll be the only quirkless kid,"
"Honey, don't let them beat you down because of their jealousy," Shoto hums, smiling weakly as she opens her eyes and gives him a look of disbelief. What is there to be jealous about? She's quirkless, everyone doesn't want to be quirkless, "Your papa was quirkless, then Grandpa All Might gave him his quirk,"
"But papa can't give me his quirk," (Y/n) says simply, watching as Shoto gently contours her face, "I'm gonna be quirkless forever, dad..."
"You'll still get into U.A. I know you will," Shoto tells her, kissing her nose before grabbing eyeliner and eyeshadow to begin his little surprise design, "You don't have to have a quirk to be successful,"
"Dad, literally all the successful people have quirks, there —"
"Sweetie, look at me," Shoto hums, shading in the design as she looks at him with a small sigh, "Don't let people like that knock you down, you're beautiful and you're strong and you're my daughter. You're not just anyone, you're a Todoroki, you're a Bakugo and you're a Midoriya. No matter what, your mom, your papa and I will be behind you no matter what and we will face whatever we need to to make you happy. You're our baby girl, you're our gift from the world and we will never let you go, okay? You're quirkless, yes but that doesn't change anything. You're still going to be successful, I know it,"
"Really?" (Y/n) asks, her voice cracking as she sniffles, "You think so?"
"I know so, plus you have Grandpa Enji who doesn't let anyone get away with anything so he'll kick their ass if we can't," Shoto says, poking her nose while he scrunches his before smiling as he pulls away to check the design, "Now go check the mirror, I've finished,"
Nodding softly, (Y/n) looks in the mirror and gasps at the design. Her eyes widening as she admires it with tears springing to them. Across her cheeks, matching her nickname, are snowflakes designed with her parents hero costumes. Three with a black background and orange across it. Three that were green matching her papa. Three matching her father that were red and blue. A faint smile on her lips as there's three on her forehead in their signature white colour.
"What do you think?" Shoto asks, hugging her close as she smiles and snuggles into him, "Like it?"
"I love it!" (Y/n) squeals, wrapping her arms around him tightly and kissing his cheek, giggling as she admires the snowflakes. Her mood brightening, "I really like it,"
"Perfect, and I also thought, that maybe, you could start self defence with us, to help you,"...
"Self defence?"...
"Your parents and I have an idea that I think you'll like,"...
