" rose get in here now or you are going to be late " the voice said and when i bend to see the person's face it's​ Tom's ...

" what are you doing here tom ? " i asked him surprised

" i thought you might need a ride " he said with a soft smile

"now get in c'mon " he said and i did as told

Oh he's my hero

" so how did you know i was at the bus station ?" i asked him after a while of a calming silence

" i was thinking that you don't have a car and you were too excited yesterday that you might forget to order a taxi so like any normal person in that case you would take the bus " he said simply then added

"and i couldn't let you take the bus alone looking like that" he looks at me while still driving

what ?

" why ?is there something wrong with what i'm wearing ?" i asked confused



" yes of course there is , you look absolutely gorgeous and i'm a protective friend so " he said and i blushed and he noticed so he focused on the road smiling

" thank you tom really i appreciate it " i said thankful for him

"no you don't have to i mean what are friends for , right ? " he said kindly smiling

" you are a good person tom " i said and feel him flush

" so tell me do you have any sipilings ?" he asked and i shook my head

" what about you ?" i asked him

" i have two older brothers " he said

we spent the whole ride talking and laughing , tom and i have a lot of commons actually i told him all about emm and max and mum , dad too and that i'm half italian i know i shouldn't have opened up like that , mum used to tell me to not open up to a person you barely know but with tom it feels right i even told him that him and max have a lot in common​ in appearance , they both had light brown to blonde hair and both got the grey caramel eyes although max is muscular and has more of a grey blue eyes but it's true tom is like max's twin except that papa max is a player

we reached our destination

"hey we made it on time right ? it is 9:30 now " he said proud of himself .

he pulled in front of a huge building half of the windows are glass and the building looks so fancy and ... and...so amusing actually there are no words to describe how the building looks like .

"grazie tom " i said to tom and he pulled me to a hug a friendly one

" no rose don't say this and as i told you earlier what are friends for ?" he said smiling

"of course " i said smiling i got out of the car and was extremely amazed when i saw how tall is the building is , the first five floor were design with brown wooden material but the rest was brown glass , at the middle of the building is written in brown material with huge size THE JONES BROWN wow ! .enough of amazing shocks already .... i finally decided to go in.

dio . i feel so lost in here , there are many people and they all .....all in black , white and grey

anyways.....

i reached the hall , the secretary there called my name

"miss hunter ? " she said wondering i rushed to her

" uh yeah that's me " i said nervously

" They're waiting for you at floor number 32 . they will take care of you up there miss "she said and smiled a fake smile

i made my way to the elevator and of course the elevator stopped at every floor we passed by , people got in others got out but whenever we are close to the 32 floor people decrease in number until i was left alone in the lift till finally the lift came to a stop at the 32 floor

as i stepped out i found a tall skinny blonde girl or should i say women came towards me with a fake smile on her face .

god ! what's wrong with every body here putting on a fake smiles?

"miss hunter welcome at the jones brown" she said

"wait here if you please mr brown will see you in a second" she said and she is gone .

after 5 minutes a tall girl , like really tall girl with a very white skin almost like a pale ghost white skin and a short black hair came towards me with the same fake smile

i guess fake smile is the new trend now

" follow me please miss hunter" she said i followed her silently she kept on opening huge wooden doors finally she stopped in front of a door that looks different than the other doors

it's brown wooden door that is huger than the rest

" here miss hunter you may enter" she said and pressure starts to build in my stomach , i feel butterflies in my tummy as if i'm little girl showing her mother her monthly exam report

i push the door slightly and got in ,i was surprised by how spacious the room is it's so big so wide with white walls and brown wooden floor , there is this huge glass table at my left side with brown leather meeting chairs , at the right there is a small white fridge and a mini bar with various types of drinks ,my eyes also lied on the portrait above the meeting table it's amazingly beautiful , it looks like a sky and couple of birds but some how it could speak love , peace and freedom it's wonderful then i adverted my eyes to a brown classic couch in the middle of the room that it's pattern matches the meeting's chair just in front of the office desk while my eyes kept wondering and searching the place on their way they lied on the person sitting in front of me , facing me . the moment my eyes land on him ... i couldn't get them off of him , amazed no shocked actually i never would had imagined that the williams brown they were talking about would look like this , yeah i imagined to find a beautiful guy like what they said but not like this .

