Chapter Three, Where There's A Will There's A Way

I rubbed my eyes furiously.

Stupid eye crust!

I sat up and yawned.

And then last nights conversation crashed into my brain.

Ow.

I went to the bookshelf and picked up my outfit for the day on top of it and put it on.

It was black jeans and a black T-shirt.

I put my long blackish bluelish hair up into twin pigtails and put my old boots on.

Ready for the day! I screamed in my head.

"Ouch."

"Sorry dad, did I wake you up?"

"No, I was already awake you just made my ears bleed to death. Thank you."

"You are so welcome." I said with a laugh.

"Oh, Yuki I think I found a way for you to meet your parents."

"Really!"

"Yes. I thought about an old ritual one of my subordinates used to use to go back into the past. Maybe you could do it."

"How would I?"

"You need demon blood, purer the better, A locket, something very important to you, and chalk. "

"Okay. Are you sure about this? I don't want to end up with my arms in a different time and my legs still here."

"I'm sure."

"Alright. Let's do it."

"Right now!"

"Well it's now or never."

"Okay do you have a locket?"

I thought of the locket I wore that used to belong to my mother that I always wore.

"Yep, my mother's old one. "

"And that's also something important to you.... Chalk?"

"Sidewalk chalk, work?"

"It'll do. And I'll provide the demon blood."

"Okay. Let's do it."

After I had drawn this circle summony thingy on the ground I put my locket in my hands.

Dad jumpt out of me and bit his paw and drew his blood in the middle of the circle.

Then I said the words he told me to say.

After I said them, "Now what do I do?"

"Wish on your locket to the time you want to go to and it'll take you there. Do you have your sword?"

"Sounds easy enough and yes."

"Focus though or you'll get lost."

"Okay."

"And Yuki do me a favor, will you?"

"Anything."

"Kill me in the past. That is the only way you'll parents will ever be able to survive."

"Not anything."

"Yuki, you must. You won't forget about me. I will always live in your heart. But this is the only way to make you truly happy."

"I can't kill you!"

"You won't be killing me. You'll be killing Satan."

I froze a little.

"Only for you. I will try."

"Okay and Yuki don't tell anyone about me for your sake. Remember I will always love you."

"Don't say it like you're saying goodbye."

"I am saying goodbye."

"I love you." I said then wished.

I felt my flames coming out and engulfing me.

I focused on Dad.

Take me to him, I ordered.

Then I felt the harsh wind and I fell down into my flames.

I reached up for everything around me and screamed.

"Take me to them!"

Then I was jerked back in time.
