The light seemed to fill Michael's room and he uncovered himself with a smile before freezing and realizing he was still there.
"Oh God...I'm...still here?" He got out of the bed and went downstairs, making his way to the antique room and trying to open it.
Fail. He sighed and went to his parents' room, they weren't there. He went to the living room, no other Jeremy.
He left the house and began making his way far away from it, being surprisingly joined by the cat.
"Where are you going?" It asked and Michael hugged himself and shrugged. "You don't know?"
"No...I wanna leave... that's all I know."
"Well you aren't gonna leave this way." Michael looked up to see whiteness surrounding them.
"Shouldn't there be something here?"
"No. He only made the world you'd be interested in."
"But...why me?"
"I do not know how to answer that. Maybe he wants something to love that's not himself...or maybe he wants something to eat."
"Ew...Jeremy wouldn't...eat me...would he?"
"I don't know. Depends on your taste." The cat chuckled and Michael noticed the ground regaining color.
"Wha- how did we come back? We just left?"
"We walked around the world." The cat went to say something else but moved quickly, returning with a mouse in its mouth.
"Hey that's one of Shane's mice." It bit into the mouse and it became a rat, sand falling from its mouth
"Yes but it was sounding an alarm."
"Oh...good kitty." Michael looked back at the house and gulped. "I gotta get home." He made his way inside and headed towards the antique room. The door was unlocked.
He went inside to see the door opened, and he went towards it but a bug like cabinet walked in front of it, blocking his only way home.
The room turned bright green for a second but it died down, and Jeremy was sitting on the bug like sofa, eating what appeared to be chocolate covered walnut shaped bugs.
"They say even the proudest spirits can be broken, with love. C'mon Mikey, have a seat." A chair came up behind Michael and he fell on to it unwillingly. It walked him over to Jeremy. "You want one? They're walnut shaped chocolate beetles." Jeremy bit into the squirming bug and Michael could have puked.
"I wanna go home. I wanna be with my Mama and my Jeremy." He demanded and Jeremy turned around to look at him with a face of pure anger.
"Is that anyway to talk to your boyfriend?" He asked and Michael felt his cheeks heat up.
"You are not my boyfriend." Jeremy stood up, arms crossed.
"Apologize. Now."
"No!" Michael froze at how tall Jeremy got, his skin turning pale white and his hair getting darker. He grabbed his wrist and pulled him to the side of the room, pushing him into an antique mirror.
"You can come out when you learn to love me." Michael watched as Jeremy left the mirror and went over and beat on it...he couldn't do anything with it...it was solid.
He turned to see a bed with blue lights seeming to radiate off of it.
"H-Hello?" He asked, and three figured appeared in front of him.
The first was a small boy wearing a tanktop, a flannel over it. He had freckles, a tooth gap, and some burn scars it looked like.
The second was a short and somewhat chubby girl with long hair, a very large sweater falling off her arm.
Lastly there was a taller girl with dark hair, she was wearing a leather jacket with rolled up sleeves, her hands were covered by fingerless gloves, and she was wearing boots.
One thing they all had in common was that they all had button eyes.
"W-Who are you?" Michael asked and the dark haired girl moved closer.
"We don't remember..." She spoke quietly, as if she'd been crying for eternity.
"I remember my love's embrace though." The shorter girl sounded like she was cold, voice shaking.
"He...They lied to uth..." The boy spoke, he had a very notable lisp.
"Wait...the other Jeremy?"
"That's what he is to you." The taller girl pointed to Michael and quickly brought her arms back in, sinking in on herself. "For me they looked like my true love...my sweet Joslyn..."
"How did you...get here?" Michael asked sadly and the short girl began to speak again.
"They spied on us...through a little doll...they seen we weren't happy...that we were miserable...ignored...so they made our dream worlds."
"Everything revolved around uth...it wath perfect...but even thtill, we weren't happy."
"So we let them take away our eyes...and see on the buttons." The taller girl flew through Michael and he could feel her pain it seemed. "We we're stripped from our homes...I remember my brother..."
"Wait...so how did you end up like this?"
"They ate up our liveth..."
"Well... he'll let me out if he wants my life..."
"Maybe if you escape...you could find our eyes..." The short girl whimpered and Michael nodded. He felt a hand grab his wrist and pull him out.
He turned to see the other version of his mother staring down at him.
"M-Mama?" He asked and she dragged him to the door, pushing the cabinet down.
"Mikey!?" Jeremy's voice rang from upstairs.
"Mahal you need to go..."
"Mama I... he'll hurt you..." Michael whimpered and she blew her hand, and it turned into a sand like substance.
"Mahal Kita Michael...." She hugged him tightly and he cried.
"Mahal Din Kita Mama..." He whispered through his tears.
"Mikey!?" She pushed him inside and closed the door.
He crawled through the tunnel, pushing cobwebs out of his way and hearing Jeremy's voice ringing in his head.
He finally pushed the door open and rolled out on to the floor. He locked it quickly, breathing heavily, wiping his tears.
He left the room and headed to the kitchen.
"Mama? You back?" He asked, not seeing her. "Mama?" He checked every room in the house and sighed...no sign of his mother.
He pulled his phone out of his pants pocket and decided to dial Jeremy.
"Pick it up Jere...please..."
"Hey..."
"JEREMY!"
"If you're hearing this, I'm not available right n-now, I'm playing games with my favorite person. Leave a voicemail. T-Thanks." Michael turned the phone off and wiped his itchy eyes, sighing.
"Where have you gone?"
