It doesn't take long for Aizawa to wave for you to jump into the water. You simply fall backwards into the artificial lake, uncaring if the boat tips over or not. It does, and you end up a few meters from it as the waves push it away. It's nice being under the water for a few quiet moments, but you have to surface to pretend to start drowning.

Swimming upward, you tread water as you break the top, opening your visor to shout, “Help! I'm drowning!” Once you signal the exercise has begun, you close your visor once more, and Momo and Kaminari quickly rush to the row boat waiting for them. Momo makes something and sticks it to the back of the row boat as Kaminari pushes it into the water. They both quickly hop in, and once Kaminari touches the device, the boat shoots forward.

As they approach, you can tell it's a large fan with an electric motor. “Hey! We're here to help!” Kaminari shouts as they roar forward.

“Time to cut the power!” Momo tells him, and they come to a halt a few meters away. She wastes no time in tossing a life ring to you, shouting for you to catch it.

Her aim is perfect, and the ring lands right beside you, splashing some water against your visor. It's a good thing you closed it again. Wrapping your arm around it, your two classmates begin to tug you towards them with the attached rope. It feels a bit odd getting dragged through the water without swimming or using your quirk, so you kick your feet a little to try to help.

“Are you okay? Did you swallow any water?” Kaminari asks, reaching for you, your head completely encased in your helmet attached to your oxygen tank if you need it.

Taking his hand in yours, you pretend to cough as he and Momo hoist you in. “Yes, I swallowed a lot of water. I'll need medical attention soon.” You say, remembering the lines Aizawa gave you.

“Here, I'll dry you off and warm you up while Kaminari steers us back.” Momo says, wrapping a large warm towel around your shoulders.

“Woah, that's toasty!” You sigh contently, snuggling into the towel.

“I made it while we were heading towards you, as well as hand warmers. I had them resting on the towel. Here, see if they help.” She hands you two hand warmers, and despite being able to keep yourself warm by changing the temperature of the water soaking you, it feels wonderful. Maybe school isn't so bad sometimes.

It doesn't take long for Kaminari to bring the boat back to shore, and Momo steadies the rowboat. “Upsy daisy...” Kaminari says as he lifts you up, carrying you out of the boat with shocking ease.

“Oh...!” You gasp quietly, and Kaminari gives you a goofy grin as he sets you down in front of Thirteen on the cot.

“Not bad.” Aizawa nods, stopping his timer and writing the result down on his clipboard. “Next up are Ojiro and Koda. Y/n, get back out there.”

“Yessir...!” You say, standing up and giving Kaminari a quick high five. “Didn't think you'd be able to lift me so easily.”

Kaminari smiles at first, and then frowns. “Hey...!”

You can't help but chuckle as you walk over to the water and quickly freeze an ice board under your feet. Shooting forward, you release the board once you're far enough and dive into the water.

Swimming up, you repeat the process from before. Ojiro and Koda, along with Shoji and Hagakure after them, take a bit longer than the first team to arrive, but thanks to the boys' mutation quirks, they're able to row the boats much faster than a non-mutant could. Hagakure makes up for her lack of help in rowing by focusing on asking you if you're alright and making sure you're not frightened on the way back to shore.

Next, you're floating in the water, not looking forward to the icy chill you're expecting from Todoroki as he and Mina begin. To your surprise, instead of freezing the lake, the pair shove the row boat into the water, and Todoroki uses his flames to blast the boat forward.

“You okay? We heard you call for help!” Mina says as they reach you.

Todoroki freezes a patch of ice to step on to, and his hand reaches for yours. “I'll help you into the boat.”

“Thank you. I swallowed a lot of water, so I'll need medical attention soon.” Todoroki is careful to lift you from the water, pulling you onto the ice and into the boat with strong arms. Mina helps steady you as you sit down while Todoroki warms you with his quirk, and soon it's time to begin again. It's getting a bit repetitive at this point.

Jiro and Sero have no trouble reaching you. Jiro uses her sound blasts to push the rowboat forward, and Sero slings a life ring right to you that's attached to his tape. Once you grab it, he quickly reels you in, catching you in his arms with a cheeky grin. Jiro has to nudge him to put you down, but he responds even cheekier. “What, I'm making sure she's alright...!” He asks his questions before putting you down on the seat next to him. “Would you like me to warm you up? I don't want you catching hypothermia.” He chuckles with his arm out as he catches you shivering.

It's honestly a tempting option. You've been soaked for a while now, and it's Sero. That toothy grin is hard to say no to, and it's not like you even want to say no in the first place. “Yes, please.” You smile, leaning against his side. Jiro raises her eyebrow behind you as she brings the three of you back, and watches skeptically as Sero happily wraps his arm around your waist.

He sweeps you up into his arms when the rowboat reaches the shore, and your arms quickly wrap around his neck in surprise. “We need medical help! She swallowed a lot of water!” Tape shoots from Sero’s elbow, and he swings the two of you right to Thirteen. Gently, he sits you on the cot, his hand lingering on the back of your shoulder.

Sero catches a few grumpy looks from your male classmates, but it isn't like several of them haven't had a chance to play your hero already. He gives your back a gentle rub before you have to head back into the water for the next pair.
