The day goes by, and after painfully normal classes in the morning and joking with Shinsou all through lunch, it's finally time for your afternoon class, Foundational Heroics Studies.

You sit impatiently in your seat playing with your pen as you wait for class to begin. Just as you turn to speak with Kirishima, the door bursts open.

"I have...! Come through the door like a normal person!!!" You jump at All Might's sudden appearance and drop your pen.

"Wow...! I can't believe All Might is actually our teacher!!" Mina exclaims. As you reach for your pen, Kirishima picks it up and smiles as he hands it to you. You smile and fail to notice his face go pink as you brush his hand while taking it from him.

"Foundational heroics studies! This is the class that will help mold you into wonderful young heroes through all kinds of training! You'll also get tons of credit for it! Now, there's no time to waste! Today's task is... Battle training!! And for that you'll need..." All Might clicks a button on a little remote and shelves with numbered cases begin to slide out. "...These!"

"Yes!! Costumes!!" Kirishima cheers.

The room fills with excitement and you can't help but worry about how yours will look compared to everyone else's.

"Once you've all changed, meet me at Ground Beta!"

"Okay!!"

With that, everyone crowds the shelves to grab their costumes and run to the change rooms.

A few minutes later...

Here's a quick drawing and explanation I did for the costume. I didn't make it very detailed or spend much time on it bc I didn't want to waste time plus my tablet broke so I had to use my phone and finger. The helmet and the red are meant to pay tribute to Water Horse.

"Wow, Y/n! Cool costume!" Kaminari gives you a thumbs up and you smile back.

"Thanks! Yours is pretty cool, too!"

"Alright, I think that's everyone then! I'm liking everyone's style! Let's see what you kids are made of!"

"Sir, as we are using the same grounds as the entrance exam, is this going to be similar?" Iida asks.

"Not at all! This will be an indoor battle trial! Villain cleanup is usually seen out in the open, but statistically, the more common is an indoor job. The majority of villainous acts are committed indoors. Imprisonment... House arrest... The Black Market... In this hero filled society, why any villain with even a little intelligence is working in the shadows!! For this test, you'll separate into 'villain' and 'hero' groups for a two on two team battle!! This time, there won't be any robots it'd be okay to just destroy!" All Might explains.

"But sir, there's 21 students. How will the remaining student be organized?" Iida interrupts.

"They can join a group after-"

"Are we not getting basic training?" The frog girl asks.

"So how do we determine who wins and loses?" (Yaoyorozu)

"Is it okay to just blow them away?" (Bakugou)

"Is there a threat of expulsion like yesterday's exercise...?" (Uraraka)

"If we're separating into different groups, what would be the best way to do so?" (Iida)

"Doesn't this cape look killer on me?" Sparkly boy flutters his cape around. Edna is screaming somewhere in the distance...

"One at a time! My quirk isn't super hearing you know! Anyways, here's what's going to happen. The villains have a nuclear weapon in their hideout. The heroes have to go in and capture the villains or secure the weapon within fifteen minutes. The villains have to either capture the heroes or protect the weapon until time's up." All Might reads from some cards. He reaches behind him and picks up a box. "The teams will be decided by drawing lots!"

"Is this really the best approach?" Iida questions.

"It's just like when pros get teamed up with other pros that they don't know well in battles!" Midoriya tells him.

"I suppose."

"Let's get on with it!" All Might holds the box out and everyone takes one. Well, except for you. By the time you reach it, everyone else is partnered up.

"Ah, young Y/n. We'll just have you draw for a team to join!" Placing one of each team back in the box, All Might calls you forward.

You reach your hand into the box and draw J. "Oh! Looks like I'm with you, Kirishima and Sero!"

"Sweet!" The two boys smile as you walk over to join them.

"Moving on, these two are the first up!" All Might dramatically pulls two teams out of a box named 'Hero' and 'Villain' respectively.

"Midoriya and Uraraka will be the heroes with Bakugou and Iida as the villains!" He says. "The villain team goes in first, and after five minutes the hero team will sneak in. Bakugou, Iida, you two will need to adopt the mindset of a villain for this exercise. It's practical training, so don't hold back. However, I will step in if things get out of hand."

"Tch, yeah whatever." Bakugou and Iida step into the building to prepare while the rest of you head into the basement to watch over the surveillance system.

"Bakugou and Midoriya don't get along much do they?" You say to Kirishima.

"Yeah they seem to have a pretty rocky relationship. Hopefully the two of them don't try to kill each other today..." He replies.

Soon, Midoriya and Uraraka sneak in through a window. You look to another screen and see Bakugou leaving Iida by himself. The two seem to be arguing, but you can't hear anything. Bakugou finds the two and gets close to them before launching an explosion at the two while jumping from around a corner. The two manage to get out of the way in time, but half of Midoriya's mask is burned off.

"That's so not manly, Bakugou!!" Kirishima says.

"Did you see how cool that dodge was?!" Mina exclaims.

All Might turns to Kirishima. "It may not be the most honorable, but it's definitely smart."

"Yeah I guess so..."

"Woah!!" You stare in shock as Midoriya throws Bakugou to the ground over his shoulder.