Not a Greek god .

he has a long silky brown hair which is pushed perfectly upwards away from his forehead and those brown eyes lila was talking about and a tan skin , straight nose , sharp muscly jaw

....am i .... god no ! i am not ... staring at him mouth opened am i ? .... my god i am .. i closed the door after closing my mouth .

he immediately stood up from his chair and i had to drag my legs which by now are the consistance​ of jell-O to finally stand in front of his desk .

Don't ask me what's wrong with me cause I don't know , I've never been this affect by anyone even though I've seen tons of beautiful boys .

he's wearing dark grey tux with a matching tie and white shirt when he closed the button of his jacket his muscles flex during the process and it definitely got my attention , good Lord .

he's tall like six foot five or something , simply he's in a great shape, he has tall fingers perfect tall fingers , he is really attractive.

stop it rose what are you thinking? you have to focus on the interview . i drift my mind to the job in hand

"welcome miss hunter " he said with a cold face i think with a business man face , they are all cold

"williams brown" he said introducing him self , he raised his hand towards me at the second our hands touched something tingles inside of me and a cool shiver ran through me , i don't like the effect this dude having on me already , i blushed ! so yeah i blush a lot ....

"it's rosabella isn't it?" he said with a smoky voice

"just rose" i told him softly

"okay miss rose shall we begin" he said to me with the same cold tone and the butterflies came back to my tummy i guess they have never left , he guided me with pointing his hand to the couch and i took a seat and he sat back at his chair opposite from me .

" miss hunter why would you want to apply for your internship here ,you study english literature right?" he asked with a curious tone

"i study english literature , yeah​... y-yes i do " i said with a shaky unsecure voice .

god ! rose first impression lasts , be strong and confident

"what i mean is that you have plenty of companies that offers internships opportunities, why us ?" he softly spoken and now I know that I have to focus

Okay business time .

"why not you ? but to answer your question i am not from here including it's my first time to come to washington , your company was the first i heard of , so i took my chances " not that strong rosa , i do need this internship plus i don't know from where did that come from but i am quit amused of myself even him , his eyes flare surprisingly for a moment before he quickly recover

" where are you from then ? " he asked me .

"i'm from fresno , los Angeles originally " i said

"what do you mean? " he asked , When you nod your head yes

But you wanna say no , it's a great song -the hell ? focus rose , i thought

"well i was born in L.A and raised there half of my life but then we moved" i said explaining further

"i see " he said nodding

"why did you leave fresno and came here ?" he asked me still wearing the cold face .

" i wanted to follow my dreams " i said simply

" which they are ?"he asked and I think now I got his attention because he rested back in his seat gazing at me , hia steady gaze warms my body .

too many question , didn't he heard about personal life !

"uhm...i want to be a writer or publisher something in that field but mostly a writer " and i want to be in my daddy's home town , i couldn't tell him this cause he'll ask questions

" of course you miss everyone back home ?" he asked,

are we like playing 20 questions or something?

" yeah i really do , i'm not used to be far away from max and emma , sonia and mum too ..maybe" I said whispering the maybe word.

"maybe?"he wondered , crap

He heard .
I guess my voice wasn't that low .

" yeah​ i mean i missed her too" i half lied

"what about your father ? " he asked the question i was hopping that he won't say , because this is a really sensitive part that no one is allowed to step in and talk about

" oh ... he is .. he died when i was eight " i start feeling the tears , i'm doing my best to stop them.

you can't cry you just can't for god sake you're being interviewed.

get a grip hunter

his facial expressions changed ,i can't read his face i can see pity and sadness and coldness at the same time

" i ....uhm.... i am sorry rosabella" he told me softly but still cold .

"no i am sorry mr.williams " i said , why i'm apologizing , again ?

" no it's..." he was interrupted by this tall blond skinny women coming in after knocking

"sorry mr.brown but your next meeting with mr eivan silvio was cancelled "she said before she can say another word he stormed standing up from his chair anger is crystal clear across his face , those brown eyes turned red momentarily

"what ??? who cancelled it ?and when was that?" he said angrly through his teeth

"it's mr silvio himself who cancelled it sir just now, he said that he can't come from italy this week at all and that he'll call you sir " she said and i can feel that she wanna take the last sentence back again , maybe they know each other mr williams and this sivolo or sivlo guy whatever was his name

he calmed himself somehow

" then the whole deal is cancelled" he answered deadly .

how can he be that calm after being a sea storm moments ago "but mr.brown this is a huge ...." he immediately cut her off

"did you hear me miss loran , the deal is off" with that he went back to sit on his office chair

" inform andrew with so and eivan too " he said

" you may go as well miss loran we are not done here ....not yet "he added and turned his eyes to me so calmly like nothing had happened ..

loran did as told and went out shutting the door behind her , the next movement surprised me , he stood up and moved around to sit at the chair next to the couch i was sitting on

"so miss hunter what is it that we were taking about before loran interrupt ? " he asked quitly , i don't want to remember actually . cause it was my father's topic . he quickly noticed that my facial expressions had changed and he changed it immediately

"miss hunter what can i do to you , now ?" he said stroking his index finger against his lower lip thinking

oh god ! i blushed .

