Extra scenes! Enjoy!

This is the last update, its filled with scenes i couldn’t fit into the story that i thought you all would enjoy reading. In order, they're Marinette’s Interrogation, Chloe and Adrien’s Argument, Adrienette wedding, Chloe’s first date, and finally, Emily’s Death.

------------

Marinette’s Interrogation:

“Miss Dupain-cheng, please have a seat.”

I did as told, shaking ever so slightly at the situation.

“I’m going to ask you a few questions.” I nodded in understanding. “Good, now, may I ask you to tell me the events that unfolded throughout that day?”

“Yes, well, um, Me and Nino stayed with Chloe, we were cramming for our finals. I was the first to wake up and I went to stand on the balcony. The air was cool and I wanted to watch the sunrise.”

“Mhm, and what time was it?”

“Um, I’m not so sure actually, it feels like it’s been weeks since then.” My brow furrowed in thought and I brought my hand to my head in thought. “I think it might have been around 6.”

The detective nodded. “Okay, don’t stress too much, continue with the events.”

“O-oh, okay then. The others got up and we all got ready for the day. I distinctly remember it was close to 7 when we got to Alya’s house. We wanted to help her ease into a new sense of normality.”

“Yes, and she had been missing for a year then, correct?”

“Yes.”

“Do you know how she was found? We avoided that question with her so as not to draw up any painful memories but we did find out some information from her parents involving you, might you enlighten me with your telling?”

“Of-of course. So we found her on the edge of town and her heart had stopped.”

“Wait, go back a bit, did any of you know her or was she just another random person to you?”

“Um, I knew her and the others recognized her.”

“Others?”

“Oh, yes, Chloe, Nino, and Adrien.”

“But Adrien was in a coma at the time.” Wep, I’m done for.

“Yes.”

“You said he was there.”

“I never said that.”

“Yes, you listed his name when you were talking about the others.”

“No I didn’t. You asked who recognized her, Adrien was one, he just didn’t see her until the library.” the detective remained emotionless but I could tell I got him there.

“Okay, continue with the events.” I nearly let out a breath of relief at that.

“Right, so, we split up, while Alya and Adrien knew each other, they weren’t that close. Me and Chloe had wanted to check up on him and the other two thought it would be best to explore the city. Me and Chloe boarded the bus and were on our way. We were crowded by 6éme and 3éme and Chloe looked like she was going to die each time they bumped into us.” I thought back.

“Okay, could you continue?”

“Oh, yeah! We got there and I wanted to talk to Adrien so Chloe left the room. Soon after he woke up and a nurse came in to usher us out because his dad was here. Me and Chloe did meet him in the hall after we left. I don’t remember much from the encounter, he was so scary that I blacked out for a bit.” A shiver ran down my spine remembering his chilling stare. “Me and Chloe stopped by a cafe and decided to meet Alya and Nino at the library.”

“What did you get there?”

“Um, a cookie, two mochas and orange juice.”

“Okay, continue.” they waved their hand.

“So, We got there and it was destroyed. I felt compelled to meet the woman in the center, she was my aunt and had been threatening my friends, talking about how she could kill them if she wanted to. I was tackled to the ground by Nino then and I had him take me to a safe place to hide.”

“Why did he tackle you, were you in danger?”

“Well, she was talking about harming me and my friends so I’d say yes?”

“And after that?”

“I met with Adrien’s missing mother and My aunt was soon to follow me after injuring Chloe. She knocked Emily into a bookshelf and backed me against a wall. She burned my face.”

“Where did she get the fire?”

“Beat’s me, I was too busy focusing on the other things around me.”

“Go on.”

“So I managed to get away and Adrien and Nino fended her off. While that happened, Chloe and Alya had called the police. The rest you know.”

“Okay, and a few final questions. What are these black veins?” they pointed to my arms which I had left uncovered today.”

“They are, well, good question. They look cool?”

“So you had them done?”

“Yesss, they aren't natural, I decided to get black veins because why not?” I laughed nervously, I’m a terrible liar. They raised an eyebrow slightly but seemed to see nothing wrong.

