Birthday

Because George Salazar's birthday. It is now Michael's birthday. Jeremy's is the day Be More Chill the novel was published. As for the rest, I dunno probably the actors' birthdays

TW: swearing and can fluff kill you because be prepared.

Jeremy sat up and quickly remembered what day it was. He looked over at the passed out Michael laying next to him...he was gonna be out for a while.

Jeremy got out of the bed gently and stretched a bit. He didn't even have a gift yet.

"Fuck..." He mumbled quietly as he made his way over to Michael's side of the bed, gently kissing him, causing a smile to form on his face. "Happy birthday Micha..." Jeremy whispered as he  went back to the closet to change clothes.

He grabbed the hoodie Michael bought him and quickly put it on. Now to figure out what he and Michael were going to spend the day doing.

Jeremy's brain quickly lit up and he ran downstairs. He began making the only thing he knew how to make. Pancakes. But not just any pancakes, pancakes themes after retro video games.

That would mostly be the decorating portion though, so nothing about the actual pancakes was different.

He quietly hummed as he made them and sat the breakfast table up, smiling contently once he was finished.

Each pancake was decorated differently, one had simple Pac-Man sprites on it, another had a part of the first level of Super Mario Bros.

And the one Jeremy was proudest of was the one that looked like Level 9 of Apocolypse of the Damned, the Cafetorium...the level that gave Jeremy and Michael the hardest of any...the level that also reminded Jeremy of the Squip...but he was somewhat over that.

He didn't need to pour Michael a drink, that boy had three mini fridges both upstairs and downstairs full of Crystal Pepsi and Mountain Dew Red, probably some other old sodas as well. Jeremy just had to get one out and place it on the table.

He just grabbed a Crystal Pepsi and proceeded to head back upstairs. Michael was still asleep, of course, he had taken sleeping medicine.

"Micha, Micha, it's time to wake up. I made you pancakes." Jeremy gently shook Michael, causing the taller male to stir in his sleep. "Michael c'mon get up. It's your birthday and I made you breakfast." Jeremy finally said and Michael's eyes shot open.

"I heard food?" He smiled and Jeremy rolled his eyes.

"Yes I made breakfast now c'mon. I don't want it to get cold on you." Jeremy dragged Michael out of bed and down the stairs, and Michael smelled the pancakes and quickly ran over to them. "And just so you know I decorated them for you and....You're eating them without me? Michael why?"

"What they're good." Michael's face was already full of pancake and Jeremy sighed exasperatedly.

"Did you look at the decorations?"

"No...wait they were decorated?"

"I just said that! Look just because it's your birthday doesn't mean you get to ignore the twenty minutes I spent frosting a damn pancake."

"Fine I'll look at it, but only because I love you." Michael looked at the pancake he was currently devouring and his eyes lit up when he seen it was decorated like the Cafetorium. "Dude there is no way you did that in twenty minutes."

"Ok maybe is was more like twenty nine minutes." Jeremy smiled and he realized Michael was admiring the other pancakes.

"Jere that's thirty minutes. Anyways, why did you make me pancakes again?"

"I just said it was your birthday how did you forget."

"Oh shit it is I'm eighteen today." Michael let a bit of pancake fall out of his mouth and Jeremy sighed.

"Yep. But I was eighteen first." Jeremy smiled smugly and Michael just laughed sarcastically. "But in all realness, what do you think of the pancakes?"

"Good as always Jere." Michael responded while his mouth was full of yet another pancake.

Their breakfast wasn't too eventful after that, just them joking around and Jeremy acting offended even though he wasn't.

Afterwards, Jeremy decided to take Michael to the mall, with over 400 dollars that he planned on not spending on something that could end the world.

"First stop, Spencer's Gifts!" Michael yelled, grabbing Jeremy's arm and dragging him through the parking lot.

Once inside, Jeremy closed his eyes.

"What dude?"

"Why are there so many dildos in there?" Jeremy whispered and Michael shrugged, heading to the back and getting his Crystal Pepsi hook up.

"You can open your eyes we're going somewhere else."

Michael dragged Jeremy to the shop where he got his patches.

"Oh I remember this place. We came here the day you came out, remember?" Jeremy smiled and Michael beamed as he thought of the day Jeremy bought him the pride patch.

"Yep. Now c'mon, I wanna find something special." Michael walked away and Jeremy followed. They looked through countless patches until Michael found one. "No! You don't get to look."

Jeremy fake pouted as Michael bought the patches and they made their way back out of the mall. Jeremy kept trying to glance at what he bought but Michael kept hiding it.

"Okay you wanna see now?" Michael asked as they sat in the car. All Jeremy could do was nod.

Michael pulled out two patches, each a heart, one blue and one red. The blue said P1, the red had P2. Michael handed the red to Jeremy and smiled.

"It wouldn't be a birthday without my Player 2." He cupped Jeremy's cheek and the brunette's freckle covered face lit up with blush.

"Happy birthday, Favorite Person." Jeremy looked down at the patch and smiled again. "And thank you...you didn't have to."

"No I did. I love you and I don't get myself something without getting you something."

"But it's your birthday."

"Yeah...but I already have the best gift I could want." Michael gently brought Jeremy closer and Jeremy blushed brightly. "And it's you...my Player Two...and you'll never know how much I truly love you."

"Michael that rhymed." Jeremy laughed and Michael sighed. "You have to rap you know what now!"

"Fine!" Michael rolled his eyes and Jeremy began best boxing. Michael was rapping Phillip's part from "Take a Break" and had to do so every time he rhymed.

That was the simplest but best birthday Michael had.