" uhm... i'm ready for anything sir , i can do whatever you want me to do " i said hesitatingly .

i sound as a submissive

oh god ! stop with those thoughts rosabella

"no miss hunter don't make me choose , i can do a lot of things to you " he said with a husky voice staring at me dead in the eyes with his dark brown eyes that got shivers rolling all the way down my spin and the butterflies start flying real high in my tummy this time and my hands start to sweat from embarrassment but he never seemed to mind what he said .

He moved his eyes away from mine and bit his power lip while stocking his chin with his thumb and index finger and this small action made me feel things and my heart beats start to race .

" your skills fit for a lot of positions in my company even though you have no experience " he said then looked again at me with dark eyes

" oh okay " that's all i can manage to say , I bit my lip out of nervousness , his eyes cought the action . He shifted in his chair and cleared his throat

"ok miss hunter i found it . mr andrew our company's lawyer would definitely need an assistant so what do you think about being a paralegal ?"he offered but i'm really confused ...why? i don't get it do he treats all his employee this way? even though i'm not a real employee i'm an intern but it didn't seem to be.. after i saw the way he was talking to loran ,so formal and cold and .........dead .

why is he taking my opinion for the job? and most of all why is he meeting me personally???? what's this interview is all about?

god this is exhusting to think about , my thoughts are getting the best of me already

"miss hunter are you paying attention to what i was saying?"i realized that i wasn't paying attention at all .

"s..sorry mr williams" why do he insists on calling me miss hunter ? he is so formal

But I guess because I'm his employee so he has to be formal!! .

.i decided to agree about the assistant job i mean who would 've dreamed and beside i'm a really organized person so organizing a lawyer's stuff would be peice of cake to me .

"so then tomorrow at 8 am i shall interduse​ you to mr andrew " he said and i quickly agreed out of excitenment without thinking .

When we finished he walked me to the door and opened it for me

what a gentle man he is

before i could go out he speaks

" miss hunter" he called and i turn to look at him , his eyes are cold and dark and it somehow it scared me .

"tomorrow "he said ,and i don't know why but his words were holding tantilizing promises and something that i can't read , i blushed and my breath hitches

So here is a fact , he makes me literally turn into a nerve ball .

what happens to me around him is so unfamiliar and it makes me anxious.

so yeah he's attractive and i can't take my eyes off of him , so what ?

"tomorrow" i replied with a nod then i'm out heading to the elevator . when i checked myself at the lift's mirror my cheeks are red blood and my skin is pale but my eyes are glowing , my heart is beating like crazy like a girl saw her live after a long time it's as if my heart recognizes him and was affected by him and that's what scared me .

After i got out of the jones brown i asked myself a really important question

how the hell am i going to go back to the campus ??

god !!!rosabella how you get so stupid sometimes !!

now what ? you don't even know where is the bus station and then i was for the second time surprised by seeing tom standing there half sitting on a random parked car with his gorgeous smile and opening his hands for me as an welcoming way like he always does.

after i got in his car which was few blocks away from the company

he starts with the questions

"so tell me how was your interview? "

"it was not what i've expected " i said it and meant it

"in a good way or a bad way"

"no good like really good way "i rushed saying

"ok that's really great "he said excitingly

"so how did you find mr williams brown?"he asked , i can't find words my mind didn't wait a second and started immediately  is giving me the flash back of him and his mood changing like how could he be so moody like this one second he is emotional when he brought up my father's death thing and the other when he knew about the meeting cancelling he was so angry and then he played the cold guy type and those weird sexy things he was doing with his lip and fingers ugh  .

i don't know why i have the feeling that there is a really big mystery behind him and somehow I'm scared and anxious to try and come near him or this whole mystery Aura around hi.

"earth calls rosabella" tom interrupts my thoughts .