“Okay, that’s all the questions we have for now, well contact you if any more arise.” I nodded and stood. My legs were shaky as I made my way out, well that was mildly terrifying, at least it’s over now.

Chloe and Adrien’s argument:

“She’s a nice person, I don’t know why you both don’t like her!” Adrien snapped annoyed.

“She’s crazy! She talks to ghosts.” Chloe said ‘ghosts’ in air quotes. “I don’t know why she's allowed to step foot outside of her house, she’s clearly a hazard to herself.”

“Well, I wouldn’t say that Chloe, I’m okay with her, I just feel like it would be awkward. I don’t really know her and I’ve yet to hear something about her not related to her sanity.” I shrugged.

“Nino, this is why we should meet with her, so she can make friends. She’s always alone and I think she’d like a group of friends or at least some friendly faces in the halls.” Adrien looked towards me.

“I don’t say anything about, I don’t spread rumors about her, is that not enough?”

“No, you do realize that being a bystander is just as bad, right?”

“Whatever! At least he’s talking with some sense!” Chloe interjected.

“No! Both of you are being awful!”

“What?” Chloe yelled. “Do you like her or something? Did she brainwash you at the library?! I’m not being awful!”

“So what if I do?!” He cut through her statement after ‘Do you like her or something?’

Chloe went quiet. “Fine, but when you finally see how insane she is, don’t start crying, I warned you.”

“H-how could you say that?” Adrien looked hurt. “I guess I don’t know you at all, if I knew how you’d turn out when we were kids, I would have never become your friend, I’m ashamed to know you.”

I could hear Chloe shatter, she said nothing as she stormed out, trying to keep from showing weakness.

“Nino?”

“Have fun on your date dude, I’d come but it just is way too far out of my comfort zone.” I walked out feeling like I made a big mistake, I had a weird feeling in my stomach that something was about to go horribly wrong but I pushed it down. There's nothing I can do now.

Adrinette wedding scene!:

“My dear! You're so grown up! You look so beautiful!” My mother started misting as she smoothed out my dress a bit. I looked up at myself in the mirror. I was wearing a floor length white gown with no sleeves. I didn’t want to hide them today, normally they're fine, only slightly embarrassing, but today, I was going to show them off with pride. Like Emily said all those years ago, they're a part of me, I shouldn't ever be ashamed of myself and the things that make up me.

Alya leaned over handing me a bouquet of lilacs. “Thank you.” I smiled at her.

“Are you nervous?” I turned to Chloe who was smirking from her seat.

“Maybe a little but I’m too happy to think much on it!”

“Okay, it’s time to go out.” Alya helped me through the door. “Come on Chloe.” she waved her over and stood in front of the door as I took my dad’s arm. The doors opened and music filled my ears. As I stepped out, My vision tunneled to Adrien smiling brighter than the sun as he watched me make my way down the aisle.

I felt excitement swelling in my chest with every step. I had made it to the front, my eyes never leaving him. He took my hand in his and we tune out the world around us.

“I do.” I say at the right time, I was surprised I managed to do so, I was so caught up in the moment. There was some more talking.

“I do.” Adrien said and then there were the words ‘You may now kiss the bride.’

Adrien swooped me up in his arms, there was cheering around us and a single tear filled with love streaked down my face.

“I love you so much.” He whispered to me.

“I love you too.” I breathed, letting the world fall away around me leaving only the two of us. That’s all that I really needed.

Chloe’s first date:

I was completing homework in my room, Adrien was on a trip with his mom, Marinette’s parents wanted her to help them in the bakery, and Nino was accompanying Alya to her last therapy session.

“You okay?” Amelia was designing another dress to work on in my room, keeping me company. My mom was busy at an interview and she refused choosing to stay back with me than be on tv.

“Yeah, this short story for LA is just frustrating.”

“Well what’s it about?” she set down her work and crawled over to the other side of the table where I was.

“Oh! You have to write an adaptation of Shakespears Romeo and Juliet?! That's so cool!”

“Yeah, I’ve got the parent problem part down pat, but love?! I tried to ask for another play because this is difficult but the teacher just suggested writing what I know! It’s like she enjoys rubbing salt in my wounds.”

