Seconds turned into minutes, minutes into hours, hours into days, days into weeks, and weeks into months.

Time passed.

Summer went by like a flash, yet no sign of Zoey by the time school started again.

Jack, Miko, and Raf desperately tried to talk to her at school, but Zoey turned away from them and walked away when she saw them coming.

She left school, walking right by the 'Bots at a safe distance.

Though she desperately missed her friends, Zoey had made up her mind.

The same could be said about her friends.

They missed her dearly and sent the humans to talk to her, but she refused to talk.

Smokescreen, however, was the most affected by Zoey's absence.

After coming to a few hours after Zoey left and being told what happened, he had started to cry tears of Energon. Now, he rarely left his berthroom, not even when someone asked him if he wanted to go out for a drive. And that's saying something is definitely wrong with Smokescreen.

Every time Zoey went home, she cried herself to sleep. She missed her friends, her heart constantly tugged to them, but her mind prevented her from going.
