“Now then... The last boy...” Mina rubs her hands together.

“...Is me.” Sato sighs. “My room’s kind of boring, honestly. We should have gone with Todoroki's last.”

“Any room would be boring after his.” Kirishima pats his shoulder.

Ojiro and you both smell something delicious at the same time. “Something sure smells good though. What is it?”

“Yeah, it smells amazing in here!” You agree with the blond.

“Oh no!! I was in such a rush that I forgot to finish this...” Sato rushes over to a small appliance and pulls a cake out. “I was baking a chiffon cake to share with everyone... I wanted to help cheer everyone up after the doozy we’ve had recently... It’d be better with frosting, but does anyone want some?”

Kaminari and Mineta look personally offended as you drool over the cake. “Yes please!!” You and the other girls practically tackle Sato for the cake, and his face goes red from the sudden burst of female attention.

“This level of cheating is so unexpected coming from you, Sato!!! No fair!!!!” Kaminari and Mineta shriek.

“Here, you can take an extra big piece, Y/n. You had a worse time than any of us.” Sato says as he hands you a slice.

Your eyes might as well be heart shaped with the look you’re giving the cake. “Don’t mind if I do!”

“Tastyyyy!!” Uraraka says. “It’s so light and fluffy!”

Mina quickly finishes her piece and licks the crumbs from her fingers. “This totally blows Sero’s surprise out of the water.”

“What a charming hobby you have, Sato! We’ll have to get together to combine your confections with my tea!!”

“I could eat this all night...! Sato, how much do I have to pay you to get you to make me sweets?” You ask, savouring every bite.

“I really wasn’t expecting this kind of reaction...” Sato blushes. “I only bake like this to help train my quirk... Store bought treats get really expensive...”

“Damn... I guess we should’ve expected something this tasty from someone called Sugarman...” Sero grumbles to Kirishima and Kaminari as they eat the cake.

“Talk about good timing, huh...” Kirishima agrees.

“Time for us girls now!!” Hagakure cheers.

“That sugar sure woke me up. I feel like I can stay up all night now!” Kaminari says.

“Let’s hope not.” You laugh. “You’ll be a grump in the morning then.”

“Will not!”

“Will too!”

“We’ll need to head all the way back downstairs to get to the girls’ wing.” Ojiro says.

“Back to the first floor we go...!” Mina cheers and leads the way.

Everyone makes their way to the girls’ third floor. “It’s nice that they didn’t cram you all into two floors.” Sero says.

“Sometimes I forget how few girls are in our class...” Ojiro says.

“Is this allowed...?” Midoriya asks him. “Going into the girls’ rooms?”

“It feels wrong...”

“The Forbidden Garden...”

You can’t help but laugh at Midoriya, Ojiro, and Tokoyami. “Of course it’s fine. We saw your rooms.” Swinging an arm around Ojiro and Tokoyami’s shoulders, you continue. “Aside from Mineta, you’re all trustworthy guys.”

“T-Thanks, Y/n...” Ojiro blushes and looks away from you. Tokoyami tenses up, and both boys are flustered with your arms around them.

“Which girl is first?” Kaminari asks.

“Me... This is embarrassing...” Jiro cracks her door open. Inside is an insane amount of instruments.

“Woah! It’s like a music store in here!” You exclaim. “Awesome, Jiro!”

“There’re even more instruments than I thought!!” Kaminari shouts.

“You’re seriously rockin’!” Hagakure says.

“Can you really play all of these?” Uraraka asks.

“Somewhat, yeah...”

“Ooo! A drum set! I used to play!” You pick up drumsticks in your mitts, and one slips out onto the floor. “Oops...”

“Really, Y/n? Huh, you’re not as girly as you seem...” Kaminari says.

“Huh? What’s that mean?” You ask.

“You skateboard, play the drums...”

“And I bet I do both better than you!” You toss the drumstick you just picked up at his head.

“On that note... There’s absolutely nothing girly about this room. Nope, none at all.” Kaminari says, rubbing his head.

“Non, mademoiselle!” Aoyama agrees.

Kaminari and Aoyama get hit with a double piercing headphone jack attack, and fall to the ground, much to your amusement. You pick up the drumstick again and set them back where you found them, then step over the two boys. “You totally asked for that.”