“What do you mean?”

“I have to write romance.”

“Have you never had a crush?”

“Well, no, not exactly.” I flushed as she started at me, assessing my reaction.

“Okay, well, How about you go on a couple dates with me and we can work on that part? When’s it due?” I somehow managed to get redder than I was earlier.

“Th-the end of sem-semester. And I’d love to go on a date with you.” I hid my face.

“Great! So, how does it sound if we went out tomorrow at, let’s say, 8?”

“That sounds amazing- great!”

“I can hardly wait.” She went back to her work as if she didn’t nearly murdur me with a heart attack.

The night of the date arrived and I had found a nice shiny golden dress. I was fixing my lipstick when there was a sharp knock on my door.

“Co-come in!” I called rushing to the door putting in my second earring. The door opened to reveal Amelia in a sleek black floor length dress of her own design. I slipped a bee comb into my bun and gave a bright smile to her.

“Hey! We match your hair piece!” she pointed out giggling. She held out her elbow and I accepted it.

“So where are we going?” I asked her.

“I thought it would be fun to go to the premiere of Emily’s recent movie.”

“Wait! That’s tonight?!” I panicked, I had completely forgotten.

“Yep, I know you’ve never missed one and you've been so stressed that I figure that this would be a nice distraction.”

“Thank you!” I squeezed her arm.

We made it to the theater and talked with the others there.

“Chloe! I’m so glad you could make it!” I turned to see Emily making her way over.

“Emily!” I threw my arms around her.

“Emily, there's a reporter who's here to ask you some questions.” Natlie approached us.

She looked back at me. “It’s fine, I should probably get back to my date.” Emily smiled understanding.

“Okay, I won’t keep you then. Have a wonderful night and I hope you enjoy the movie.” she waved walking away.

I met back up with Amelia. “Thank you, I’m sorry I ran off.”

“It’s alright, I understand.” She giggled, taking a bite of a macaron made by Marinette's parents. The Dupain-chengs were catering per Emily's suggestion. We all loved their pastries.

“Mm! This is so good! Chloe, you must try this!” She glowed holding the macaron she just tried out to me. I blushed and took a bite.

‘This is good!” blushed. “I mean, of course, everything they make is about as good as your designs so it’s no surprise their amazing.” I rambled, my arms crossed. Amelia had the stars in her eyes at my words.

“Um, it’s time for the movie.” I panicked trying to not make any more of a fool of myself, watching the coed slowly trickle into the theater. We took our seats and the movie started. Half way through, I felt Amelia’s arm around my shoulder and I absentmindedly leaned into her.

Once it was over, we made our way out into the darkness, Alelia’s arm still around me. We got to the hotel and she bid me good night.

“I can’t wait for the next one.” she smirked playfully.

I threw off my shoes one through the door and flopped onto the bed, giggling like a child into my pillow, her words playing over and over in my head like music.

“I can’t wait for the next one either.” I breathed beaming.

Emily’s Death:

I walked out of my father's house grumbling. What did he mean I wasn’t the next death? I worked so hard! I studied and trained by his side, holding on to what I was told was mine! I dropped all my extracurriculars as a kid, didn’t go to college all because I was fed a shiny, golden lie. It was too perfect to be true. I had gone through pain as a child just to have my dream snatched out of my grasp.

I made my way to the library thinking of everything I had gone through, the power was directed to my head and because of that foolish mistake on my part, it left me blind to all but magic. Each spell I cast would cause me unmeasurable pain as my neurons shot signals of agony all throughout my body from my brain. I was only a child! And now, now all I’ve worked to achieve, all that was mine, is gone.

“Tomoe?” I heard my brother, I felt him guide me to my reading spot. I wished to see it, it was a little nook, unbothered in the far corner. Emily would describe it to me and with every word explaining it, it made me want to be able to see it more and more.

“I closed the shop today and will be leaving to see Sabine and Marinette. It will just be the two of you today.” I just gave a sharp nod, not daring to speak, too afraid that I’d become a sobbing mess. I heard a faint sound of bells in the distance and the sound of Emily’s flats on the flooring.

