Sorry I'm spamming the Mario au, at least to those of you who don't really like it. For the rest of you I have no apologies bc I am in love with this au as well

Jeremy sat at his desk, desperately searching for words to invite Michael to the castle. It shouldn't be that hard but Jeremy was absolutely in love with Michael, and was very oblivious to Michael being in love with him.

He finally just wrote out the invitation, giving it to one of his messengers to deliver it to Michael.

(Now to the smol)

Michael heard a knock on the door and ran over quickly, opening it to see one of Jeremy's messengers holding out a letter.

"Thank you." Michael smiled and waved before they left. He closed the door and sat down in his comfy chair and gently opened the letter. He decided to read it aloud just because he was the only one at home(Christine is currently in Jenna's kingdom which is this universe's version of Sarasaland).

"Dear Michael, alright that seems like a fair start." He stopped for a second, making sure not to begin talking to himself, before continuing. "I don't know if you know this, but tonight is the Star Festival. It only happens every so often, by which I mean around every hundred years, and I wanted to invite you to the castle. This event does last until tomorrow night, then the comet the stars come from leaves for a hundred years. Just bring this invitation to get inside my throne room, because I have something really important I'd like to talk about. Sincerely, Prince Jeremy(or Walnut as you call me). PS, don't worry about formality, this isn't that special...okay yes it is but just dress like you normally would." Michael blushed after reading the letter.

Two nights alone with Prince Jeremy...two nights with the cutest prince in the world...Michael could barely go a day without thinking of Jeremy so he wouldn't have sanity by the end of this.

(So now the smol gets dressed and is on his way to the castle, so Super Mario Galaxy intro scene)

Michael smiled as he seen the stars fall to the ground with little tink sounds accompanying them. The kingdom was prettier than he'd ever seen it, granted he'd only lived there a year.

He arrived at the castle and was in awe at how pretty it looked at night, the blue spire tops seemed to glow. He made his way inside and he felt his cheeks already heating up at the thought of Jeremy.

Eventually Michael found the throne room, which was being guarded by two of Jeremy's personal guards. He showed them the invitation and they let him pass.

He walked inside and heard the large doors shut.

"Michael you made it!!" Within seconds, he was being crushed in a hug, that of which belonged to Jeremy.

"Why wouldn't I...also I can't breath." Jeremy let Michael go and smiled wide as he dragged him to the window by the balcony.

"Sorry about crushing you, I was just really happy you made it." Jeremy opened the door and the two made their way on to the balcony. "Mainly because I wanted to show you this." Jeremy motioned for everything around them and Michael's eyes sparkled in amazement.

The sky was a dark but vibrant indigo purple, with colorful shooting stars going everywhere, and the moon looked like it was a light purple, and the light reflected on to the kingdom gorgeously.

But nothing in that sight was as pretty as what Michael saw when he turned to Jeremy. The prince seemed to pop against everything, and when Michael looked at him that night, it felt like time froze.

"I've never showed anybody this view before. I've always been up here by myself. You're the first person who's ever been on this balcony before." Jeremy had his hands on the railings as a bright purple star fell into his open hand.

Michael felt absolutely honored, so much to where he had no clue what to say.

"I wanna give you something, I've never even touched it before but...I think you deserve it. Stay right here." Jeremy gave the star to Michael and ran inside. Michael blushed again, "even his run is beautiful!!"

Jeremy returned with a pink box, opening it slowly. Inside was a medal of sorts, and in the middle was the kingdom's emblem(aka a walnut), and underneath it read "hero and savior."

"It's a medal only to be given to those truly worthy, and...I think you're well over worthy." Jeremy placed the medal around Michael's neck and smiled. "I know you're worthy."

"Jeremy I...thank you...I dunno what to say...I...I never thought that I would ever be a hero worthy of a royal medal." Michael wiped some tears out of his eyes and Jeremy grabbed one of his gloved hands with that of his own and both of them blushed.

"Well... there's more than that...this medal is also awarded to somebody who the ruler trusts with their life...and I trust you with my life. I trust myself with you and I know you'll always be there for me...and...that might be why I've...well I've sort of...more like really...fallen in love with you..." Jeremy's voice squeaked and Michael was staring wide eyed at the prince.

"You've...fallen in love with me?"

"Mmhm." Michael quickly brought Jeremy close and kissed him, causing the prince's face to burn.

When they released, Michael began freaking out.

"W-Was that too much!? Oh gosh I just k-kissed the prince! Somebody's gonna k-kill me! I-" Jeremy silenced Michael with another kiss, and the two stayed there for as long as they could before having to breath. "Woah."

"Could we be boyfriends Michael?" Jeremy asked and Michael nodded, wrapping Jeremy in his arms the tightly and kissing his cheek.

"Of course we can, you little Walnut." Michael said gently and Jeremy leaned into his chest and they stayed cuddled like that while watching the stars fall.

The ended up taking a few pictures and keeping them for themselves, but that wasn't relevant to the fact that that was their first date.

And they were both overwhelmed with happiness.
