it started when i saw him;
it wasn't some amazing moment,
but it was how we met. his gaze met
mine, then i was a fool to smile, to which
he let out a chuckle. i wasn't sure if he saw
what i saw in him — but that was how i made
it a promise that i'd do something that i'd regret
later on in this life of mine.

i thought that this was one of those moments
where the main character falls in love and live
the life of a disney princess, a moment of peace
before everything suddenly falls into the right
time — then i realized, this is the real world.