“Have a good day!” I heard her call to my brother as he left. “Tomoe!” Her voice directed to me now.

“Emily,” I greeted as I listened to her walk over and take a seat next to me. “What book will it be today?”

“Well, I figured maybe Hamlet!” She flipped open the book and started to read. It starts with seeing the late king's ghost and also talks about Hamlet mourning his father's death. He- he was killed by his brother. It was so easy and simple.

A weird feeling settled over me. I deserve to be death, and it’s so simple to kill another, so if the fates won’t hand me the job themselves, then who says I can’t just seize it?

In a rash, spur of the moment decision, I creeped my hand close to a pillow. Emile set it up so it would be comfortable when we met and I knew where each and every thing was.

My fingers wrapped the pillow, my heart drumming in my chest. I heard Emily pause her reading, noticing my panic and I felt her place a hand on my shoulder. My mind was flicked on like a switch and I pushed her over, my hand with the pillow swing to her head and I held it over her face, pressing down.

I could feel her struggling start to weaken until she went still. I waited a few seconds longer before the weight of what I’ve done had settled upon my shoulders. I killed her.

Tears started waterfalling down my cheeks. I ran my hand through my hair. Emily, she, she was my best friend in school, she was always by my side and never let me suffer through the results of magic alone. She was there to aid me when I went blind and supported me in my dream to be death. Emily would never hurt me, and here I was standing over her dead body and it was all my fault, she would never hurt me but I didn’t seem to hesitate with murdering her.

I drew a couple deep breaths, no, this isn’t my fault, this is the fates fault for not giving me the powers of death. I killed her, but it was to reach my goal, so I could be death, Emily would understand, she’s always supported me so I’m hopeful she won’t have any hard feelings on it.

I lifted her by her arms and dragged her to the staff only room. There, there was a trap door leading to a basement where me and my father practiced magic. It was our little secret, even from the rest of the family. My father passed the library onto my brother because we both had thought I’d be the next death and My sister, Sabine, had already started cutting ties to our family.

I unlocked the hatch and struggled to carry her down. There was one rung that made my heart skip a beat at the creak, but it did nothing and I continued down.

There was magic everywhere, glimmering in my vision. I love being here and seeing things finally, in the corner of my vision, I saw a cluster of magic in the shape of flowers. I bit my lip for a spell before deciding that she deserved to rest there, in the flowers. I felt awful for what I did and needed to do something to rest my uneasiness, but I don’t regret this.

“I’m sorry Emily, but I’ll trust you to understand my reasoning, I had to.” I muttered, laying her down.

I made my way back up the stairs and saw her ghostly form where she died, looking around, confused and scared.

“Um, hello? Can you see me? I don’t know who I am nor where I am and I was hoping you could help.” My breath caught in my throat at her words for a moment before ignoring her and making my way out. It hurt too much to talk to her ghost right now and it would be best if I didn’t find myself there anytime soon.

Years later I was helping my daughter, Kagami, pack for her fencing tournament.

“Madam? Her chauffeur called in sick so Gabriel Agreste has offered to drive her.”

“Tell him thanks.” I beamed, How nice of him to offer help to us.

“The car is right outside.”

“Good luck, I’ll be a bit late today.” I waved her off and made my way inside. After a moment, the same servant ran into my study.

“Mrs? We just received a call from the hospital, the car crashed, it seemed to be purposeful and, well, your daughter is bleeding out in the hospital. Because all the chauffeurs aren’t here, I’ll drive you.

“Yes! Take me to her!” I cried in a panic. Everything passed in a blur and soon enough, I was at the hospital.

“Kagami.” I whispered, I couldn’t see her, the face of my daughter, but what was worse was I could hear her cries of pain before she went silent.

“Gabriel did this.” I was in such a state of shock that I couldn’t move.

At home, I was in so much pain that I sunk a knife in my stomach. As a poltergeist, I’ll be even more powerful, I will seek revenge for Kagami. ‘Gabriel Agreste, I hope you enjoy the pain of loseing your child in turn’ was my last thought before I died.
