The two of you chat while walking in the direction Kai pointed you in. Ahead of you is a giant rocky zone in the center of a grassy park. When you get inside through a tunnel, there is a red path to a large green circular platform. Surrounding it is water. On the platform is a young woman who seems to be leading the event.

"I wonder if there are any scouts in the stands." You say to Todoroki.

"Some heroes, maybe. Most are probably too busy to be watching this, though."

"Hm, you're right..."

A staff member comes up to you as you chat.  

"Would you two like to participate?" She asks.

"Yes please!" You say. 

After giving her your information, she sends you out first. You give Todoroki a grin as you head to the platform to begin.  

"Now, Villain Attack! Ready... Go!!"

As soon as she says go, you use water to blast yourself towards the first robot. Activating your new bat, you slam it down into the top of it, and your helmet immediately pings the next. They're easier to beat than the ones at school, so you have no issues handling them. Thanks to the giant waterfall and pool of water you easily create a wave to wash all but one of them away. With the last robot in sight, you send a barrage of icicles its way, and it explodes with a cloud of dust and ice shards.

"Wow!! What a show! Izumi Y/n washed the rest of the competition away and takes third place with seventeen seconds!"

"Wait, Y/n?!" You hear familiar voices shout.

Up in the stands are a few of your friends, and they begin waving at you. You wave back and head over to where they're watching.

"Good job scoring third place!!" Kirishima tells you.

"Did you guys already do it?" You ask.

"Ha! I got first place, didn't you see?" Bakugou flaunts.

"I'm not surprised, Bakugou." You smile.

Bakugou seems caught off guard by your compliment, and mutters a quick, "Obviously," in response.

"Midoriya came in a close second!" Iida tells you. "His quirk has improved a lot."

"Awesome!! I wish I was as quick-"

A chill fills the air as a large blast of ice covers the hill and arena.

"Wow, wow, wow! What the heck?! Fourteen seconds!!"

Everyone else turns towards the arena again and recognizes the blast of ice without even seeing who created it. You smile, already knowing it was Todoroki.

"Todoroki?!" Midoriya yells.

Todoroki looks up, and you give him a huge smile and a thumbs up as he makes eye contact with you. 

"He's jumped to the top!!"

"He's in your class, too?" A blonde girl asks. 

"Yes." Momo tells her.

"You're all amazing! As expected of future heroes!" The blonde girl adjusts her glasses.

Momo, Uraraka, and Jirou begin to blush from her compliment.

"Oh you don't have to say that!"

"Great job, Shoto!!!!" You yell. "Jeez, how do you make so much ice so fast?!"

"S-Shoto?!" Your classmates gape at what you just referred to Todoroki as.

"Wait, Y/n... Did you two come together?!" Kirishima asks you.

"Oh! Yeah, his father got me a ticket-"

Before you can even finish speaking, Bakugou has heard enough. He blasts over the rail, above you, and into the stage. 

"Half and Half, you bastard!!!"

Todoroki simply replies with "Bakugou" as the blond slams down onto the platform beside him. His straight face doesn't falter for even a moment as Bakugou continues yelling at him.

"What the hell are you doing here, appearing suddenly trying to make everyone think you're amazing, you bastard?!! And what does Y/n mean your dad got her a ticket?!!!"

"Exactly what she said."

"Don't give me that crap! Why are you here anyways?! Why the hell is she calling you by your first name?!!"

"I'm here representing my father. He arranged for Y/n to get a ticket to come with me."

"Um... The next person is waiting..." The poor woman looks like she'd rather be anywhere than where she is, and you jog over to the two boys.

Bakugou whips his head around to face her and yells, "Shut up! I'm going next!"

"Bakugou! Don't be so rude!" You scold the boy and begin apologizing profusely to the staff member.

"Bakugou, stop that!" Iida races towards you and the two boys. "Everyone, help me! UA's embarrassing secrets will be exposed to the world!"

"Who the hell are you calling embarrassing?!"

Kirishima and Midoriya jump the rail and do their best to help get Bakugou off of the stage.

"Kacchan, calm down!"

"Try to understand here, Bakugou!" Kirishima has to physically wrap an arm around the raging blond, and Midoriya helps Kirishima drag him away.

"What the hell is wrong with you guys?! Let me go! I'll burn you up!!"

"Come on, Bakugou! This is being recorded!!" You whisper-shout at him. "You're on giant screens screaming!"

"You think I give a-"

Kirishima clamps a hand over Bakugou's mouth before he can say one of his favourite words, and you help the two boys push him out.

Behind you, Iida is furiously bowing and apologizing for Bakugou's behaviour, and Todoroki quietly follows you.

After exploring with the others for a few more hours, the sun begins to set and you check the time.

"Oh! Shoto, we better head back to the hotel, or I won't have enough time to steam our clothes." You say.

"Right."

"Say, Y/n, Todoroki, we've all been wondering, since when were you two so close? Not in a bad way or anything!" Kirishima says. "Just kind of out of the blue."

The others all nod their heads, except for the blonde girl you now know as Melissa.

"Oh, well... I guess Endeavor didn't want Shoto representing him alone, so he arranged for me to come along, too. He even paid for an outfit for me to wear tonight...!"

"Seriously?!" Your friends gape. "Todoroki, is this true?!"

He nods. "He wants her to intern with him next. I believe it's because her quirk is similar to mine."

"Y/n did do incredible in the Sports Festival... Then with Hosu..." Midoriya trails off as Iida glares daggers at him. "It's only natural he'd take interest in one of our top students."

"Thank you, Midoriya!" You smile. "We really should get back to our room though if we want to be ready in time. I need to shower, too."

Everyone stares at you blankly. "Y/n... Did you just say... Room?" Jiro asks.

Realizing what it sounded like, you begin to shake your head as Bakugou's nearly explodes.

"No, no, no! I meant rooms! Endeavor booked a suite, so we each have our own rooms, they're just connected-"

"What the hell?!" Bakugou says. Kirishima smacks him on the back of his head.

"Dude, relax. There are kids around."

Your group spends a few more minutes talking (or bitching, in Bakugou's case), and then you and Todoroki separate from the rest to go get ready.
