Same Wingperson
(TW: swearing and wing person Christine)
"That's easy for you to say Christine, you rambled about Jake to Jeremy for about 4 minutes? It doesn't matter, I can just go up to him and be like hey, I'm gay for you, let's make out." Michael sighed, shaking his DS because he'd died again.
"Well...I dated Jeremy, and you're his best friend, we've gotta be able to find a way for you to tell him....I KNOW. I'll be right back, stay here." Christine ran upstairs and Michael restarted his game.
"If only you could travel through time and try again..." He mumbled and within a few minutes he looked up and almost died when he seen Christine dressed up like Jeremy. "W-Why are you....?"
"Well, I'm good at acting, and I can act as Jeremy, and you tell me how you feel, pretending I'M Jeremy. Okay?" Michael was trying to figure out where Christine had gotten the outfit from but before he could ask, she was sitting down. "Okay we're gonna set the scene, you called Jeremy, aka me, and told him you wanted to come over and talk to him about something important."
"Okay." Michael was waiting for Christine to continue, and she did.
"So I'm gonna start off. Non-existent lights, non-existent camera, and action." She cleared her throat a bit before actually beginning the act. "So Michael you...umm...you wanted to tell me something...?" Michael blushed at how good she was at this.
"Yeah...actually it's more than...something...it could make or break this friendship..." Michael began, actually getting into the moment. Christine put her hand on his shoulder and smiled.
"Nothing could break this friendship Michael. You're my Player 1, my favorite person, and my best friend. Whatever this thing is, I won't judge you." Michael took a breath and nodded slowly.
"Okay...Jeremy...I...I like you...well...more like...love you...but I could never say anything. You were always so engrossed in Christine that every time I tried to tell you, you'd never hear me...and I don't know what it is about you that makes me love you the way I do, but...I do...I have since seventh grade...and I've just wanted to tell you for so damn long that you're my world, and that I wouldn't be able to properly function without you... You mean everything to me, and..and I don't know what I'd do without you...and..and...you have no idea how many times I've cried myself to sleep thinking of how much I love you...I mean...you just don't know what you do to me...you motivate me yet hurt me in so many ways...and I've wanted to tell you how much I wanna hold you close to me and kiss you and tell you I love you but I can't...I can't I can't I can't....because you're too oblivious.. you've been oblivious for the longest time....and...I don't know if I can keep up the charade anymore...." Michael finished, wiping actual tears out of his eyes. He hadn't noticed Christine recording every bit of that on her phone.
"That was really emotional like...oh my God...I'm actually crying myself." She took the wig off and wiped her own tears away and smiled. "So, how do you feel now that you've said it."
"I dunno...I mean...I guess it was kinda satisfying to get it all out there...thanks Christine. I gotta get home now, my moms are having their anniversary today and I wanna make them dinner."
"That's sweet. Bye Michael."
"See ya Chris." And with that, Michael left.
(Time skip to the next afternoon, at Christine's, she listening to Hamilton)
"Burr you disgust me, ah so you've discussed me. I'm a trust fund baby you can trust me-" Christine turned her music off when she heard a knock at the door. Did Michael already confess and come to thank her again?
She went over to the door and was surprised to see a very sweaty Jeremy at the door.
"Jeremy did you run all the way here!?" She asked and he nodded, almost passing out on her. "Woah woah okay we're getting you on the couch." She picked him up, glad he was very light, and moved him to the larger couch of the two in her living room. "Now why did you run all the way here?"
"I...I need help...bad..." He mumbled and Christine sat on her dad's recliner and was ready to listen to Jeremy's spill. "Don't go therapist mode on me...I need love advice."
"Let me guess, you like somebody and can't tell them?"
"Yeah but...the problem is also who I like..."
"Who is it?"
"It's...Michael..." Jeremy mumbled and Christine's eye widened.
"No Christine you promised Michael you wouldn't say anything...you don't wanna ruin your friendship with him or Jeremy...okay just play it cool. Thanks Christine. No problem Christine. You're talking to yourself again."
"Umm Christine?"
"Sorry I zoned out. So you like Michael and don't know how to tell him?"
"Exactly."
"I'll be right back." She ran upstairs, and Jeremy waited.
(Upstairs)
Chrsitine luckily found a red sweater, granted it was turtleneck, in her costume box. She also found some fake glasses, and quickly pinned her hair back and found a short black wig to help cover it up.
She looked at herself in the mirror and smiled. This was going to work.
Jeremy was still downstairs when he turned and almost choked on nothing, thinking he was on something and Michael was a girl before realizing it was Christine.
"So. How's about you practice telling Michael how you feel with me!"
"That's weird because you're my ex."
"Look, I have a plan okay. Just trust me. So before we start, I need to think of what I'ma say to you. And the scenario is thst Michael called you over to talk about something very important. Okay?"
"Okay..." Jeremy mumbled, and Christine went upstairs to listen to the recording of Michael, and smiled. This would be perfect.