"ohh sorry tom what was you're saying ? "

" i was asking​ you , how was williams brown? "

"bene " is all i can say

"what ?" tom asked confused

" oh i mean fine .....he was fine " i told him nodding. Even though fine wasn't a word to describe him it's nothing  beside what I truly think of Williams brown .

From all the words I could have said to chose fine  !! really rose fine is the word to describe this man really

" you speak languages other than english ?" he asked me cocking an eyebrow

" ...si , i'm half italian " i told him

" oh , really ?" he said surprised and  i nodded smiling .

"so williams brown was just...what was it ? bene " he pronounced it totally wrong making me laugh

"yes i guess" i am lying or not ....i don't really know

"so did you got the job or what ? shall we celebrate "i laugh

" yeah​ i think i did , i'm their new paralegal " i told him

"really that's great rose " he said with a huge smile

" thank you " i said while smiling back at him

"so when would you start then ? "he asked i start telling everything to tom and answering his endless list of questions

"so you'll start tomorrow , for sure ?" he asked

" si , for sure " i nodded smiling

"ok i'll give you a ride there then" he said happily

"thank you tom i'm really sorry but i have no one here except you"i said and he frowned a little

" now rule number one rose , no sorry or thank you between me and my friends " he said smilling sweetly as ever and i nodded

after we reached the campus and he parked the car in the campus parking area he turned his face to me

" rosa i'm really happy for you , you know" he said smiling

" i know thank you tom i appreciate every thing you have do to me so far till now " i told him

"what did i say ?" he said and i laugh

" okay sorry " i said then covered my mouth with my hands and we both laughed

" we'll go out this weekend me rebaca and emily go out every weekend as i told you before so no escape rose "

"i know , i'm already excited " i said smiling a goofy smile

"ok friday , i could take you to dinner at jennkiz it's rebeca's favorite "

"yeah​ cool " i said

"ok then " he said

"ok see you tomorrow then" i said and moved out of the car

after i got back to my room i found rebeca laying on the bed with a book in her hands

"hey roomy where were you ?" she asked me

"aren't you supposed to be having lessons ?" i asked in return

"hey i asked first but anyway i got back from my mother's just an hour ago "

"oh i didn't know that you was at your mother's place " i told her

"yeah​ sorry about that i should've told you" she said looking sorry 

"no it's okay " i said smiling at her

"so , answer mine "

" i was at the jones brown " I told her and witness her eyes widen and her jaw dropped to the floor .

Okay ...

"what ?? why?"she asked surprised

after an hour of explanation to rebeca she finally asked one thoughtful question that i wasn't aware of

"so i guess you'ill be moving from here , i mean to another campus or like rent an apartment or are you gonna buy yourself a car ?"

OH.MY.GOD

i totally forgot about it ...

what were you thinking rose when you agreed for this job ?
or even applied for it after knowing that it's in seattle

Crap now what ???

And I can't afford buying a car now or even renting an apartment , hell I won't even accept living at a motel .

Double crap ...

I hate it when I put my hope high then I'm turned down

" oh god i don't know , i wasn't thinking about it at all " i said to her equally surprised of my foolish stupid unthinking self

after a long time of thinking i finally decided to quit what i didn't even begin .

I mean there is no other way

i brought my laptop placing it on my lab and decided to e-mail the jones brown on their company e-mail but this time i will write to mr brown as i don't know his personal  e-mail , because i need to apologise to him personally i don't know why i have to but it's just a felling

I am writing for you sir personally , i want to apologise personally​  from you because
i can not accept your offered job or another job at your company not only yours sir but Seattle​ in general as you might   know that i currently live in pullman besides that i am a WSU student therefore i am forced (committed) to stay at pullman .

once more i am sorry mr brown for letting you down firstly and interrupting you secondly .

i'm beyond surprised yet shocked with how fast had he replied and it's him personally on his personal e-mail address but what did he mean by saying every thing is settled i need to ask him but i don't wanna seem so annoying and the questioning type although i know that i am , i'm so confused right know!!

a flash back of him come to my mind and how great he was when i caught sight of him with his brown eyes i saw an endless braveness but at the same time fear and coldness and maybe a bit of darkness through them , and his sleeked brown hair which appeared georgious  and all soft and silky , his features alone are mesmerizing along with french-faced he is not big he seems young like 27 maybe 28 or younger but no he looks like a man not a boy he's a man . a beautiful man , yes he is there is no denying in that matter two can't argue about it

he has attractive aura ,
