Generally, Audrey is a pretty pleasant person to be around, with polite manners practically sewn into her personality by her parents, when you first meet her she isn't much to write home about, usually saying the right thing and being kind and unnoticeable. It's not until you get to know her a little that she lets the formalities drop. In reality she's a snarky, hot mess who's always itching for adventure or anything more real than the false smiles she usually wears. She's got a bit of an attitude towards authority and if she's comfortable she might even have the confidence to show it. Admittedly she can be a little timid to new things and usually needs prompting to actually go through with the adventure she really longs for. Still, she lives off impulses and the aura of whoever she's with. She loves to gush about her hobbies and would rather die than go through more small talk with someone. She's still confused about a lot, even with how she acts and who she is, but that wouldn't stop her form having fun or showing her rebellion. When it comes to relationships she far more anxious and a little timid, waiting to ask permission to hold hands and blushing usually more than humanly possible. Because of her parents view on her sexuality she's admittedly still hesitant to act on her feelings, though she wants desperately to grow out of that and be able to flirt freely.

Aubrey has had a pretty normal childhood and life, with a little sister and good parents. There was nothing that set her apart from the other suburban families, the Linch family was conservative and polite and 'perfect'. And that was exactly how Aubrey's parents liked it, teaching their girls how to be perfect house wives and that their lives would be humble just like their mothers. Unfortunately, when Audrey got older she realized pretty quickly she wasn't meant for her parents plans. She started questioning her sexuality the second she went through puberty and started becoming rebellious towards her parents more and more the older she got. At sixteen she was caught on the streets vandalizing a park statue with friends and her parents simply grounded her. She was scolded at for swearing in church. But the last straw was when she was caught holding hands and cuddling with a girl from her school. Her parents suspected it all along, and to cope with this fact they shipped her off to America to a catholic boarding school. Ever since she's started to try to be more like what her parents want, but still can't shake the feeling that she's...really really gay.
