A loud grating sound fills the room, and you look up as metal panelling slams down over each of the windows.

"What the...!"

"Seriously?! Someone snuck a bomb here?" Kaminari says.

"My phone has no signal. It looks like all reports are being blocked." Todoroki stays planted directly next to you as he checks his phone.

"Mine too..." You say. "It was going through just a minute ago."

"Seriously?" Mineta shivers.

Jiro tries getting the elevator to react, but nothing happens. "The elevator isn't responding either."

"Seriously?!" Mineta whips his head towards her as he repeats himself.

"I can't believe the security system would switch to high alert mode just because they found something explosive." Melissa says.

"Maybe it's a big bomb and they're trying to keep the public from panicking too much?" You wonder.

"Iida, I think we should all go to where the party is being held." Midoriya says.

"Why?"

"Because All Might is at the party."

"He is?" Uraraka asks.

"Oh, then we have nothing to worry about." Mineta sighs.

Midoriya turns to Melissa. "Melissa, can you get us to the party somehow?"

"If we use the emergency stairs, I think we can get close to the party." She points to a set of doors in the corner of the lobby.

"Please lead the way!" Midoriya tells her.

All of you hurry through the building and come to the large room above the party hall. There's a giant skylight between the two floors, and you peer down.

"All Might...! He's restrained!" You gasp.

"But that's the security system!" Melissa says.

"Something isn't right here." Iida turns to Midoriya. "What should we do?"

Midoriya peers over the rail beside you, and grabs his phone from his pocket. He begins flashing his flashlight on and off, and All Might looks up.

"He's noticed us!" Midoriya says. "Jiro, can you do it?"

Jiro nods and plugs her ear jack into the ground. "Got it."

Midoriya gestures for All Might to talk, and he understands.

"Can you hear me? Villains have taken over the tower. They have control of the security system, and everyone on this island is a hostage. All of the heroes have been captured as well. It's dangerous. Get away from here as soon as possible." Jiro hears All Might say, and you all wait to hear her repeat it.

"This is really bad, Midoriya." Jiro says. She tells you all what All Might said, and you all stand in shocked silence.

"Let's move out of view." You say. Everyone follows you to the stairwell, with Todoroki refusing to leave your side.

"We have recieved All Might's message. I suggest that we follow the directions of UA teacher and pro hero All Might and escape from this place." Iida says.

"I agree with Iida's opinion." Momo says. "We are still students. We can't fight against villains without our hero licenses."

As she says it, you share uneasy glances with Midoriya and Todoroki.

"Then what if we escape and tell heroes outside–"

Melissa shakes her head at Kaminari. "I think it would be hard to escape. This place is built with the same level of security as Tartarus, where criminal villains are kept."

"Then, all we can do is wait until help comes...?" Kaminari sighs and looks at the ground.

"If only I had my helmet... I wonder if that would still connect..." You sigh.

Jiro stands up. "Kaminari, are you okay with that?"

"What do you mean?"

"You don't feel like we should go help?"

Mineta stares at her in shock. "Hey, come on! The villains even caught All Might! There's no way we can go save them ourselves!"

"But that's because they surprised him and have hostages. They didn't give him a chance to react." You say.

"We are trying to become heroes." Todoroki agrees with you.

"Yes, but we are still not allowed to work as heroes–" Momo turns towards the two of you.

"Does that mean it's alright for us to not do anything?" Todoroki says. You can't help but admire how serious he is at this moment, and you can tell he's thinking of Hosu just like you.

"T-that's..." Momo trails off, and everyone sits in silence for a moment, contemplating what to do.

"I want to save them." Midoriya whispers.

"Deku?" Uraraka says as you all turn towards the boy.

"I want to save them." He stands up, speaking clearly now.

"Me too." You say.

"You're planning on fighting the villains?! Didn't you two learn anything from USJ?!" Oh, Mineta. If only you knew what happened in Hosu. You'd piss yourself.

"It's not like that." Midoriya says. "I've thought about it. We need a way we can save All Might and the others without outright fighting the villains."

"If we can do that... And free the heroes... Then they'll be able to take the villains down themselves." You say. Todoroki nods.

"I understand how you guys feel, but is there anything that convenient?" Kaminari asks.

"Even if it's hard I still want to try! I want to look for the best way possible and then go save everyone!"

"Deku..."

"I-Island's security system is on the top floor of this tower. If the villains have taken control of the system then the authentication locks and passwords should have been disabled. We should be able to restart the system. We just need to get away from the eyes of the villains and get to the top floor. Then, maybe we can save everyone." Melissa says.

"Melissa..."

"What do you mean by get away from the eyes of the villains? How?" Jiro asks her.

"Currently, none of us have actually been harmed. I think the villains aren't used to working with the security system."

"Avoid fighting and get the system back to normal, huh? I see..." Todoroki gives you an uncertain look. You give him a reassuring smile back.

"We could do it, don't you think?" Kaminari says.

"Definitely!"

"Yeah!"

"But the villains are waiting on the top floor." Momo says.

"There's no need to fight. If we get the system back to normal then All Might and the other heroes will be released, just like Y/n said. When that happens, the tables will be turned in an instant!" Midoriya reassures her.

"If they're free, we'll just have to hold on until they arrive to help." You say.

"Let's do it!" Uraraka says. "I don't want to sit around doing nothing if there's something we can do. I think that's more important than whether we're heroes or not."

"Yeah, let's help the people who need help!" Midoriya says. "Let's do what our instincts are telling us to do."

"We're going, too." You say. Todoroki nods.

"Me too!"

"You guys!"

"I'll turn us back if I decide we cannot do anymore. If you're okay with that, then I will go, too!" Iida says.

Everyone rallies together and agrees to go, even Melissa. "I'm the only one who can change the security system settings. It doesn't matter if I'm quirkless, I'm a student at the academy here. I know I can be useful. I might just get in the way until we get to the top floor, but let me help protect everyone, too. Please!"

"Alright... It's settled then. Let's go and save everyone!"

"Right!"