“It’s finally my turn!!” Hagakure jumps in excitement and hurries everyone over. “Ta-da!! Whatcha think?”

Everyone nods in agreement. “This is definitely a girly room.”

“Pretty exciting...! Exactly what you’d expect.” Kaminari says and Ojiro nods.

Next up is Mina’s room, and you start to feel anxious about showing everyone your own room, so you don’t pay much attention.

“Y/n! Let’s see it!” Kirishima says. The boys in your class, even the ones who had been uninterested until now, all stare at your door more intently than the girls looked at Todoroki’s.

“Right...” You put your hand on the knob, and it slips right off thanks to your mitts. “Ah...”

“I’ve got it.” Sero swings the door open and is the first to step inside. “Woah! Cool room, Y/n!”

Everyone piles in and you feel your face flush as they look around. “Are these your parents?” Midoriya asks, pointing to your family photo. You nod, and the others gather around to look.

“Oh my gosh, you and Kota were so cute! His face is so chubby!” Mina exclaims. “Your mom was super pretty, too!”

You smile. “Yeah, she really was.”

“Is that a Hawks plushie?” Hagakure snatches it off of your desk. “No way!!! They’re always sold out! Where’d you get it?”

“Oh, it was actually on my balcony waiting for me when I came up. Hawks left me a note saying he meant to give it to me when he dropped me off.” You then turn to Tokoyami. “By the way, we may be working together, Tokoyami! Hawks asked me to work with him once we get our provisional licenses.”

Tokoyami seems slightly irritated, and shakes his head. “Don’t bother. Go somewhere else. I was lumped with his sidekicks the entire internship.”

“My father would be displeased if you went to Hawks’ agency instead of his...” Todoroki says. “So I think you should go with Tokoyami.”

You laugh at his response and Kirishima sighs. “Damn, must be nice having the top two heroes fighting to hire you when we haven’t even started the second semester or gotten our provisional licenses yet...”

“That’s our Y/n for you! Crazy strong, smart, and charming!” Kaminari smiles.

“Why thank you!” You jokingly bow at your classmates. “Anyways, this is my room. Uraraka is up next!”

The room tours continue and end with Uraraka and Momo’s rooms since Tsuyu went to bed earlier, and everyone settles down in the common room once more. Mina passes around paper and pens, and everyone writes down their votes for the best room. You slip yours into the box, not even needing more than a second to think about it.

“Okayy... Has everyone finished voting? Remember, you can’t pick yourself!” Mina says. Everyone nods, and Mina dumps the box of votes on to the table to count. You try to read them, but she’s working too quickly. “With Bakugou and Tsuyu sitting this one out... The provisional first-ever King of the Dorms is...!!” She finishes counting and jumps back up. “Seven votes total! The student who crushed our expectations with its sweet originality is... Rikido Sato!!!”

“Huh?!!” Sato is more shocked than anyone.

You exchange looks with all of the girls and know exactly who else voted for him. Mina reads your mind and says, “By the way, every girl voted for you. The main reason... That super yummy cake!” The six of you drool over the memory of Sato’s delicious cake.

“What about the room?!” The guys yell. The girls all shrug, lost in thoughts of more cake.

“Sato, if you ever need anyone to taste test new treats, call me.” You grin, and he blushes with a nod.

“Even you, Y/n?! You were pissed off more than anyone that no one was actually swimming back during our competition!!” Kaminari shouts.

“That’s different.” A dazed smile crosses your face as you think back on the cake. “Man, that was good...”

“It’s exactly the same!!” Kaminari yells. He and Mineta turn to Sato and tackle him. “No decent wannabe hero bribes people!!”

You laugh as you watch the boys squabble, and exhaustion hits you. “Man, I’m super sleepy now...”

“Me, too. Are we done here? Can I go to bed now?” Todoroki asks Iida.

“No! You must brush your teeth first, especially after eating that cake! Villains aren’t the only things we must fight! Cavities, too!”

Iida makes you laugh, and you wave everyone a goodnight. “I’ll see you all in the morning.”

“Goodnight!”