The two begin to speak, and Uraraka takes this time to run off. Soon after, Midoriya takes off in another direction with Bakugou hot on his trail. When Bakugou ran off to deal with Midoriya, Iida was left alone with the weapon. He clears all of the things in the room, and soon after Uraraka finds him. Seeing how serious he is about playing the villain, she laughs and gives herself away. On the floor below, Bakugou finds Midoriya. Using the grenades on his arms, he launches an insane amout of power at him. The building shakes, and from the cameras you see that a side of the building is in ruins. The windows in the neighboring buildings shatter, and you can't help but shudder.

"I thought this was just practice!!" Kirishima shouts.

"He's trying to kill him!" Mina yells.

"Shouldn't you stop the match?! You have to lose marks for that, right? I don't care if they're playing as villains! A real aspiring hero wouldn't risk someone's life like that, especially in a simple practice exercise!!" You say.

The smoke clears and everyone anxiously waits to see if Midoriya is alright. "Seriously teach, he's out for blood! You have to stop the match!" Kirishima tells All Might.

"Not yet," He turn to the screen. "Bakugou, if you try using that move again I will forcibly end the match and your team will lose. Using such a violent and chaotic attack like that indoors is foolish. Whether or not you're a hero or villain destroying your stronghold is a very bad move and a great way to lose points!"

Meanwhile Uraraka is taking advantage of the distraction. She attempts to catch the weapon, but Iida moves it just in time. Back downstairs, Bakugou continues to go after Midoriya. Using his explosions, he maneuvers around his and blasts him from behind.

"He used the first explosion to both feint and change his own track. Then, he followed up immediately with another..." Todoroki says.

"He may not look like a thinker at first, but that strategy was fairly intricate." Yaoyorozu says.

Kaminari looks at you. "Damn, this guy's good..." You nod your head in agreement.

Bakugou continues to throw Midoriya around like a doll and you get fed up. "This is basically torture! He's already out powered him! He should have used the capture tape already!" You yell.

"How did someone like him get into the hero course...?!"

"I thought Midoriya was good, but Bakugou's battle sense just can't be beat..."

"Ah! He's running!" Mina exclaims.

"Not very manly, but it looks like he doesn't have much of a choice. It's odd..." Kirishima trails off.

"Why hasn't Midoriya used his quirk yet" You ask.

Sero sighs. "No clue. Bakugou sure is confident, huh?"

"Hopefully someone knocks him off his high horse soon before he gets himself into trouble..." You reply. Just then, the two go to punch each other. Bakugou's hand lights up, and Midoriya's arm glows with an intense power.

"This looks really bad!!" Kirishima turns to All Might once more.

"All Might! You have to stop them!" You plead.

"Alright you two! That's eno-" Midoriya shouts something that stops All Might from ending the match.

A huge explosion goes off above everyone as Bakugou's explosion hits Midoriya, and Midoriya blasts the ceiling above. This causes the floor where Uraraka and Iida are to suddenly have a gaping hole in it, and using a pillar, Uraraka smashes the rubble at Iida. She then flies at the weapon and captures it.

Everyone is left standing in shock after what just happened. Even All Might takes a moment before saying, "The... The hero team... Wins!!"

"Oh my god! Look at Midoriya's injuries!!" You gasp.

"He collapsed!!" Kirishima shouts.

"Bakugou is insane!!" Kaminari yells.

"The losing team is nearly unscathed while the winning team is down for the count..." Tokoyami says as Uraraka falls to her knees puking. "They may have lost the battle, but they won the war."

"I thought this was supposed to just be a training exercise?!"

The room erupts into conversation as All Might heads up to check on everyone. You all make your way to the new building, and go to the surveillance room like before. "That was insane!!" Sero says.

Once All Might brings back the conscious three, he asks why Iida was the MVP of the match. Yaoyorozu explains that Bakugou and Midoriya were too reckless and caused too much damage. Uraraka got distracted, and her attack would be unthinkable if the weapon were real. Iida, however, got into the proper mindset immediately. He came up with a plan, and his only fault was reacting a bit slow at the end.

All Might thanks her and before the next teams are drawn, you walk over to Iida. "Hey Iida, you did great! You looked super cool!"

Iida' s face goes pink and he smiles brightly. "Thank you, Y/n! I look forward to seeing your match!"

You smile back at him and thank him before walking back over to Kirishima and Sero. "Alright, next up is... Team B as the heroes versus Team I as the villains!" All Might says.

You give Todoroki a little thumbs up and tell him good luck as he walks by. He gives you a small smile in return.

The fight doesn't last very long. Todoroki freezes the entire building before Ojiro and Tooru even have a chance to fight back. Since both of them are barefoot and rely on physical attacks, they can only watch as he claims the weapon.

"Wow! So cool!" You cheer. "Ah! But now I can't do anything like that or it'll look like I copied him...!"

After Todoroki melts the ice and heads back down, you give him a smile. The next few groups go until it is finally your turn.

"Team H will be the heroes, and Team J will be the villains!" All Might tells you.

"Alright!! Are you boys ready to embrace the dark side and win this thing?" You turn to Kirishima and Sero.

"Let's do this!"

oof sorry guys a lot of this is mainly just repeat of what happens in the series I promise the next chapter will have some more action. also, I'm probably going to have to switch to updating every other day or two with my course starting. I couldn't get as much written this weekend as I hoped so I can't say how much longer I'll be updating daily

I didn't spend as much time on it as I could have so it's not very thought out. I had a three on the helmet to symbolize being the third Water Horse member sort of thing but I didn't add it the the coloured version
