I rewrote this song in an attempt to cope with my feelings regarding the fear of starting to do all the things he forbid me to do (partying, meeting friends) and the regrets I had towords things I had done (espacially smoking weed).

Guess the beginning is kind of me trying to justify myself - how I feel and what I did - and looking at what's ahead of me with my friends and my new relationship and in the end is somewhat me trying to tell myself that it's alright and distancing myself from the past...
